Laki was speeding down the Milky Road, hoping to catch up with her fellow warriors. The bag of Vearth that Aisa cherished was slung over her shoulder after she recollected earlier. A nagging thought was hanging onto her mind as she sped on.

'Where is everyone?' she thought. She hadn't seen any trace of either side at all. No Shandians. No Enforcers. No Priests. Not even any of the Blue-Sea Dwellers. She could hear the fighting and explosions earlier, but now she would only hear the sounds of the forests. 'Something's not right. Has one side been wiped out alrea-' Her thoughts ceased when a shadown suddenly fell over her. Everything seemed to slow down as she turned her gaze skyward, only to see a pair of golden eyes looking down at her. She felt her blood freeze when the sight of fangs bigger than her presented herself, a scream trying to make it's way out of her throat before everything faded to darkness.

-On the Straw Hats ship-

Aisa was huddled next to Conis as she cried her eyes out, the vanishing voices terrifying her to no end. She couldn't tell friend from foe, but it didn't matter to her. What scared her the most was that the voices were being snuffed out by another that was speeding through the forest. She didn't want to know who or what it was, but they were scaring her. The others on the ship weren't fairing any better. They didn't know anything other than what Aisa told them, and they couldn't just up and leave the ship unguarded and fallen Straw Hats to go and find out what was happening. All they could do was wait at the promised spot they had arrived at and hope for the best for their friends.

"This sucks." Johnny muttered, earning a nod from Yosaku as the two of them just stared at the island while leaning against the starboard railing.

"What's with you two?" Valerie asked the two of them as she and Alvida walked towards them.

"We're bored." they muttered in unison.

"We've been watching the island for anyone that might come this way, but only these guys showed up two minutes ago." Yosaku said as he pointed at the Sea Cloud beneath the ship, showing the two common enforcers floating there.

"Compared to the fat ones, these two were two easy." Johnny complained.

"Be glad. It could've been worse." Valerie said as she stared out at Upper Yard. "Enel could attack us with what we saw before." Yosaku and Johnny paled at the thought before becoming more alert, swords drawn. Their knees were shaking as bad as Usopp's usually do when faced with danger, despite the hardened looks they were giving.

"WE ARE ON GUARD!" they stated in unison.

"Kyahaha! That's the spirit!" Valerie laughed. As they talked to each other, Pagaya approached Nami, who was standing next to the bow of the ship, her eyes on the figurehead.

"Worried about your friends?" he asked her. She could only sigh with a nod, her eyes not leaving the figurehead. "I'm sorry." he said.

"Don't be." she said with a forced smile. "Even when they're knocked down, they'd just get right back up and pound whoever's in their way." It didn't show, but Pagaya was smiling under his thick beard. And that smile was quickly wiped off when he and everyone else noticed someone stumbling out of the forest towards the edge and into view.

-Meanwhile-

Robin, Vivi, Grace, and Carue, along with their enforcer 'friend', were staring at the area around them in awe. Through Robin's expertise in archeology, they had arrived at their goal. The Golden City of Shandora.

"Meeeh! I've been here a few times, but it still looks pretty dang nice! For a crumbling city of ruins, anyway." the enforcer told them.

"If we have the time, I'm gonna come back and paint all this." Grace whispered to herself as they traversed the area. Robin looked at everything in awe, a genuine smile on her lips as her fingers glided across the ruins.

"No one ever comes here anymore, so it's safe to leave your injured friend here to rest." the enforcer explained as he gently placed Carue on the ground.

"Thank you for helping us." Vivi said with a smile.

"No worries." the man smiled back.

"Incredible." Robin whispered in awe. Everyone turned to her just as she ran off behind some ruins. They all got up and immediately joined her as she gazed at a Poneglyph.

"Oh yeah. There was this odd stone. Doesn't seem to crumble, and I can't make out what it says." the enforcer explained while scratching his head. Robin carefully read every word etched onto the stone before turning away from it.

"Something up? Grace asked her.

"Indeed." she answered as she walked deeper into the ruins, the others quietly following. She spoke of the ancient stone's words, the strange railcart tracks set up around the area, the absense of gold, and how missing Poneglyph that should be in the center of the city, where Giant Jack was protruding from.

"I don't know about the stone and those words," the enforcer said with a smile. "But the tracks and missing gold-" he said before he felt a horrible pain eminating from his chest. His eyes were wide, though were slowly losing life, as he looked down at himself, with the others staring in horror. Blood was seeping from a large wound in his chest, which now had a long golden pole sticking out of it and into the ground. "G...God...E-Enel..."

"To think that one of my enforcers would help an enemy." spoke a voice before the pole glowed, sending smoke out of the front and back of the enforcer, causing the poor man to scream in agony. His screams were immediately drowned out when his entire body was sparking with electricity. His body shook and quaked, his clothes burning to ash, and his skin started to char.

"STOP THIS!" came Vivi's cry as she found the one responsible sitting on a nearby piece of ruins, his arm stretched out towards the man that was being shocked to death.

"Stop?" Enel asked with a frown. "And why should I stall judgement on one who has commited a sin against me?" He then turned up the voltage, causing the poor enforcer to smoke and tremble before his body couldn't take it anymore and began to crumble. When Enel finally relented, there was nothing of the poor man except a pile of blackened dust and blood on the ground, leaving the others visibly shaken.

"W-Why?" Grace stuttered. She had seen people killed before. She even had a hand many times in Baroque Works. But they were either quick, or silent. She'd never seen someone die like this before.

"Simple. He was one of my enforcers." Enel answered, a small smile on his lips. "And since he was helping you, it simply means that he was a traitor, and was justly punished." Grace wanted to scream at him the reason why he turned against him, but Enel merely smirked at her. "And if you're going to say that he only turned because of something you call 'Color's Trap', then you need not bother."

"Wha?! How did you-" Vivi began, only to be cut off by Enel's laughing.

"There's nothing on this island that I don't know about. After all, I am God." he answered with a grin before it fell to a frown as his gaze shifted to the side. "Hmm?"

'What's he looking at?' Robin thought as Enel stood up, though fumbled slightly in pain from Luffy's punch.

"Seems a maggot has made it to the edge of Upper Yard." he said before lifting his arm to the sky. They could only watch as he glowed before a burst of electricity shot out into the sky.

-Going Merry-

Pagaya and Conis, along with Valerie and Alvida, were checking on the man that had collapsed moments ago.

"Hey! Are you alright?!" Pagaya asked in panic as he tried shaking the man awake. They carefully set the man up against a tree as the man stirred awake. "You're one of old enforcers, right? What happened to you?!"

"Yes...that's right." the man wheezed. He looked like he went ten rounds with the Monster Quartret.

"What's happened to them?" Conis asked. She and many others always wondered what happened to Gan Fall's +600 enforcers since Enel took over 6 years ago.

"They've...we've completed the work God Enel tasked us with...after decimating us years ago." the man explained. "The...the Ark, Maxim, is finished!"

"Ark?" Valerie said.

"Maxim?" Alvida asked. The man coughed up blood, causing the others to panic.

"What's going on you guys?!" Nami yelled up to them.

"Listen!" the man coughed as he grabbed Pagaya's shirt, tears in his eyes. "You must warn everyone! Angel Island, no, all of Skypiea...God Enel...is going to return it to the Blue Sea! ALL OF IT WILL BE DESTROYED!" The others looked on in shock before the sky lit up above them.

"Shit!"

"That light!" Johnny and Yosaku yelled.

"IT'S GOD ENEL!" Aisa screamed in terror.

"GUYS! GET BACK ON THE SHIP! HURRY!" Nami yelled. Alvida and Valerie jumped for the ship, while Conis, Pagaya, and the ex-enforcer stayed.

"Father! We have to go!" Conis pleaded to her father, who hadn't moved as the man was shaking him by his shirt.

"ENEL HAD PLANNED TO DESTROY THIS LAND FROM THE START!" the man yelled.

"FATHER! PLEASE! WE MUST-" Conis begged before Pagaya shoved her off Upper Yard. Time seemed to slow down for her as she watched her father getting farther away. She vainly reached for him as she fell before he was engulfed in a beam of light.

"FAAAAAATTTTHHEEEEEERRRRR!"
