And we continue...

Warnings: None whatsoever.

Wyvern walked alongside his king. His steps slow and steady. His tail swayed one side to another so he could remain balanced. Wyvern instinctively tried to walk with elegance, but he wasn't sure why. Perhaps it was the fact he was walking along side a king, HIS king.

"You seem to have taken control of your movements, Wyvern." Predaking noted with a proud smile.

Wyvern sheepishly smiled back. It seemed no matter what he did Predaking was in awe. He could blink and his king would praise him.

Wyvern was loving this attention.

They made thier way through the hallways. Wyvern would occasionally twitch at the echoes of clicking, the shuffling of peds, machinery churning, and the faint whispers of soldiers aboard the ship.

"Did you see the new predacon?" one whispered.

"Yeah, did you hear how its arms were blown off?" another spoke.

"I know. I kinda feel bad for the fella."

Wyvern looked down with embarrassment at the reminder of his predicament. He fought the urge to think of the events of that explosion. He pushed those thoughts away and buried them down into his mind. Now was not the time for that.

Predaking noticed the quietness of his company. "Are you feeling well? I didn't take you from the medbay too soon, did I?" He spoke with such worry, stopping in his tracks to look over his fellow predacon.

Wyvern shook his helm. "N-No I just...can hear the things that the others on this ship say. Some were speaking of me."

Predaking gave him a strange look. Then he gave thier surroundings a thorough look, listening intently. He looked back at Wyvern. "I do not hear any of the vehicons conversing. They are not speaking ill of you are they? If they so dared I will find them and correct thier crude behavior right away."

"No! they are only stating what has happened...I just don't want to be reminded of that." Wyvern looked back down with glossy optics.

The screams of the other predacons in pain.

He pushed that memory aside at once. Now was not the time for that!

Predaking placed his large servo on Wyvern's shaky shoulder. "Let us continue our tread to the flight deck. When we arrive, you and I shall have a very important conversation."

Wyvern didn't look up at Predaking, he simply nodded his helm.

The predacon leader hesitated then rubbed the others backplates. It was the only form of comfort he could think of.

Wyvern was surprised at the gesture...but it felt soothing, so he made no attempt to end it.

The two once more began walking through the halls. Some of the vehicons would peak around the corners, but quickly fled at the sight of Predaking's snarl. It didn't take long to arrive at the flight deck.

The winds outside whirled through his helm and the workers talked rather loudly(He was beginning to realize his hearing was getting stronger since the medbay), his helm twitched at the unfamiliar noises. He gazed at the closed door anxiously.

He watched close by as Predaking stepped forward and the doors hissed open. Wyvern took a deep intake of the fresh air that wafted into his sensors. The cool air felt rather nice on his metal. Still, he wasn't sure about going out there. He most definitely wasn't interested!

His leader turned to him with calm optics and a warm smile, gesturing for the other to follow. Wyvern sighed heavily, he couldn't disappoint his king so soon after thier introduction, it would be unbecoming of him.

The predacon moved to his leaders side, tucking himself behind Predaking as the exited the luxury of cover. Why did they have to leave the indoors? He wanted to go back to the med bay and take up that offer for a new paint job.

He hissed at the blaring engine of the ship. It was very noisy out here. Why was everything in this existence so noisy?

A bright light forced him to adjust his optics. His jaw dropped at the sight of a vast and ever so blue sky that looked like it never ended. He stayed close to his leader's side, his optics filled with interest. What more wondrous things did he not know of?

Wyvern grinned and let out a small giggle at the stupidity of his nervousness. "The sky is astounding! are those clouds? How fluffy they look!" The predacon laughed like a youngling, so full of sweet innocence. He wanted to be out there, soaring in the neverending skies.

Predaking tilted his helm in amusement, this one was strange indeed.

Wyvern's helm jerked one way to another, searching for more things of interest. The warship's deck seemed to have little activities than he had hoped for. Only some satellites and monitors. And small bots...he wanted to greet them.

Predaking turned to finely speak to his brethren, but he had vanished from his previous position. Where had he sauntered off to?!

Wyvern sprinted over to a small group of vehicon troopers. He ignored the fact these soldiers had initially panicked at the sight of a energetic titian of a being lumbering towards them. He counted seven identical bots. His lips curled up to show a mouth full of great big denta. His sharp black fangs glistened with a dark menace.

Wyvern was smiling.

"Greetings! I am Wyvern, and it is so wonderful to meet you." The predacon continued his friendly smile(however unnerving it was for others). These vehicons looked to one another for answers, then starred dumbfounded at this behemoth that just wanted to say 'hi'.

One stepped out from the group. He was just as identical as any of the other vehicons that he stood with. And like all the others he: Had a purple/black color scheme, barely reached above the predacon's hip, had a red slit for 'optics', and sported only three digits.

It was peculiar that they all looked the same, but they didn't have the same sent! Wyvern took a deep intake of the vehicon that stepped out. He tucked that smell into the back of module(Just in case they are to cross paths again).

This vehicon lifted his servo in a friendly gesture, shifting it right to left(a wave). "We're jus' the maintenance crew, nothin' more nothin' less. No need to get all excited 'bout us." The bot spoke in a funny way.But Wyvern detected a hint of tiredness to this bots vocalizer.

Wyvern glared. Not at this vehicon, but rather his claim." What? No, no, no this is a very exuberant experience, since I have not meet many of you yet. So let me ask you this, what is your designation?" Wyvern leaned forward, awaiting an answer.

His words seemed to have sent the group into further surprise, they glanced amongst themselves with quite whispers, all of which Wyvern could hear rather clearly actually.

"Are you getting this?"

"What is with this mech?"

"That's sort of...sweet."

"Huh. That's a new one, 'what is your designation'."

"This mech can't be serious."

"SHUSH!" The leading vehicon spoke. All the others quickly hushed up. The vehicon looked back at predacon who twitched at the words of the others.

"To answer yer' question new mech, ima called terr-"

"Wyvern!"

Wyvern flinched at the upset sounding king who took him by the shoulder plates and forced Wyvern to face him. The predacon was startled by his kings actions. What had he done wrong?

"Wyvern you can't just run off. I should not have to come find you, It's-" Predaking cut himself off at seeing the coolant forming in the corners of Wyvern's four optics, he didn't understand why he was being scolded. Predaking sighed, he let go of the other and rubbed his faceplates. "I'm not angry with you, I was just worried. Come now, you and I need to have a important talk, privately." Predaking stressed the last word with a stern glare towards the vehicons. The troop quickly dispersed, getting back to thier work.

Wyvern shot a small glance at the vehicon who spoke to him so willingly. He would seek him out at a later time.

The predacon went to his king's side with an apologetic look, his tail limp on the ground. "I'm sorry, I was just curious." He whispered.

Predaking shook his helm. "There is no reason to apologize. I have yet to educate you, therefore your mistakes are very much my own." The king placed a servo to Wyvern's backplates, leading him over to the edge of the warship.

Wyvern stared over the edge of the ship. They were very high up into the sky, the green world below seemed so small. "What is it called?" He spoke softly.

"Earth." Predaking replied.

"Earth." Wyvern echoed back. "Are we going down there?" He questioned.

"Yes. It will provide a much calmer environment to safely converse. No audio receptors listening in, only us." Predaking explained softly. "Understood?"

Wyvern didn't answer back, but continued to admire the the world below. He wanted a closer look. The wind whooshed past his faceplates, as if to tell him he were to go with it. What reason did he have not to listen to this gust of wind?

He ever so casually stepped off the edge.

Predaking's surprised gasp as well as the various background noise faded away as Wyvern fell from the ship. His frame pushed against the air as he continued his plummet. In one swift motion he flipped himself over to face the warship. His leader dove off the edge, falling towards him.

Wyvern spread his frame so he would resist the air. He did this to slow his course, hoping Predaking would catch up.

Wyvern smiled at his king as he fell next to him.

"TRANSFORM THIS INSTANT!" Predaking yelled, (not an angry you-are-so-dead! yell, but a why-would-you-do-this-to-me? kind of yell).

Wyvern closed his optics, focusing on his components. He was in control, he could do this. That odd sensation he had felt only once before, now returned. His plating shifted and expanded as he reverted to his truest form.

Shrieking with triumph, Wyvern twisted his beast mode back around and flung his wings wide open(careful not to hit his king). His wings flapped in powerful, not-so-graceful strokes. This was his first official flight. And it felt amazing!

Wyvern did his best to fly at an angle, after all without his front two limbs he couldn't properly weigh himself in one direction or another.

Predaking followed suit, transforming a whole lot faster than his compatriot. The king swooped further from Wyvern before spreading his wings. Flying in place, just below the two legged predacon.

Predaking noticed that they weren't all that far from the ground below. He looked up at the other with an annoyed glare, huffing his displeasure towards his fellow predacon. He didn't understand the behavior this predacon, he didn't act like this at that age! And Predaking wasn't even that much older...

Wyvern gave his superior a jet black denta filled smile. Not feeling any remorse for his dangerous action. And why should he? Did his king not think he could pull it off(Well, to be fair Wyvern wasn't a hundred percent he could either, or why he had attempted such a stunt in the first place)? He had full confidence that he could transform in the sky!

Predaking shook his helm in disapproval, there was much to teach this one. He tilted his snout towards the ground, a gesture for them to descend.

Wyvern understood the cue, he tiled downward and let himself safely glide to down to Earth. His antenna twitched at all the motion coming from below. Even from this distance he could hear the faint echoes of the woods.

His course wasn't as graceful as he intended it to be; a few times Predaking had to slide underneath just so Wyvern wouldn't mess up his motion.

The two soon found themselves in a small clearing in the woods, a river close by.

Predaking dropped to firm ground with loud thud, his stance intimidating. Wyvern also dropped down from the air, however he ended up slamming his maw strait into the dirt. Wyvern made a mental side note to never lean while landing.

He didn't even get to use his front two limbs much, and he already missed them dearly.

Predaking transformed back into the bot mode, encouraging that Wyvern do the same.

With a slow transformation, he now stood in front of the king in his smaller form. "It's a shame we can't just talk via beast-mode." He huffed.

"Wyvern jumping off the ship without warning was ignorant and dangerous." Predaking spoke firmly, crossing his arms and showcasing a stern expression.

Wyverns tail tucked between his legs. He had angered his king again, and so soon as well. He suddenly remembered something from his incubation. That winged bot had hit Predaking for making a mistake. It made sense now, he was going to be hit with that terrible rod. He supposed he deserved it.

The smaller predacon held his helm low, "Forgive me once more my king, I will graciously except my punishment from the rod." he said quietly.

He noticed that his words had caused Predaking to flinch. The predacon leader moved forward and took both of Wyvern's shoulders. "Look at me, Wyvern." He commanded, but not in mean way.

Wyvern looked up confused, this isn't how it went.

"For my first teaching: I will never punish you physically. And if anyone on the Nemesis ever tries to treat you otherwise, know that I will bring my full wrath down upon them. That I promise." Predaking spoke in such a way that Wyvern knew he meant it.

His leader's servos slipped away from his frame. The other predacon stepped back.

"O-of course, I just a-assumed that is how things are done since...that winged bot had hurt you in the labs." Wyvern grimaced at the unpleasant memory. That had not been a very kind thing for the winged one to do, if such of thing truly was unnecessary.

Predaking frowned.

"That would be Starscream. Pay no heed to him, he is of no significance nor danger to us. I had merely tolerated his insolent actions, but now that I have you to consider, he will not be allowed to treat you the way i had been delt with." Predaking spoke with great valor.

Wyvern smiled widely, he was so blessed to have such a protective king. He would do his very best to serve and bring honor to his loving leader.

Loving. He hadn't known this concept, and yet...it was how he thought of this.

"My king, I wish to thank you for all that you are willing to do for my care. I may have not been in this world for long nor have I known you for long, but I can already sense that you are a spark worthy of a predacon's companionship. And I vow that I will gratefully serve you as a devoted subject." Wyvern vowed with the purest intent. He was still only solar-cycles out of the incubator(most of that time in stasis lock), but he knew deep within his very spark that this was his purpose.

Predaking stood proudly Infront of his first subject. This devotion was exactly what he wanted, and as a most admirable king, he too would reciprocate that devotion.

"Wyvern, it is my duty as your king to protect you and serve along side you. I do not want to be just an authoritative figure to you, but also, if you would allow, a good friend." Predaking smiled the warmest of smiles.

All of this felt so surreal for the two of them, everything they could have hoped for was unraveling before them so quickly. But they knew that this was how it was destined to be. Predaking and Wyvern; The King and his loyal subject.

Wyvern's tail wagged back and forth(against his will of course[He totally wasn't overjoyed beyond his own comprehension!]). The smaller predacon felt his spark beat within his cheastplates. He just felt so wonderful at this moment. Wyvern had to admit that he had been feeling rather lost in the events of the not-so-long-ago past, but here was someone who shed a glimmer of hope for him. He didn't have to worry about what the future has in store, when someone like Predaking was by his side. Perhaps Wyvern was still young and ignorant(Okay, he was full of YOUNGLING behavior), but this choice was the right one.

Predaking shifted towards the woods, taking a few paces over to the river.

Wyvern followed his king, letting himself escape his mind for just an klick. He stood close to his king, watching the river flow. It was calm on the top, but raging beneath. By this time Wyvern had gotten used to how loud it was out here, in fact he admired the beauty of all the noise. The wondrous sounds, a cool breeze, his king by him; This was perfect.

His king looked at him(With his wisest expression), his servo tucked behind his backplating."Now I believe it is time for you to be educated."
