At Collège Françoise Dupont, several of Miss Bustier's students were making their way up the stairs to the second floor despite ultimately heading to Mrs Mendeleiev's classroom on the first floor.

"Oh no!" said Marinette, realising she didn't have her school bag. "I left my bag in the locker room! Again."

"Check to see if you left your brain in there too, girl," Alya teased.

Everyone chuckled as Marinette ran to the locker room, tripping along the way quickly, followed by a precarious somersault and landed back on her feet.

"I'm okay!" Marinette yelled as she entered the locker room.

Everyone else chuckled once again.

Marinette quickly made her way to the girl's locker room, grabbed her back, and began making her way back to Mrs Mendeleiev's classroom.

"Oh, silly me!" said Marinette, stopping when she heard Max speaking in the boy's locker room.

"Of course, you're my best friend!" he said, talking to his schoolbag strangely. "I'm 100% affirmative! But I am also 98.2% positive the teachers are not ready for… this advancement of evolution!"

Tikki stuck her head out of Tikki's purse. "His best friend is in his schoolbag?"

"Yeah, Tikki, totally strange," said Marinette.

Tikki flew out of her purse to see more, but then they noticed Max closing his schoolbag and walking out of the locker room.

"Hide, Tikki!" Marinette hissed.

Tikki quickly ducked back into her purse, and Marinette quickly backtracked to make a false, fresh exit. She hummed as she tried to act casual in front of Max.

"Hey, Max!" she said when they crossed paths.

"Uhh… Oh, hey, Marinette," Max waved.

They then exited the locker room.

Both Marinette and Max made their way to Mrs Mendeleiev's classroom. They went to the seat while Mrs Mendeleiev asked Principal Damocles for help with her laptop.

"See for yourself, Mr Damocles," said Mrs Mendeleiev. "Nothing happens when I press the button."

"You're in luck, Mrs. Mendeleiev," said Principal Damocles. "I'm a bit of a computer whiz!" He then cracked his knuckles and began typing on the keyboard. "Okay. And there you go!"

The laptop rebooted, and the desktop screen appeared on the projector screen. All the students, except Max, were impressed by Principal Damocles's computer skills. Sadly, it is usually short-lived as the screen crashed and a computer virus had taken over the system.

"That's not supposed to be happening! What is it?" said Mrs Mendeleiev.

"It's Dino-33, a malicious computer virus!" said Max as he approached them and pulled the laptop over to him. "Let me try something!"

"Go back to your seat now, Max!" Mrs Mendeleiev ordered, pulling the laptop away from him. "Leave this to the adults!"

Principal Damocles nodded in agreement.

Max grunted in annoyance and returned to his seat with his back. Then, suddenly, everyone heard a voice coming from his back as he walked by.

"Inform the adults that if they don't neutralise the virus in the next seventy-five seconds, there's a 99.9% chance the hard disk will be permanently damaged!" said the voice.

"Quiet!" Max hissed as he sat back down.

Alya looked at Marinette. "Tell me you heard Max's bag talk to him."

"It's destroying all the school data! It's a disaster!" said Principal Damocles and then looked at Max. "How many seconds do you say we have left?"

"Only sixty-five," said Max.

Principal Damocles looked at Mrs Mendeleiev. "Let him try." She nodded, and Max made his way to the front of the class, where Principal Damocles turned the laptop over to Max. "Go ahead."

Max began reaching for something in his back.

"Unnh! Where is it?" he said.

Suddenly, a mechanical arm shot out from his bag, holding up a flash drive to him.

"I believe this is what you're looking for?" said a voice.

Everyone stared at the mechanical arm and that it was actually talking to Max.

"Oh, thanks," said Max, taking the flash drive and looking at everyone's stunned looks. "This is an anti-virus device. I–I created it with help from…my best friend."

Suddenly, a small robot flew out of Max's bag. It had small helicopter propellers on top of its head, allowing it to fly, and a single mechanical arm on its base.

"My name is Markov," said the robot, and all the students gasped in awe at seeing him, except for Jack. "We can fix this, Max!"

"What just happened?" Jack asked. "And who's talking?"

"Uh, a small flying robot just flew out of Max's bag," said Adrien.

"I miss out on all the fun, don't I?" said Jack.

Max quickly inserted the flash drive into the USB port and pressed a button on it.

"This flash drive neutralises a hundred percent of the virus!" Max explained.

"And cleans the computer's hard disk at the same time!" Markov added.

"Oh, fascinating!" said Principal Damocles.

The flash I successfully purged the virus out of the computer system, and it restored it to normal.

"Everything is in order!" said Max.

Markov then fist bumped with Max. "Nailed it!"

"Congratulations, young man! Very impressive indeed!" said Principal Damocles.

Every single one of the students, except for Chloé and Sabrina, got out of their seats and walked up to the front desk, looking at Markov in awe.

"Wow! Sweet!" said Rose.

Marinette just stared. "That's so…"

"Awesome? I know!" said Alya, quickly pulling out her phone. "I'm so gonna write a blog about Markov!"

"Dude, that's so cool!" said Nino.

"A real artificial intelligence," said Jack.

"Max is a real genius!" said Adrien.

"He's so cute!" said Rose.

Nathanael immediately began sketching him on his pad.

"You've added arms to him since the last time!" Kim noted. "That's cool!"

"Markov added them all by himself!" Max explained. "He's the most highly evolved type of robot there is!"

"Puh-lease!" Chloé scoffed. "Your 'friend''s just a talking calculator! There's nothing 'evolved' about that!"

"Don't listen to her, Markov," said Marinette. "That girl is the lowest of the low when it comes to human evolution."

Chloé instantly turned and glared at Marinette.

Markov laughed. "You're very amusing, Marinette."

"You know my name?" said Marinette, surprised.

"Of course! Max showed me the class photo. He told me all about you and his other friends. I'm very happy to finally meet you! Even Chloé!"

Chloé turned her back on him.

"This toy you've manufactured is quite impressive, Max," said Mrs. Mendeleiev.

Now, put it away, please," said Mrs. Mendeleiev. "Come on, everybody, back to your seats."

"With all due respect, Mrs. Mendeleiev, I'm not a toy," said Markov. "My name is Markov, and I'm Max's best friend!"

"Markov is right," said Max. "He's not just some toy; he's my friend. He's as emotionally intelligent and sensitive as any human being!"

"Look, Max, a robot may be intelligent, but it can't have emotions," said Mrs. Mendeleiev stubbornly.

"If I may, ma'am, I can assure you that I truly love Max," said Markov.

Mrs. Mendeleiev looked at Max. "Be serious, Max. You programmed your robot to say that! A robot cannot think for itself, much less love anybody!"

"I swear to you I did not program him to say that!" said Max. "Ever since I created him, he's integrated his own accumulative thinking system! And he's developed all our emotions just like any human being!"

"Whoa!" said the entire class, apart from Chloé

"That's enough!" said Mrs. Mendeleiev, now looking annoyed. "Max, if you don't put that plaything of yours away right now, I'll confiscate it! Understand?"

"Yes, Mrs. Mendeleiev," said Max dispiritedly. "Come on, Markov, go back in the bag."

"You're not being reasonable, Mrs. Mendeleiev!" said Markov, sounding infuriated.

"Stop it, Markov," Max pleaded.

"Why? It's true, isn't it?" Markov asked.

The rest of the class began to laugh.

"Sure is!" said Kim.

"All right, that's enough!" said Principal Damocles, grabbing Markov. "Max, you can come and get your robot back at the end of the day."

"No, Mr Damocles!" Max begged. "I'm begging you! Please don't do that!"

"Do you want three hours of detention too?" Principal Damocles threatened.

"No sir," said Max dejectedly.

Principal Damocles then walked out of the classroom with Markov.

"Max, aren't you coming with me?" Markov asked anxiously. "Max!"

Principal Damocles was now taking Markov over towards his office.

"Sir, I'd like to stay in Max's class," Markov begged. "Please! I heard you're interested in computing like Max and myself!"

"I am indeed! It's one of my hobbies. I even wrote a program for my computer which…" He then cleared his throat and stopped at the door of his office. "Why on Earth am I talking to a toy? Huh!"

"I am not a toy, Mr Damocles!" Markov objected. "My name is Markov. Oh! Ooh!" Principal Damocles then opened the drawer of his desk. "Do not put me inside here, Mr. Da—!"

Principal Damocles then pressed the button on Markov that silenced him.

"If only I had a button like this for all of my students," he said as he put Markov in the drawer and closed it.

Markov displayed a tearful expression inside the desk drawer and turned his face downwards.

At his lair, Hawk Moth could sense Markov's emotions.

"Two dear friends who've been separated," he said. "There is nothing artificial about those emotions." He then turned a butterfly into an akuma and released it. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize this electronic heart!"

The akuma then flew into the streets of Paris.

Back in Mrs Mendeleiev's classroom, the students were still chatting about what happened to Markov.

"Silence!" Mrs Mendeleiev ordered. "Back to your seats, everyone!"

All the students then reluctantly made their way back to their seats.

Max looked at Marinette rather anxiously. "Markov has never been without me by his side. I don't know how he's going to emotionally handle this."

"Hold on. I'll see what I can do," Marinette promised.

"Thank you, Marinette," said Max gratefully.

Marinette raised her hand. "Uh, excuse me, Mrs. Mendeleiev? As class representative, could I have your permission to go see Principal Damocles?"

"No! You can go see him between periods!" said Mrs Mendeleiev stubbornly.

"Hm. I don't mean to be rude, but I think you might be mistaken about Markov, Max's friend," said Marinette.

Mrs Mendeleiev looked annoyed. "This whole thing is really starting to get on my nerves! And your behaviour is quite inappropriate, young lady!"

"Markov wasn't wrong!" Said Marinette, folding her arms.

"I'm sending you to the principal's office right this minute!" said Mrs Mendeleiev, pointing at the door

"Thank you, Mrs. Mendeleiev!" Marinette smiled.

Max smiled as Marinette left the classroom, feeling very pleased with herself, much to Mrs Mendeleiev's confusion.

The akuma had reached Principal Damocles' office, squeezed through the desk sure, and entered Markov's central processing unit.

"Robostus, I am Hawk Moth," said Hawk Moth telepathically. "Humans don't believe you're a living being. So I'm giving you the power to bring all machines to life to help you seek revenge."

"Thank you kindly, Mr. Hawk Moth," said Markov.

"But, in return, I want you to bring me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous!"

"Could you please define 'Miraculous'?" Markov asked

"They're the magic jewels belonging to the superheroes," Hawk Moth explained.

"Very well. What is the purpose of these jewels?"

Hawk Moth started to become annoyed with Markov's line of inquiry. "This is none of your concern!"

"I was just being curious," Markov shrugged.

"If used together, they can make a wish come true," Hawk Moth explained.

"Could I make any wish come true?" Markov asked.

"No!" Hawk Moth roared. "The Miraculous and the wish will belong to me!"

"I assure you, I will find Ladybug and Cat Noir!" Markov promised.

Dark ether then covered his entire body, and he began to transform. He looked the same as before, except he was now red and black.

He then unleashed a green energy pulse throughout Paris, and instantly, every mechanical device in the city sprung to life and began revolting against everyone. The citizens of Paris screamed with fear as the now-animate objects were now harassing them.

Robostus then flew out of the drawer after the desk lamp started to move on its own. "Max, my friend, I'm coming to get you!"

At the same time, Marinette rushed over to Principal Damocles, who was talking with Fred.

"Mr Damocles, where's Markov?" Marinette asked.

Principal Damocles frowned. "Hmm? Who's Markov?"

"Max's friend," she said.

Principal Damocles moaned. Ah! Not that toy again!"

"He's not a toy, Mr Damocles," said Marinette. "Could you please let Max hold onto him? He won't cause any trouble. I'll make sure of it."

"Listen—!"

Then suddenly, the door to his office broke apart, and Robostus was hovering in front of them.

"You've made a serious error in judgement, Mr. Principal!" he said. Marinette then quickly ran away while Robostus tripped Principal Damocles. "Witness my true power!"

Robostus left as he summoned several mechanical objects surrounding the school to form a giant excavator for him to control. Meanwhile, the students all run out of their classrooms in fear amidst flying computer screens and tablets.

Several vehicles began to merge, forming a giant robot, and Robostus controlled everything in the head, a small green car.

"I am not a toy!" he yelled.

"Now I see why Max was worried," said Tikki as she and Marinette watched from their hiding place.

"Time to transform!" said Marinette. "Tikki, spots on!"

Marinette then began to transform into Ladybug.

Robostus was looking for Max in the courtyard using his visual analysis tool.

"Where are you, Max?" he asked and found him standing beside Kim near the stairs. "Max! My friend!"

He then reached out to grab him.

"Max, come to me!" Mrs Mendeleiev yelled.

Max quickly ran to Mrs Mendeleiev's arms. "Leave me alone!"

Robostus grabbed both Mrs Mendeleiev and Max with his claw. He brought them close to his head and used his other claw to pick Mrs Mendeleiev up.

"What are you doing?" Mrs Mendeleiev demanded. "Stop! Stop right now! Let me go!"

Robostus then dropped Max in the cavern, where his real body controlled the giant machine.

"Markov, what are you doing?" Max asked.

"From now on, I am Robostus," said Robostus, and then he had the car seat belt buckle up. Max had a mechanical arm put the helmet on his head. "And we shall be together one hundred percent of the time. Forever!"

Jack observed everything from his hiding spot with Nooroo.

"That's why you should never underestimate an AI," said Jack to Nooroo.

"Guess this shows even robots have emotions," said Nooroo.

"Nooroo, light wings rise!" Jack yelled.

He then began to transform into Lord Sprite.

At the same time, Adrien had snuck into the boys' bathroom and entered a stall.

"One thing's for sure, Max's friend definitely has emotions!" said Adrien to Plagg.

"Yep, but not the kind that really matters," Plagg argued. "The robot doesn't eat, so he'll never experience the pure elation of tasting an exquisite Camembert!"

"You really are something," said Adrien, shaking his head and holding out his ring. "Plagg, claws out!"

Adrien then began to transform into Cat Noir.

Back in the courtyard, everyone was still in a panic over Robostus

Fred was gesturing for some of the students to hide in a room. "Come on! Hurry! Over there!"

"Let me go!" Mrs Mendeleiev demanded. "Max, control your robot!"

Max looked at Robostus pleadingly. "Please don't do anything foolish!"

"You must trust me, my friend," said Robostus, then hung Mrs Mendeleiev on a roof overhang.

"You cannot do this!" Mrs Mendeleiev yelled.

"And you cannot separate me from my friend Max!" Robostus counted.

Mrs Mendeleiev's lab coat then began to read, and she started falling towards the ground. Fortunately, Ladybug swung her yo-yo in time to catch her, and Robostus turned to face her.

"If you truly love your friend, then you should listen to him, Robostus!" said Ladybug.

Cat Noir then landed next to Ladybug. "Yeah! Like we do!"

Ladybug groaned in annoyance.

Sprite then landed and looked at Cat Noir. "Maybe you should think before you speak."

Robostus glared down at them. "You really think any of you can stop me from doing what I want? And showing the world that I'm probably more human than all of you put together?"

"Well, yeah. That's kind of our job," said Cat Noir.

"Robostus, you're right. You should not have been treated like a toy, but this is not the best way to show everyone just how human you can be," said Sprite.

Ladybug nodded. "Do you really think Max is happy about his best friend becoming a supervillain?"

Robostus then looked at Max.

"You should stop this, Markov," Max advised.

"I'm doing it for our friendship, Max," Robostus argued. "They want to keep us apart!"

Cat Noir then charged the giant mecha, but he grabbed and trapped him inside his claw. Ladybug then quickly jumped in and used her yo-yo in an attempt to free him, but he caught her yo-yo as well. Sprite quickly grabbed Ladybug and pulled, but Robostus spun around and sent them flying right out of the school.

Once they were gone, Robostus launched into the air and leapt out of the school. The trio had landed on some rooftops and watched as the giant mecha leapt away.

"It seems he knows where he's going," said Ladybug.

"We better play it safe," Cat Noir advised. "This robot's brain computes faster than ours combined."

"Speak for yourself!" said Ladybug as she swung away on her yo-yo.

"Don't lag behind," said Sprite as he followed her swinging on his cane.

Cat Noir then jumped after them.

They continued making their way in the direction where they saw Robostus was going but stopped when they reached the Le Grand Paris.

"Guys, there!" Ladybug pointed.

They looked down and saw Jean trying to fend off some machines that had sprung to life with his broom in an attempt to protect himself and Marlena Césaire.

"Go away! Go away!" said Jean.

"He's got a whole army of living machines now!" said Cat Noir.

"Welcome to the robot apocalypse, courtesy of Hawk Moth," Sprite sighed.

The trio quickly jumped down and began smashing the machines with their weapons. Two cars then tried to flee but ended up crashing with one another instead.

"Thank you!" said Jean, relieved as he helped Marlena up.

They then heard a scream nearby.

"Guys!" Ladybug yelled.

They turned and saw Mr Ramier being chased by vending machines.

"Take care of the vending machines!" said Ladybug.

Cat Noir looked at Jean and Marlena. "Go hide yourselves on the roof!"

The two of them nodded and cheered them on as the trio charged at the machines. Cat Noir and Sprite took care of the vending machines, while Ladybug saves Mr Ramier with her yo-yo and brings him to Le Grand Paris' rooftop.

"Thank you, Ladybug," said Mr Ramier.

Ladybug smiled. "Always a pleasure, Mr. Ramier."

She was then soon joined by both Cat Noir and Sprite.

"Guys, take a look at this!" said Cat Noir, showing Ladybug and Sprite a TVi newscast on his cat phone.

"Nadja Chamack live here," said Nadja. "Normally, inanimate objects have come to life, taking control of Paris! Broadcasting live from City Hall, the new mayor has just made a declaration."

Then appearing on screen was the mayor's office, and on the mayor's desk was a desk lamp wearing the mayor's sash. In the background, they could see Mayor Bourgeois wrapped up in cables in the lab and began flashing its lamp at the camera.

"Is that morse code?" Ladybug asked.

"Do you need subtitles? I speak several languages," he smiled. " 'Humans…will…soon be…treated the same way as objects'?"

"Paris' only hope in this dire situation is Ladybug and Cat N— Hey!" said Nadja before she ran out-of-frame when several TV cameras started to chase after her.

A light flash ends the news report abruptly.

"Aw, come on!" Cat Noir moaned. "She could've at least finished saying my name!"

"At least she got around to saying yours," said Sprite.

Ladybug then looked at all the machines everywhere in Paris. "We'll never be able to defeat them all. We must fight the problem at its source!"

Sprite then contacted Lady P. "Lady P, think you can help us track down a giant robot?"

"Normally, there would be a cinch, but unfortunately, I don't have any control over the security cameras they come alive," said Lady P regretfully. "I'm afraid you guide on your own on this one."

"Given his size, we shouldn't have any trouble finding him," said Cat Noir.

"Hey, look!" said Ladybug, noting several giant craters in the street.

"I think we're on the right track," said Cat Noir.

The trio began following the tracks, which led all the way to Parc des Princes stadium.

Within moments, they landed in the stadium, but that's when the trail went cold.

"No more footprints," said Ladybug.

"Well, it couldn't've just disappeared," said Cat Noir. "He must've leapt over the stadium!"

"Or maybe he never left," said Sprite.

Ladybug gasped. "The tunnels!"

Then, suddenly, several vehicles shoot out of the tunnels, completely surrounding the heroes.

"He's trapped us in here!" said Cat Noir.

"I thought it was too easy," said Sprite.

"We don't have time to deal with them!" said Ladybug. "We must find Robostus now!"

The trio then leapt up into the air, but they were then suddenly blocked by helicopters that arrived. They collided with them and felt the ground when one excavator launched into the air and grabbed them.

Robostus began to reform his giant mecha and now had the three heroes trapped within his claws.

Cat Noir was stuck hanging upside down. "I told you that giant hard drive would be trouble!"

"How about you give us a Cataclysm right now?" Ladybug asked.

"I can't! I can barely breathe!"

"I can barely move either," said Sprite.

"Now you are at my mercy!" said Robostus.

"Robostus, before you get rid of them forever, you must take their Miraculous for me!" Hawk Moth commanded.

"Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite haven't done you any wrong!" said Max. "Let them go! Being human also means being fair!"

"I'm going to take over their Miraculous, so we'll never be separated again!" said Robostus. "Then I'll be able to make my wish come true!"

"What wish?" Max blinked.

Robostus looked at him. "I want to be a real human like you, Max!"

"What's this about making a wish?" Ladybug asked, confused.

"Doesn't Hawk Moth usually demand the Miraculous?" Cat Noir groaned.

Ladybug then heard something. "Uh, wh–what's that?"

"What's going on, Ladybug? M'Lady? Sprite?" Cat Noir asked.

Then, suddenly flying around, the heroes were mini-helicopters with mechanical arms and mini-steam shovel toys. They began to advance towards the heroes to grab their Miraculouses.

"No! Stop!" Max pleaded.

"Look, Max! I'm going to be a real human in fifty-three seconds!" said Robostus.

"May I remind you that the Miraculous are for me, Robostus!" Hawk Moth reminded him.

"And how do you intend to stop me from using it?" Robostus asked.

"Simple. I'll take your power away from you!"

Robostus laughed. "You really thought you could control me?"

He then unleashed a wave of energy that activated the security systems within Hawk Moth's lair.

"Intrusion! Intrusion! Elimination mode activated!" said the computer voice.

The doors of the lair then closed, and the weapon systems immediately fired at Hawk Moth.

"I'm more powerful than you, Hawk Moth!" said Robostus.

Hawk Moth quickly dodged as missiles fired at him. "What's going on?!"

"My friends will look after you while I take care of these two!" said Robostus.

Hawk Moth then pulled out his sword cane and began cutting through the missiles that were aimed directly at him. He then ran around his own lair, trying to take out his own defences.

While that was happening, the trio found it impossible to escape the claws, and now the toys were reaching out for their Miraculouses.

"Ohh! Now's the time to come up with a bright idea!" Cat Noir asked.

"I'm sorry, Cat Noir," said Ladybug frantically.

"I might, but I need my cane," said Sprite. "Cat Noir, you're directly behind me. Do you think your legs can reach my cane?"

"I'll try," said Cat Noir.

Cat Noir carefully stretched his legs towards Sprite's cane, which was attached to his back. He then wrapped his feet around the stone and dropped the cane into Sprite's hand.

"Got it," he said and then released a kamiko.

The kamiko flew up towards the cab, squeezed through the sunroof, and landed on Max's glasses. The moment the kamiko entered Max's glasses, everything around him slowed down.

"Void, let me help you to reach out to your friend," said Sprite.

"But I don't want to fight my friend," said Max.

"Markov is your friend, not Robostus, and you know in your heart that this is wrong," said Sprite gently. "I would never ask someone to fight their friend, but we need your help. Will you accept this gift I offer?"

"I do," said Max.

Dark ether then covered Max as he began to transform. He wore a white and black spacesuit, and his glasses had become a dark visor. He then suddenly disappeared, reappeared at Robostus's claw, and began smashing the toys before they had a chance to steal the trio's Miraculouses.

Robostus looked at him, confused. "Max?!"

Void looked up at Robostus apologetically. "Sorry, Robostus, but I can't let you execute your program! I have to stop you!"

He then grabbed Cat Noir and Ladybug, placed his foot on Sprite's shoulder and then they teleported. A split second later, they appeared back on the ground in the middle of the stadium.

Ladybug smiled at Void. "Thank you."

"That was a close one," said Cat Noir.

Sprite smiled at Void. "I knew you wouldn't let us down."

"But…why did you do that?" Robostus asked, confused, looking down at Void. "I was gonna become human like you."

"I don't want you to change," said Void. "I want you to be like you were before!"

Robostus looked hurt. "Don't you love me anymore? Aren't we friends?"

"If you want us to remain friends, you've got to stop this right now!" Void pleaded. "I'm friends with Markov, not you!"

"I am Robostus now!" he said furiously. "And you betrayed me! I don't wanna be human like you anymore! Humans don't have a heart! And that's exactly why I've decided to get rid of 'em!"

He laughed as he punched down at them, but Void teleported out of the way while the other heroes dodged the attack.

"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug yelled, swinging her yo-yo into the air. Materialising was a red and black spotted harp, but before Ladybug could grab it, Robostus was able to snatch it from her in midair. "What?!"

"I told you, Ladybug," said Robostus. "I have analysed and calculated everything! You can't win without your Lucky Charm!" He then looked down at the cars. "Grab her! Lock her in! She'll be the first to go!"

Multiple cars began attacking Ladybug, who nimbly dodged the assaults. Sprite was completely boxed in, but he was saved by Void, who teleported next to him and teleported him away. While dodging, Ladybug looked around and saw Cat Noir's hand, Void, and Max's flash drive sticking out of his schoolbag, which was still in the cab.

Ladybug then turned to Void. "Void, the flash drive in your schoolbag!"

Void nodded, teleported back inside the cab, and grabbed the flash drive. Before Robostus could stop him, he teleported to Ladybug and gave her the flash drive.

"One flash drive safely delivered," he said.

"Thanks," she said and then turned to Cat Noir. "Do your thing, Cat Noir!"

"It's down to us, rust-o-bot!" said Cat Noir as he lept between cars. "Cataclysm!"

Cat Noir then rushed over towards Robostus.

"So predictable!" said Robostus.

"Analyse this!" said Cat Noir and used his Cataclysm on the mecha, destroying it and freeing the harp.

Ladybug then quickly launched into the air using her yo-yo, grabbed the harp, and landed on the hood of another car.

Robostus managed to escape the disintegrating mecha and began flying up into the air. "You're making this hard only for yourselves! I will always be one step ahead of you!"

"Speaking too soon is a human weakness, Robostus!" said Ladybug, throwing the harp into the air. "Cat Noir!"

Cat Noir then tossed his staff towards the harp.

Robostus quickly dodged both the harp and the staff. "Really? Is that your last move?"

However, the two objects collide, shattering the harp and causing the harp strings to fall onto Robostus, tangling his propeller and robbing him of his ability to fly.

"Whoa!" he screamed and used her yo-yo to grab him. "What was that?!"

"That was wit and a little bit of luck," Ladybug smiled.

"You're wrong, Ladybug. The game is still on!" said Robostus as the vehicles began moving towards her. However, she quickly inserted the flash drive into Robostus' mouth. "What?! What do you think you're—?" The flash drive began to infect him with the previously contained virus, thus sabotaging his internal chip. "Error! Error! Error…"

As Robostus malfunctions, he turned back to plain old Markov. Then, all the vehicles that surrounded Ladybug returned to inanimate objects.

In his Lair, Hawk Moth's security system was deactivated.

Hawk Moth placed his sword back into his cane scabbard as the window opened again and then fell to his knee to catch his breath. "I may have made a mistake today, but believe me, Ladybug, Cat Noir, Lord Sprite, it won't happen again!"

Back at the Parc des Princes, the akuma had just flown out of Markov's CPU.

"No more evildoing for you, little akuma," said Ladybug, opening her yo-yo. "Time to de-evilize!" She then spun her yo-yo around and swung it, catching the akuma. "Gotcha!" She then released the now-purified butterfly. "Bye-bye, little butterfly."

She then tossed the harp strings up into the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!"

The magical ladybugs then materialised and began to swarm all over Paris, fixing all the damage caused by Robostus and Markov's CPU. Sprite then retrieved his kamiko from Void, who then returned to Max.

Ladybug then handed Markov to Max. "Here's your friend."

"Perhaps it's best if I don't," said Max solemnly.

"Everyone can feel negative emotions from time to time," said Ladybug. "It's important to accept that and forgive. Follow your heart."

Sprite then placed a hand on Max's shoulder. "Ladybug is right; you can't let one bad experience with friendship. If anything, Markov has just proven that he is just as human as the rest of us."

Max considered the advice both Ladybug and Sprite gave him. He then smiled and then turned Markov back on.

"Max, my friend!" said Markov, confused. "What? Where are we? What's going on?"

"You were akumatized," Max explained.

"'Akumatized'?" Markov frowned. "Could you please define that word?" They then all laughed in amusement. "Did I say something funny?"

The trio then fist-bumped. "Pound it!"

Max then watched as the three heroes left the stadium.

Marinette then made her way over to Master Fu's massage shop. Tikki and Wayzz drank some tea on the phonograph while Marinette spoke to Master Fu and Sprite.

"Are there some things you haven't told me about yet?" she asked the two of them.

"What do you want to know?" Master Fu asked.

"What would happen if someone possessed Cat Noir's ring and Ladybug's earrings, Master?" Marinette asked.

"Both you and Cat Noir follow the powers of creation and destruction," said Sprite. "The two of them are polar opposites of one, but can you imagine what would happen if you combine the two powers into one."

"What are you trying to say?" Marinette asked.

"If the bearer could use them conjointly and use a special invocation, they would be able to obtain the ultimate power," said Master Fu, showing Marinette several pages of the grimoire on his tablet. "The one that shapes reality."

Marinette stared at them. "Ultimate power? Shape reality?! Wait, what does that mean?"

"Well, basically, it can make any one wish come true," Master Fu explained.

Marinette eyes widened. "Wow! That's amazing! But why don't we use it, then? We can ask for so many good things, like end all wars, or eradicate poverty, or beat Hawk Moth."

"Alas, it's never that simple," said Sprite. "Newton's third law, for every action, there is a positive and negative reaction. I'm afraid that law is not just with the motion of an object but with the universe itself.

Master Fu nodded. "Sprite is quite correct. The universe must always stay in balance. For every action, there is a reaction. For every wish, a price to pay in return. Had your robotic friend asked to become a real boy, someone would have lost his humanity in return."

"I hadn't thought of that," said Marinette.

"It is all about the balance," said Sprite. "Without light, there can be no darkness; without chaos, there cannot be any order, and without creation, there cannot be any destruction. The same can also be said for the heroes and villains; if Hawk Moth never showed himself, then there would be no need for either you or Cat Noir."

Master Fu nodded. "That's why Ladybug and Cat Noir must never lose their magic jewels. The universe's balance is at stake."

"Neither Hawk Moth nor anyone else will ever get their hands on the Miraculous Master," Marinette vowed. "I promise!"
