A/N

To all those wondering if the last chapter meant that I was returning to this story and updating more, and the answer is yes.

2548 B.C.

It had been ten years since Persephone was saved by the primordial Nyx and went under her care. Ten years that the Titan Kronos thought his daughter dead, but no, that very daughter was in the void training for when she was needed. A day she knew would come, for it had been foretold by Lady Chaos herself. All Persephone knew was that one day she would play a part in saving the entire world if not the entire universe.

*Thunk thunk thunk* Persephone watched as her last three arrows landed in the bullseye almost in sync with each other, which was possible due to her training for the past five years with a bow almost non stop. She needed to work on her swordsmanship a lot more but currently the bow is what she favored, but she could manage with her short swords. Her bow was forged of Stygian Iron , inlaid with Imperial Gold vines stretching down the bow limb and Olympian Silver towards the top. A gift from Nyx on her sixth birthday. Her two swords were twin kopides with one being made of Olympian Silver with Imperial Gold inlays of a snake running the length of the sword, the other sword what Imperial Gold with Olympian Silver inlay of a horse rearing on its hind legs in front of a crescent moon. Persephone was just about to let loose another arrow towards the target when Nyx walked in, slowly letting the bowstring return to normal she put the arrow back in the quiver and walked to meet Nyx. Persephone tensed as she felt Nyx's slender arms wrap around her small frame. While Nyx had raised Persephone almost from birth, she never really hugged the person who had taught her everything she knew about life. She could still remember the first time Nyx had hugged her, she was five years old and had just woken up from a nightmare about her mother. She screamed so loud that Nyx had come running into the room just to see the five year old sitting on her bed sobbing until Nyx had come around the bed, pulling her towards her and resting her head on Persephone's while she sobbed into her shoulder, and since then Nyx had hugged her every so often but recently it had been happening more and more. Tentatively Persephone wrapped her arms around Nyx smiling.

"How's training going, μικρό πουλάκι?" Nyx asked with a playful smile on her face.

"It's going great, I'm going to be the best archer ever." Persephone exclaimed her face lighting up in excitement.

"I'm glad you are happy, but I think I have something that you will like even more." Nyx said laughing softly "Would you like to check in on your father?"

"Yes, Yes, Yes. Please ?" Persephone started to bounce with excitement.

Nyx gestured for her to follow her till they entered. A large dark room and once they sat down on the couch that was there, Nyx waved her hand and out of the darkness a image formed, and in that image Persephone could see her father Kronos walking into a dark cave.

Kronos walked into the cave, he could see the intricate designs along the walls and arches making up the walls of the cave and the fortress inside the cave. Barely illuminated by torches on the walls, but it didn't matter Kronos knew the way by heart. So he kept walking winding his way through the intricate hallways that make up the fortress. Any other person would have gotten lost but not him, he had spent too much time playing in these halls as a child, he knew every detail of them. After a while of walking he emerged in the throne room, where his mother Gaia was sitting on her throne waiting for her favorite son. Rising from her seat Gaia spoke softly, "Kronos, my child, why have you come here. You need to be out there ending this war with your father."

"I know mother, it's just he's too strong. We need your assistance." Kronos told Gaia.

"I don't care just end this already so I can safely spend time with my grandchild, I miss her dearly." Gaia said almost like a command.

"Mother, He never told you what he did?" Kronos said, getting a weird look from Gaia. "Ouranos snuck into the fortress ten years ago and stabbed both Selene and Persephone and killed them, we do not know when or if they will reform."

The ground shook with heavy tremors as Gaia whipped around to look at her son, "HE DID WHAT" she screamed at the top of her lungs, power rolling off her in waves threatening to end all life on earth. Demonstrating exactly why she was in the top 3 strongest primordial beings in the universe. Kronos thought the cave itself was going to crumble in on itself with all the shaking when all of a sudden everything stopped.

"Mother" Kronos asked wearily.

"I can not get involved in this war, Chaos has forbidden it. I have been told that you and your father must deal with it yourself. I believe that is why Ouranos would do something so bold, to hurt you and laugh at me, knowing I can't attack him." Gaia said, speaking calmly now. "But if he thinks that he can just harm my grand-daughter and I won't do anything, then he is a fool."

"So you will help?" Kronos asked.

"I can not help you but i can provide you with some help." Gaia said, standing up and walking towards the wall furthest from the door Kronos had entered from. When she got within five feet of the wall it crumbled, revealing another hallway Kronos had never seen before. Following his mother down corridor after corridor, Kronos found himself on a balcony overlooking a large grassy hill.

"Why are we here?" Kronos questioned.

Gaia didn't respond, merely just smirked and waved her hand towards the ground in front of them. The earth started shaking again but it was mostly coming from the hill. Slowly the earth making up the large hill started falling away and it was then that Kronos saw what she was talking about. Standing large and tall in the distance, Kronos could see a figure. A huge winged monster, whose head reached high in the sky, from the waist up he looked like a normal man, with snake coils below, and fire flashing from his eyes.

"What is that?" Kronos asked with curiosity.

"That is Typhon, a creation of mine, my power mixed with Tartarus's. Almost as powerful as Ouranos. Take him and his children, the Hydra, an immortal being with six heads that grow two back when one is cut off, Colchian Drakon the most powerful drakon in existence, and the Chimera, a fire-breathing monster with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail. With them you should be able to take on Ouranos." Gaia explained with pride, before turning to her son with a solemn look on her face "Tell me, when he stuck down Persephone did he also kill the lion I gave you for her?"

"No, I had the lion with me at the time." Kronos said, his head hanging low.

"Good take it with you, it's called the Nemean Lion, its fur is indestructible and impenetrable." Gaia informed Kronos. "It's why I gave it to Persephone, to protect her always."

"Thank you mother, I will gather my generals and we shall march tonight." Kronos said bowing to his mother and leaving to fetch his most trusted titans.

Within moments Kronos was back in his throne room, reaching behind his back with a flourish he summoned his scythe to his hand and slammed it on the ground radiating his power and summoning his generals to him. A few seconds later they all flashed in around him all bowing on one knee. All waiting to hear why they were summoned so suddenly. "Brothers, it's time. Today I went to our mother for aid, and she did more than deliver. Tonight we march, tonight we end this war that has been so hard fought for our family, tonight we get this victory, tonight we start living, and TONIGHT THEY DIE! ARE YOU WITH ME?" Kronos hollered towards his family, to which they all started cheering and stomping their feet.
