"Okay...where am I?" a bewildered Ash Ketchum questioned as his journey to become the world's greatest Pokémon Master after ascending to the rank of Monarch was interrupted unexpectedly
Ash found himself standing in a perplexing realm reminiscent of a kingdom. Its landscape was dotted with two distinct pits, shifting platforms, and blocks that seemed to defy conventional reality. The scenery resembled something out of an old-school video game with the castle made of blocks and the flagpole that appeared almost surreal. Above were square, fluffy clouds adorned with smiling faces stretched across the sky, adding to the uncanny atmosphere. Flanking the bizarre battlefield were green sewer pipes.
"I wonder who could have summoned me here?" mused the World Champion with his voice tinged with curiosity.
As Ash's gaze swept forward, he discerned a figure that appeared to be constructed from rudimentary pixels. The character sported bright blue eyes, a prominent nose, and a thick, dark-brown mustache reminiscent of a bygone era. Clad in a red shirt, blue overalls adorned with yellow buttons, and a distinctive red cap featuring the iconic "M" symbol, the enigmatic figure exuded an air of familiarity. Completing the ensemble were white gloves and sturdy brown shoes, adding to the character's peculiar charm.
"Wait..." Ash paused, his eyes narrowing as he scrutinized the pixelated character before him. Suddenly, recognition dawned on him. "Aren't you..."
"Ya-hoo! It's me Mario!" the character interjected with enthusiasm, cutting Ash off before he could finish his thought.
A smile tugged at the corners of Ash's mouth. "Nice to meet you, Mario. I'm—" His words were cut short as he noticed Mario charging towards him with unexpected aggression. Before he could react, Mario's glove expanded dramatically, hurtling towards him with alarming speed. Ash's eyes widened in shock as he was launched into the air, his cry of protest echoing across the strange realm. "MAARRRRIIIOOOOOO, WWHHHHHYYYY?!" The sound of a resounding ping reverberated through the sky, signaling Ash's unexpected defeat.
Poor Ash lol xD. He didn't want his encounter with Mario to end like that. Next up, Donkey Kong!
