Chapter 79
Pokémon Elite 4 part 1
Lincoln and friends were on the videophone talking to their family and friends as they send data from their pokedex.
"Man, can't believe you get to fight the elite 4!" Lynn said."
"Yup, and it'll be my toughest challenge yet," Lincoln said."
"I wonder how strong they are," Leni said."
"They're elites Leni, so they're strong," Lori said."
"Well, we did look them up, and we learned that Lorelei uses ice types, Buno uses fighting types, Agatha uses poison types, and Lance uses Dragon types," Clyde said."
"Whoa, someone with the same name as our uncle cool," Lana said."
Lynn sr. mutters under his breath.
"Not only that, but they also only use five Pokémon," Ronnie Anne said."
"So, you'll be using your fire types?" Lisa asked."
"Yup," Lincoln replied."
"We Know you'll win kiddo," Lynn sr. said."
"Thanks, I'm more worried about the champion," Lincoln said."
"From what we heard, he only uses two Pokémon and wins," Bobby said."
"Dang, only two, he sounds tuff alright," Luna said."
"don't worry, I'm sure your brother will be fine," Rita said feeling worried."
"Thanks mom, welp we'll call later," Lincoln said."
Everyone waves goodbye as the videophone turns off. the next day Lincoln enters the stadium.
"Alright, it's time for our winner to try and enter the hall of fame!" the announcer said."
The crowd cheers in excitement.
"Now, here comes the beautiful ice queen, Lorelei!" the announcer said."
Lorelei comes out from the other side of the stadium as ice like fireworks blew from both sides. All the males were admiring Lorelei as she waves at the Croud.
In the audience,
"She seems... popular," Ronnie Anne said holding togepi." (thinking)' Lincoln better not fall for her.'
At the loud house,
Everyone was surprised to see Lorelei. the guys were making the same face as they look at Professor ivy and Ms. DiMartino, the girls looked jealous after seeing her.
"Man, first Ms. DiMartino, professor ivy and now this chick, what do they do to look so hot?" Rusty asked."
"She's not that hot," Carlota said."
"I agree, she looks like she's trying too hard," Leni said."
"Lincoln better beat her," Lori said."
"I agree, she's making our boys fall for her," Lola said."
Back at the stadium,
"I'm glad you survived the saint Anne," Lorelei said as she winked at Lincoln making him blush.
(coming to his senses feeling a chill down his spine)" you know me, I'm the man with the plan," Lincoln said."
"Then, let's get started," Lorelei said."
She sends out, Cloyster.
Back at the loud house,
"What, that's not an ice type," Lola said."
"Actually, it is, thanks to the data that Pokémon it both water and ice," Lisa said."
Back at the stadium,
Lincoln sends out Kingler.
"Use crab hammer!" Lincoln said."
Kingler uses crab hammer on Cloyster, but to both Kingler and Lincoln's surprise Cloyster caught it.
(surprised)" What the?!" Lincoln said."
Lorelei snaps her fingers, making Clyoster spin Kingler around really fast then lest go sending Kingler towards the wall behind Lincoln. Lincoln turns around and sees Kingler knocked out.
"Kingler is unable to battle, Clyoster is the winner," the referee said."
"Word of advice sweety, don't think the same move will work all the time," Lorelei said."
Back at the loud house,
"I guess the same strategies don't always work," Lynn said."
"Important lesson to learn LJ," Lynn sr. said."
She nods in agreement.
Back at the stadium,
Lincoln recalls Kingler.
"Go Brute Root!"
He sends out Venosaur.
"Use petal dance and razor leaf!" Lincoln said."
Brute root uses petal dance on Cloyster.
"Defend with your shell," Lorelei said."
Cloyster closes it shell as Brute Root's double attack hits it. it looked like it was done, it looked like Cloyster withstood it, but it fell, when it shell opened Cloyster was passed out.
"Cloyster is unable to battle, Venosaur win," the referee said."
In the audience there were mixtures of cheers and boos.
"What's their problem?" Ronnie Anne said."
"She is popular," Clyde replied."
Back at the stadium,
"Jinx, you're up!" Lorelei said."
She sends out a purple Pokémon with long blond hair.
Back at the loud house,
"That's a weird looking Pokémon," Lola said."
"Yeah, and why call it Jinx?" Margo asked."
Lynn feels guilt hearing the word.
Back at the stadium,
Lincoln recalls Brute Root.
"Houndoom go!" Lincoln said."
He sends out Houndoom.
"Use flamethrower!" Lincoln said."
"Reflect!" Lorelei said."
Jinx uses reflect to shield itself from flamethrower.
"Double team!" Lorelei said."
Jinx makes copies of itself.
"Don't be tricked Houndoom, use fire fang!" Lincoln said."
Houndoom searches for the real Jinx, he then uses fire fang only to hit a fake.
"Draining kiss!" Lorelei said."
Jinx then reappears then uses draining kiss on Houndoom. his energy was sucked up and Houndoom was rubbing his face on the ground in disgust.
"So gross, so gross," Houndoom yelled."
"I know how you feel buddy, it would be worse like getting kissed by my great aunt ruth," Lincoln said as he shuddered."
Back at the loud house,
After hearing Lincoln's comment, the loud sisters and Lynn sr. shuddered the thought.
"I agree with Lincoln, getting kissed by aunt ruth would be bad," Lori said."
"Come on kids, she's not that bad," Rita said."
The loud sisters and Lynn sr. gave Rita deadpan looks.
"Anyway, that move makes that Pokémon look like a ninja," Carl said."
"That's true," CJ said."
Back at the stadium,
"Use scary face!" Lorelei said."
Jinx makes a scary face, but it didn't work.
"I've seen scarier," Houndoom said thinking of Lucy."
"Fire blast!" Lincoln said."
Houndoom fires a fire blast at Jinx, the attack knocks her out.
"Jinx is unable to battle, Houndoom wins," the referee said."
More mixtures of cheers and boos was heard.
"Sandslash, go!" Lorelei said."
She sends out her Sandslash but looking blue.
"What happened to your Sandslash?" Lincoln asked."
"Simple, my Sandslash is an ice type," Lorelei replied."
"Whoa, cool," Lincoln said."
Back at the loud house,
"Fascinating, a similar Pokémon but being a different type," Lisa said."
"That's so cool, I wonder if there's more out there," Lana said."
"Indeed," Carlos said."
Back at the stadium, in the audience,
"Wow, the same Pokémon but a different type amazing," Clyde said."
"That is really cool," Bobby said."
"Ice claw!" Lorelei said."
Sandslash's claws turned sharp as ice and lunges at Houndoom.
"Smog!" Lincoln said."
Houndoom shoots a smog of smoke to cover himself and dodges the attack.
"Fire fang!" Lincoln said."
Houndoom uses fire fang and bites Sandslash, with the smog causes a big explosion. the smoke cleared revealing Sandslash was knocked out.
"Sandslash is unable the battle, Houndoom wins," the referee said."
Back at the loud house,
"Nice, using the smoke to cover and add power to the attack," Zach said."
"I'll say," Liam said."
Back at the stadium,
"You're up Ninetails," Lorelei said."
She sends out her Ninetails sharing a similar appearance to Sandslash.
"Another one, its beautiful," Lincoln said."
Back at the loud house,
Some of the girls squealed seeing Ninetails.
"O-M-G, it's so beautiful!" Carlota said."
"It's fur looks like a cloud!" Leni said."
"I want to feel it," Lola said."
"It can be a perfect model," Lori said."
"Yeah," Stella said."
"I would definitely have it as a partner," Girl Jordan said."
Back at the stadium, in the audience,
"So, that's what Vulpix will evolve into, well her fire type anyway," Clyde said."
"I'm just glad Lincoln has brought her down to her last two Pokémon," Ronnie Anne said."
Togepi giggles.
"Flamethrower!" Lincoln said."
Houndoom fires flamethrower.
"Aurora vail!" Lorelei said."
Ninetails uses Aurora vail and lessens the attack power. the attack hits but it didn't do much damage.
"Dang," Lincoln said."
"Hail!" Lorelei said."
Ninetails makes it hail. the move causes some damage but not enough.
"Aurora beam!" Lorelei said."
Ninetails fires Aurora beam at Houndoom. the attack was effective.
"Fire blast!" Lincoln said."
"Ice beam!" Lorelei said."
The two Pokémon's attacks clash, Houndooms attack was stronger beating the ice beam attack. the attack hits Ninetails, the attack was strong enough to knock out Ninetails.
"Ninetails is unable to battle, Houndoom wins," the referee said."
"Yes, just one more to go," Ronnie Anne said."
Togepi giggles. Lorelei pulls out her last pokeball and kisses it.
"Dewgong, go!" Lorelei said."
She sends out Dewgong.
Back at the loud house,
"Isn't that the same Pokémon misty had at her gym?" Luan asked."
"Yeah, we saw it at her gym, it was one of the performers," Frida replied."
Back at the stadium,
"Surf!" Lorelei said."
Dewgong uses surf.
"Dodge and use iron tail!"
Houndoom jumps to dodge surf, he then uses iron tail. the attack hits and causes damage.
"Aurora beam!" Lorelei said."
Dewgong fires Aurora beam at Houndoom causing enough damage to knock him out.
"Houndoom is unable to battle, Dewgong is the winner," the referee said."
The guys in the audience cheered.
"This must be her ace Pokémon," Bobby said."
"Rapidash, go!" Lincoln said."
He sends out Rapidash.
Back at the loud house,
"Is he nuts, Rapidash is a fire type," Rusty said."
"It'll be an easy lost for him," Carl said."
"You don't know that!" Leni said."
Back at the stadium,
"Hydro pump!" Lorelei said."
Dewgong fires a hydro pump.
"Dodge and use double kick!" Lincoln said."
Rapidash dodges the attack and uses double kick. the attack was effective.
"Aurora beam!" Lorelei said."
"Fire blast!" Lincoln said."
The two Pokémon fire their attacks causing them both to be sent back injured. the two Pokémon stand back up still injured.
"Flame charge!" Lincoln said."
"Aqua jet!" Lorelei said."
Rapidash stomps and covered herself in fire and charged, Dewgong covers itself in water and charged. they clash causing a big explosion sending the Pokémon back heavenly breathing. as they continued breathing, Dewgong suddenly falls.
"Dewgong is unable to battle, Rapidash wins, thus the victor goes to Lincoln.
The audience cheers and cry while Clyde, Bobby, and Ronnie Anne cheered on Lincoln's victory as he pets Rapidash on her head.
"Amazing, Lincoln has beaten the first of the elite four!" the announcer said."
Back at the loud house,
Everyone mostly the girls cheered for Lincoln's victory.
"Yes, Lincoln beat that witch!" Lori said."
"Yeah," the girls said."
"I still don't see why you hate her so much," Carl said."
"It's a girl thing, so drop it," Lola said."
Back at the stadium,
Lorelei and Lincoln walk up to each other and shake hands.
"I'm very impressed, using your fire type to beat a water type," Lorelei said."
"Thanks," Lincoln said."
"Well then, good luck with the other three, they'll be a lot tougher," Lorelei said."
She suddenly kisses Lincoln's forehead as the audience had a mixture of cheers and jealously as Lincoln blushes. Ronnie Anne looked more jealous as she sees a kiss mark on his head scaring both Clyde and Bobby. at the loud house, everyone had the same reaction.
That's chapter 79, next chapter, Lincoln faces Bruno.
