Hey storytellers, let's talk about unsolicited advice ✨

I'm writing this because I've noticed a trend in my guest reviews: some readers feel compelled to offer suggestions on how I "should" write my story. While I appreciate their enthusiasm, unsolicited advice can sometimes feel a bit like...well, backseat driving.

Here's the thing, my story is my vision, and I'm pouring my heart and soul into crafting it the way I envision it. While constructive criticism is always welcome, unsolicited advice can be disruptive and, honestly, a little rude. It takes away from the space for genuine feedback and can feel like my creative choices are being questioned.

I get people want to write their fanfiction and such, but I'm comfortable with writing this with my beta, I don't need people coming in 'in case you have missed some details to help you or plot holes you've seen so I can tell you what you missed' I'm fine. I have a beta for this exact issue. It's honestly extremely impolite to offer criticism in the way certain guest reviews I've removed have been posted.

I apologize for being late on this chapter, a lot has been going on with this big move, but here's what I ask: if you enjoyed the story, let me know! Share your favorite moments, the characters you connected with, the emotions it evoked. If you have specific points of constructive criticism, feel free to share them thoughtfully and respectfully. But please, let's leave the unsolicited advice in the backseat. I have a beta, I am exploring and researching the lore, and chapters 18 through 27 will be posted. I'm sorry I'm late. Also, I don't like being told about a YouTuber I don't watch and to 'check them out'. That one was rather unhelpful as well.

I'm sorry this is the 'chapter' I posted after months, I just had to get this off my chest.

Remember, this is a collaborative space where we can all celebrate the joy of storytelling. Let's keep it positive and respectful, and focus on what truly matters: connecting through the power of words. ❤️
