A\N: Hey guys, just coming here to say that I am not a pro at the SCP-MYTHOS. And by that I mean that while I do know a lot about the many anomalies, I don't know all of them, or all the many researchers, soldiers, teams, and stuff like that ok? This is more for fun but if you guys want to tell me who you want to show up to interact, I will do some research and try to give everyone a good time, feel free to flex your knowledge then.
*Review Time*
DJ Rodriguez: It seems that Yamcha is now in a completely new dimension and universe, all thanks to the powerful Solar and Father-Son Kamehameha attacks colliding like so. And it seems that the martial artist is in a new world, and perhaps the fling from different universes may have messed up some of his senses/abilities. I wonder what is going to happen next... in any case, hope for the best for Yamcha! Keep it up!
FanficThinker:Those two attacks were so powerful and impactful when I saw them that it really makes you think they could have shattered a hole in reality, his abilities are still intact but he is disorientated for the time being, this universe has a lot in storage for him.
Guest: Hope he finds someone way better than Bulma
FanficThinker: You got any ideas? Lol!
Grimmangel108: it had a good start that would have been expected where it looks like in hindsight it was also great to see the confusion for not feeling the presence of his friends, being in a place he doesn't know or has hated talking as well as the calendar system although It is still strange that English can be spoken so easily since it was never clarified if English is used in DB or a language similar to that used in other worlds but it is not something to worry about now
FanficThinker:Dragon ball z characters talk to aliens all the time and it's fun to think they have some sort of universal english language which makes it easier for conversations but I see what you mean, when also going to a place you dont know its not like your brain automatically thinks your in another dimension, some exploring is needed.
UzuRyu: "The world he found himself in was unfamiliar and technologically advanced beyond his wildest imagination."
What the f*ck are you talking about ? Bulma created Time Machines, Spaceships, House that can be put in capsules that fit in your hand, Shrinking technology and Force Fields. Then there are C-17 and C-18 that have INFINITE ENERGY. C-16 who is an fully fonctional Android. Cell who is a human made bio-android. The Technology of Dragon Ball is immensely more advanced than ours.
FanficThinker:Oh snap! sorry mate that was suppose to be part of something else but i scrapped the idea, I must have forgotten to edit that, thanks for pointing that out. I make sure to change it.
coldblue2015: This is interesting...
FanficThinker: It will only get more interesting the longer you keep reading hehe.
BlueJacket242: Whatever it is... I know that Yamcha can do it!
FanficThinker: There are things one can not handle alone or at all but he will try his best when he can.
Guest01: Cell's regeneration doesn't make sense.
I like Canada.
Fanficthinker: I always thought his regeneration was exagerately powerful for someone who is not fully namekian but maybe the powerful DNA of saiyans and Frieza race resilience supercharged that skill, he is a bio-android after all. Also I never went to Canada but good to know you like it.
Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location, there was an orange-haired woman who seemed to be suited up for combat or was part of some sort of special forces, seemingly walking towards an area where she would be interviewed by someone about the last mission she had attended. After some time walking through what seemed to be a secret facility as the others around her kept doing their jobs, the woman in question had found the room in question, taking in some deep breaths before getting inside.
'Just go there and explain it, they saw worse, it's not like they won't believe you' She told herself before grabbing the doorknob and twisting it.
"I see you have finally arrived, Agent Torres, and just in time as well. Come now take a seat, I made some coffee too if you want" Someone who was wearing a white lab coat said.
"No thanks Doc, im widely awake right now"
"Ah yes, it's because of yesterday huh?" The doctor said before grabbing the documents that had been given to her, talking about the events of the mission that Agent Torres's task force had arrived to.
"Now it's not like I doubt the boys work in typing these with accuracy but I always enjoyed hearing the situations face to face from someone who went through it from a different perspective. You don't mind explaining for a bit right? According to what I'm reading here it was quite the dangerous situation but in my opinion, it could have gone way worse"
Agent Torres sat down on the chair before letting out a sigh, not of exhaustion but of someone who was thinking where to start "Well as you might know doctor we were tracking SCP-3889 AKA the Fisherman, who had returned after being inactive for quite some time" She said with annoyance in her voice "Honestly why does that old man keep fishing out those things? I was actually glad when he was gone but now? It just came back to make matters worse"
The mysterious woman looks at the document again "Hmm…"
3889-TEHOM event
Date: 25 ,June 2022
Location: Toronto, Canada
"Yes of course, and it says here that there were five creatures this time?"
Agent Torres nodded and leaned back in her chair. "That's correct, Doctor. SCP-3889 is known to summon these aquatic entities during its appearances. This time, we encountered five of them, which made the situation quite challenging. Our primary objective was to neutralize them and ensure the safety of civilians in the area. We were able to trace SCP-3889's location to an abandoned warehouse near the harbor. Our team moved in"
*Agent Torres Pov- Flashback*
When a humanoid anomaly disappears for a long time, we have satellites that use facial recognition to alert us in case they show up again, and when we saw Scp-3889 back, it was time to move fast because we didn't know how long it would take until some monstrosity arrived from wherever he was fishing on.
However, we were too late, when our team reached the destination he was already pulling on the fishing rod to bring out the creature and initiate the TEHOM event, we only had enough time to make sure no one would get into that area, we were too slow. What came after was quite strange at first, it was like a freakishly large red blob that pulsated on the sand, at first we thought it was just like the first Tehom event creature.
But boy…were we wrong. Before any attempt of communication with the anomaly could be issued, the pulsating mass suddenly exploded! It was out of nowhere like a landmine or bomb, except you didn't step on it nor see a timer, so we were taken by surprise. Dust and dirt flew everywhere, with our weapons ready we expected to see something dangerous, but when it was now easier to see, it was so much worse.
What happened after that, was like seeing the birth of a second Red Pool, as monsters appeared out of the blue, not just one but many of them, one more disturbing than the other. There were five in total as you have already seen, the first one was a creature that resembled some sort of centipede, a mass of legs with a ribcage-like maw, and had long human-like hair if you believe me, but it didn't have any actual head, because when it attacked one of my men with some sort of toxic spit, there was nothing but a fleshy eyeless underside to it.
The second one was something I recognized, it was a crab…but this crustacean was Gigantic! It then shoots a stream of viscous liquid from its mouth, that makes it hard for us to move, it would then use its pincers to smash anything in sight. There was this one that looked like…I don't know some sort of love craftian demon? It was this large and sickly yellow-colored thing, with multiple eyes and legs. It grabbed one of my men with its leg somehow and threw it into the top of its head where its mouth was located before eating it whole. We tried shooting it but it let out some weird mist that damaged our equipment.
The fourth one was the ugliest of them all in my opinion, how do I even describe it? Imagine a giant and grotesque frog-like demon with a long tail, now imagine that the moment it opens its mouth, a skull-like face with two arms protruding from its mouth shows up. I don't know how or why but the frog-like skin that it covered itself seemed to be bulletproof against the weapons we brought at the time, because why not?
Last but not least there was a humanoid chubby mushroom that we thought looked harmless and slow when compared to the others, but it possessed high physical capabilities and a single punch from that thing easily broke through the torso of one of the task force members even when wearing protective armor.
Agent Torres stood there, frozen in shock and disbelief, as the nightmarish creatures emerged from the pulsating mass. The situation had escalated beyond anything they had anticipated. The team quickly realized that their weapons were ineffective against these monstrosities, and their initial attempts at communication were met with hostile aggression.
The centipede-like creature lunged at one of Torres' comrades, injecting a toxic substance that dissolved the unfortunate agent's flesh. The crab creature unleashed a paralyzing liquid, rendering the team immobile as its massive pincers crushed their equipment. The Lovecraftian demon proved resistant to gunfire, emitting a corrosive mist that further damaged their gear. The frog-like demon, impervious to bullets, revealed a grotesque skull-like face with arms protruding from its mouth, instilling terror in the agents. The seemingly harmless mushroom-like humanoid displayed unexpected strength, effortlessly breaking through the protective armor of a team member.
Agent Torres quickly assessed the situation, realizing that their only chance of survival was to retreat and regroup. They urgently signaled for the team to fall back, coordinating a tactical retreat while maintaining a defensive perimeter. The priority now was to ensure the safety of the remaining personnel and report the alarming development to the higher-ups.
As they retreated, Torres couldn't help but wonder about the origin and purpose of these creatures. It was evident that SCP-3889, the humanoid anomaly they had been tracking, had unleashed a catastrophic chain of events. The TEHOM event, which was supposed to be prevented, had been initiated. The implications of this incident were dire, and the potential consequences for humanity were unimaginable.
Agent Torres knew that their next steps would be critical. They had to inform the Foundation's leadership, analyze the data, and develop a strategy to contain and neutralize these new anomalies. The team's failure to stop the TEHOM event weighed heavily on Torres' mind, but they knew there was no time for self-doubt or remorse. The survival of the organization and the world itself depended on their ability to respond effectively and decisively.
*POV ENDS*
"I see…and all of that happened at once?" The Doctor asked.
"Honestly it happened too fast, the moment those things were out they started attacking anything at sight, it was random and chaotic but they never fought against one another, and the surprise was so out of nowhere we didn't have time to reorganize into a formation suitable for it, so many people lost their lives either smashed to a pulp, eaten or poisoned. We only managed to somehow dispatch the centipede like monster after a while.
"What about SCP-3897? Did it do anything?" The Doctor asked, knowing that this anomaly was always close a few meters away from the Fisherman.
"No, that stupid big-eyed freak disappeared once the old man did so as well, and we had to deal with the problem"
The mysterious lab coat-wearing individual heard the story and compared it with what was written for her and she seemed to be satisfied with it for a while.
"And at what point did the mysterious man show up?"
"...Not exactly sure how long we have been there just trying to survive until it happened. I don't know who that guy was but im glad he showed up or else we would all be done for"
*POV RESTART*
We were in a desperate situation, damaged equipment, dead members and monsters that were hard to deal with because we didn't know what they were capable of or their weakness. And when I thought that was it, as the crab-like creature had me in one of its pincers, ready to squeeze the life out of me, something else happened, or should I someone collided against the creature's pincer, because before I noticed I was on the ground alongside its now decapitated limb.
After getting my bearings I stood up, confused at what just occurred but when I did so, I saw what seemed to be a man, by all means, he looked just like a normal human being but…something didn't seem right, I could feel…weirdly enough that was not the case. Not saying another word I saw how he lifted the Pincer that…I don't know, that he somehow cut off? He just lifted that thing as if it weighed nothing and rushed towards the Crustacean, smacking it down to kingdom come with its own pincer until it was done for.
That quickly took the other creature's attention, all at once they saw him as a threat. The mushroom monster went to attack it with its mighty punch that did so much damage, but the man casually caught it without looking even a bit winded, then he broke its hand making the mushroom scream even though it didn't have a mouth.
"You call this a punch? Let me show you how it's done"
The man's voice was calm yet filled with an air of authority. He effortlessly tossed the mushroom creature aside, sending it crashing into the sand. It writhed in pain, unable to comprehend the force it had just encountered.
The remaining creatures, the Lovecraftian demon, and the frog-like demon, exchanged glances before charging at the man simultaneously. With lightning-fast reflexes, he dodged their attacks with ease, moving in a fluid and precise manner. It was as if he anticipated their every move before they even made it.
In a display of raw strength, the man delivered a powerful blow to the Lovecraftian demon, sending it sprawling backward. He swiftly followed up with a series of devastating strikes, rendering the creature incapacitated. The frog-like demon, witnessing its companion's defeat, hesitated for a moment, giving the man an opportunity.
The man took advantage of the hesitation, swiftly closing the distance between him and the frog-like demon. With a swift and precise strike, he landed a blow directly on the creature's vulnerable spot, causing it to emit an otherworldly shriek of agony. The demon collapsed, its grotesque form twitching and convulsing.
Silence fell upon the beach as the man stood amidst the defeated creatures, his presence radiating an aura of power and control. Agent Torres couldn't help but feel a mixture of awe and trepidation as they witnessed the man's abilities firsthand.
After that, all it could hear was the sound of what could be described as a battle, the sound of animalistic screams, ground shaking, yells and more until it was all silent, when my eyes adjusted back it was already over. The monsters that were giving us so much trouble were now lying on the ground apparently lifeless, it was only after we would see they were indeed dead, but he was still there looking completely fine before turning around, giving a thumbs up, and smiling before he ran at high speeds away from the beach.
*POV ENDS*
"Honestly I would like to say that we nearly got wiped out because we were taken by surprise in having to fight multiple anomalous monsters without knowing their strengths and weaknesses, but we are trained for situations like this so it was quite humiliating, I'm glad we were saved by him but at the same time I wonder…where did someone like him come from and can we trust something that dealt with the fisherman fished beasts like nothing?"
The Doctor listened attentively to Agent Torres's account, understanding the mix of gratitude, awe, and uncertainty that lingered within them. It was natural to question the origins and motives of someone with such extraordinary abilities, especially when their intervention seemed almost effortless.
"I understand your concerns, Agent Torres," the Doctor replied, their tone thoughtful. "Encounters with individuals possessing anomalous abilities can be disorienting and raise questions about their nature and intentions. It is prudent to maintain a healthy skepticism while also acknowledging the assistance they provided."
The Doctor paused for a moment, gathering their thoughts before continuing. "From what you've described, this individual appeared to possess a unique skill set and an understanding of the anomalous events unfolding. While their arrival was unexpected, they demonstrated an ability to swiftly neutralize the threats you were facing. However, we must exercise caution when assessing trust in these situations."
The Doctor leaned back in their chair, contemplating the situation. "It's important to remember that the world of anomalies is vast and complex. While he may have aided your team in that particular instance, their true intentions and affiliations remain unknown. It would be wise to gather more information and potentially collaborate with other SCP Foundation personnel to ascertain its background"
The Doctor's gaze shifted to the document on their desk, contemplating the information at hand. "Ultimately, we must rely on the collective knowledge and resources of the SCP Foundation to make informed decisions. If this person's actions align with our mission to contain and protect, then cooperation may be beneficial. However, until we have a clearer understanding of their capabilities and motives, maintaining a cautious approach is prudent."
Agent Torres nodded, understanding the Doctor's perspective "Thank you, Doctor Monica"
The appearance of the one Agent Torres was talking to is then revealed, she had rich chestnut brown hair, well-cared-for and neatly styled that falls gracefully to shoulder length, framing her face with a healthy sheen which speaks volumes about her tidiness not a strand is out of place as you can see soon enough her hazel colored eyes. She stands at an average height, has a naturally upright posture and While not overly muscular, her body speaks of fitness and health, a reflection of a balanced lifestyle she actively maintains.
Her attire is a reflection of her role and professionalism within the SCP Foundation. The pristine white lab coat she wears serves as a visual symbol of her position. Every inch is immaculately clean, fitting her form with precision. Beneath the coat, a light-colored blouse or shirt complements the lab coat's seriousness, providing both comfort and flexibility for her demanding tasks. The lower half of her outfit is graced with tailored slacks or pants, reflecting her penchant for practicality without sacrificing her professional appearance.
A classic wristwatch adorns her wrist, ensuring she remains punctual in the midst of her demanding schedule. Her jewelry choices are subtle yet tasteful, with small stud earrings accentuating her appearance without demanding undue attention.
They were reminded that in the world of anomalies, trust had to be earned and verified. It was crucial to maintain a balance between gratitude for the assistance they received and the need to thoroughly investigate and assess the true nature of individuals like him.
As the Doctor and Agent Torres continued their discussion, it was evident that the incident on the beach had left a profound impact on the agent. They were now tasked with not only containing the anomalies they had encountered but also delving deeper into the mysteries surrounding the man's identity and purpose. The world of anomalies was full of enigmatic beings and unpredictable events, and the journey to uncover the truth would require diligence, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to the Foundation's mission.
