"Hmm…" Tomoe tossed his last article of clothing into the suitcase. "Creative Writing-Daily, Piano-Daily, Nature Hikes-Tuesday and Thursday, Horseback Riding-Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Athletic Credits? Why do we need those human classes?"

"Lemme see," Inuyasha replied, taking the pamphlet and popping an M&M into his mouth. "Hmm…the choices for Athletics are…weightlifting, water-skiing, the pool, jogging, hiking, biking, and…rock climbing! Hey this sounds kinda fun."

"No," Hiei replied, throwing popcorn at the dog. "There's no way I'm doing sports at camp. I'd probably end up killing one of them and then where would we be?! We'd never subdue the wench like that!"

"You have to do something daily," Kurama replied. "And you have to go on a cliff!"

"Shut…you know I hate heights!" Yusuke muttered, annoyed.

"Don't you want to do something daring?" Rin asked. "To impress her?"

"Fine, whatever," Yusuke replied. "Be better off fighting for her like I planned…what's on your schedule for Camp Arnold?"

"Photography-Daily, Sketching-Daily, Dance-Daily," Rin replied. "It's all identical to hers. We need to take a daily class together. You wanna try dance? Bet she likes guys who can dance."

"No, I hate dancing in front of people…but I guess I could try sketching or something." Yusuke groaned. "All these girl classes are gonna make us all look bad!"

"Speak for yourself." Tomoe put in a blank sketchbook that he had but never used, and put it in his backpack.

"What do you have in yours Hiei?" asked Kurama.

"Books…my sword—"

"You're taking your sword to camp?" Yusuke exclaimed. "That wasn't the plan! Spirit World is gonna FRY us!"

"I have a trunk with a lock, so it's not like it'll get stolen, Detective," Hiei replied nonchalantly.

"That's not the point! You don't bring swords to camp!" Yusuke replied.

"What? I'm bringing mine!" Rin announced.

"You're different." Yusuke snapped. "Your Demon Heart is sealed in yours. Inuyasha you better not be bringing yours."

"Of course I am!" Inuyasha shouted. "I'm not comfortable without it! You try goin' without your spirit energy, stupid detective!"

"Detective," Hiei said. "The Spirit World said demons are going to be rabid for the maiden. Best idea for winning her is to come to her defense, correct?"

Yusuke sighed. "Fine, it's not my skin on the line."

Tomoe grinned. "Some of us don't need toys."

"Yes, yes," Kurama said. "You're very special now please kindly shut your mouth."

The three demons put their swords in their trunks, locked them, then rezipped their backpack and set them on top.

"Good night, demon comrades," Yusuke grinned. "Good luck on Operation: Peach Picking!"

Known only to them was the maiden sleeping in her bed nice and cozy, excited for the next day and camp. Her 16th birthday on the horizon and her ripening upon them, subtle and sweet; an elixir to all demons.
