—Thoughts—
—Speaking—
Everyone was waiting for the projection to light up again, to see heroes or at least individuals from the past, they didn't wait long
It was like reliving the first day at Camp Half-Blood for Percy Jackson. Dozens of eyes focused solely on him, scrutinizing him thoroughly to determine if he was a threat to be eliminated or an ally to be trusted over time. Only the female hands clinging to both arms prevented the son of Poseidon from feeling the discomfort he had as a child.
Percy grimaced at the thought of what his other self was feeling, though uncomfortable at the thought of a Medusa being so at ease with him
"A new Servant?" A woman dressed in huge tiger pajamas muttered.
Several asked why an adult woman would wear a costume among heroes and others laughing at the woman's dress
"I don't remember Gudako summoning anyone..." Another woman, with brown hair and glasses and wearing a smart blue and red suit, spoke softly with a thoughtful face.
Seeing the woman Triton as well as several others could see the intelligence in the woman
"It looks like a Saber," a blond man, wearing a blue medieval armor, said.
Everyone could just by seeing the blond man think of a gentleman without the need for explanation or at least a fan of them
"What are you talking about?! Can't you see that it looks like a Rider?! " A hairy woman with a scar across her face exclaimed in clear opposition.
As for the woman shown, there were various reactions with most of the men paying attention to a certain part of the woman's body, only those with more brains or sense of self-preservation prevented their eyes from wandering, but of course the most idiotic did not, being Zeus one of them who saw shamelessly, without noticing the furious look of his wife who was right next to him
Several of the men had to dodge or throw themselves to the ground to avoid a hail of arrows, courtesy of the huntresses and their mistress, who had to be calmed down by Hestia
"Hmmm... he definitely looks like a Lancer" hesitating initially, a copper-skinned, red-eyed male wearing a red helmet managed to conclude.
"Does anyone know what you mean by Percy being a saber, rider or lancer?" Connor asked the others, as he was confused about what they meant by that, as well as many others
"If they are all heroes or at least summoned beings as they said before, we can assume they are all some kind of warrior, knowing would literally be for a swordsman, rider a rider and lancer the user of a spear" replied Rhodes to the question asked by the young son of Hermes before Athena or her sons had a chance, this answer caused the present to come from the future, especially the Greeks whom Percy qualified in the first two while those of the past only as a 'knowledge', while the Atlanteans thought that a son of the king of the sea qualifies in the 3, and some other gods
"I don't know, to me it's a Caster," swagging a fluffy tail from side to side at the same time as her ears jerked at times, a woman chatted.
Some thought about the term caster and making assumptions about what it meant, and determining whether Percy qualified as such, while others curious about the appearance of the woman, and the rest, the vast majority repeating what happened with the hairy woman, the curious thing now is that the women were compared to the two women, with several thinking that their appearances couldn't be real
"Is she a new mommy? " questioned a little girl who was accompanied by three others who were staring at the black haired man.
Faced with the appearance of the infants, several looked twice, due to the clothes they were wearing
Question after question was asked in a short space of time, stunning for an instant the demigod who was guided by the two heroic representations of tragic Greek women. Grateful once more to people he never thought he would meet in gracious ways, Percy untied his arms for the purpose of placing his strange bag on the table under the watchful eyes of the others.
Hermes and his children, when they pointed to the bag, thought they could steal it
All in a silence that hardly characterized him, but he could not help it since, unlike on other occasions, he was not even in the territory of the United States.
Only two young twin girls with the same hair color as Medusa approached the son of Poseidon, mostly to look curiously at the hooded woman who seemed to want to hide behind her companion. Something about them caught Jackson's attention for a second, and he single-handedly discovered that they were related.
In addition to the fact that they did not assimilate at all to the versions that I knew where it came from.
Several had also come to the same conclusion as Perseus on screen, just by seeing the 2 girls without needing the explanation, with some of them surprised by the boy's reasoning, while others even with the explanation did not reach the conclusion
The difference in appearance was not what predominated in the minds of several, as it was with Poseidon, who along with the Greeks of the future, Chiron, Annabeth of the present, Grover and others, were concerned at the new detail that Perseus met them, as well as hoping that they would be like that little Medusa, while the Percy in the room noticed also after a moment and only prayed that they did not want to to take revenge for killing Medusa or better not to meet them, his two friends began to ask him what kind of luck he had to run into the monsters, Poseidon on the other hand also worried but attentive to the lack of surprise of the Romans wondering if they already knew or simply did not care what happened to his son
"Is Stheno still the good one?" A worried Percy whispered in Anne's ear.
"What do you mean the good one?"— asked several
"It depends," replied the younger Gorgon, barely moving her lips.
"But look at what's going on here, Euryale. It seems that someone has finally decided to look at someone el… se..." The eldest of the Gorgons questioned her sister with the intention of mocking Medusa's situation, only to stop when she looked closely at Poseidon's son.
"Tell me that he seems familiar to you too, Stheno..." an alternate version of the cursed immortal that Percy knew emulated his older sister's actions.
Percy worried about the safety of his older self, as well as several others in the audience
Gripping a nervous grimace, the demigod again felt his hands being held to cheer him up. Although this was mainly because one knew what he was thinking due to the exchange of information, while the other was due to the fact of placing blind trust in him.
Several denied in the trust towards monsters shown, that the black haired man should not let his guard down, as well as distrust those around him
"Sisters... he's Perseus Jackson... a son of Poseidon" slowly revealing information capable of baffling them, Medusa Lily confronted her relatives.
"Percy," he corrected instinctively.
"And Gaia brought him here, so he's not a servant like us!" this time it was Medea Lily who dropped the bombshell, earning everyone's stunned looks.
"Gaea," again the black-haired man corrected the diction of the name that the culprit of his situation had.
Although audience members already knew this, it still brought them some surprise, while others thought that Gaea would never bother with a miserable demigod, should I say who?
Silence suddenly overwhelmed the huge room, where even a blond man in golden armor wiped a sneer of superiority from his face. They quickly noticed the clear discrepancy between the sayings and the demigod's modern way of dressing, leading them to the conclusion that he was still living in an Age of the Gods.
-Wow... even Gilgamesh was speechless—a slender man in blue armor who sat next to three others with the same face, spoke.
Aside from the surprise for those who recognized the name, the gods were more concerned that certain facts might come to light
"Shut your mouth, you dirty dog! No one can force me to do something I don't want to do, not the gods, not this wretched mongrel!" Enraged by the mockery, the crimson-eyed blond began shouting in all directions, earning the displeasure of many.
"How dare he?!" — shouted Ares, Hera and Zeus, as well as other comments such as that they would give his place to the blond on screen, the rest just ignore them, although several deities were annoyed by what was said, with similar thoughts, but they did not vocalize them
This included Percy, who sensed that Gilgamesh would not be to his liking in the future as he reminded him so much of a certain pompous augur.
The Romans were the ones who most often saw the augur, could not deny what was narrated, shown and gave discreet glances to the annoying augur, well it would have been discreet if not everyone had done it, as the rest did not know him at the same level, but the Greeks of the future would believe the word of Perseus
"And who is that?" – without showing an iota of respect, something that did not cost him anything, the Jackson wanted to know.
Those who knew the son of the sea best thought "typical".
"Ha! See?, he's just a mongrel who doesn't even know his superiors! Boasting of his status among all the Servants, the golden-armored man cried out, not seeing two versions of him silently shake their heads.
Several raised their eyebrows at the alternate versions, wondering how many alternate versions there could be of a single individual, while the Artemis and their huntresses thought about how to deal with that man from shooting arrows to turning him into an animal and hunting him
"Is he Greek?" Ignoring the tirade, Poseidon's son focused his questions on the girls sitting next to him.
"No," the young witch of Colchis replied.
"Roman" The black-haired man continued.
"Neither" Medea replied in the negative.
"Egyptian?, Nordic?" Running out of more pantheons he knew, Perseus Jackson spoke.
The gods and Chiron tensed at the mention of the other two pantheons that were also in the country, as well as wondering how the son of the sea knew them, the two pantheons, since the pantheons had rarely mixed with each other for a long time… but 3 pantheons.
While the campers wondered the same thing, those of the past were already surprised by the existence of the Romans with the presentations, but could not ask, those of the future, although they also knew of the existence of the Romans, wondered how it was possible that there were other pantheons, other gods, well this was before those who accepted the possibility, while others only thought that Perseus only believed that they existed because of the information that mortals have about them
But a few of the future wondered if their Percy had already met them and never told them or did not yet know them, but the god of drama, I mean the god of lightning thought that the son of the sea would ally himself with false and weak gods trying to overthrow him, which in his mind would never happen since he would win in that case.
"None of those… How come you know them?" – imitating the previous answers, Ana alluded, and then looked confused at her companion who only shrugged her shoulders.
"Three old ladies are very bored and find amusement with me... I still don't know who that guy is." Dismissing the usual problems of his life, the blue-eyed young adult continued his task of finding out the identity of the blond who was looking at him badly.
Several of the future began to curse under their breath at the fate of their friend and worry about him, especially his girlfriend. While the Atlanteans and other deities wondered why the Moirae would give such attention and future to the boy
Fed up with the lack of respect for him, the blond abruptly pushed aside a boy with light blue hair and goggles, in order to stand in front of the son of the god of the sea.
"Listen to me, mongrel! I am Gilgamesh, king of Uruk! The first hero in history and the King of Heroes! Two-thirds of me are divine and the rest are human..." the aforesaid began his introduction, pondering his titles while the rest began to moan under their breath.
Since the vast majority did not know who Gilgamesh was, they asked each other, hoping that someone would know, they even asked the gods, only to get Zeus to yell at them to shut up and not ask about impostor gods or false demigods.
Which caused the Greeks of the future to clench their teeth and clench their fists, along with the demigods who were going to follow Luke Castellan, began to feel their resentments against the gods grow again, as soon as the Romans fell silent as ordered by their king, but with various feelings/thoughts, the rest of the gods looked at the king of Olympus, thinking how much longer he would try to sweep this under the rug and ignore it, now that this secret for the half-bloods had already come to light.
Obviously, Percy Jackson's brain, full of algae as some people cataloged, stopped listening to the Servant's rant, focusing to be more exact on the last part he uttered, drawing a growing playful grin when he came up with a brilliant joke that would surely annoy him greatly.
Some recognized the grimace and way of thinking, as well as wondering how much the boy had lived with the sons of Hermes or worse the god himself, while the lord of the travelers smiled anxiously at what would happen
"He said he was part divine and part human, didn't he?" – Using a face of total distraction, the black-haired man questioned his companions.
"Was that all you heard?" Without understanding the reason for the question, Medusa replied before seeing how more people of her time were approaching in the distance.
Athena would have thought the same thing if they hadn't heard the above, but they grimaced when they realized that they would have thought like Medusa
"That's right, Percy." Unlike Anne, Medea Lily was happy to clear up the demigod's doubt.
"So, wouldn't that make him a mongrel too?" One moment, in fact, he would be the first half-breed! In other words, he is the King of the Mongrels! – going from feigned surprise to genuine lucidity, Percy ended up accusing the king of Uruk with his right index finger.
A slight laugh was not long in coming from the audience, with Hermes and his sons nodding to it
Mute left those words to the mythical King of Heroes, a situation that the others present did not let pass and immediately took the opportunity to mock him, the main one being a woman with black hair tied in pigtails who wore revealing clothes, making Percy think for a second of Aphrodite.
Aphrodite was amused to be mistaken for someone, though no one could match her beauty in her opinion.
-Why you...? Gilgamesh began to growl angrily.
"Mongrel King!" "The same woman who used to make fun of him," she exclaimed.
"Who are you calling...?!" Turning to face her, the blond wanted to scream again.
" Mongrel King!" A man in red clothes, tanned skin and white hair made himself heard.
"Now I'll kill you, Fak...!" Filled with more hatred with each passing second, the first hero tried to threaten.
" Mongrel King!" This time it was a man with androgynous features and long green hair who screamed, earning the blond a look of astonishment followed by betrayal.
"No, Enkidu. You don't..." Defeated, Gilgamesh muttered as his best friend tried to comfort him while laughing under his breath.
Several were surprised by the unique shade of the hair, but others of the subjects seen also had peculiar appearances
The projection went dark again
