Chapter 2

Lilith leaves The Emperor's Coven.

Once at the castle Lilith went in. She walked through the halls. And walked up to the thrown room doors. She looked at the guards and asked "Is Emperor Belos in?" They nodded and replied "Yes he is Ms. Clawthorne."

"I need to talk to him alone." stated Lilith

The guards opened the door and Lilith walked in. Lilith walked into the thrown room and up to the thrown. Emperor Belos saw Lilith and asked "Ah Lilith what do you need?"

"Something has come up in my family. And I need to leave the coven and be with them." replied Lilith

"You knew going into this. That you'd be away from your family." informed Emperor Belos

"Yes I know but something has come up. I miss them very much. And I need to leave." Lilith stated again

"If you leave there goes our deal." stated Belos

"I've been doing research on Eda's curse. And I don't think that there is. A way to cure or heal it." informed Lilith

"You dare question me rather or not I can heal her curse!" boomed Belos

"Well yes considering you haven't been. Able to cure or heal your own curse." stated Lilith

Belos stood up, grabbed his staff, and yelled "I'll teach you to question me! And I'll show you the consequences for leaving the coven!" Lilith summoned her staff and Belos attacked. Five minutes later Belos had Lilith pinned against the wall.

"I have a little secret to for you Lilith. I never planed on healing your sister's curse. I was either going to lock her in the conformatorium. Or have her petrified." growled Belos

"Why you lying sack of shit! I've sacrificed everything for this coven! I even did something terrible! All because I thought I'd be helping. Making things better for everyone on the Boiling Isles!" spat Lilith

Using her legs she kicked Belos away from her. Angry she went after Belos. Five more minutes went by and Lilith and Belos are injured. Both want to end the fight soon especially Belos. His curse is acting up and he wants to end this fight. So he decided to take advantage of his curse. His arm turned into what looks like a green tree root. It has a sharp point on the end. He studied Lilith's movement then attacked. The long appendage went through Lilith's chest. She gasped because of the pain. And the fact now she can barley breath. She quickly used a smoke screen spell and said "Dusk get me out of here."

The white raven at the end of her staff. Flapped it's wings and flew out of the thrown room. After Lilith left Belos yelled "Get me a palisman now!" A coven scout came in and gave Belos a palisman. With Lilith her staff has made it's way out of the castle. Now it's heading it's way toward Bonesborough. Her staff flew Bonesborough and is headed toward Eda's house. But Lilith had been loosing blood and can barley breath. Her staff is 200 yards from Eda's house. When Lilith lost consciousness and she and her staff. Went crashing down into the woods below.

At Eda's house Eda is up and, she has breakfast, and read Lilith's note. She has been waiting for Lilith for a while now. Eda is getting worried so she summoned her staff. She went outside and got on her staff. Eda headed off in the direction of the castle. As she flew she looked around for Lilith. She is only 200 yards from her house. When she noticed that something is off. It looks like someone has crashed. Eda looked and gasped when she saw Lilith. She flew down and landed next to Lilith. Eda can see blood and can heard. That Lilith is having trouble breathing. She went up to Lilith and can tell she's hurt bad. Eda knows some healing magic but not enough to help Lilith.

So she tapped Owlbert and said "Owlbert go get Lyra for me please." Owlbert turned from wood to a real owl. He hooted and flew off. Lyra is a healing witch and is Eda's mentor. While Eda waited she got to work healing what she can. Ten minutes later Lyra landed near by. She ran up to Eda and asked "How can I help?" Eda looked at Lyra and replied "I need help healing Lilly. She's in bad shape and can barley breath." Lyra knelt down next to Eda. She both helped and taught Eda what to do at the same time. Soon Lilith took a deep breath.

Eda and Lyra say back and Lyra said "I know your house is closer. But it would be a good idea. To take Lilith to the clinic in Bonesborough. That way she can be kept an eye on." Eda nodded an she and Lyra carefully picked up Lilith. They carried Lilith to the clinic in Bonesborough. Once in the clinic Lyra asked "Is there am empty room?" A healer saw Lyra and replied "Yes there is room 10 is open." Lyra and Eda carried Lilith to room 10. Then they laid Lilith on the bed. Then Lyra turned to the healer and said "Nina make sure the others keep. A eye on Lilith she's in rough shape and weak." Nina nodded and said "I'll pass it along to everyone on staff. And eve leave a note."

With that said Nina left to room. Eda looked at Lyra and asked "What do I owe you?"

"You don't owe me anything. Lilith is your family. Plus it was a good way. To continue to teach you healing magic." replied Lyra

"Thank you so much Lyra." stated Eda

"No problem I'll be checking in on Lilith. While I was healing her. I noticed that her left hip and upper leg. Are badly fractured hopefully it heals well." informed Lyra

With that said Lyra left the room. Eda went over to the chair next to Lilith's bed. She held Lilith's hand and said "Oh Lilly you didn't have to leave the coven for us." Lilith only moaned in pain as a response.
