Marinette was in her room listening and watching a music video on a computer called 'Big Bang' by Clara Nightingale. Marinette herself was trying to mimic Clara Nightingale's dance moves.

Don't you stop dancing to the music?

Baby! Yeah, it's like a miracle.

Don't you stop dancing to the music,

Music, oh, it's getting physical!

Don't you stop dancing to the music?

Marinette mimicked all the dance moved perfectly except for the handstand walkover when she ended up falling on her back.

Alec then appeared on the screen when the song ended. "And that was Clara Nightingale's hit single 'Big Bang' for us!"

"Wow! That girl is incredible!" said Tikki as Marinette sat up and leaned on her desk.

"I love her!" said Marinette. "She's totally passionate about her art!"

"Clara, in just a few short months, you've become an international sensation with your ultra-unique singing and style," said Alec as Clara danced. "Apparently, you even sing and dance in your sleep! Do you ever stop?"

True to form, Clare continued to sing.

Never, you see.

Dancing and singing are everything to me.

And I'm happy to share the joy of song and dance

To the amazing people of France!

"See that, Tikki?" Marinette smiled. "She's a true artist!"

"You've come to Paris to film the video for your next song, which is gonna be titled 'Miraculous'," Alec noted, making Marinette gasp.

Clare continued to sing.

I really admire and adore

Ladybug and Cat Noir.

Lord Sprite, as well

I am so excited I could simply yell.

A homage to them, I wanted to pay

Because they inspire me every single day!

Tikki flew over to Marinette and waved her hand in front of her face.

Marinette shrieked with delight. "She's gonna be doing a song about me! I mean—Ladybug! Oh! I'm so excited I could…" She then fell backwards off the chair. "…faint!"

"Auditions will be held at the Grand Palais Hotel, is that right?" Alec asked. "A little birdie told me that you already found your Cat Noir. Care to share the good news?"

Clare sang once again.

My lips are sealed,

But soon, he'll be revealed.

We must still cast Ladybug, Sprite and extras, by the way.

So come on out and audition today!

Marinette then heard her phone buzz and ran across the floor, tripping

(Marinette's phone buzzes. She dashed over towards it, tripping onto the floor in the process, and answered it.

Alya then appeared on the screen with Mylène, Juleka, Alix and Rose standing around behind her. "Marinette, did you hear that? All us girls are heading over to audition, and you're coming, too! So don't go pulling one of your Marinette specials on us, okay?"

"And miss my chance to meet Clara Nightingale in the flesh?" said Marinette. "No way! I'll meet you there."

"See ya!" said Alya.

Marinette entered the call and went to grab her purse from the chair.

"You're not auditioning for the role of Ladybug, are you?" Tikki asked.

Marinette held out her hands to let Tikki rest in them. "Of course not! We just wanna have some fun as extras in the video, that's all. I'd never do anything that could reveal my secret identity."

"All right then, Marinette," said Tikki and flew up, kissing Marinette on the nose. "I'm proud of you!"

Jack was with Lady P in their secret hideout; they had also watched Clare Nightingale.

"This could be a problem," said Lady P as she looked at Jack. "What if Clare chooses Marinette and Adrien to play the roles of Ladybug and Cat Noir and you, for that matter."

"You really think anyone is going to choose someone who's blind to participate in a music video," Jack scoffed.

Lady P narrowed her eyes. "You don't need to see in order to dance."

"Jill does have a point," said Nooroo, floating up to Jack. "The concern is real. Our powers do mask your identities, even your friends and family, despite the fact that you look and sound similar to that of your civilian form. However, that illusion is shattered if someone makes the connection."

"Look, both Marinette and Adrien know better than to take part in a music video that could very well blow their identities," said Jack confidently.

Adrien was currently in Gabriel's atelier, face-to-face with his father, who had a new marketing scheme. Which, unfortunately, was taking part in Clare Nightingale's music video as Cat Noir.

"It will be an excellent promotion for the upcoming opening of our stores in Korea and China," said Gabriel as he continued to work on his designs. "You don't have a choice."

Nathalie then presented Adrien with a folded-up imitation Cat Noir costume, with a face mask and collar bell.

Adrien gasped in alarm upon seeing it. "But Father—"

Gabriel continued paging through exotic fashion designs on his computer. "I've been designing Clara's costumes since she started out. She was very pleased with my humble suggestion of using you. She's only seen you in our advertisements, but she does admire you a lot. I'm hoping you won't let us down."

"Of course not, Father," said Adrien dejectedly.

At the Grand Palais, a huge group of people, mostly girls, began to audition for Clara Nightingale's video.

"Extras on the left; auditionees for Ladybug and Lord Sprite on the right," said a stagehand.

Adrien was currently in the dressing trailer, putting on the Cat Noir costume, which, unfortunately, was very realistic. The only thing he hadn't put on was the mask.

"Great choice of fabric! And these seams!" said Plagg as he examined the costume. "Amazing craftsmanship!"

"There's no way I can wear this!" said Adrien.

"Yeah, I've always found that little bell so ridiculous!" Plagg agreed. "Then again, the costume is what you really wanted deep down, isn't it?"

"No, Plagg. I mean that everyone's gonna realise that I'm the real Cat Noir!"

"No way! People are blind!" said Plagg dismissively.

Adrien then heard a knock on the door. "You ready, Adrien?"

"Aah, uh, coming! Just a sec!" said anxiously and looked at Plagg worriedly. "If they see me with this mask on, they're all gonna recognise me for sure!"

He hid the mask underneath a pile of folded fabric on a shelf. "I can't wear it!" He then made his way towards the door with resolve. "Right. Now I'm gonna try to act as lame as I possibly can. Hopefully, they'll have no choice but to replace me."

He opened the door and immediately gasped when he saw a vast array of people had gathered in the main area. There were two very long lines on either side of the stage, which was in the middle of the area, one side for extras and the other for auditions for Ladybug and Sprite.

Clara Nightingale was currently on stage speaking through a star-adorned microphone, greeting the auditionees.

Thank you for coming, all of you!

This is like a dream come true!

Together, we'll all dance and sing;

It's going to be awesome and amazing!

Marinette and the girls were currently in the extra line, looking rather excited.

"We're gonna be in Clara Nightingale's music video! This is humongous!" said Alya.

"I can't believe this is happening!" said Marinette, streaking with delight.

Clara then continued to sing before the audience.

And now, meet our rising star,

Adrien as Cat Noir!

Adrien then walked out towards the station, waving briefly. The extras react excitedly, Marinette gasping and Rose and Alya waving with raised arms. Adrien smiled nervously at the line and waved some more.

Jack gulped and looked down at Nooroo, who was hiding his jacket with a raised eye.

Marinette instantly waved back, and Adrien continued to make his way to the front of the stage, where Nathalie held a tablet with Gabriel on it.

"The costume fits you like a glove, as I knew it would," said Gable approvingly, but notice the lack of a mask. "But, where is your mask?"

"Uh, I couldn't find it anywhere," Adrien lied nervously.

"I'll take care of it!" said a stagehand and dashed off.

Clara then helped Adrien onto the stage.

It's no biggie; it's okay.

We don't need the mask for tryouts anyway.

She then turned to the Ladybug and Sprite attendees. "Come on!"

The first few ladybug and Sprite auditionees step forward, including strangely Lieutenant Roger. Sadly, the majority of them were rather inept. Clara didn't see any of them as adequate candidates, especially among the girls to the plug part of Ladybug. One of them was a little girl who simply stood there spinning a Hula Hoop around her waist.

"Didn't I tell you that Adrien looks a little bit like Cat Noir?" Alya whispered to Marinette.

"Unh, whatever! He's a thousand times more amazing than Cat Noir!" said Marinette.

More auditionees went on stage, and for some reason, Roger thought he would make a very good Ladybug. Another little girl just walked up to Adrien holding up a black cat, which meowed. It wasn't just the subpar Ladybug auditionees; those who wanted to play Sprite won't exactly Fred Astaire. One of them spun his cane around and accidentally hit his head with it.

Eventually, they went through every auditionee and still hadn't found their Ladybug or Sprite. Clara then looked at the extra line and got an idea. She quickly approached the table, grabbed a tray of Chouquettes, and carried it over to the extras.

You must be starving.

From all this waiting!

"Oh, look! She's coming in our direction!" said Marinette excitedly.

While carrying the tray, Clara deliberately tripped herself and tossed the tray in the air, falling to the floor. Many extras gasped, and Marinette didn't waste a second. She quickly rushed over to help her up but got a hug from her instead.

There you are! Here's a hug,

Because you are Ladybug!

Marinette's friends immediately gasped in shock.

Marinette, on the other hand, became anxious about the implication. "What?! I have no idea what you're talking about!"

Clara rose to her feet and held Marinette up, twirling her around.

You did what Ladybug would have, just the same.

Your heart is pure, like hers. What's your name?

"Uh, Ma—Marinette," she said, still not sure what had just happened.

Clara then suddenly went down on one knee and raised her arms.

Marinette! Say it's so!

Will you please play Ladybug in my video?

Marinette instantly put her hand over her mouth in shock.

"Yes! She'd be awesome!" Alya cheered.

"Go Marinette! You deserve it!" Rose encouraged.

Marinette turned and looked at Adrien on stage, envisioning dancing with him and sighed euphorically. She then glanced down at Tikki, who was looking at her with some concern.

Jack placed his hand on Marinette's shoulder. "Think about this choice very carefully, Marinette. You're not being forced into anything.

Marinette nodded and looked back at Clara. "That's so nice of you, and… I'm one of your hugest fans, but… I came here to be an extra with my friends, and I really wanna stay with them."

Marinette's friends gasped in shock, surprised by this decision.

Clara then rose to her feet.

That's a pity, a shame, but I understand it's true.

That's a very cool gesture, very Ladybug of you!

She then turned her eyes upon Jack.

But I have found my Sprite.

Do you think you can help me with my plight?

Jack stared at her dumbfounded. "Wait, you want me to play Lord Sprite?

You stood by your friend and supported her

That makes you the perfect Sprite, young sir.

"But I'm blind," Jack argued.

You don't need sight to dance.

So, what do you say you take a stance?

"Go on, Jack," Marinette encouraged. "You would be perfect for the role."

Jack groaned. "All right."

Clara then took Marinette over and sat her in a chair by a trailer.

Just sit over here for makeup, okay?

I'll ask your friends to be sent over right away!

She then turned and walked away.

"Oh! Thank you! Thank you!" said Marinette.

Tikki then stuck her head out of Marinette's purse. "Good job, Marinette! You didn't give in to the temptation!"

She then quickly popped it back inside as Marinette's friends approached her.

"You're crazy!" said Mylène, hugging her.

"You turned down filming with Adrien to be with us?" said Alya, joining in the hug.

"You really are the best!" said Rose, joining in as well.

However, unbeknownst to them, pulling outside the hotel in a stretch limousine was Chloé dressed up as Ladybug and sporting a Ladybug-style wig.

Moments later, she was walking past the line of extras clapping. "Thank you all for coming. You can go home now."

"Uh, heads up; brat alert in the immediate vicinity," said Alya.

"Don't worry. Knowing Nightingale, Chloé doesn't stand a chance of being chosen," said Marinette confidently.

"Wow! What's happening to you today?" Alya asked, bowing to her. "I have to bow before so much wisdom!"

"That's right," Marinette smiled. "From now on, the name's Master Marinette Dupain-Cheng!"

All of them then laughed.

"Your 'Ladybug' has arrived!" said Chloé to Clara's face. "So when does the shoot begin?"

"Chloé, everyone has to audition," Adrien pointed out. "You know that!"

"Oh yeah, that little formality," she said, doing some stretches.

She then walked to one side and launched into a series of dance moves, after which the extras in line cheered wildly.

"Aaah…ha ha. It's been a while," she said proudly. "Eight years of private classes with Aurélie Dupont from the Paris Op-er-a. I know. I'm breathtaking."

Clara then walked up to her.

You've definitely got enough talent for me,

But you, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite have to be a good match, you see.

"No problem!" she said and instantly hugged Adrien. "Adrikins and I have known each other since we were little!"

Clara didn't look convinced.

Mayor Bourgeois then stood up just offstage. "The son of the world's greatest fashion designer and the daughter of the Mayor of Paris—that would be just perfect!"

"What about me?" Jack asked.

"What about you?"

"I'm playing Lord Sprite," said Jack plainly.

"Oh, well, I can work with you if I have to," said Chloé dismissively.

Marinette growled furiously.

Alya looked at her. "Is there a problem, Master Dupain-Cheng?"

"Chloé playing Ladybug? No way! Not gonna happen!" said Marinette angrily.

Alya looked generally surprised. "Oh? That bothers you more than not being with Adrien in the video?"

"Uh, if I were Ladybug, I wouldn't want a brat like Chloé playing me," said Marinette.

Clara pondered momentarily and then walked towards the edge of the stage, where Nathalie stood and knelt down towards the tablet.

"What do you think, Gabriel?" she asked.

"Hmmm," Gabriel pondered. "Artistically speaking, the young lady with ponytails would've been ideal, but it's time to start filming. We'll make do with Miss Bourgeois."

"I trust you, Gabriel," said Clara.

Chloé cheered as she continued to hug Adrien, who was resisting. "We're both going to be in a music video, Adrikins! Or should I say, Adri-cat!" She then laughed. "Get it? 'Adri-cat'?"

"Adri-cat, yeah," said Adrien nervously as he chuckled.

"I didn't find that funny the slightest," said Jack dryly.

Marinette suddenly rose to her feet. "Hey, wait! I've changed my mind! I do wanna be Ladybug!"

Tikki gasped within Marinette's purse.

Clara beamed upon hearing this.

Awesome! This will be the best video yet!

Thank you, thank you, Marinette!

She spun around towards Marinette and gave a big hug, kissing her on both cheeks before looking towards a fuming Chloé.

I'm really sorry, what's-your-name,

But you can still be an extra in the video if you're game!

"What?!" Chloé yelled, looking outraged. "You want me to be a mere… extra?!" She then stormed off, followed closely by her father. "Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!"

Outside the hotel, Jean opened the limousine door so that she could enter and then gave her her teddy bear, Mr. Cuddly, on a tray.

She took Mr Cuddly and tossed him on the seat next to her. "Unh! Stop annoying me with that stupid dumb bear, Jean-Eudes!" She sat there for a few moments and then picked up Mr Cuddly and started sucking her thumb until she got a wonderful, awful idea.

Jack was currently getting changed in the trailer and got into the Lord Sprite costume which had been given to him.

"How do I look?" Jack asked Nooroo.

"You look exactly like yourself," said Nooroo.

"I was afraid you were going to say that," Jack groaned. "I might be able to get away with it since I have a full body mask, but I'm not so certain about Marinette and Adrien."

"Huh-uh," said Nooroo.

Jack sighed. "All right, you can say it."

"I told you so," said Nooroo.

"I just hope that Lady P never finds out that it was me in this costume, or I'll never hear the end of it," Jack groaned.

In the dress trailer, Marinette had put on the Ladybug costume given to her, except for the mask she was holding, and she examined herself in a mirror.

"Ooh! Great choice of fabric!" said Tikki. "And these seams! Amazing craftsmanship! Almost like the real thing, don't you think?"

"Uhh, yeah, it's too well done!" said Tikki. "Oh wow, Tikki, I really messed up this time! If they see me with this mask on, they're all gonna recognise me for sure! There's no way I can wear it!"

She then heard a knock on the door. "You ready, Marinette?"

"Yes, I'm coming!" Marinette yelled anxiously, quickly hiding the mask in a pile of folded fabric on a shelf, and ran out to the stage.

"There she is!" Alya pointed as Marinette climbed onto the stage where Adrien was waiting.

Everyone then immediately cheered for Marinette.

Clara helped Marinette onto the stage, smiling.

Spot on! And spotlight!

The spotlight came on, and Clara looked at Marinette and Adrien.

So, you're Ladybug and Cat Noir, right?

"No! Uh…uh…yeah!" they both said in unison and then chuckled.

Outside, Chloé, minus her wig, pushed her father toward the entrance.

"But sweetie, there's no way we can cancel the shoot now," said Mayor Bourgeois.

Chloé then pulled out her phone, feigning sorrow. "I'm going to call Mum and tell her how all my dreams have been crushed!"

Mayor Bourgeois instantly stammered anxiously, grabbed Chloé's phone, and started punching in a phone number. "Let's not disturb our beloved Queen for such a little matter, right, my little Princess?"

Back inside, Jack had just arrived and carefully made his way onstage using the fake cane to guide him.

"It's a good thing this costume comes with a cane," said Jack.

"Whoa, Jack, you look exactly like Sprite," said Marinette amazed.

"If I didn't know it was you, I would say you're the real Sprite," Adrien agreed.

Jack gave a nervous chuckle. "Yeah, who knew."

Clara smiled as she looked at the three of them.

Now it's time you take a stance,

It's time to teach you how to dance.

Clara started to demonstrate moving her left arm and right arm out, both up and down. "One, two, and three."

The three of them began facing Clara, copying the moves, though Marinette was lagging behind, and Jack needed Clara to move his arms for the first few tries. Marinette's friends watched just in front of the stage.

Clara nodded at them.

Your dance moves need to be synchronised if you can,

So you'll need to hold each other by the hand.

Marinette and Adrien turn to face each other and clasp their right hands as if shaking hands.

"Okay," said Adrien as he grasped Marinette's hand, and the two of them smiled nervously at Clara.

Marinette's friends giggled.

Not like that. Don't be shy!

Clara then walked over and put Adrien's left hand in Marinette's right.

Like lovers do. Give it a try!

Marinette and Adrien gaped anxiously at their clasped hands.

"But if this is how Sprite feels when he's with the real Ladybug and Cat Noir," said Sprite.

As the other girls watched, Alya took photos of Marinette and Adrien. "Marinette's jaw will drop when she sees these pix!"

"Oh! I can't believe how much they look like the real Ladybug and Cat Noir!" said Rose as they looked through the pictures.

"Yeah, and Jack could be mistaken for the real Sprite," Alix added.

Clara then turned and smiled at Marinette and Adrien.

One final task:

Put on the mask.

"Uh, I didn't see it. I looked everywhere in the dressing room for it, but it was…" said Adrien nervously.

"Uh, well, I… found the costume, but the mask was, um…" said Marinette simultaneously, equally nervous.

"…nowhere to be found!" they said in unison.

Clara then laughed, prompting Marinette and Adrien to laugh, followed closely by Jack and Marinette's friends.

Alya continued recording them as they fidgeted awkwardly while still holding hands. "They don't look a thing like the real Ladybug and Cat Noir now!"

"It's okay! I found them!" said a stagehand from the dressing trailer.

Marinette and Adrien grasped in dread, and Jack grimaced.

Moments later, Clara handed Marinette and Adrien their masks.

Go ahead, put them on, you two.

We've got a lot of singing and dancing to do!

Marinette and Adrien face one another, anxiously staring down at the masks in their hands, the eyes of the whole room upon them.

"Woohoo!" Alix cheered.

"Come on!" Mylène encouraged.

Their heartbeats began beating very fast as they slowly raised their masks towards their faces. They closed their eyes when they were seconds away from putting them on, but suddenly, entering the hotel was Mayor Bourgeois, carrying a stack of papers about a foot tall, with Chloé smoking behind him.

"I'm sorry," said Mayor Bourgeois. "My administrative staff just realised you never submitted permit A38 as stipulated in the circular B65 that one can only get at counter C, third floor of City Hall, which is, alas, closed for renovations until August, which means you don't have a permit to shoot… anywhere in France, including Paris."

He then handed the heavy stack of paper to Clara, who was so bewildered she could no longer rhyme. "I… I don't understand!"

Chloé then grabbed Clara's microphone and threw it off the stage.

It means no more dancing, no more singing today,

The nightingale can spread her wings and fly away!

"Oh! Did you hear that?" said Chloé as Clara ran past, tossing the papers aside and tearfully running down the stage to her fallen microphone. "I made a rhyme! How talented am I?"

Clara picked it up and saw the star on it was cracked. "No! The video needs to be shot here, in Paris, the capital of love, the city of Ladybug and Cat Noir!"

She then began to cry.

This ruins all of my plans!

I'm so sorry, my beloved fans!

She then ran away tearfully towards her dressing trailer. Once inside, she leaned against the doors and began to cry.

Hawk Moth instantly sent these negative emotions and opened his window.

"Ah… Tears of disenchantment. Such sweet music to my ears," he said as he created an akuma. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize her."

He then released it, and it fluttered out into the city.

Clara was still in her trailer, but she had now dropped to the floor as she continuously cried. The akuma then flew in and entered her microphone, causing the butterfly halo to appear on her face.

"Frightningale, I am Hawk Moth," said Hawk Moth telepathically. "So they tried to silence you? With the power I'm giving you, the world will be nothing but song and dance!"

Clara then rose to her feet.

Yes, Hawk Moth, thank you,

For making this dream come true!

Dark ether then covered her body as she began to transform. She was now wearing a sparkly pop outfit, the huge star embroidered on the chest, and platform shoes. Her face was now covered in white makeup, she sported a star-shaped visor over her eyes, and her hair became blonde with two pigtails; on the left, one was highlighted with green dye on the tip, and the other was pink. Her microphone had become a battle with a glowing purple whip.

Chloé clapped several times in the main room for attention as she addressed the extras.

"The show is over! You all have to leave now," she said, laughing triumphantly.

Jack, who was back in his normal clothes, then marched up to her as the extras started to leave. "I can't believe that you ruined this video for everyone just because you couldn't play the part of Ladybug."

Chloé smirked at him. "Please, I'm doing everyone a favour. I mean, Dupain-Cheng as Ladybug don't make me laugh."

"Marinette is ten times the Ladybug than you could ever hope to be," Jack glared as he walked away.

Chloé was about to say something when suddenly a glowing whip appeared out of nowhere, striking both her and her father, and certainly, a pink aura covered them.

Everyone looked up and saw standing on the catwalk was Frightningale.

Sing, dance or rhyme,

Or you'll be frozen in no time!

Both Marinette and Adrien, who were also back in their regular clothes, witnessed the entire thing from the trailer area in shock.

"What is she talking about?" said Chloé as she and her father approached Frightningale. "Dancing and making rhymes? And why not play the trumpet too, while you're at it—"

suddenly, she turned into a shiny pink statue, causing everyone in the room to gasp.

"Chloé, hon'!" Mayor Bourgeois gasped, and Frightningale laughed.

Mayor Bourgeois quickly looked up at her.

Please! Please! I'll keep up this rhyme,

Don't make me freeze, not this time!

Frightningale then clapped.

Oh, bravo!

And you've got the right tempo!

Frightningale then began swinging her with at the extras below, who instantly turned into shiny pink statues while the rest fled in panic.

Marinette quickly ran back inside the trailer, and Tikki flew out of her purse.

"Time to transform!" she said. "Tikki, spots on!"

Marinette then transformed into Ladybug.

Adrien ran into a secluded spot, and Plagg flew out of his jacket.

"Ready to vocalise?" Adrien asked and held out his ring. "Plagg, claws out!"

He then began to transform into Cat Noir.

Jack hid behind the stage and let Nooroo out of his jacket.

"Time to hit the dancefloor," he said, removing his scarf. "Nooroo, light wings rise!"

He then began to transform into Lord Sprite.

Frightningale was now standing outside on the roof of the Grand Palais, whipping people below, who turned into pink statues.

Sing, dance or rhyme,

Or you'll be frozen in no time!

She was about to fly her whip again when suddenly, Ladybug's yo-yo wrapped around her whip wrist.

"I thought you were a fan of Sprite, Cat Noir and me, Nightingale, so you should know that we fight villains!" said Ladybug.

Frightningale smiled at her.

I'm Frightningale from here on out,

Forever and ever, there's no doubt!

She pulled on the string and flung her whip, but Ladybug quickly dodged it. She kept swinging her whip until Ladybug jumped down on the level below and released her.

And if you stand in my way,

There'll be a price to pay!

"You have to come round! Don't let negative emotions take you over!" Ladybug pleaded.

She swung her yo-yo again, but this time, Frightningale caught it. She then began spinning the end of it as she approached her.

Song and dance will make the world a better place.

Don't agree with me? Ha! Then you're a disgrace!

She then began swinging the end of the yo-yo she was holding at Ladybug. She was able to dodge it, jump off the roof, and land on the ground, where Ladybug regained control of her weapon.

"I can help you if you give me your akuma!" said Ladybug as she began spinning her yo-yo around.

Frightningale backflipped to avoid her attack.

I won't let you take my akuma away.

I like the new me, and I'm here to stay!

She then charged at Ladybug but then ended up getting tripped by Cat Noir's staff.

Cat Noir retracted his staff and began spinning it around. "Do you mind if I join the dance?" he asked as he extended his staff to the ground in front of him and rested his chin on it, on his hands.

"I hope you have room for one more," said Sprite as he landed beside Ladybug, raising his cane.

Frightningale then lept up back onto the roof of the Grand Palais.

You're like all the others, but you can't silence me!

I'm just trying to make the world better, can't you see?

Hawk Moth smiled within his lair.

"Strike them, Frightningale!" he said.

It'll be easier for you to overpower them if they're forced to sing and dance!

"Then no one will be able to stop you from accomplishing your dream."

Now's your chance!

Frightningale looked down at them.

Do you really think the three of you

Can win this battle through and through?

"Three is always better than one!" said Ladybug and then looked at Sprite and Cat Noir. "Guys, I'll take the left."

"I'll take the right," said Cat Noir.

"And I'll go down the middle," said Sprite.

The three of them then ran towards the Grand Palais and run and scampered up columns to leap above the roof. Ladybug ran on the left-hand side of the building, Cat Noir on the right and Sprite ran up the middle. They immediately drew their weapons and swung at Frightningale. However, she manoeuvred out of the way, causing Ladybug's yo-yo to snag around Cat Noir's staff and Sprite's cane.

"Hey, look out!" said Ladybug.

"Whoops! Sorry, M'Lady!" said Cat Noir.

"Not like we did it on purpose," said Sprite.

They quickly untangled themselves, but Frightningale swung her whip at Sprite, who quickly jumped out of the way. Cat Noir then used this opportunity to launch himself at Frightningale and Ladybug for long her yo-yo at the exact same time. However, Frightningale jumped out of the way, and Ladybug's yo-yo ended up wrapping entangled Cat Noir himself, and he landed on the edge of the roof's dome.

Frightningale spun around, flicking her whip, and Ladybug quickly reeled him to avoid it and Sprite jumped over to them. However, in the moment of discombobulation, Frightningale struck the trio with her whip, giving them pink auras.

Frightningale twirled around, smiling at them as she laughed.

Welcome to my musical show.

I hope it will be your fatal blow!

Cat Noir was about to move forward for another attack, but Ladybug grabs his arm.

Wait! Stay right here and dance,

Or else you'll be frozen…

Her arm started to become a statue

uh, without a chance!

Her armour then reverted back to normal when Ladybug began moving rhythmically in place.

Cat Noir nodded.

Yeah, you're right. We have to rhyme.

Not so easy, um… all the time?

Ladybug sighed in relief while Cat Noir also began to rhythmic movement.

Sprite, two of them joined in with the rhythmic movement.

If not, you'll become a statue,

Then, we will be the ones who need rescue.

Hawk Moth smiled within his lair.

Nice work. The heroes cannot fight back!

They're too busy singing and dancing while we're on the attack.

Now hurry, sweet Nightingale, it's both of their Miraculous that I lack.

Frightningale then advanced towards the trio.

Hawk Moth, you bet!

Miraculous you'll get!

Ladybug quickly swung her yo-yo at Frightningale, but she fended off. She then quickly looked at Cat Noir.

Stay in charge, Cat Noir; don't blow a fuse!

Don't forget your dancing fight moves!

Cat Noir frowned.

Dancing fight moves…?

Like my Capoeira grooves!

Cat Noir launched himself into a series of Capoeira moves, fending Frightningale off. She quickly swung her whip at the three heroes, but they somersaulted backwards to avoid it.

Frightningale chuckled at them.

Why is Cat Noir so dumb?

He doesn't even know fifty plus fifty is a sum!

Cat Noir smiled confidently.

Yes, I do;

The dummy is you!

It's—

Ladybug then quickly stepped in.

Fifty plus fifty's a hundred and two!

This took Frightningale aback. "Huh?"

She then began swinging her whip at Ladybug, who fended her off.

Cat Noir looked at Ladybug, confused.

Your math is crazy.

Count again, M'Lady.

Ladybug looked at him.

Fifty plus fifty — the sum doesn't rhyme!

One more false move, and you're trapped big time!

Cat Noir soon realised his mistake.

I almost made a serious boo-boo,

But I didn't, thanks to you!

Sprite then immediately launched himself at Frightningale, swinging his cane at her.

Because what you say,

Or else you might have a bad day.

Frightningale soon began swinging her whip at them, forcing the three heroes back until they reached the roof's ledge. With one final swing of her whip, the three heroes were forced to leap off the roof.

However, when Frightningale looked down, she saw that the heroes had vanished and jumped down onto the ground.

You think you three are being so clever,

But soon, you'll tire yourselves and be frozen forever!

The three heroes were hiding behind the bus, continuing to move rhythmically.

Ladybug then looked at Cat Noir and Sprite

It's not in our favour at a glance,

Because we constantly have to advance,

While keeping up this song and dance.

We can leave nothing to chance.

Cat Noir nodded.

Sweet Bugaboo, I agree.

But what possible plan do you see?

Sprite looked through the windows of the bus at Frightningale.

While you plan to attack,

I'll cover our backs.

He then jumped over the bus and began to attack Frightningale, who saw the attack coming and spun around, avoiding his attack.

She then began swinging her whip at him.

Do you honestly think you can surprise me,

I'll bring you down onto one knee.

Sprite then quickly blocked her whip.

You can certainly try,

But if you fail, don't cry.

Cat Noir looked at Ladybug.

If we're to help our number one fan,

We are seriously going to need a plan.

Ladybug nodded.

Our last weapon can do her harm.

It is my… Lucky Charm!

She then quickly swung her yo-yo into the air and materialised a pair of red and black spotted handcuffs. However, this caught the attention of Frightningale, who had just managed to tangle him in her whip and sent him flying across the street. He then hit a lamppost, which knocked him out cold; seconds after hitting the ground, he became a pink statue.

Ladybug then caught the handcuffs.

What is this thrown our way?

Handcuffs, I would say.

Cat Noir looked at her curiously.

We know we have to stop her,

But what solution do you offer?

Ladybug began looking around, and her eyes fell upon the cuffs, Cat Noir's ring and her yo-yo, giving her an idea.

They're not for her; they're meant for us!

Now, Cat Noir, do your stuff!

Cat Noir nodded but hesitated before he could say anything, much to her confusion.

What's with the frown?

What's going down?

Cat Noir gave her a pleading look.

I can't find a rhyme.

Can you help me this time?

Ladybug smiled at him.

Cat Noir, you're a sweet-talker,

Rhymer, dancer and walker.

Look at the bright side today.

Don't be pessimistic, and make way…

Cat Noir smiled.

For optimism!

Cataclysm!

With his hand now charged with destructive energy, Ladybug quickly slapped the handcuffs on her right hand and Cat Noir's left. She then used her yo-yo to lash her right ankle to his left.

Frightningale had made it towards the bus, lifted it up, and found the heroes hiding behind it. She then tossed it aside and was surprised to find the two of them were bound together.

Ladybug smiled as they advanced.

Connected, we're one; our movements are synched.

So, let's get a move on because we are linked!

Frightningale began swinging her whip at the two of them, but they continuously blocked every swing.

Cat Noir nodded at Ladybug.

As if we were dancing without thought,

The two of them then punched Frightningale in the face simultaneously.

Take this shot!

Frightningale was not back, and then the two of them jumped onto the railings.

Ladybug looked at Cat Noir.

By any chance,

Will you grant me this dance?

Cat Noir smiled and nodded.

Let's cut a rug,

M'Ladybug!

Frightningale kept swinging her wet at them, but they just kept blocking and countering. Until the two of them kicked her in the chest, sending her back into the hotel.

Once inside, Frightningale quickly ran back and climbed onto the stage, looking furious.

You can't bend the rules!

Dancing tied up is cheating, fools!

The two heroes advanced towards her, and Ladybug kept smiling.

When someone's akumatized,

We never compromise.

Cat Noir smirked as they climbed onto the stage.

You're feeling unsteady.

You know you've lost already!

Frightningale swung her whip at them again, starting a pitched battle with the two heroes. However, now that their movements were synced, she found it difficult to keep up. They jumped into the air, performing a double axe kick, forcing her to roll to safety. They quickly got to their feet, dodging one of her whip strikes, and then kept on advancing towards her until the two of them pushed her back.

Ladybug then quickly grabbed her hand, and Cat Noir grabbed her whip. Once they had the whip, Ladybug released her, making her fall to the ground, and the whip crumbled to black dust within Cat Noir's hand, releasing the akuma. The moment it was released, Ladybug undid the handcuffs and threw them up into the air.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" the two heroes yelled in unison.

The magical ladybugs then swarmed all over the petrified people, reverting back to normal, including Lord Sprite, as well as removing the pink auras around the two of them.

"No more evil-doing for you, little akuma," said Ladybug as she opened her yo-yo and spun it around. "Time to de-evilize!" She then swung the yo-yo, catching the akuma and pulled it back. "Gotcha!" She then released the purified butterfly and watched as it fluttered away. "Bye-bye, little butterfly."

Frightningale then reverted back to plain old Clara Nightingale.

Ladybug and Cat Noir then fist-bumped. "Pound it!"

Lord Sprite then landed on the stage and smiled. "Guess this dance class is now over."

Clara looked up at them, confused. "Ladybug? Cat Noir! Lord Sprite! What are you doing here?"

"You were akumatized by Hawk Moth, but everything's back to normal again," Cat Noir explained.

Clara beamed at them excitedly.

I was saved by the three of you?

How amazing! Too good to be true!

"And I have an idea how you can finish your video without anyone getting in your way!" said Ladybug, walking up to her and whispering something in her ear.

Whatever she was whispering, Clara appeared to like the idea and smiled broadly.

At Collège Françoise Dupont library, Marinette and her friends were all watching the new miraculous video being displayed on the large screen.

Marinette's plan worked like a charm; instead of shooting the video in one place, they went all over Paris and various other locations. Additionally, several people were wearing Ladybug, Cat Noir or Lord Sprite masks while dancing in sync. Practically everyone was in the video except for Chloé.

"It's so much better like this!" said Rose.

"At least now everybody gets to be in it!" said Mylène.

"I understand it was Ladybug who gave the idea; that girl is full of ideas," said Jack.

"Besides, even though Marinette, Adrien and Jack kinda look like Ladybug, Cat Noir and Sprite, they really weren't believable," Alya added.

"I couldn't agree more!" Marinette agreed. "And I wouldn't have had any fun playing Ladybug. It was so much better being with you guys!"

Rose then ran over to hug Marinette, closely followed by Mylène and Alix, as Kim, Alya, and Juleka also leaned in for the hug.

"To be honest, it was a huge weight off my shoulders as well; I much prefer this version," said Jack.

"Yeah, I prefer this version, too," Adrien nodded. "I couldn't have pulled off playing Cat Noir."

"I know," said Marinette dismissively. "Worlds apart!"

Adrien gasped, wondering what Marinette meant by that. "What?"

Marinette then quickly ran over to Adrien. "What I meant was that you'd be more lame as Cat Noir than in real life. No! N-Not that you're lame in real life, right? It's just, compared to Cat Noir, you're just, I mean… you don't look a thing like him; that's what I mean."

"And you don't look a thing like Ladybug either," Adrien chuckled.

"Huh?" Marinette frowned.

"Uh, yeah, I mean, I'm sure she's not as funny as you are!" he said.

The two of them then laughed.

"Yeah," Marinette agreed.
