AN: Don't get too weirded out by Luna.

Inside a castle, the gods were having an event.

It was an event where they showed off their child.

The event was hosted by Hera.

Each and every god brought a child with them.

Loki brought Luna with her since Luna was free.

The event was a place where gossip was heard and connections were made.

Although Loki acted goofy, she was pretty intelligent.

Luna called her a clever girl once.

Looking around, Loki tried to find gods that would be of use to her.

For example, if she could find a god that made good potions, she could let her Familia access high-quality potions that could save their lives.

With the amount of money the Familia had, Loki was somewhat sure a god would walk up to her and offer their service in exchange for her patron.

Lilith walked up to Loki with Sellia by her side.

Sellia looked calm and composed while Lilith looked haughty.

"How unsightly seeing you here Loki, I thought you would be ashamed to show your face after that bathhouse incident. My mistake to think you didn't have thick skin."

Luna looked at Loki expectantly.

Loki sweat dropped.

Luna was definitely expecting her to deliver an insane counterattack.

Unfortunately, Loki couldn't think of a good one.

"A goddess like me has to have thick skin, unlike a thin skin like you."

Lilith blinked at Loki and rolled her eyes.

"Enough banter, I didn't grace your lowly presence for this. I instead have come here to warn you."

Loki made an exaggerated smile.

"Oh, do tell, I'd love to hear what ominous warning Little Lilith has for me."

A tick mark formed on Lilith's head but she calmed herself.

She would not play Loki's game, in fact, Loki would play her game.

"Your Familia has been rising like a shooting star. But as you know, the faster a shooting star is, the quicker it disappears. Many envious eyes are on you."

Loki frowned at Lilith.

A well-dressed masked gentleman appeared by Loki.

"Envious eyes like me."

Loki looked at him.

She had noticed him approaching long ago.

"Who are you?"

The gentleman bowed.

"I am Phthonus and I have a proposal."

Luna arched an eye.

Loki studied the man curiously.

"What's your proposal?"

Phthonus smiled deceitfully.

"Let's have a war game between our Familia. If you win, you can take what you wish. If I win, I'll take your Tanya."

Loki opened her slanted eyes slightly and they looked dangerous.

"Luna, what do you think of this?"

Luna placed a finger to her chin and became thoughtful.

Phthonus didn't seem like a famous god so he was most likely a weakling.

"There's some big secret I'll have to say to explain my thoughts, would you like to hear them?"

Loki found Luna's words strange, but the fact Luna spoke them without whispering meant the secret was probably okay for Lilith and Phthonus to hear.

"Go ahead."

Luna reached into her pocket and pulled out glasses which she placed on.

Loki was pretty sure Luna stole it from Kuro.

"Do you know the most important thing for a god is?"

Lilith, Loki, and Phthonus looked at each other.

Lilith gave her thought.

"Beauty?"

Luna shook her head.

Loki gave her thought.

"Intelligence?"

Luna shook her head.

Phthonus gave his thought.

"Power?"

Luna shook her head and gave the answer.

"Fame."

The three gods blinked at Luna and questioned in unison.

"Fame?"

Luna nodded and smiled mysterious.

"Let's just say, the more fame a god has, the more things are favorable for them. And it's not the type of fame you think it is. It's a special type of fame."

Lilith narrowed her eyes, she could see Luna wasn't lying.

"A special type of fame?"

Luna nodded wisely.

"Let's not fully delve into it. Instead, let's just list how high the fame of some gods are."

The three gods waited expectantly as Luna gathered her thoughts.

"Let's start with Zues, let's say his fame is around 100. As for Hera, her fame is around 85. Now then, why don't each of you guess how high your fame is."

Lilith guessed hers first.

"50."

In Lilith's opinion, it was a pretty high number.

Luna shook her head.

"Nope, your fame is around 90. Without a doubt, it's higher than Hera. Meaning things are more favorable for you than her."

Lilith blinked, she couldn't detect any lies.

Loki went next.

"95."

If some dofus like Lilith was that high, Loki was sure hers would be higher.

Luna beamed at Loki.

"So close, but it's around 105."

Loki's mouth hung slightly open.

She couldn't fully understand this special fame Luna was talking about, but it seemed very important.

Phthonus went next and he was sure his fame was pretty high.

"110."

Luna looked deadpanned at him for a moment.

She then proceeded to laugh and wheeze.

Phthonus frowned at the sight.

Luna recovered herself and looked him dead in the eyes.

"Your fame is around 5. Compared to other gods, you're basically a nobody. A nonexistence person."

Phthonus became shocked and then angry at her words.

"What did you say!?"

Luna looked at him with pity.

"Sorry to break it to you, but comparing yourself to Loki or Lilith is like a level 1 adventurer comparing themselves to a level 10 adventurer. From the moment you existed, your fame already decided your worth."

Phthonus calmed himself.

He would not get angered by a mere mortal.

Luna seemed to sense his thoughts.

"It's not impossible to increase your fame. But you know what they say. The rich get richer and the poor stay poor."

Luna turned to Loki.

"Just based on the difference in fame alone, you absolutely decimate him. Someone like him will only be able to use trickery to win. Something I'm sure you're well versed in. Anyway, I think we'll easily win a war game with him."

Loki couldn't detect any lies from Luna.

She turned to Phthonus.

"I accept your proposal."

Phthonus held up his hand with doubt.

"Wait, hold on."

Luna seemed to think of something and frowned.

"Based on the difference in fame alone, he shouldn't be able to face you. So someone's most likely backing him from behind the scenes. We'll have to inform Granny about this. Also, I'm pretty sure they'll make trouble for our new Familia members. I think it's best we drag them into the light where we can see them. It's your move."

Hearing Luna's words, Loki's gaze turned cold towards Phthonus.

It seems she would have to initiate a war game herself if Phthonus refused to do so.
