A/N: Wooooow! It's been 2 years since I first started this fic! I'm amazed at myself! Hope to make this a good one. Gonna try and stray off the path that was set in the original anime. Also, been reading a lot of messages and reviews about what to do with Enel. Half want me to have him killed and take his power. The other half wants me to have him live and go to the moon in case Oda has something planned later on for him. Henceforth, I'm setting up a poll to decide. Now, on to the 100th chapter of Luffy's Renewed Adventure!
-Luffy-
Luffy was calmly watching the scenery go by while riding atop of Nola's head as the snake slithered through the forest. His gaze shifted skyward while his mind went through a rare moments of thought.
'Can't do anything until Enel comes down from that beanstalk. He'll see me coming a mile away.' he thought before lowering his gaze. 'Just have to wait and take out any of his men that I come across.'
"Baaaa!" Luffy looked behind him to see two Enforcers in a battle stance behind him.
"I'm surprised that this snake hasn't eateeeen you." said one of them. "But, it matters not!"
"By order of God Eneeel, you are to be struck down!" said the other before they started skating towards him. They were inches away before they found themselves knocked through one tree, then embedded into the bark of the one behind it, completely out cold.
"Still wish that you guys were actual goats." Luffy pouted, remembering his first encounter with these weirdos.
-Wiper-
The Shandians were all speeding through the forest in separate directions, each of them still having one goat in mind. Taking their home back from God Enel. Wiper in particular was more determined than ever to reclaim his ancestors homeland. He stopped after skating for awhile and stood on a tall branch up in the trees while breathing heavily, as if he couldn't catch his breath.
'Great Warrior Calgara! The descendant of your friend is somewhere on the Blue Sea below. I swear,' he thought as he looked up at Giant Jack, tears burning his eyes. 'I will let him know what happened to you!' He then screamed for all to hear, "I WILL LIGHT THE FIRE OF SHANDORA!"
-Chopper-
Chopper was panting heavily after running from the giant snake. His fur was soaked with sweat, and his eyes were still wide and full of fear.
"I...I think *pant* that we lost it...Do you see anything Grace?...Grace, do you see it?" Chopper slowly looked towards his back, wondering why Grace wasn't answering. He stared at the empty spot on his back...empty spot..."AAAAAAHHHHHH! WHERE IS SHE?!"
-Grace-
"BAAAA!"
"AAHHH! DON'T ATTACK M-GAH!"
"BWAHAHAHAHA!"
"Such a lovely day for tea. Wouldn't you agree, Miss...err."
"Grace." said Grace as the Enforcer with yellow-green paint on his white attire poured her some tea. "And it is, minus the warzone we're in."
"Yes. Still, it's God Enel's will that we fight you Blue Sea Dwellers and the Shandians." said the Enforcer. "By the way, why were you wondering around Upper Yard by yourself?"
"I had a friend here with me, but we got separated."
-Flashback-
Grace was clinging to Chopper for dear life before she dared to look behind them to see if the snake was gone. Relief flooded her as she turned to talk to Chopper.
"Chopper, the snake is-" she said before being cut off when she felt her body jerk back. She looked around to see that she was ensnared in some vines that were hanging under a giant root from one of the trees. "Stupid vines! Chopper, help me..." Her voice died when she saw Chopper was already out of sight. "...Chopper?"
-Present-
"That's awful!" said the Enforcer as his fellow enforcers either laughed or killed each other, courtesy of Grace's Colors Trap!
"Can't blame him though. That snake was huge!" she said before finishing her tea. "After that, I struggled until I got free, but then you guys all arrived ready to kill me."
"Yeah, sorry about that." said the Enforcer while rubbing the back of his head. "Don't know what got-" was all he said before his head slammed into the ground. Grace merely smiled as she threw the broken piece of wood aside and gathered her things.
"B-BYE, PAINTER BL-BLUE SEA DWAHAHAHAHA!" laughed the only conscious Enforcer.
"Too bad we're enemies." she said as she began walking. "They seem like nice guys."
-Chopper-
"AAAAHHHHH! STOP CHASING ME! LEAVE ME ALONE!"
"BAAAAA!"
"I NEVER SHOULD HAVE COME HERE!" Chopper yelled hysterically as he ran away from a couple of Enforcers on his tail. He kept running before he spotted another group of men coming from the other direction.
"Shandians!"
"Enforcers!" Soon the two sides clashed, leaving Chopper to run away while screaming for his friends to save him.
-Vivi and Carue-
"No! Wait! Hold on a-"
"CANDY COATING!" yelled Vivi before throwing her arm out towards the Enforcer, who watched in horror as it turned into candy syrup and splattered over his face. He quickly tried to pull it off, only to find moving his hands difficult after they hardened with his face. The man thrashed and grunted as he tried to breathe before succumbing to exhaustion and passing out. Vivi pulled back the syrup from his face while trying to catch her breath, her eyes darting around her at the other two Enforcers. One who was stuck to a tree and struggling to break free. The other one looking like giant candy statue with his mouth uncovered for air. "I just...wanted to...get through." she panted before looking at Carue. Carue looked like he had seen better days as he lay there on the ground, an X shaped gash bleeding from under his left wing where an Enforcer struck with an Axe Dial. "Carue! Are you alright?!" Vivi asked in worry. Carue quacked at her, saying he wasn't that bad. "We really need to get you to safety! Come on!" she said before helping Carue to his feet and gently walking with him away from the area.
"HEY! COME BACK HEEEERE!" shouted the Enforcer stuck to the tree, to which Vivi ignored. "...please?"
-With Robin-
Robin was calmly walking through Upper Yard as the area around her seemed to shake, telling her that the fighting was getting intense. She glanced around at the ruins, wondering about what had happened before hearing a goat. Though she looked calm, she was outraged on the inside when a man looking part goat came out of nowhere and jumped onto a nearby building, breaking part of it off. Robin tried to have the man come down, but he only seemed to care about killing her. She ended the conversation by making six arms appear and twist the man's body around. She picked up the piece of ruin before staring back at the beaten man.
"Such tragedy." she said before continuing on her way.
-Another section of Upper Yard-
A Shandian warrior was dropped to the ground after being beaten by the priest Gedatsu. The spider-haired priest was sucking in his lips and grunting before hearing what sounded like crying nearby and was a little surprised to see a strange animal walking upright and talking.
"Where are you guys?!" cried Chopper as he walked by calling out the name of his friends. "I don't even know where I am? Maybe I'm fated to die here. I wonder if I'll see Heaven? Oh! I guess I'm already here!" he cried before looking up and around in confusion. "This is weird. How'd I get here?" Hey," he cried out with a smile. "Maybe I made it here first! I bet the others will be surprised!" Chopper kept on talking and looking around, not seeing Gedatsu looking at him.
'A raccoon-dog?'
-Zoro and Gin-
Gin was calmly walking behind Zoro as he lead the way through Upper Yard, having given up trying to tell the swordsman that he was probably leading them in circles. Zoro only mumbled about how he needed to get stronger while thinking back to his fight back in Whiskey Peak, and the move he has been trying to develop. The Flying Blade Attack! They kept on walking before hearing a bird call and stopped when Zoro dealt with it in one blow.
"Not good enough." Zoro muttered before walking on.
"I'm telling you, we're lost." Gin said, not caring about the giant bird falling to the ground.
"We're not lost. I remember the map. We go to the right." Zoro replied. Gin sighed while facepalming before hearing a weak goat call. They looked to see an Enforcer begging for his life, only for a gunshot to be heard and the man to fall dead. The two Straw Hats didn't bat an eye as another man came out into view, his eyes covered by a strange hat.
"So, you two are Blue Sea Dwellers." said Braham as he twirled his pistols.
"What of it?" Gin asked, ready to reach for his own pistol in case things went south.
"We've been told by another one of you with a straw hat that you all are trying to ring the golden bell of our people." said Braham.
"That's what Luffy plans on doing." Zoro replied, his hand on one of his blades. "Here to stop us?"
"Actually, I'm here to work with you." said Braham before lowering his head and aiming at them. "But I also have orders to kill you should you try to betray us."
"Heh. Just don't get in our way." Zoro smirked.
-On the Going Merry-
"SANJI!" screamed the crew as Sanji stood there, charred black with smoke rolling off his body. He was in a daze before falling onto his back, his eye rolled into his head and showing white while the rest of the crew gathered around him.
"Sanji! Wake up!" Usopp shouted in panic while shaking his body. While the rest of the crew was gathered around their fallen friend, Gan Fall was glaring at their 'guest'.
"Such a rude mortal. I hadn't even come here to attack anyone." smirked the man.
"Then why are you here?!" Gan Fall asked with a hateful glare.
"Is that any way to speak to me? We haven't seen each other in six long years. Right? Former God, Gan Fall!" Enel said with a grin.
A/N: I'm ashamed to admit it, but I need some help. Anyone want to submit some ideas for situations? PM me please.
