Chapter 62
Lucas got Sawyer off to school and returned home right after.
He left the car running. As he saw Brooke on the porch awaiting him.
He got out of the car and went over to her.
"You didn't really sleep last night and you only a half the breakfast i made. We don't know what she's going to say."
"I'm worried about you Brooke." Lucas admitted.
"I don't like this. Something is wrong. It has to be." Brooke said. The emotion in her voice thick.
"You don't know that. Let's go to the appointment then we'll move on from there. It's going to be okay." Lucas said. Wanting to reassure her.
As they got in the car. Brooke's hands then on her belly.
Lucas started to drive and soon heard Brooke's cries.
He focused on the road. Eventually making his way to the office.
It was then that he parked and looked to her.
"Brooke. We're going to get through this. No matter what it is." Lucas said. Leaning over to wipe her tears.
And kissed her gently.
Brooke nodded her head in agreement.
Taking his hand once they left the car.

Lucas was by her side as Brooke looked to the screen.
As the OBGYN explained. That the pregnancy has progressed to a point where it was obvious that there was more then one baby.
Brooke and Lucas were taken off guard in every way.
"The first baby is and has been getting a majority of the nutrients throughout these months. The second baby hasn't been."
"We need to move the delivery to 37 weeks that's full term for multiples. We will induce you're labor and get to the twins."
"We'll know the state of the second baby. Once the babies are delivered." The OB explained.
