Part 2 of the saga of how the destruction of Krypton was a desperate act of sabotage in a grand scheme to save the universe. No need to read Part 1 first. I will post that eventually. What if the Last Son had been 'prophesied' to return to Krypton? Return from where? Why had he left in the first place? Why would a planet need redemption? How can a destroyed planet be redeemed? The prophesies weren't clear. Kal-el wasn't even sure if these were 'prophesies' at all or that he was even the fabled Last Son...

This story follows the events of Superman Returns. It is first and foremost a Superman story. Jason White, and to a greater extent, Kara Zor-el, have important roles in the story, but I've taken great pains to keep the focus on Superman.
