"Damn!" Barbara curses as she sees how things are developing in the middle of the city center, the chaos generated by the explosion that shook the foundations of the city, was more than enough to send all the people in this place into absolute chaos.
Things changed from simple surveillance of a suspect in the murder of Cornelius Stirk to a literal battlefield, where 5 guys dressed in super-advanced armor, were fighting the Undead tank that is Grundy.
The big guy is always quiet, sometimes he roams the sewers of the city, and naturally, we would leave him alone, Batman even knew what to deal with when you have to face a guy like him, you must have a plan prepared.
But in this case, it seems that someone provoked Grundy, with what objective is something unknown to Barbara.
But there is one thing Batwoman does know, and that is that she can't let this conflict drag on, she has to protect the civilians and stop these yahoos.
But she won't be able to do this alone.
With calmness and quickness realized many times before, he turns on his intercom and in a hurried voice says "Robin! Do you read me? Over!"
"Yes Bat-woman, I read you what's up?"
"I need help! Things are out of control! Some guys in advanced suits are fighting Grundy in the center of the city!" shoots the hook gun higher than her, anchoring her with the wall of this huge building. She leaps and dropping down with the hook gun in hand begins to descend from the building.
"Copy that Bat-woman! Let's go beech!" with that said the communication between the two Batman apprentices was cut off, leaving Barbara to focus on what she has right now on her hands.
People have already started to leave the streets, that's the good thing, some are still trapped in the buildings, which is not so good, and the bad guys fighting the big guy are still fighting... that's very bad.
The first thing she has to do is to get all those people in the buildings out, even being inside them is dangerous, such is the example she can see when one of the subjects, with a large cannon in hand fires a deadly beam at Grundy, who using his great strength moves away from the beam.
But it, unfortunately, hit the wall of the 10th floor of the building, where it seemed that many people were gathered... There were no survivors.
Barbara gritted her teeth as she saw all this destruction caused in front of her eyes, she had to get them out of this place as possible... but she couldn't do it alone.
She may be a skilled and experienced fighter, but she is still an ordinary human, one wrong step and her life could end at the hands of Grundy or one of those guys.
That's why he will get people out of the buildings first, to make time for when Robin and the others arrive.
Barbara can only hope that they arrive in time to prevent further calamity to entire families.

"Subjects weirdos bother Grundy! Grundy hit weirdos!" shouted Grundy who completely angered by the sudden appearance of these subjects, hit the ground hard.
Creating a huge and powerful shockwave that knocked the concrete and rocks out of place, the guys in the advanced suits took great leaps away from the shockwave.
Two of the weak-looking subjects stood behind large chunks of rock that stuck in the ground, the other two of a more robust appearance stayed where they landed, covering their faces to prevent any fragments from passing through the red-eye-shaped visors attached to them.
After the large shockwave cleared, the subjects continued their attack, one holding an advanced-looking Japanese sword in hand, ran at high speed against the undead.
Drawing his sword, he makes a deep cut in Grundy's abdomen.
The large gray being felt the cut and let out a cry of pain and tried to crush the subject that cut him with both hands, but his fists met with another of the subjects.
He was more armored than the others and was a head shorter than Grundy, but despite this, it did not stop him from stopping the blow of his fists with his huge hands.
The third guy, armored in his advanced green suit, ran with great speed at the sight of an opening, the large mane of spiky hair reaching to his back swings into place. He takes a big leap and ends up on top of Grundy's back and from his wrists, he pulls out two hard light blades and stabs them into the zombie's back.
He could only scream in intense pain as he felt one of these guys attack him from behind, managing to free himself from the other giant guy with a kick to his abdomen, Grundy began to look for something to grab on his back.
The guy who was still pinned to Grundy's back continued to stab him again and again, seeking to create as much damage as possible against Grundy to weaken him.
And lastly, the guy with the cannon, who kept his distance all this time, pointed his huge laser cannon at Grundy's big form, and not wanting to waste any more time he loaded the gun, which took only 5 seconds to fire.
A huge blue laser flew at the undead, the guy with the light blades saw this and quickly moved away from Grundy, the laser hit Grundy's huge form hard, the energy in it was so much that it sent him flying into the government building.
Grundy's scream of pain was silenced as his massive form smashed through the wall of the building.
While the battle raged between them, Barbara swung with the help of her hook to prevent a woman, who was under the building where Grundy crashed, from being crushed to death by the debris. Grabbing her by the hand, she managed to pull her safely out of the impact zone of a large chunk of the building.
He deposited her safely in the corner of a building away from the conflict, the woman did not wait around and left the combat zone as fast as she could.
Barbara climbed up, and stood on the corner of the roof of one of the buildings, looking intently at the subjects Barbara couldn't help but ask "Where's Richard?" Then pointing at another building and swinging through the air.
Rescuing anyone who might find themselves in the middle of the battle.
The four figures looked at the spot where Grundy crashed, hoping that with that they were able to knock out the giant zombie.
Unfortunately, that does not appear to be the case, as from the hole where Grundy was found, a large chunk of concrete from the building was thrown against the subject of the big gun.
The large block of stone was cut by the sword-wielding subject, and the pieces of rock quickly fell around the cannonball, saving it from devastating damage.
The four subjects braced themselves for Grundy, waiting for him to appear from the hole he had just crawled out of with his huge body.
Grundy's large shadow shot out of the hole, heading at high speed against the large, muscular man, who raised his arms to block the incoming blow.
Grundy's fist slammed with all his might into the guy, sending him away against one of the glass buildings. Grundy turned to look at the rest of the other strangers and roared angrily at them, "Freaks hurt Grundy! Grundy smash them all!"
All the subjects charged as one, the one with the sword and claws taking the lead and the one with the cannon staying behind to provide covering fire.
The one with the sword struck first again, making quick slashes across Grundy's chest, he delivered a kick that knocked the zombie back slightly.
Grundy swung his arm to hit him, but the swordsman quickly went over his head and slashed Grundy's back 5 times.
Blades leapt up and with a flick of his hands cut off part of Grundy's right cheek, leaving deep burn marks on his dead face.
The zombie roaring furiously chases the two, who were moving away from him. The one with the cannon takes careful aim at the undead, and without hesitation fires a less powerful beam, which sends Grundy stumbling backward.
Grundy furious at these subjects, gave a strong slap, which had enough force to shake all around, rocks flew everywhere, and blades and swordsmen were placed behind several fragments of concrete that came out.
Cannon ducked, trying to protect himself from the sudden wave of debris that was heading straight for him. He looked up and saw Grundy speeding toward him.
But before the giant zombie crashed into his form, the large, muscular fellow appeared out of nowhere, body-slamming Grundy and knocking him away from the cannon.
Grundy, annoyed by this development, hits the giant with a back fist, which he receives squarely and sends him flying about 4 meters away from Grundy.
Solomon concentrated again on his target, which was a cannon, without stopping he ran quickly against it, and being in front of it, he swung his arms in a backhanded fist.
Caño lifts the heavy laser in his hand, using it as a shield to protect himself from the next blow, which sent him flying into a car, which he flipped over with the help of the force with which he was propelled.
Grundy roared in fury, at those who dared to disturb his peace, his roar was silenced as the swordsman thrust his sword into Grundy's back, the great zombie screamed in pain and reached for his back again.
But he instantly dismissed that idea, and instead dropped backward, crushing the swordsman in the process, burying him 3 feet into the concrete floor.
Grundy stood up and turning to see the swordsman pinned to the ground lifts his massive foot to smash the nuisance.
But before that could happen, claws lunged with speed at his face, clawing and slashing every inch of Solomon's large face.
The big zombie screams in pain from this discomfort that is now starting to scratch his face, grabs him by the waist, and pulls him away.
Grundy with a look of fury tells Claws "Claws hurt Grundy! Grundy hurt you!" and with that said throws Claws against a building... against the Wayne Industries building.

I knew that ending up in this kind of world was a death sentence... the moment I took my first steps into this new lifestyle, I would be more than doomed than anything.
Random and unexpected things would happen in this kind of life, world-class disasters would be the daily thing, villains creating fields of destruction against heroes and vice versa.
I shouldn't be surprised by things like this happening daily in this kind of world... but the truth is that it's scary... scary to see how people die easily, by a force greater than yours, by a speed greater than yours, by an intelligence, power, magic or technology that is superior to you in every known word.
Living in this type is like living in the middle of a minefield, you have to watch where you step to avoid stepping on the bomb that will send you to hell.
And it seems that in this situation someone stepped on said metaphorical mine, in the process releasing a gray copy of the Hulk, fighting against various agents or assassins who seem to want to confront Grundy for a reason.
... Shit Blake, concentrate on what you have to do now, you can talk later about what kind of life this universe is.
I have to put Elia in a safe place.
I look down at the trembling form of Elia beneath me, and without saying a word to her I lift her off the ground, pulling her with me to a place farther away from all this conflict.
We walked down the stairs that seemed to lead to a subway floor in this building, as I carried Elia, I could hear the battle raging outside in the streets.
I could hear Grundy's unmistakable roar of anger, and the sound of some kind of gun going off. Whatever is going on outside, it's causing chaos all over downtown.
We got to the bottom floor, where we could see a door, which had a small green sign in the corner that said "Warehouse".
The perfect place to hide and wait for all this to happen.
I was going to tell Elia that everything was going to be all right... That she should calm down, that all things would soon be resolved.
But the sound of glass breaking stopped me, forcing me to turn around to see what had happened, what I saw was the silhouette of one of those guys that was thrown against this building, I used some kind of laser claws to stop his momentum.
Shit, they're already starting to enter the building, I have to get her inside fast.
With one single kick, I was able to swing the door open, allowing the two of us access to this cleaning products warehouse.
I look back again, seeing that the guy suddenly braced himself for the arrival of something, that something was Grundy who, charging shoulder-first into that clawed guy caused almost the entire building to start shaking.
I thought no more and went into this room with Elia, I left Elia on the floor and turned to the door, I could see further inside complete chaos, Grundy was banging everywhere, crushing any poor devil that was in his way, all too try to beat that guy with the long hair.
I slam the door shut, look to my right, see the shelf of cleaning stuff, grab it and without much difficulty place it on the door as a barricade.
That won't stop the raging Grundy shit, but at least I hope that when something comes through that door, I'll be able to see it in time because of my over-human reflexes.
Or maybe I did it out of some sort of instinct or fear? I guess I won't know the answer for the foreseeable future.
But whatever the outcome, I sit next to Elia and grab her shoulder, sticking her as close to me as possible, in case something happens.
The sounds of conflict, the sudden and ceasing screams, the rocks being destroyed and crushed with great force... I could hear everything that was happening on the other side of the room.
I could get a perfect picture of the shit storm going on outside right now. A field of destruction surrounded by multiple bloodstains, the corpses deformed and battered beyond recognition.
A fucking massacre caused by a few beings, who were blessed by this curse of superpowers. The difference between those who have powers and those who don't is terrifying.
Even I, who have Darkness Devil powers, am terrified at the prospect of being wiped out in the blink of an eye... dying in less time than my brain would be able to process.
This world sucks, with stupid rules, with people more evil than satan, and even to the top of powers that can vaporize a city at a moment's notice.
A life in this kind of world...
...It is.
It is...
It is unfair.
"Blake" Elia's whisper brought me out of my inner thoughts for this kind of world, I turned my gaze towards her, and all I see is the same kind of fear when something scary was about to happen.
"T-The room i-is-is Dark I-I can't breathe!" the scream of terror from Elia was something I didn't want to hear, she began to shake, seized by the panic that now flooded her being. Her terror is so great that involuntarily I can feel how this increases my powers just a little.
She is having a panic attack.
Shit!
Acting fast, I hold her against my body, to prevent her from getting up or doing anything that might hurt her... I know this won't help her deal with this panic attack she's having.
But in the situation we find ourselves in, it's the best I can do.
I look Elia in the face and yell "Elia! Elia! Calm down! You're having a panic attack!"
I can feel Elia trying to break free from my grip, to escape from whatever was happening right now, to escape from this dark place.
"Elia! Breathe Elia! Breathe!" I say as I hold her tightly, preventing her from pulling away from me.
It took 20 seconds for Elia to stop fighting me, I could see through the darkness of the place clearly to Elia, and she started breathing deeply, trying to do what I told her.
Well... we are making progress at the moment.
I waited for Elia to calm down, letting her recover from the first impression she had just gone through.
After one last breath of air from Elia, she stopped fighting me, the fear was still present in those beautiful lilac eyes, but I could think rationally about things.
I let her think things through, try to rationalize the situation we were in, and recover from the scare she had just gone through "Whe-Where are we?" Elia asks me.
"We're in a warehouse inside the Wayne Industries building...it looks like the others are fighting outside right now, as long as we don't get out of here, we should be fine" I reply.
"I-I see... Oh god, how come we're stuck in the middle of this" Elia lamented.
The answer to your question would be this... by the will of a higher fucking deity in this stupid fucked up reality that many call, home.
Before I could say anything else to him, a tremor, stronger than the previous ones shook all the furniture in the place, I could feel how we were lifted off the cold floor of this warehouse momentarily.
Elia turned her terrified gaze against the locked door.
From what I can hear, the chaos from before seemed to intensify, the destruction of many more things was 5 times greater than before.
You could hear Grundy's angry roars from the other side, the sound of some kind of gun going off, the whistling winds of swords cutting through various objects, and fists sounding like cannons smashing into whatever they wanted to hit... And the sound of a hook?
Grundy should already be inside the building! Fighting those guys he was fighting earlier!
Before I could tell Elia that nothing bad was going to happen.
Things went to shit.
Start with the piece of furniture blocking the door, I could see how it was pushed straight at us like a cannonball, the silhouette of one of the green armored subjects was pushing with his body the wall and the piece of furniture now heading towards us like a damn missile.
My hands grabbed Elia, securing her next to me for the trick I was about to perform.
Using my superior body to that of a human, I moved, at a speed that would be indistinguishable to the human eye, becoming nothing more than a literal blur, to the side, moving as far away as possible from the man who crashed hard against the wall of this warehouse room.
My eyes looked in the direction I had come from, what I saw in that hole I had caused, what I saw was a Grundy struggling against a guy with claws on his wrists and one with sword in hand.
The place now became a battlefield, this place is no longer safe for Elia and me.
With powerful steps I pulled Elia with me out of that storage room, my sudden speed alarmed Elia so much that it caused her to scream in terror.
Said scream caused the giant corpse to turn its attention away from the subjects and turn it briefly to us, my body froze in the middle of the hallway as I watched the large zombie Grundy stare at us.
One thing is to see Grundy through comic books and on television but to see him this way, in the flesh.
Now I understand why people freeze in fear at the sight of such a gray giant standing in front of them.
Grundy seemed about to roar, but before that happened. A familiar whistling sound echoed through the area.
I saw something stick in Grundy's neck, the big zombie was confused by the feeling in his neck.
The moment I locked my eyes on the object on Grundy's neck...I knew we would be protected from these guys...at least for a while.
The black object, stuck in Grundy, is nothing more than a Batarang...
A device very commonly used by a member of the Bat Family.
The device suddenly detonated, causing Grundy to stumble forward, but what sent him sprawling was Bat-Woman, who gave him a double kick to the back.
And sent it directly against the subject of the cannon.
The cannon fired a strong blue laser beam, which sent Grundy flying through the air and sent him through the ceiling, causing large chunks of solid granite and concrete to fall toward us.
My body reacted first before my brain, as I threw myself away from the conflict that was taking place in the middle of the room of this huge building. Away from the battle Grundy was having against the guys in green and Bat-Woman.
I climbed the stairs that would take me to the second floor of this building, but unfortunately, my path was blocked by debris coming from the roof of this building.
Leaving me and Elia, together with the freaks who are fighting this place to the death.
There is no place to hide where they can easily destroy us.
We are caught in the middle of this storm of death.
Grundy suddenly fell from the ceiling, creating a huge shockwave of dust and pieces of rock, I managed to cover Elia to prevent large pieces of rock from hitting her.
The guy who had been thrown to the place where we were before suddenly appeared, a huge guy full of muscles that were barely contained by his green advanced suit, the only red eye he had on his face glowed menacingly red.
And with a speed, which is similar, if not equal to Grundy's, he charged shoulder-first into the huge undead, and carried it away, smashing it against a wall that had the company's golden logo pasted on the wall.
Grundy shouted in annoyance and raised both hands, then slammed them into the giant guy's head. The muscleman's head slammed hard against the white floor of the building.
Suddenly the claw guy jumped up and made an X in his chest, Grundy screamed in pain and threw a hard punch that sent him straight at us.
"Shit!" acting fast I grab the terrified Elia again and we move out of the way of the guy who now crashed on the stairs where we were standing.
We both fell to the ground, slipping a little in the process and letting go of Elia, she looked at me terrified, and I, who was pumped up on adrenaline, grabbed Elia's hand and started to pull her.
I looked over to where the fight was taking place, and what I saw was the guy with claws, the muscle guy, and the guy with the gun fighting Grundy, it looked like they were trying to subdue him and put something around his neck.
The one on his back, on the other hand, was fighting Bat-Woman, swinging the advanced sword he had at speeds that a normal human would not be able to do.
I could see several cuts on Bat-Woman's body on her abdomen, arms, and legs. I can also see that she can barely keep up against this sword guy.
Things are getting uglier than they should be.
My hand grips Elia's tightly, being careful not to hurt her with my strength. Without hesitation, I pull her so that we can both get out of this place, out of the crossfire that was developing around us.
My main goal is to get Elia out of the crossfire. To get out of this meat grinder before it gets her.
I don't have much of a problem getting caught up in the battle, in case something happens to me I have the blood of the dead guys here to regenerate from any of my wounds.
But Elia is a mere human mortal, a mere mortal who will not be crushed against these metahumans instantly.
Your safety is the most important thing now.
I have to get her out of here.
We made it out of the building, moving completely away from the battlefield. Overlooking the lifeless bodies of the people who were trapped in the middle of this battlefield.
Some were crushed by large pieces of the building, others due to broken necks or lethal fractures that completely ended their lives.
A disaster... this kind of disaster always happens in every conflict between heroes and villains all over the world, sometimes I wonder how people don't get tired of this way of life.
I guess at the end of it all they got used to this new order of things, I can't say for sure...but I guess as times change. People change.
Learning to adapt to the constant changes that life gives us. And learning how to deal with it.
It took us very little time to finally reach the exit of this place, passing over the dead that was in our way, ignoring the blood that we sometimes stepped in our path, passing all the chaos and destruction that came from behind us.
I felt that we were finally safe, that we could flee this place in relative safety.
Suddenly, a large shadow was cast over the two of us.
My head went flipped faster than I could even think, and what I saw.
... It's Grundy, heading towards us at high speed.
About to crush the two of us.
The people in those green suits must have hit Grundy with enough strength to throw him outside the building
I can take the punishment of who knows how many tons of dead flesh... but Elia, Elia won't survive at all.
I was going to throw, her as far away from where we were as possible so that she would be safe from the great mountain of rotting flesh that is Grundy.
And I did... I threw her with all my might, she was instantly thrown far away from me.
I saw Elia's terrified eyes, tears began to spill from the corners of her eyes, and watched as she tried to formulate the words, surely to scream my name.
So... before he was crushed by Grundy's body I told him "... Don't worry Elia! I'll fight these idiots and beat their asses!"
And I felt Grundy finally crush me before everything went dark...
Giving me the perfect opportunity to transform back into my hybrid form.
...Allowing me to be once again... the Devil Darkness Hybrid.
...
...
Pain...
It is the only thing I can feel now... a pain I had experienced many times before, a pain I thought I would never feel again in my entire life.
But it came back... he came back and this time it was the same or worse than the last time.
The throbbing pain I felt when I crashed to the floor was completely clouded with what I was feeling right now.
And that was a terrible pain... a pain that had healed when I found out that the only person I cared about was still alive, came back. And this time, with much more strength than I could have even imagined.
Looking ahead, I looked to where the only person I cared about was... a few minutes ago, he was watching over me, protecting me from the darkness that surrounded us and pulling me out of that storm of death and destruction.
Willing to protect me with his life, even if it meant dying for me.
... And now...
He is no longer here.
Blake William... that boy who stayed by my side at the Gotham orphanage, who always looked at me as his best friend, who always supported me in all kinds of situations.
That same person who, despite having strayed from the path, still cared about me, and still considered me the most important person in her life.
... Now found.
... Dead.
Killed, by the huge, massive body of this rotting, dead gray-skinned fellow. Crushed by who knows how many tons of weight that could easily crush someone like a twig.
He stared at the huge being that was now on top of the only person he cared about in this world... watching as this huge monster crushed the only person he cared about.
A mixture of various feelings, ranging from anger, pain, sadness, despair, and denial formed on my face. So many things were going through my brain.
The most I did was extend my trembling hand forward as if trying to reach for something that just slipped out of my hands.
... and that thing... was the only person who cared about me in this life.
" ... Blake?" I said confused...unable to believe that Blake had just been crushed by this big gray guy, who was now rubbing his head in pain.
Before I could even reach Blake... I felt someone grab me by the waist and start to pull me.
Why are they pulling me? Can't they see Blake is under that thing?
I fought with all my strength, to free myself from the force that was pulling me.
The person in charge seems to be a strong woman, I hear her tell me "You can't stay in this place it's dangerous! You have to leave!"
"NO WAIT, DON'T TAKE ME AWAY! BLAKE IS UNDER THAT THING!" my struggles were met with the woman pulling me harder, pulling us further away from where Blake was.
I was going to turn around to hit the woman who was taking me away from the only person she cared about in her life.
I can't leave him alone! I have to get him out of there!
"Graaagh! Woman screams annoying Grundy!" suddenly said the monster on top of Blake.
The deep and strong voice of this huge being froze me with terror.
The sheer force of how this being was able to turn me into an alert deer... waiting for its predator to appear before fleeing in terror from said predator.
But at this moment... I can't run... I can't move and I can't run away, and not because of the woman who is holding me... but because I am unable to move a single muscle in my body.
The huge being rose from Blake, towering imposingly above me and whoever was holding my shoulders.
The rotten smell hit me the instant it stopped near us, a nauseating odor that burned my eyes just smelling it, the rotting, decaying flesh made me nauseous and I was barely able to control it.
But that was nothing... compared to those eyes... those huge golden eyes that looked at me with a fury that was barely controlled... I never felt so helpless as I did now.
An animal at the mercy of a superpredator.
And in this case... I am the prey.
Grundy walked noisily against us, his footsteps like mini tremors shaking the earth.
The monster's advance was slowed slightly by two objects that were thrown against its face and then detonated in explosions that covered the monster's face.
The woman must be a member of the Bat Family if she can throw that kind of object.
She pulled me suddenly, trying to get me as far away from Grundy as possible. I could hear the woman yelling to someone I hadn't seen "Robin! I need you now!"
The great being that had stopped before, growled furiously, a growl that compacted my chest, accelerated my heart to an alarming rate, and caused me to start hyperventilating.
The monster suddenly bent down... and then in the blink of an eye appeared in front of the two of us, with its hand outstretched... ready to crush us.
I felt like my whole life was passing in front of my eyes... every sad, heartbreaking, and pain-filled moment was replaying like an old movie... making me remember the family I had lost, the family I lost to those who had the power and saw all of us as mere nuisances.
But within all that life of painful memories... among all that darkness that was sinking me deeper and deeper into that infinite abyss of decay, decadence, and evil.
There was a light... a light that had taken me out of that path of no return, taking my place and going into that darkness, to return stained... but with that same light that warmed my life.
And that light... it's Blake, that guy who at first wouldn't talk to me, that guy who always seemed to see more for himself than for others... but who eventually became the most important person in my life.
He always looked out for me... always looked out for my safety and my health, even if he was part of the biggest crime family in Gotham, she would always cherish, care for, and protect him from those who would mess with him.
... But now that light disappeared... by the whims of several subjects fighting against each other, extinguishing it completely and leaving me again... alone, to deal with that abyss once more.
... Maybe... just maybe... if I let this huge gray monster crush me... I'll be able to see Blake again... to reunite us on the other side, never to be separated and to become forever and ever... in a light that can erase even the deepest darkness.
... If so... then.
... I will not resist.
... so slowly, accepting that I will die on this night... that I will meet Blake on the other side... I closed my eyes.
Waiting for the blow that would send me to be reunited with Blake... to be together forever.

-February 22, 2024, 20:12:14 PM-.
-The hybrid Darkness Devil appears for the second time, in the center of the city for 20 minutes, where it is reported that he entered into combat with the undead Grundy and the 4 unknown subjects, ending as a result of the conflict on both sides of the fight deceased by fighting against the Hybrid Devil Darkness.

"Get away from her!"
But all of a sudden... that voice... not
To call what sounded a voice is a mistake, it would be more like a silent whisper, but at the same time loud, as if some kind of specter had decided to speak with the force of a thousand voices at the same time... all forming something like the wailing of hundreds of thousands of people, coming together to form this horrible, hissing voice.
My eyes opened the instant I heard those words...
What my eyes saw was something I never expected to happen.

The big gray monster... which was about to kill the two of us, was bent to the right, its left arm and body bent to the left, by what appears to be a dark-colored shoe.
Suddenly, the large gray monster seemed to have been struck by a superior, invisible force.
It flew out like a cannonball, heading straight for the government building, and crashing with the force of an explosion, which sent a sonic wave that shook my hair wildly through the air.
The great explosion of earth and rock dust completely covered the huge form of the monster that had crushed Blake.
From the same dust where that being had crashed, it came out again, with a grimace full of uncontrolled fury, ready to unleash itself against the first person it encountered on the way.
The big gray monster roared with such force, that I could feel my eardrums ringing.
I covered my ears, trying to protect myself from that great roar that made my whole being shudder.
The great monster full of rage and fury began to run in our direction, fueled only by the hatred and anger that seemed to have taken control of his entire being.
The gigantic being took a great leap, one that had the power to create a small explosion of rocks and dust.
The giant gray being propelled himself into the air and using gravity to his advantage, he raised both fists to strike whoever was responsible for sending him flying into the government building.
Only for him to be hit in the abdomen by someone who moved at a blinding speed, sending him flying into the sky. A huge sonic boom destroyed the few glass panes in the huge buildings.
I was barely able to make out the huge being that was soaring through the air like a rocket.
But I was able to distinguish the being that had knocked that huge gray monster into the air.
A silhouette of a man, wearing blue sportswear torn on his body, with a white undershirt inside, and pale hands like those of a corpse.
... But most frightening of all... is his head.
...To say it's a head would be an insult to the kind of terror that fell without panic in the air.

The being... despite having a human body... emits a great amount of fear, which is 10 times greater than that of the gray monster... a terror like no other I have ever felt in my life.
The terror that had previously caused me that huge gray being, is eclipsed by the feeling of terror that this being instilled in me.
The human-bodied terror landed on the destroyed ground in the center of the city, destroying more of the concrete floor in the process, a small ripple cleared all the dust that rose into the air, giving the woman behind me a perfect view of who the monster is that sent the great gray being to the skies.
And what I saw... is that where there's supposed to be a person's head...there's a skull, covered with what appears to be the fossil of a pterodactyl that covered the eyes and nose of the subject, leaving only the upper jaw of the skull exposed. And at the end, large curved horns reaching to the back of that beak stretched maliciously to the sides.
Just seeing the shape of that head is enough to make me shiver with fear.
His mere presence alone is capable of making me feel weak, of making me feel like a little girl once again, stranded on the streets of this infamous, surrounded by the darkness that is my home.
Only this time... there is no one to protect me.
There is no one to pull me out of this suffocating darkness... there is no light that I can see at the end of all this, wrapping me forever in shadows and darkness... leaving me alone to deal with...
This monster.
