Digimon are back again
Ten years ago, a group known as the digidestined fought alongside creatures known as digimon to protect both the real world and another world known as the Digital World. Digimon have become vastly known through the human world, but many humans are still afraid of them because they don't understand them. The two worlds might be connected, but they still seem rather divided...and the situation has shown any signs of getting any better. That's why...someone knew has to step up.
"Third Generation"
"Come on! Give me a break! I didn't know your food was off limits!" A small purple dragon said as he flew around to avoid a massive orange beetle-like creature. These were digimon. One was called Kuwagamon, and the small purple one flying for his life was named Dorumon "Curse these tiny wings. Come on." He kept flying around to try and escape from Kuwagamon, but it didn't look good for him.
...
The Real World
"Mary! Time to get up! The new semester is starting!" A lady called. Meanwhile, in Odaiba, Japan, it was the start of a brand new day as the sun was shining down. It was the start of a new day for a young lady. She got up and got herself ready as she changed into a white blouse with yellow shorts. She also had brown hair that reached her shoulders, but perfectly framed her face. Mary Minato.
"New semester... You sure you don't want us to give you a ride?"
"No thanks, Dad." Mary said. "I can walk to school by myself."
"I know, but with those digimon out there, you need to be careful." Her father said.
"I swear, those things are nothing but trouble. Just look at what happened with that giant squid." Her mother said. Those two didn't seem to think highly of digimon, but Mary thought differently from them.
"I need to go. I'll see you later." Mary said as she showed herself out and was on her way to school.
...
"Come on, Sally. We need to get going." Down at a different apartment, a young man got himself ready. He had short black hair in a scisscor-cut style with glasses with him wearing a navy blue T with beige pants. Ben Kotetsu.
"Ready." A little girl who seemed to only about five said as she had black hair in pigtails and wore overalls with a white shirt.
"Thanks for agreeing to take your sister to school, Ben. I hope this doesn't make you late." Their mother said.
"I've calculated time and speed. If we go right now, I should make it to school in time. Let's go, Sally." Ben said as he grabbed his sister's hand and the two of them got moving.
...
At the same time, another young girl was walking through the streets. She had long brown hair with it tied back. She also wore a pink dress that went to her knees, but wore a leather jacket with black boots with a spikey dog collar around her neck with fingerless gloves. She had this punk-look going for her and didn't seem to care much for anything. She did stop when she looked at some televisions and saw the news talking about the latest digimon sightings.
"Coming through!" She saw a boy about her age run by. He wore a green shirt with greens with him having short brown hair in a scissor-cut style as well. Rather simple look, but it works for him. Taka Hoshi.
"Weirdo." Amanada Kurenai.
...
Inside an apartment, the sun was shining against a young boy. As much as he tried to block out the sun, he couldn't. He had to get up.
"Okay. Another day, another boring time." Seeing as he had no choice, he got right up and got himself ready for the day. This boy appeared to be no older than twelve. He got himself ready for the day. With his black hair a little messy, he grabbed himself a white shirt with a lavender jacket with dark grey shorts and grabbed himself a pair of matching goggles with clear lenses. Haru Iruma. "Well, let's see if anything is going to happen today."

Odaiba Elementary School
A new semester was starting up with the students heading for class like normal students do. Apparently, Ben's calculations were right. After he dropped off his sister, he was able to make it to school.
"Hey, dweeb!" Taka called as he practically tackled Ben and put him in a headlock.
"I wish you would stop doing that." Ben said. "By the way, did you hear about the latest digimon news?"
"Dude, who isn't talking about digimon these days?" Taka questioned.
"They truly are fascinating creatures. I would love to learn more about them, especially about the world they come from." Ben said with such fascination.
"Dude, you need a hobby other than studying. You got fascinated by how the toilet works." Taka complained.
"That's a little too much info." Mary said as she walked by. "Besides, those digimon do seem rather incredible when they're not causing trouble. I wouldn't mind getting to know them myself."
"Hey, Mary." Taka greeted. "I thought your parents didn't want you to socialize with digimon."
"Yeah, but I think differently from them." Mary said. "They might have caused some trouble, but others managed to help. Anyway, we need to get going." She said as she hurried to the building with the bell going off and the others following her. As all of the students hurried on inside, the boy named Haru remained outside and just watched them all go. Rather than hurrying to school himself, he just turned away. Rather than joining the rest of the students in school, he went and did his own thing.
"Well, it looks like it's shaping to be another lousy day already." Haru said as he just walked through the streets. It seemed like Haru didn't care that much for anything, but then something came over him. He felt a slight tightening in his chest like something bad was happening. "What's this all of a sudden?" He questioned as he placed his hand over his heart and could just tell something bad was going on.

The Digital World
"Oh man! This guy doesn't know when to quit!" Dorumon said as he kept flying for his life from Kuwagamon. That Kuwagamon was still chasing him down and didn't see any sign of stopping. Dorumon wondered how he was going to shake him when something suddenly happened. A bright light appeared right in front of him. "What the heck?!" He tried backing away from the light, but he suddenly found himself pressed against Kuwagamon's head and they both flew through the light.

Odaiba
Meanwhile, others were just going on with their normal life. Down at a simple noodle business, one particular guy was serving some customers their food and the customers certainly enjoyed it.
"My compliments to the chef. This is delicious."
"And he says thank you." The guy said for he was the chef.
"Nice going, Davis. You should be able to take a break soon." His boss said.
"Great." Davis said as he went to the kitchen and was finishing up whatever he could before his break. "Veemon, you doing okay back there?"
"Sure am." Veemon said as he helped out. "I am getting hungry. Can we eat something other than noodles for lunch?"
"Sure thing." Davis said as he was finishing up his work. That was when his phone went off. He looked and saw he had a message coming in from the others. "That break is going to have to wait. Izzy just messaged me saying there's a digital gate opening up. It looks like we're the closest."
"Oh man. All we do is work now." Veemon complained. It couldn't be helped, so the two of them did what they could to check it out.

Odaiba Elementary
The students in Odaiba Elementary just went on with their normal day. Some of them soon reached a free period and were free to roam around and study. As they were, Mary couldn't stop thinking about the digimon. As she sat at her desk and sketched around in her notebook on what she thought digimon were like. Ever since digimon have become more and more known around the world, people have different opinions about them. Some think they're amazing, others think they're just one big problem. Mary was rather curious as to what they were like and would like to meet one herself, but her parents would never allow it.
"Hey! Mary! Snap out of it!" Taka said and got her to snap back to reality.
"Sorry. What did you say?" Mary questioned.
"Ben and I were going to grab something to eat. You want to come with?" Taka questioned.
"Sure." Mary said. The three of them were about to go, but that was when they noticed a bright flash from the window. All the students saw some sort of light in the sky and were wondering what that is. It was noticed by a few others in the city, including one certain boy. That was when Dorumon flew right through hand Kuwagamon flew after him...for all to see.
"Are those more digimon?" Ben questioned.
"Only one way to find out. We do have a free period." Mary said as she hurried off.
"Mary! Wait!" Ben called as he hurried after her.
"Aren't we suppose to stay clear of weirdness?" Taka questioned. Amanda saw it all and was rather curious about all of it herself. That's why she followed after them.
...
Dorumon
Dorumon might have somehow ended up in the human world, but Kuwagamon was still chasing after him. Dorumon kept weaving around tried to avoid Kuwagamon, but Kuwagamon was hot on his tail. Dourmon was in some real trouble as Kuwagamon swung one of his claws and smashed it against Dorumon. It knocked him right out of the air and he was going to crash into the ground, but he was saved. Haru was actually the first to arrive on the scene with him jumping against a car and was able to catch Dorumon without a moment's hesitation.
"That was close." Haru said as Kuwagamon flew right over his head. "Hey. Are you okay?" Dorumon was thrown for a loop for a moment, but he was able to pull himself together and was met with Dorumon.
"That was not a fun ride." Dorumon said.
"Who are you?" Haru questioned.
"My name is Dorumon." He said as he started flying again.
"Dorumon? Are you one of those digimon I've been hearing about?" Haru questioned, but there was no time. They heard Kuwagamon coming back around for them. "No time to talk! Kuwagamon has some serious issues!" He said as he started moving with Haru following. Now Kuwagamon was chasing after both of them.
"What does that thing want?" Haru questioned.
"I might have taken a little food that was his, but he's a lot angrier than I thought!" Dorumon complained. As the two of them were running, they were met with a large blue dragon digimon as he flew in and smashed his fist against Kuwagamon.
"Yeah! Go, ExVeemon!" Davis cheered as he joined the fight. "Hey, are you two okay?"
"Uh... Yeah..." Haru said as he and Dorumon weren't sure what to think of this.
"You and your partner should keep back." Davis said.
"Partner? What?" Haru said as he didn't get it. ExVeemon and Kuwagamon kept on fighting each other. While they were fighting, Mary and the others showed up and saw what was going on.
"I was right. More digimon." Mary said. The fight was starting to get out of control as the two digimon flew around and smashed near the building right next to the three of them and caused some damage. The building took some damage from that. When those two pulled away, a piece of the building fell off and was heading for Mary.
"Mary! Above you!" Ben called as it was about to land on top of her and was going to crush her. However, that was when Haru jumped in pushed her out of the way before she got crushed.
"That was close." Haru said. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah..." Mary said as she was amazed with how brave he just acted.
"That was close. Nice save, man." Taka said. That was when Amanda showed up and tackled both Taka and Ben down just as Exveemon was thrown over their heads.
"You two might want to keep your heads down." Amanda said.
"Come on, ExVeemon! Get back up!" Davis called.
"This is starting to get out of hand. Something has to be done or else someone is going to get hurt." Haru said.
"I'm sorry. This is my fault." Dorumon said. "He was chasing after me and I ended up here somehow. Kuwagamon is here because of me, so I should try to lure him away from here." He was about to fly off, but Haru grabbed him by the tail.
"Hold up. You don't even know where to go." Haru said. "It's not your fault, it was just a freaky accident that happened."
"Yeah, but I need to do something." Dorumon said.
"Well, you don't need to do it alone." Haru said. Dorumon couldn't believe what he was hearing. Is Haru offering to help him? Bonds can be formed just from a mere meeting. They're the first step to forming something good. Just as something was starting to build, Kuwagamon was coming at them again.
"Watch out! That thing is coming back!" Mary said.
"I got it!" Dorumon said as he tried to stop the attack.
"Metal Cannon!" Dorumon tried firing blasts of metal at him, but they all bounced right off of Kuwagamon and he just kept coming. Everyone moved out of the way as it just flew right through them.
"It's coming back!" Taka said as Kuwagamon was coming back for them.
"It's no good. I'm just not strong enough." Dorumon said.
"ExVeemon, get back in there!" Davis said.
"Right." ExVeemon said as he pulled himself together and was going to get back in the fight.
"Wait. I don't know what's going on, but I think this is something Dorumon should do." Haru said as he couldn't ignore this feeling. "Dorumon doesn't need a handicap or anything. He wanted to do this, so let him do it." Haru was speaking highly of Dorumon and yet they only just now met. "I'm type of guy the trust what he feels, and right now I feel this is Dorumon's fight."
"Wow. Thanks. Who are you?" Dorumon questioned.
"It's Haru. Haru Iruma." He introduced. With the introduction of names, something happened. A light shined between the two of them and something was formed. It was perfectly round and pure white with a screen that fits right in Haru's hand. "What is this thing?"
"A digivice?!" Davis said as he couldn't believe his eyes that one was right there. "I've never seen that model before." A digivice is a symbol that forms an everlasting bond between human and digimon. One forming before them now means that these two have a strong connection, but this a new model that's never been seen before. What could that mean? Whatever the case, the digivice emitted a bright light with Dorumon feeling greatly empowered.
"Dorumon digivolve to..." Dorumon felt power flowing through him as his body was changing with him growing stronger and becoming fiercer, even actually growing. "Dorugamon!"
Dorumon actually went through a metamorphosis that causes them to become stronger. All of them were shocked that this happened right before their eyes. That means the fight was on. Kuwagamon went right at them again, but Dorugamon flew in and tackled against him. With more power, Kuwagamon was knocked back.
"Cannonball!" Dorugamon gathered some power in his mouth and fired a powerful shot that blasted Kuwagamon.
"Incredible..." Davis said. Then, he looked and saw the light in the sky was starting to fade. "Hey! We need to get Kuwagamon back through there before that light is gone! ExVeemon, help him out!"
"I got it!" ExVeemon said as he flew in and helped. He got behind Kuwagamon and and grabbed a hold of him, tried to force him back through the gate. Dorugamon helped out with that as he smashed into Kuwagamon. The two of them forced Kuwagamon back into the sky and threw Kuwagamon right through the light and sent Kuwagamon back to his own world just as the light faded away.
"That was..." Taka mumbled as none of them were sure what to think as those who never saw this before. "What the heck did we just witnessed?!"
"I'm not sure." Haru said as the two dragons came back and became Veemon and Dorumon again.
"That was amazing! I've never digivolved like that before!" Dorumon said.
"What just happened?" Haru questioned as he and the others were perplexed about the whole thing. Just then, something else happened. Mary, Amanda, Taka, and Ben each had a light shined in their own pockets and they apparently had these new digivices as well.
"Where did these come from?" Amanda questioned.
"What's going on?" Mary said.
"I'll tell you what's going on." Davis said as they all looked at him, "It looks like you all just became digidestined like me."
"Digidestined? Like you?" Haru questioned. It would seem that the doorway to a new adventure has opened up.
