"Awaken."
Kuri was tossing and turning in her bed.
"The beginning of the end."
Kuri gasped.
"He who shall destroy everything has awakened.
A vision formed in her dreams.
There was a man. He had white hair, striking hetochromial eyes (one grey one red), wore all black. He had a tentacle shaped kagune extending from his back.
"Kuri..." He called to her. "Light does not always equate to good. Darkness does not always equate to evil."
"Who are you?" Kuri reached out to him.
"I am..." A dark smile burst on his face.
Somehow he still looked much better when he smiled, even that smile—he didn't look so sad.
"You must be who I search for. Such a bright shine."
He leaned closer, smile widening impossibly. "I bet you taste delicious…"
"AWAKEN!"
As Kuri opened her eyes, she saw the same man's face, walking across the crosswalk as she slammed into him at 75mph.
