"Hey there." I answered the call in my cluttered office at the Ranger Headquarters in the Orange Islands, the ringing Xtransceiver disrupting the quiet hum of the computer.

On the other end of the line, Hobbes' voice carried a sense of urgency. "Commander Josh, this is Hobbes, butler of the Aether family. I hope I'm not interrupting."

I glanced at the scattered papers on my desk, my brow furrowing slightly. "No worries, Hobbes. What's up?"

There was a pause on the line before Hobbes began to share the concerning news. "It's about Chairwoman Lusamine. She's been taken by Nihilego, and we can't guarantee a successful reopening of the Ultra Wormhole."

Concern flashed in my eyes as I leaned forward, propping my elbows on the cluttered desk. "Nihilego? That's not good. What's the current situation?"

"Unfortunately, we're facing challenges. We need Champion Ash's help. He has a unique connection with Ultra Beasts." The butler's response carried the weight of the situation.

"Yeah, I've seen him handle Ultra Beasts before. What exactly do you need from him?" I asked with a thoughtful nod, indicating my understanding.

"We require his assistance in reopening the Ultra Wormhole. Time is of the essence, Commander," Hobbes explained, the urgency evident in his voice.

My expression turned serious as I considered the gravity of the situation. "Got it. We'll get Ash on the case. You can count on us."

"Thank you, Commander. We appreciate your swift response," Hobbes expressed gratitude over the phone.

Determination settled in my features. "I'll make sure Ash understands the urgency. We'll do everything we can to bring Madame Lusamine back safely."

"Your cooperation means a lot to us. Please convey our gratitude to Champion Ash."

"We're a team, Hobbes." I waved his thanks away. "We'll get this sorted out. Anything else you need?"

"That's all for now. Thank you again, Commander." Hobbes assured me.

I gave a reassuring nod, my mind already in motion. "Take care, Hobbes. We'll be in touch." I hung up, turning to Sarah with a weight on my shoulders.

Sarah looked at me concerned. "What's wrong, Josh?"

I rubbed my temples. "It's the Alola Islands. Lusamine, the Chairwoman of the Aether Foundation, got abducted by Nihilego. They can't guarantee they can reopen the Ultra Wormhole."

"Nihilego?" Sarah frowned. "That's serious. What's going on over there?"

I leaned back, weariness in my eyes. "Lusamine didn't follow Ash's advice. She kept pushing with the Ultra Beasts investigation. Now, she's been kidnapped and dragged through an Ultra Wormhole. The Aether Foundation wants Ash to go there and clean up their mess."

Sarah sighed. "Again? We never catch a break. It's always one mess after the other."

"Yeah, and now they're calling Ash for damage control." I frowned. "We need to act fast."

"You know Ash will do everything he can to help," she assured me supportively. She was truly the best wife a man could ask for. "But it's a lot on his shoulders."

I grimaced. "I know, Sarah. It just never stops." I picked up the Xtransceiver again and dialed Ash's number. "Hey, Ash."

Ash answered cheerfully. "Josh! What's up, man?"

"We've got a situation," I informed him seriously. "Lusamine, in the Alola Islands, she's been abducted by Nihilego. The Aether Foundation needs your help."

Ash expression shifting, a frown creasing his forehead. "What? Nihilego? Are they sure?"

I nodded; my face etched with concern. "Yeah, it's serious. They can't guarantee they can reopen the Ultra Wormhole."

Ash cursed softly, his cheerful demeanor evaporating. "Alright, I'm on my way. I learned a few tricks from the Ultra World from Poipole. We will need to go to the Altar of the Sunne, in Vast Poni Canyon, on Poni Island. From there, we should be able to open a portal to the Ultra World."

I clenched my fist in determination. "Got it. I'll head there right away. Anything else?"

Ash turned to me, his gaze firm. "Bring Sarah, Rose, and Rodrick with you. We'll need everyone on this."

"I'm on it. We'll handle it." I assured him resolute, jaw set.

"Thanks, Josh. Be careful." Ash nodded appreciative, offering a small, supportive smile, before ending the call.

As I put down the Xtransceiver, I exhaled deeply, my thoughts racing. I turned to face my wife, Sarah, who looked at me with concern. "Ash wants us to meet him at the Altar of the Sunne, in Vast Poni Canyon. We need to bring Rose and Rodrick with us."

"I'm on it," Sarah assured me, standing up to go get our bags ready.

I picked up my Xtransceiver, scrolling through the contacts until I found Rose's name. Pressing the call button, I waited anxiously for her to answer. After a few rings, she picks up, her voice filled with warmth. "Hey, Josh! What's up?"

"Rose, we've got a situation," I sighed. "Lusamine's been abducted by Nihilego, and Ash needs us at the Altar of the Sunne in Vast Poni Canyon. We need you and Rodrick with us."

I can hear a muffled voice in the background, and Rodrick's unmistakable curses reach my ears. They're probably in the middle of something, it was no secret that those two had their one-year dating anniversary last month, but duty calls. Rose answered with determination. "We're on it, Josh. We'll meet you at the altar."

"Thanks, Rose. Be careful." I smiled at her gratefully.

We exchanged a few more words, and as the call ends, a mix of relief and worry washes over me. The pieces are in motion, and I can only hope that we'll be in time to help Lusamine and deal with the Ultra Beast threat. Turning to Sarah, who's gathering supplies for our mission, I share the news. "Rose and Rodrick are on their way. We'll meet them at the altar."

Sarah nodded. "Let's hope we can sort this out. I hate seeing Ash troubled like this."

As we prepare to leave for Poni Island, the weight of responsibility lingers. We may not catch a break, but we've got each other. And in this unpredictable world of Legendary Pokémon and Ultra Beasts, that bond is our greatest strength.

Upon arriving at the Altar of the Sunne, the mystical ambiance of the place hit me like a wave. The staircase stretched endlessly before us, each step revealing both the beauty and trepidation that awaited at the summit. The holes in the sides of the stairs added an element of danger, making the ascent feel like a journey into the unknown. Rose and Rodrick, already present, exchanged determined glances with us, a shared understanding of the gravity of the mission.

At the top, the three staircases awaited, with the paths narrowing and the surroundings growing increasingly enigmatic. The Sunne symbol, etched on pedestals, greeted us, a silent witness to the cosmic energies that pulsed through this sacred space. As we advanced, the landscape transformed into a rhombus-like shape, the central area bearing the imposing Sunne symbol. The left and right pathways opened to stone islands surrounded by water, a delicate dance of elements that mirrored the celestial forces at play.

The small stream connecting to two spires, leading to a colossal circular door perched on a massive rock, emanated an otherworldly energy. I turned to my wife and whispered, "It's always awe-inspiring, isn't it?"

Sarah nodded in agreement. "These places remind me of the vastness of the Pokémon World. But right now, our focus is on what needs to be done."

With a collective breath, we approached the center, the anticipation thick in the air. At the summit of the Altar of the Sunne, the air crackled with anticipation, mirroring the electric energy that surrounded Ash and his formidable Pokémon companions. Pikachu, perched on his shoulder, exuded a sense of readiness, while Mega Charizard X and Mega Pidgeot stood as majestic guardians, their imposing presence only adding to the gravity of the situation.

To anyone else, the sight would have them trembling with fear, but to me it only brought deep relief. I grinned at them, calm and ready for what's to come. "Look who's ready for action."

Ash turned towards us, a familiar spark of determination in his eyes. Despite achieving Champion status in the Orange Islands and donning a unique style, when it came to missions, Ash still paid homage to his ranger origins. His ranger captain uniform, a nod to his roots and the duties that shaped him, warmed my heart with pride.

Ash greeted us with a smile, before frowning in seriousness. "Team, we've got a mission. Time to get Lusamine back and deal with this Ultra Beast situation."

The steps echoed as Sarah, Rose, Rodrick, and I climbed to join Ash. Rose was the first one to reply, "I brought my A-game. Let's do this!"

Rodrick cracked his knuckles. "Ultra Beasts won't know what hit 'em."

The camaraderie was palpable as we stood together, ready to face the unknown. Beyond the circular door lay the heart of the challenge, but with Ash at the helm and our united front, there was an unspoken confidence that we would emerge victorious.

"The Ultra World might hold mysteries, but we all have some tricks under our sleeves," Sarah smirked.

I placed a hand on Ash's shoulder. "Let's bring Lusamine home."
