"Is it harem or PerZoe?" Umm I haven't actually figured out the pairing, I think it's going to be with one of the three I have tagged but I haven't decided. It isn't going to be a harem though.

Still the very same night, in the pouring rain, shielded and hidden by a dark dome of pure energy sat an angry goddess, an even angrier primordial, and 12 partially immortal hunters. Artemis glared at the woman, who had to Nyx herself, angry that she had been lied to for 100 years. Nyx glared right back at the Goddess who had the audacity to pull a weapon on Persephone when she should be bowing before her.

"Nyx, maybe instead of glaring at my lady you could explain what Lady Chaos said." Persephone felt like she was watching over children, and only one of them was younger than her.

"Fine. When we took Persephone all those years ago, Chaos told me that in the future there will be a war that will determine whether or not any life will survive on this planet. That if Persephone wasn't ready then all will die. Mortal, monster, Titan, Goddess, or even us Primordial beings are in danger of being wiped out. Chaos foretold that the only thing that will stand in the way will be her. That's why we trained her for over a thousand years and we entrusted her to you and your hunters. She will need all of you during that time." Nyx looked towards Artemis gauging her reaction.

Artemis was surprised to say the least. "What threat could be so great that not even the Primordial Gods will survive?"

Nyx looked at her with a heavy sigh, "That's the problem, Not even Chaos knows. Chaos can't see it, it's like it has been hidden to her."

Artemis looked worried by hearing that, a threat that Chaos can't see. "But how can we trust her, she's the daughter of Kronos."

Nyx, without hesitating, gave a glare towards the maiden Goddess. "Then why do you trust your own father, your uncles and aunts? Aren't they all sons and daughters of Kronos, they aren't much different then their eldest sister, just a different Titaness mother. You yourself are the daughter of Titaness Leto. You guys go by Gods and Goddesses and she recognizes that she was born from two Titans, so she would be a Titan, but you two have something in common. Your love and compassion for these huntresses, they are your family. I sent Persephone to you because I knew you would eventually accept her, invite her into your little family and keep my μικρό πουλάκι safe." Upon hearing that Zoë burst out in laughter.

Persephone would have glared a whole through her head if she could. "What's so funny?"

Zoë, still laughing so hard she is wheezing. "You're her 'Little Bird'?"

Without hesitation Persephone slapped Zoë on her chest, causing Zoë to laugh harder. Artemis, without even a glance at her huntresses, responded. "But why here, why my hunt? She could have gone into the demigod camp. Wouldn't she be safer with Chiron and the demigods."

"Possibly, but she was sent here for two reasons, one, the camp risks the attention of the rest of your Godly Council, and two, we wanted her to meet you. You are the closest thing in the godly world to her mother, Selene. You both deal with the moon, you the moon goddess, and her the moon titaness." Nyx didn't even blink, just stared directly at the goddess across from her.

"What if I don't want her here, what if I remove the blessing and cast her from my hunt?" Artemis almost growled back.

The night got darker, moon dimming, all the shadows being cast from the fire started stretching and bending around Nyx. Her aura was so immense that everyone started to feel like they were one second from being crushed under the weight of her anger. As shadows started gathering around Nyx, armour appeared from nowhere. A staff as dark as night in her right hand. As she raised the staff, a hand grabbed her wrist. Whipping around in anger all Nyx saw was Persephone standing there, one hand on her wrist and a disappointed look on her face. Within an instant the aura, darkness, and shadows all dissipated. Nyx turned and glared at Artemis. "You best thank Persephone, she is the only reason you are not in the void right now, but we told you this, all of you, because she trusted you. Now if you decide you want to break that trust then fine, Artemis, I will have my mother come down here and wipe all of your memories, and I will take Persephone back with me. Withdrawing from the threat that approaches you and you will all die when the threat comes."

"Just what do you expect me to do, she's been lying the entire time."

"What does that have to do with anything? The only lie she told was that her parents were mortals. And I've already explained to you about how you, yourself are descended from titans, and what do I expect you to do? I expect you to continue on with what you would do before, with the knowledge that Persephone trusted you to know this secret. A secret that even Chaos herself told her not to tell anyone." Nyx spoke with a pointed glare, one that promised pain. Nyx cut Artemis off before she could speak. " No honestly other than her parents and her specific reason behind joining the hunt, what has she lied about, she didn't lie during the hunts, the traveling, her getting close to the people in your hunt wasn't a lie. The trust between her and the rest of the hunt wasn't something that came because you thought she was a mortal or anything to do with why she was looking for you. That all came because of what she did after joining and that stuff hasn't changed. She is still the same girl that came here 100 years ago and the same girl that woke up yesterday and went hunting with all of you. Nothing has changed except that you have been trusted with this information."

Before Artemis could speak she was cut off again, this time by Maia. "No, it changes nothing about how we feel about her. It changes everything about how we hunt. I'm gonna be expecting more out of you, Persephone than anyone else. And before you say anything My Lady, remember what you told us hundreds years ago, 'The hunt is for any maiden who needs it, regardless of who they are or where they come from', so i don't know about you my lady but almost everyone here has something that they don't talk about and for good reasons. Everyone has their secrets and they are not obligated to tell them, Persephone and Nyx told us that Persephone has been with the primordial beings, so she wasn't involved with the titanomachy or the war between the gods and titans. She is our sister and we will not turn our backs on her, no matter what."

Persephone grinned while hearing what Maia had to say about the whole thing, looking around towards the rest of the hunt while Artemis did the same, seeing all the huntresses nodding in agreement with their lieutenant. Reaching over, Persephone grabbed Maia and Zoë and pulled them into a tight hug.

Artemis spoke with a deep sigh. "Fine, but Persephone you are going to have to keep that gold eye hidden around all demigods or gods that we run into during hunts. This is now a secret that the hunt will be keeping, to our deaths. No one here may speak a word about this to anyone. Doing so will be considered as breaking the oath of loyalty you have sworn to myself and the hunt. Now girls, all of you head to bed, we are hunting a pack of hellhounds in the morning. You to Persephone." As all the girls headed back to their tents, all that was left by the fire was Nyx and Artemis.

Nyx looked Artemis right in the eyes, nodded her head towards her. "Thank you, take care of her, will you? She has a tendency to be a little reckless."

When Artemis nodded in agreement, Nyx disappeared into the darkness, leaving Artemis there alone. Not knowing what else to do, Artemis vanished in a silver light.

Persephone ran through the woods fast and silently. Perfectly avoiding all fallen leaves on the ground, she was hunting some hellhounds that had run from a monster camp the hunt had taken out a couple days ago. There were only a few that escaped so while Artemis had gone to Olympus for a meeting before doing her godly duties, Persephone, Zoë, Maia, and Phoebe were out hunting. She knew that her sisters had probably already handled the other two, but this one was being really sneaky. Tracking it was getting harder and harder.

As she entered a clearing she saw what might have been the last person on earth that she would want to see. Orion was standing there staring right at her, a sick smile on his face. Persephone paused for a second, hesitating.

"Ahh, if it isn't little Persephone, the huntress with the glare, named after the goddess of spring. " Orion was walking towards her as he spoke, his voice sending a shiver up her spine. "Oh, that look you give me, like you hate my guts. I've been meaning to whip that look off your face."

Lunging forwards, Orion caught her off guard. Slamming into her, knocking her bow out of her hands, he grabbed her by the throat and slammed her against a tree with enough force to make her vision go blurry. Persephone struggled to pry the iron grip from her neck but she just wasn't strong enough, all her strength sealed in her necklace. Leaning forwards to whisper in her ear, "Do you know how long I had to wait for you to separate from the other hunters, all that waiting has gotten me a little excited. Maybe I should use you to relieve some of that excitement huh. I don't have to worry about Artemis, she all the way on Olympus isn't she, and I don't know if you will even be pure enough to remain in the hunt."

Hearing these words Persephone started to panic, praying to Artemis to come, but she knew that wasn't going to happen any time soon. Nyx was out of the question, she could only hope that one of her sisters would happen to catch up. Tears started welling up in her eyes as she could feel his hand running up her leg, she was terrified about what was about to happen. She was helpless as she could feel him start to lift her clothes off her. When all of a sudden the weight on the throat lessened and she could see him stumble back, an arrow sticking out of his shoulder. Persephone looked towards the tree line to see Maia standing there, another arrow ready to go, looking back towards her attacker, with speed she could barely see Orion had a knife thrown right towards Maia. Maia, not able to react to the speed either, didn't react to the knife until it was sticking out of her chest.

Persephone didn't realize she was moving until after she had grabbed one of Orion's knives from his waist. The first stab struck true to its mark, slicing his throat open. Preceding with a stab to the chest, she just kept stabbing and stabbing, screaming the entire time. When her arm started to go numb and hurt she just kept stabbing. She didn't even know how long she was there slamming the knife into Orion's dead body. Eventually Artemis, Phoebe, and Zoë showed up. Pulling the screaming, crying, flailing Persephone from Orion. Kneeling on the cold ground Phoebe and Zoë held the blood soaked Persephone as they all mourned the loss of their lieutenant. Artemis kneeled down next to her fallen huntress, who had died the minute the knife made contact. Placing one hand on her head and a hand outstretched to Orion's body she chanted softly and both bodies disappeared into mist rising up. Seeing the confused looks from Zoë and Phoebe she spoke softly towards them. "Maia will be remembered forever in the stars, a message to what happens when a man tries to take advantage of one of my huntresses. Phoebe, Zoë, we need to get her back to the camp. We will deal with who will be the next lieutenant tomorrow."
