AN: Was thinking of having Tanya and Bell relationship like Makima and Denji, but I don't think I would like to write about Tanya mentally scarring Bell by killing his loved ones. Also probably shouldn't have made Luna Irish since they cuss a lot, but oh well.

Mary Sue was about to retreat with the army when Degurechaff slammed into her.

Her consciousness quickly faded.

When she woke up, she saw she was in an interrogation room with a single light bulb above her.

She was tied to a steel chair with no computation orb on her.

Degurechaff came into the room.

"Looks like you're awake. I was planning on dousing you with cold water if you weren't."

Mary Sue glared at the little girl hatefully.

Degurechaff gave a chuckle.

"I like that look in your eyes, just like your father. Before he blew up."

Remembering her father, Mary Sue gritted her teeth at Degurechaff.

Degurechaff pulled out her knife and played with it.

She grinned insanely at Mary Sue.

"Start praying to your god. You won't be saved though. Because right here, right now, at this moment, I am your god. I'll carve you up real nicely and make you pray to me for mercy."

Terror took over Mary as Degurechaff closed in on her.

Painful screams ushered out of the room.

By the time Degurechaff was done, Mary Sue was a whimpering mess.

Degurechaff looked coldly at her.

"Looks like your god didn't answer your prayer."

Degurechaff raised her knife to finish Mary Sue.

Time stopped as Being X took in the sight.

Not once did Mary Sue pray to Tanya for mercy.

She only prayed to it.

Such devotion should not be forsaken to Degurechaff.

"Let her go."

There was a surprise on Degurechaff's face and then a cold grin.

"You're going to save this one but not the others? She must be really special. Now I don't want to kill her but torture her more. I'll make her my special little bitch and break her till there's not a single trace of faith left in her!"

Being X became silent for a moment.

"If you let her go, I'll leave you be."

Thoughts fired through Degurechaff's head.

She thought of the peace she could have, her battalion could have, and this world could have.

Fighting, Degurechaff was tired of it, no more.

"End the war in the Empire's favor. Never ever interact with me in any way whatsoever again. And I'll let her go by the end of the war."

There was silence in the air.

Being X finally replied.

"If you keep your promise, I will keep mine."

Tanya woke up.

To think she would dream of those memories from long ago.

Memories that seemed so far away now that she was in this world.

Looking around her table, Tanya found the reports of Operation Stand Storm.

By the reports was a Golden Egg.

She looked at Luna's short dungeon report and quickly read it.

It was trouble, real trouble.

She had to find out which Familia they messed with.

Could conflict be avoided?

What price would they have to pay?

So many thoughts swirled in Tanya's head.

All for a Jack Bird's Golden Egg which she held in her hand.

Honestly, they didn't really need it.

As long as their Familia kept growing, the amount of money they made would exponentially eclipse the Jack Bird's Golden Egg.

From what she could tell, the egg was only worth a decent house in Orario.

Loki barged into Tanya's office without knocking.

She would prefer it if Loki knocked.

There was a serious look on Loki's face.

"I heard everything from Luna."

She looked at the Jack Bird's Golden Egg and took it from Tanya.

"All because of this egg."

Tanya thought of a solution to the problem.

"Let's apologize and give it to them to avoid trouble."

Loki looked at Tanya weirdly.

"No."

Tanya became confused by Loki's word.

"What do you mean?"

Loki sighed and gave Tanya back the egg.

"The conference of the gods will be coming up soon. At level 2, you'll all be getting nicknames. If we apologize, our Familia will lose face and you'll all get terrible nicknames."

Grim settled on Loki's face.

"Prepare everyone, I know which Familia we're going to be clashing with soon."

Tanya narrowed her eyes.

"Are you going to propose a war game?"

Loki nodded at Tanya.

"Of course."

Far away in another mansion known as the headquarters of the Lilith Familia.

Lilith held her dear child Dena in her arms.

She wept for her poor child who was still alive but whose face was caved in.

"Who did this?"

One of her children came forward.

"The Loki Familia, goddess."

Lilith beautiful face seethed with rage.

"Loki!"

Immediately, Lilith decided to propose a war game.

She would make Loki and her entire Familia pay.

On a rooftop, Kuro was sunbathing.

It was one of the many things in life he enjoyed.

Today was a great day.

The sun felt very nice.

The ghost of Tanya appeared above him.

Kuro opened his eyes and wondered if he was hallucinating.

"Are you the ghost of Christmas past? If so, I have no money so leave me alone."

Ghost Tanya blinked at Kuro.

Kuro waved his hand to shoo her away.

"Listen, man, you ain't making me give a single Valis to the poor okay, so go, shoo shoo!"

Ghost Tanya took a deep breath.

"Kuro it's me."

Kuro covered his ears with his hand and closed his eyes.

"La la la la la, I can't hear you."

Ghost Tanya facepalmed.

"Are you still sore because I bested you in combat?"

Kuro glared at her.

"You did not best me, it was a tie, and who are you? There should be only one Degurechaff."

Ghost Tanya decided to give a short explanation.

"Long story short. I successfully became a god from that wish I made. And then I found you hanging out here so I dropped myself from the past here."

Kuro blinked at Ghost Tanya.

"OK?"

Tanya decided to elaborate slowly.

"Listen Kuro, although I became a god, I still couldn't get my hands on Being X to get my revenge."

Kuro scrunched his eyes at her.

"For a man, you sure can hold a grudge like a woman. Anyway, what does this have to do with me? From what I remember, I don't owe you any more favors. Unless of course, you're willing to do me the favor of fighting you at your old prime again."

Ghost Tanya shook her head.

"Can't do that, but I can send you to a world where you would like to go after you die."

Kuro closed his eyes and relaxed.

"Not interested, now go away."

Ghost Tanya sighed and rolled her eyes, this was going to be frustrating.

She would rather go to Current Tanya and explain the situation but Current Tanya would definitely start going into a Frenzy if a suspicious god like her appeared.

For now, she needed Kuro's help to edge Current Tanya towards getting her revenge.
