Before we start this story, I wanna list some ground rules.
This story is set in a completely different universe from the Naruto series we know. While it still has the basic setting and premise of the ninja world that Kishimoto made (i.e., chakra, hidden villages, etc.), it's an entirely new cast of characters. No characters from the main timeline will make an appearance in this; it's a completely separate universe in the Naruto Fanfiction Multiverse, lmaooo.
If you are not a fan of OCs, this is not the story for you, I promise, lol. Every character here was either made by me or made by some of my friends in the Discord server that this is based on. Even if you don't like OCs, I hope that you can give this story a chance as I have really big things planned.
No, I do not think I can write a better series than Kishimoto, and that's not what I'm trying to do. I love Naruto; I think that besides AOT (another anime that helped inspire this story), it's undoubtedly the greatest shonen of all time. This is a passion project of mine that, as I said earlier, is based on a Discord server I helped make with some of my friends on Discord. We effectively made a turn-based MMORPG/DnD-type game with our own characters and storylines. This story is loosely based on the story in that server but not really because we kinda just followed the storyline of Naruto with a few twists, but I changed it up because I want it to, of course, have similarities to the series but not just be the same thing. It would defeat the purpose of having a different cast of characters.
Anyway, I'm yapping, so here's the summary I promised.
Summary: Mika Uzumaki, daughter of Makoto Uzumaki, aspires to become the strongest ninja in the village and succeed her father to become the Queen of Uzushiogakure. On her fifth birthday, she encounters the Nine-Tailed Fox, and its soul transfers into her body. How will Mika adjust to the Nine-Tailed Fox Spirit? How will this affect her everyday life? How can she still accomplish her goals when danger, heartbreak, and loss loom at every corner?
