The Lion King has always been one of my favorite Disney franchises ever, and since I love it so much, I've decided to do a whole retelling of the first movie known as The Sovereign Of The Sunrise Kingdom which has new characters, new scenes, new locations, and different dialogue, and my OCs belong to me. The Sovereign Of The Sunrise Kingdom
Chapter 16: Battle Of The Royal Kopje
At the desert, Simba and Amani travel throughout the desert together right towards the Sunrise Kingdom so they could return to it in order to save it from Scar and his army of hyenas and be able to reclaim the throne of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun since they're both the rightful heirs to the throne which means that Simba is the rightful sovereign of the Sunrise Kingdom and Amani is still a princess. They continue traveling throughout the very hot desert for a moment until they both finally arrive back at the Sunrise Kingdom together.
At the Sunrise Kingdom, Simba and Amani quickly notice how much that their homeland has became nothing but a desolate wasteland that has dried up savannahs, withered plants and trees, and dried up rivers and lakes as well as skeletons lying everywhere in the ground which are actually dead inhabitants of the kingdom who has died from the drought and famine which hit the kingdom, and upon seeing the kingdom in ruins, the twins became filled with sadness by how much Scar and his tyranny over the kingdom has destroyed the kingdom and allowed his hyena minions to take whatever they want in the kingdom which is also the main cause of the whole situation.
Soon, Simba and Amani's expressions soon became filled with anger and determination just as they both saw the view of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun from a nearby ledge, and they both vow to save the Sunrise Kingdom from Scar and his hyenas no matter what and that Simba will become the rightful sovereign of the kingdom and that Amani will continue being a princess who will help Simba run the kingdom. The twins are then greeted by two of their childhood best friends Nala and Tojo who have quickly returned to the Sunrise Kingdom and witnessed how much the kingdom has became a dry and barren wasteland that has completely ran out of food and water supply due to Scar's tyranny and allowing his hyena army to hunt whenever they want to.
Also, besides witnessing the Sunrise Kingdom has fallen into ruin and the view of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun along with Nala and Tojo, Simba and Amani reconcile with Nala and Tojo for acting so unusual lately of what they've been through together throughout the many years, and Simba reconciled with Nala for having their heated argument from earlier and Amani reconciled with Tojo for lashing out of him with fear from earlier as well which both Nala and Tojo forgave them for just as they both express their love for them and they express their love back to them, and the group of childhood best friends vow to work together to rescue the Sunrise Kingdom from Scar and his hyena henchmen.
"Simba, Amani, wait up!" Nala called out.
"Hey, you guys, wait for us!" Tojo called out.
"It's awful, isn't it? This has been going on ever since Scar became sovereign." said Nala.
"I didn't want to believe it was absolutely true, but it is true anyway, and it is terrible," said Simba.
"Honestly, I never saw anything so desolate in my life, and it's just like what I saw in my dreams the other night," said Amani.
"You had dreams about the Sunrise Kingdom being a destroyed wasteland?" asked Tojo.
Amani nodded her head yes. "One of our ancestors, Queen Nyota, the daughter of the legendary King Jua told me all about it, and she confirmed it was true."
"Did Queen Nyota tell you about the whole situation of the kingdom in your dreams?" asked Nala. Amani nodded again. "But if that's so, then why didn't you tell us?"
"'Cause she was trying to warn me of what's going on, that's all, and I guess we didn't get the chance to tell you two." said Amani. "Look, what's important is that Simba and I came back, and I did listen to Nyota's warnings all about this."
"You're right about what you just said, and it's a good thing you two decided to return," said Tojo.
"Tojo and I are wondering what made you two come back. That's what we wanna know." said Nala.
"Well, I guess it's how I came to my senses and Amani helped me do so, and I got the bump in my head to prove it." said Simba. "Besides, this is my kingdom, and Amani and I are the rightful heirs to the throne of the Royal Kopje Of The Sunrise Kingdom since we're the son and daughter of King Mufasa. If we don't do something about Scar running the kingdom in a tyrannical way and allowing the hyenas to take whatever they want to, then who will?"
"We will save it from Scar and the hyenas somehow," said Tojo.
"If you are gonna do it, then it's gonna prove to be very dangerous." said Amani.
"Danger?! Ha! I would laugh in the face of danger and nothing would intimidate us! Absolutely nothing!" said Nala. She laughed to herself.
"For sure, Nala and I aren't afraid to face some danger," said Tojo.
"Simba and I are not afraid to face any danger either. We would kick some butt anytime at all and that's one of my favorite hobbies." said Amani.
"That's right, and we've been enjoying kicking some butt ever since we were little and my twin sister does enjoy playing rough." said Simba. "Also, Nala, I'm sorry for the way I acted lately and that we had that argument. I really am."
"And I'm really sorry for how I've been acting too, Tojo." said Amani. "Can you two ever forgive us?"
"Of course we do, and I forgive you Simba for having that argument and it's just I was so confused, that's all." said Nala.
"And I forgive you for acting like that lately too, Amani. All is forgiven." said Tojo.
"Thanks, and also, nobody's perfect anyway." said Amani.
"True, and we already know that we're sometimes willing to forgive others, but not all the time since it sometimes can be unforgivable." said Simba.
"We do the same thing sometimes too, guys, and I love you Simba." said Nala.
"I love you too, Nala." said Simba.
"Amani, I love you so much." said Tojo.
"I love you very much too, Tojo." said Amani.
Suddenly, Simba, Amani, Nala, and Tojo notice Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi arrive at the desolate Sunrise Kingdom, much to their surprise, and the group explains to them the reason why they have arrived is that they have decided to always be with Simba and Amani no matter what, even on the first day they met them and took them in, and they have also decided to help them out with saving the Sunrise Kingdom
"Hey, guys." Lulu greeted.
"Hello, everybody." said Safi.
"Timon, Pumbaa." said Simba.
"Lulu, Safi," said Amani.
"What are you doing here?" asked
"We're at your service, your majesties." said Pumbaa.
"We came to help you out with this whole thing you and your two friends have been talking about," said Timon.
"Yes, and if you're gonna do it, we're gonna do it too." said Safi.
"So, we're gonna fight your own uncle for this?" asked Lulu.
"Yes, Timon, this our home and it has always been our home ever since we've been born." said Simba.
"Also, this has been founded by one of our ancestors thousands of years ago and they've worked so hard to build the kingdom." said Amani.
"You see, our father Mufasa has always told us a sovereign must rule the kingdom with love, sympathy, tenderness, and compassion, and he was one of them." said Simba.
"But it proves that Scar isn't such a great sovereign after all since how he made the entire kingdom into a terrible wasteland. Something really must be done about this." said Amani.
"If the Sunrise Kingdom is that important to you and must save it from your uncle and his reign, then we're with you until the end, especially on the first day we met." said Timon.
"Thank you very much, guys." said Simba just as he and Amani smiled at Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi.
"Now, let's save the Sunrise Kingdom from Scar and the hyenas, everybody." said Simba.
"That's right, and we must work together to do so. Now let's get started." said Amani.
Then, Simba, Amani, Nala, Tojo, Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi stared at the view of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun together just as they all vowed to work together to save the Sunrise Kingdom from Scar and his hyena minions and that Simba will ascend the throne since he's the rightful sovereign and Amani will continue being a princess who will help Simba run the kingdom. While the group made their vow to rescue the Sunrise Kingdom from Scar and his tyrannical reign over the kingdom, some storm clouds gathered overhead of the kingdom which means a severe thunderstorm is about to happen soon just as some thunder is heard.
At the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun just as a thunderstorm over the Sunrise Kingdom is about to happen soon, Simba, Amani, Nala, Tojo, Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, quietly sneaks up to a rocky area that is near the Royal Kopje where they all hide behind a log and they all notice that most of Scar's hyena minions are blocking their path and the hyenas are lounging on the ground together and chewing on bones together, much to the disgust of Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi since they greatly resent hyenas so much.
The group began wondering how they will get past the hyenas in order to get in the Royal Kopje without being noticed by them, and both Simba and Amani come up with an idea for them to get pass the hyenas which is to have Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi to create a distraction so they will be able to get pass the hyenas. They were reluctant to do so at first, but they agree to do it anyway which is Timon and Safi doing some hula dance moves while they have Pumbaa and Lulu be roasted meals with Pumbaa having an apple in his mouth and Lulu being covered in spices, and the group of hyenas quickly notices them and began approaching them with very hungry expressions just as Simba, Amani, Nala, and Tojo snuck past them without them even noticing them, and Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi continue distracting the hyenas and then they suddenly get chase down by them in complete fear while they attempt to eat them.
However, during the chase, Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi manages to chase away the hyenas by using Pumbaa's very smelly gas when he accidentally farted very loudly right in front of the hyenas as well as around himself, Timon, Lulu, and Safi, and the hyenas suddenly smell Pumbaa's stinky gas and they all ran away in complete fear and disgust by Pumbaa's reeking flatulence, and Timon, Lulu, and Safi congratulated for Pumbaa by using his stinky farting problem to chase away the hyenas while they were very disgusted by his smelly flatulence problem and he was very embarrassed by it so much just as they all proceed to help the twins Simba and Amani with what they needed to do.
After they managed to get pass the hyenas with the help of Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi's distraction of being live bait, Simba, Nala, Amani, and Tojo went closer towards the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun to carry out what they have planned. Simba and Amani instruct Nala and Tojo to find their mother Sarabi, their aunt Zahara and their uncle Ushindi, their cousin Wepesi and her best friend Jabari, and the rest of the male lions and lionesses while they search for Scar together and they both wish them good luck just as they both warmly nuzzled each other and express their deep love for each other.
Nala and Tojo then leaves to search for Sarabi, Zahara, Ushindi, Wepesi, Jabari, and the rest of the lions of the Sunrise Pride while Simba and Amani proceed to search for Scar in order to confront him and convince him to surrender his title as sovereign in order to have Simba ascend the throne and become the sovereign himself since he's the true heir to the throne along with Amani since she's still second-in-line to the throne, and Nala and Tojo attempt to find the rest of the Sunrise Pride out in the barren savannah of the Serengeti Plains. Soon, they both manage to find their, Simba, and Amani's other childhood best friends Chumvi, Kula, Malka, and Tama, Simba and Amani's cousin Wepesi and her best friend Jabari, and the rest of the Sunrise Pride, much to their delight, and they begin explaining everything to them which also made them very delighted.
Back with Simba and Amani at the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun, the twins work together to search for Scar so they could confront him and order him to give up his current position as sovereign of the Sunrise Kingdom and Simba could become sovereign since Simba is the true sovereign, and they suddenly found Scar calling out to their mother Sarabi as well as their aunt Zahara and their uncle Ushindi from a boulder near the Royal Kopje and Sarabi arrives at the Royal Kopje along with Zahara and Ushindi while many of Scar's hyena henchmen barked at her and snap their jaws at her, but she doesn't show fear towards them at all while Simba and Amani watches the whole thing sadly.
Sarabi, Zahara, and Ushindi climbs up to the Royal Kopje and approached Scar who began confronting them about the members of the Sunrise Pride hunting party isn't hunting for some food supply like they're supposed to and they attempt to inform him that there's nothing left in the Sunrise Kingdom to hunt any longer due to the food supply has ran out and the water supply has dried up, and they begin insisting that they must abandon the Royal Kopje in order to survive from hunger and thirst which Scar stubbornly refused to do so and his decision leads to getting them into a fierce argument with him over his lack of responsibility of being sovereign and not carrying out his duties at all.
"Yes, Scar?" asked Sarabi.
"What is it, Big Brother?" asked Zahara.
"Where is your hunting party? They're not doing they're job of hunting for some more food." said Scar just as he began pacing right in front of Sarabi, Zahara, and Ushindi.
"Scar, there is no food left in the kingdom, and there isn't any more water left in the kingdom left either." said Ushindi.
"All of the herds have moved on to other kingdoms in order to save themselves from the drought and famine that is still going on." said Sarabi.
"No! You're just not looking hard enough! I suggest that you keep looking harder for what we all need!" exclaimed Scar in anger.
"Actually, Scar, we've searched everywhere for the kingdom, and we're still unable to find any more food and water supply, and there hasn';t been any for months now," said Zahara.
"Well, just keep looking until you find some more food and water!" said Scar.
"Let's just face it. It's now all over." said Ushindi.
"Well, at least Zira, her husband Tufani, her brother Moshi, and her brother's wife Hewa are still hunting throughout the kingdom for some more food," said Scar. "And besides them continuing to hunt, there are most of the other male lions and lionesses who are continuing to hunt."
"Well, that's 'cause they are very loyal to you no matter what." said Zahara.
"That's the way I like it so much." said Scar.
"Look, Scar, there is actually nothing left in the Sunrise Kingdom, and if we continue to stay, we'll all eventually perish." said Sarabi.
"We only have one choice to make, and that choice is to leave the kingdom in order to survive," said Zahara. "It's time that we start somewhere new as well."
"This is my kingdom and we're not going anywhere to find a new home to live in! This is our home and it always will be!" exclaimed Scar in anger.
"Scar, are you joking?! We can't continue to stay here any longer!" said Zahara in anger.
"If we do, then you will be sentencing the whole Sunrise Pride to death!" said Sarabi.
"Then that's just it's gonna have to do! Whether you like it or not!" exclaimed Scar.
"You can't do that!" said Sarabi in anger in disbelief.
"What you're doing for everybody is downright unfair!" said Ushindi in anger.
"But I am the sovereign! I can do whatever I want!" exclaimed Scar.
"Speaking of being sovereign, you prove to be nothing but a huge disgrace as sovereign!" exclaimed Zahara in anger.
"And if you were half the sovereign, you would never do such a thing…" said Sarabi in anger just as she was about to say something, but Scar suddenly interrupted her when he roughly smacks her that sends onto the ground.
Once Scar strikes Sarabi to the ground for attempting to compare him to Mufasa and his reign over the Sunrise Kingdom while she, Zahara, and Ushindi attempted to rebel against him and his tyranny over the Sunrise Kingdom, both Zahara and her husband Ushindi became shocked by what Scar did to Sarabi just as they became very angry and disgusted by how Scar is acting like a complete tyrant who lacks any responsibility as sovereign, and Simba and Amani both quickly reveal themselves and suddenly became very enraged by how Scar attacked Sarabi just as they growled in anger and thunder booms and lightning crashes right behind them, and they quickly went to Sarabi's side to see if she's okay while Scar as well as Zahara and Ushindi became very surprised seeing them and they all initially mistook Simba for Mufasa due to greatly resembling his father and wondered who Amani was since she looked a lot of Sarabi until they found out who they really are.
"Stop, Scar! That's enough!" Amani called out.
"Leave her alone or else!" Simba called out.
"Wait a minute! Mufasa?! No, it can't be! You're dead." said Scar in fear. "And who is that lioness with you?!"
"Is that lion really Mufasa?" asked Zahara.
"Could it be?" asked Ushindi.
"And by the way, who's that lion?" asked Zahara.
"I have no idea who it is," said Ushindi.
"Mufasa? Is that really you? And whose she?" asked Sarabi just as Simba and Amani both gently nuzzled her.
"No, it's just me. I'm Simba." said Simba.
"And I'm just Amani. It's me too." said Amani.
"Simba? Amani? My son and daughter? You two are still alive and well? But how can that be?" asked Sarabi.
"It doesn't matter, Mother." said Amani just as she gently nuzzled Sarabi..
"We're both home at long last." said Simba just as he gently nuzzled Sarabi.
"Simba and Amani? Those two are alive!" said Ushindi.
"I can't believe it! After all these years, Simba and Amani are alright and they didn't die after all." said Zahara.
"Simba? Amani? Simba and Amani! I am very surprised to both of you…" said Scar just as he turned to Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed in anger at their failure to kill the twins. "...all alive and well after all these years." Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed gulped nervously just as they left in complete fear.
Simba approached Scar furiously. "Give us one good reason why my sister and I should rip you apart for what you did to our mother."
Amani approached Scar furiously along with Simba. "We'll give you at least one minute to give us a reason why or else we'll kick your butt right away, Scar."
Scar backs away from Simba and Amani in complete fear. "Oh, Simba, Amani, you two must understand the hard work of ruling a kingdom as sovereign…" He suddenly got interrupted by Simba.
"The Sunrise Kingdom is no longer yours. Step down, Scar." said Simba.
"That's right, your reign over the kingdom is gonna end right now," said Amani.
"I would do that, but there's only one little problem. Do you see them?" asked Scar just as he pointed up to his army of hyenas who snarled at Simba and Amani. "My very own hyena army thinks I'm the rightful sovereign of the Sunrise Kingdom. And I have some lions of the Sunrise Pride who support my own reign too."
"Are you serious about what you said?" asked Simba.
"Yes, and it's very true," said Scar.
"Oh, those lions must've lost their minds to support your reign." said Amani.
"Oh, yeah? Well, even though they support our reign, we don't support it, Scar." said Tojo.
Suddenly, Nala and Tojo both appeared on the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun along with Chumvi, Kula, Malka, Tama, Wepesi, Jabari, and the rest of the male lions and lionesses of the Sunrise Pride just as they all acknowledge Simba as the rightful king since he and his twin sister Amani are the true heirs to the throne of Royal Kopje, not Scar since it turns out that he isn't the true king after all, and both Zahara and Ushindi helps up Sarabi off the ground just as they also began acknowledging Simba and Amani as the rightful heirs to the throne.
Simba and Amani, their love interests Nala and Tojo, their best friends Chumvi, Kulu, Malka, and Tama, their mother Sarabi, their aunt Zahara, their uncle Ushindi, their cousin Wepesi and her best friend Jabari, and the rest of the Sunrise Pride all gather against Scar and his hyena army to put an end to his tyrannical rule in order to save the kingdom and that Simba can become the rightful sovereign and Amani can continue being a princess. Also, during the confrontation, Scar attempts to guilt trip by bringing up Mufasa's death which he still frames Simba and Amani for causing even though in reality that he was the one who caused his death many years ago just as the hyenas are ready to battle for their master Scar.
"Simba is the rightful sovereign of the Sunrise Kingdom," said Nala.
"And Amani is still a princess since she's Simba's twin brother," said Malka.
"Those two are the true heirs to the throne of the Royal Kopje," said Kula.
"So true, and that's 'cause they are the son and daughter of King Mufasa," said Tama.
"You're not the true sovereign of the kingdom and you never were." said Chumvi.
"So that makes you such a phony king while Simba is actually a true king," said Jabari.
"The throne actually belongs to my cousins, not you." said Wepesi.
"So, it looks like everybody supports our claim to the throne since we're the true heir apparents and actually oppose your rule since you're not the real sovereign." said Amani.
"Since everybody is supporting us and going against you, the choice is all yours, Scar. Either surrender the throne since you're a joke or fight." said Simba.
"Why violence is always sometimes the answer to some problems? Honestly, I hate to be responsible for the death of a family member." replied Scar. "Wouldn't you agree on that kind of thing, Simba and Amani?"
"That isn't gonna work on us, Scar! I've put that behind me and while I did, I learned that the hard way! I really did!" exclaimed Simba in determination.
"And I've managed to put all of that behind me as well even though the truth can be hurtful as much as the past can be very hurtful! We both put it behind us!" exclaimed Amani in determination.
"Well, about the ones you care about so much? Your faithful subjects who are all of the male lions and lionesses of the Sunrise Pride." said Scar. "Were they able to put the whole thing behind them even though both the truth and the past can hurt very much?"
"Simba, Amani, what is your uncle Scar talking about?" asked Nala in surprise and shock.
"What does he mean by putting it behind us all?" asked Tojo in surprise and shock.
"Oh, it looks like you two haven't told them all your little secret yet, even after it happened all of those years ago," said Scar. "So this could be a good opportunity to tell everybody who was actually responsible for Mufasa's death."
Upon hearing what Scar just informed them about what both Simba and Amani experienced during their past and has managed to put the past behind them even though everybody in the Sunrise Pride hasn't put the past behind them since the twins didn't tell them about it, Nala, Tojo, Chumvi, Kula, Malka, Tama, Sarabi, Zahara, Ushindi, Wepesi, and the rest of the lions of the Sunrise Pride began staring at the twins in complete surprise, and realizing that he can no longer hide their secret any longer once Scar told them all about it, Simba confesses that he was the one who caused Mufasa's death, much to the shock of their friends, their family, and everybody else while Amani attempts to tell everybody it couldn't be the truth.
"We…We did it. We are responsible for our own father's death, and we're really sorry." apologized Simba.
Sarabi approached Simba and Amani on the verge of tears. "It's…It's not true! Tell me that it's not true that you did cause your father's death!"
"It's true." said Simba in regret.
"Simba thinks it's true, but I don't think so! Look, we can't be for…" said Amani just as she tried to explain, but Scar suddenly interrupted her.
"You see, everybody! Both of them admit it! Murderers!" said Scar just as lightning flashes right behind him.
"No! It was just an accident! We didn't mean for it to happen!" exclaimed Simba.
"There's no way we could be responsible for causing his death! We would never do that at all!" exclaimed Amani.
"If it weren't for you two, your father Mufasa would still be alive and well! It's all your fault he got killed in the wildebeest stampede in the Olduvai Gorge!" said Scar accusingly. "Do you deny it?!"
"No!" exclaimed Simba.
"Then you're both guilty!" exclaimed Scar.
"But I deny it very much and it can't be true! exclaimed
"It is true, Amani, and you and your brother are both responsible for it!" exclaimed Scar.
"No, Amani and I are not murderers!" exclaimed Simba just as Scar and his hyena army who began coming down from the ledge began cornering him.
"Scar, please! Please just leave us alone about all of this!" exclaimed Amani. "We're not murderers and we couldn't have caused our own fathers' death! I won't believe it!"
"Well, that is something you must believe 'cause it's all your fault that your father is dead," said Scar.
"No! No, no, no, no, no! I can't, Scar, and I won't!" exclaimed Amani.
Soon, just as Simba gets cornered by Scar and his army of hyenas, he ends up at the peak of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun just as they all approached him just as he continue feeling very guilty for being responsible for Mufasa's death due to Scar's manipulation, and even some of the hyenas began approaching Amani as well who continue to refuse to believe that fact that she and Simba were responsible for Mufasa getting killed by the wildebeest stampede in the Olduvai Gorge many years ago which is causing Simba and Amani to be separated from each other during the whole thing in the process while their friends, family, and the rest of the lions of the Sunrise Pride watches the whole thing in complete shock.
"Oh, Simba and Amani, both of you are in danger again! But this time, your dear daddy isn't here to save you like he usually would when you used to be little cubs!" said Scar. "And that's because everybody knows why!"
Scar lunges at Simba which caused him to fall off of the ledge of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun and quickly grabbed onto the ledge before he could fall onto the ground, and Amani became filled with shock just as he was still being confronted by some of Scar's hyena minions and the twins' best friends, family, and everybody else of the Sunrise Pride became filled with shock upon seeing him fall off onto the ledge as well.
Suddenly, a lightning strikes from below the Royal Kopje where it has been set ablaze, and Amani attempts to help Simba from the ledge of the Royal Kopje, but she gets stopped by the group of hyenas who surround her in order to prevent her from helping Simba just as they all growled at her, much to her surprise and shock. Just as Simba dangles from the ledge and Amani is being surrounded by the vicious hyenas, Scar watches Simba and begins to remember what happened many years ago during the death of King Mufasa, Simba and Amani's father, in the gorge many years ago.
"This looks very familiar. Where did I see this before? Let me think. Let me try to remember it somehow." said Scar. He thought it over for a moment until he remembered what happened all those years ago. "Oh, yes, I remember now. This is just the way your father looked before he died in the wildebeest stampede." He then grabbed onto Simba's paws just as he sinks his claws into them. "And here's my little secret of my own and you're not gonna believe this for one minute. I was the one who killed Mufasa on that day."
Upon hearing what Scar just informed him, Simba quickly realized that he and Amani hasn't been responsible for Mufasa's death after all and it turns out to be Scar the entire time, and he honestly couldn't believe that Scar has been responsible for killing their father Mufasa all along in the first place and framed them for his death so he could steal the throne of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun and become the sovereign himself. Just as he realized Scar's responsibility for Mufasa's death, Simba remembered the day when Mufasa fell into the wildebeest stampede to his death which was actually caused by Scar while he and Amani screamed in terror from atop of the gorge upon witnessing their father's death.
Now knowing that Scar was the one who killed Mufasa and lied to him and Amani all about it in order to become sovereign through coup d'etat, Simba became very furious just as he leaped back up to the Royal Kopje from the ledge and pins Scar down to the ground, much to the shock of Amani and everybody else just as Simba furiously denounced Scar's crime of killing Mufasa right in front of Amani and everybody else which Simba forces him to confess the truth to everybody.
"MURDERER!" exclaimed Simba.
"What? Murderer? What do you mean?!" asked Amani in shock.
"No, Simba, please don't do it!" exclaimed Scar in complete fear.
"Tell everybody the truth!" exclaimed Simba.
"Truth? Tell everybody the truth? But truth is in the eye of the beholder and it can't be that important to tell everybody…" said Scar just as he tried to explain, but Simba pressed his paw onto his throat which choked him. "Alright! Alright! Alright! I did it!"
"So, they will be able to hear you!" exclaimed Simba.
"I KILLED MUFASA!" snapped Scar very loudly.
Amani gasped in complete shock upon hearing Scar's confession that he has been the one who had killed Mufasa the whole time and it made her realize that she and Simba has been innocent the whole time and that her refusal of believing that his death couldn't have been her and Simba's entire fault was absolutely correct, and Amani suddenly became very furious that Scar lied to them about Mufasa's death so he could become king while Simba and Amani's family, friends, and all of the male lions and lionesses became very furious at Scar's confession of being responsible for Mufasa's death all along, not Simba and Amani.
"Scar…you…you…you dirty rotten liar! You told us that our father's death was our fault, but it was you all along! You've been lying to us the whole time!" exclaimed Amani in fury. "I've been doubting that his death couldn't have been all your fault, well I was right and Simba was wrong to believe what you told us about it being all our fault! YOU LIED TO US! YOU LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING!"
"Also, not only you lied to us about being responsible for Mufasa's death, you lied about everything to everybody else!" exclaimed Simba. "YOU LIAR!"
"You're the murderer, Scar, not my son and daughter Simba and Amani!" exclaimed Sarabi.
"I can't believe you've lied to us all for so many years!" exclaimed Ushindi.
"Honestly, since you've been lying, you don't deserve to be the sovereign at all!" exclaimed Wepesi.
"Especially after you killed our own brother Mufasa so you could become sovereign!" exclaimed Zahara.
"We don't want you as our sovereign, Scar!" exclaimed Nala.
"We want Simba to be the sovereign instead!" exclaimed Tojo.
"He's the rightful sovereign and he always has been!" exclaimed Chumvi.
"The throne doesn't belong to you either!" exclaimed Kula.
"It belongs to both Simba and Amani!" exclaimed Malka.
"Those two are the rightful heirs, not you!" exclaimed Tama.
"Let's get Scar everybody and make him pay for everything that he did to all of us!" exclaimed Jabari.
"EVERYBODY CHARGE!" exclaimed Amani.
Nala, Tojo, Chumvi, Kula, Malka, Tama, Wepesi, Jabari, Sarabi, Zahara, Ushindi, and all of the male lions and lionesses began approaching right towards Scar in order to attack him for killing Mufasa in the first place, but they all end up getting stopped by Scar's army of hyenas and a fierce battle breaks out between the Sunrise Pride and Scar's hyena army. Just as the battle begins, some of the hyenas swarm Simba which causes Scar to be knocked off from him and Scar quickly escapes from the whole thing.
Simba began fighting off the hyenas in order to get off of him from the ground while Nala, Malka, and Tama began helping him get the hyenas off of him, and Nala swats some off the hyenas with her paws, Malka tackled some off the hyenas, and Tama pounced on some of the hyenas which freed Simba from them in the process. The hyenas who are still surrounding Amani prepare to attack her, but Amani quickly defends herself by fiercely fighting them off and Tojo, Chumvi, and Kula quickly come to her aid and begin fighting them off along with her. Amani headbutts some of the hyenas, Tojo pinned some of the hyenas onto the ground, Chumvi threw some of the hyenas with his teeth, and Kula clawed some of the hyenas. The twins and their best friends gather together, and they begin working together with the Sunrise Pride to fight off the hyenas.
Suddenly, during the battle at the Royal Kopje, it suddenly catches on fire, and Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi suddenly arrive at the Royal Kopje and join in the battle against Scar's hyena army. Timon rode on Pumbaa just as Pumbaa charged through some of the hyenas, Lulu charged through some of the hyenas, and Safi flew through the hyenas as well. Timon hopped off of Pumbaa and roughly jumped on some of the hyenas, Pumbaa kicked some of the hyenas, Lulu sat on some of the hyenas with her large rump, and Safi sent some of the hyenas flying with her legs.
Just as the fierce battle between the Sunrise Pride and Scar's hyena army at the Royal Kopje continues, Simba continues fighting off some of the hyenas who snapped their jaws at him, and he managed to severely beat down some of the hyenas with his claws and teeth which greatly knocked them out which shows how much of a fierce male lion warrior that he is, and during his fierce fight with the hyenas, some more of the hyenas jumps on him from a ledge and begins biting him.
Fortunately, Rafiki appears in the scene and manages to save Simba from the hyenas by whacking them with his own staff just as he does a warrior screech and jumps off the ledge as well. He then gets in the midst of some hyenas who he quickly fights them off by using very impressive martial arts skills while he makes some martial arts sound effects as well.
The Battle Of The Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun continues, and the many male lions and the many lionesses of the Sunrise Pride continue to fight off Scar's hyena henchmen atop of the Royal Kopje while the massive fire rages on over the Royal Kopje. The male lions swatted, headbutted, and pounced on the hyenas, and the lionesses clawed, tackled, and pinned down on the hyenas, and even Sarabi, Zahara, and Ushindi fiercely took down some of the hyenas and Wepesi and Jabari worked together to beat down viciously some of the hyenas as well.
Also, during the fierce battle, Amani viciously slashed some hyenas with her claws, viciously bites some of the hyenas with her sharp teeth, and viciously bonked some hyenas into their heads which shows how much Amani is a fierce lioness warrior that she is. Just as the Battle Of The Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun, Shenzi, Banzai, ad Ed began chasing Timon to the throne room inside of the Royal Kopje while they attempt to eat him where he quickly ran inside of the rib cage where Zazu is still imprisoned at, and they both get cornered by both Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed while they also corner Bahati, Elewa, Mwanga, Afua, and Damisi who they also prepare to eat them, but before they could eat Timon and the six royal advisors, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi arrive at the scene to save them from the hyena trio.
"Please don't eat me!" exclaimed Timon.
"Drop them you filthy hyenas!" exclaimed Pumbaa.
"Yeah, you leave them alone or else!" exclaimed Lulu.
"Or else what?!" asked Shenzi in surprise.
"You'll find out if you lay a claw on either one of them!" exclaimed Safi.
"Hey, who are those two girls?! And who's the pig with them?!" asked Banzai.
"Are you talking to me?" asked Pumbaa.
"Uh-oh! They called him a pig!" exclaimed Timon.
"Are you talking to me?!" asked Pumbaa.
"They shouldn't have done that!" exclaimed Safi.
"Are you talking to me?!" asked Pumbaa.
"Now they're gonna get it for sure!" said Lulu.
"THEY CALL ME MR. PIG!" exclaimed
Pumbaa quickly did a war scream just as he charged at Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed and began fiercely beating them up, much to the amazement of Timon, Lulu, Safi, and the six royal advisors. Pumbaa tackles Shenzi, pins down Banzai, and kicks Ed, and just as he fiercely beats up the hyena trio, the others decide to help them out by beating them up. Timon knocks Shenzi and Banzai into the heads, Lulu tackles Shenzi and Ed with her tusks, Safi strikes Banzai and Ed with her wings, Zazu pecks at the three hyenas, Bahati scratches the three hyenas with her claws, Elewa headbutts the three hyenas, Mwanga hops on each of the three hyenas' heads, Afua charges through the three hyenas, and Damisi tackled the three hyenas.
Soon, Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed ran off from the throne room in complete fear upon getting beaten up by their very own prey, and Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, Safi, Zazu, Bahati, Elewa, Mwanga, Afua, and Damsi cheered to themselves for managing to show the hyenas who's boss. During the battle between the Sunrise Pride and Scar's hyena army, Amani informs Simba that she and the rest of the pride will take good care of the hyenas and that he should go search for Scar in order to fight him off and take his rightful place as the sovereign of the Sunrise Kingdom which he agrees to do so, and Simba then began searching for Scar to fight him for the throne of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun since he's the true heir to the throne along with his twin sister Amani.
Soon, Simba quickly notices Scar trying to escape from the whole thing, and Scar quickly notices that Simba has found him just as some lightning flashed in the sky. Upon finding Scar, Simba begins chasing him and Scar quickly flees up to the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun. Scar escapes all the way to the summit of the Royal Kopje, but he quickly notices the flaming barren savannah at the bottom of the Royal Kopje which makes him quickly realize that he is now cornered in the process. Simba quickly arrives at the summit where he confronts Scar and prepares to fight him off to take his rightful place as sovereign and put an end to his tyranny over the Sunrise Kingdom.
"Murderer!" said Simba just as he growled.
"Simba, please! Please, please, please! Please have mercy! I beg of you!" exclaimed Scar in complete fear.
"You don't deserve to live. Even after all of the terrible things that you have done!" exclaimed Simba.
"Everybody deserves a second chance, and I really wanna make up for everything I did to you and everybody else!" exclaimed Scar.
"How? There is nothing to make up for what you did 'cause it's unable to be made up for." said Simba.
"I beg for forgiveness!" exclaimed Scar.
"Forgiveness?! There is no way you'll be forgiven for what you did, Scar!" exclaimed Simba.
"But Simba, I am…uh…um…uh…family, and family has always loved each other no matter what, remember?" asked Scar.
"Oh, stop being such a hypocrite, Scar! And you're also nothing but a coward who has killed my own father and wouldn't accept responsibility for it!"
"Well, in case you haven't noticed, it was the hyenas who are the real enemy of the entire Sunrise Kingdom and everybody of the Sunrise Pride." said Scar. "They're the ones who came up with the idea to kill Mufasa, not me! It was all their fault and they're the ones who did it!"
While Simba continued to approach Scar just as the fire continued to rage on the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun, unbeknownst to both Scar and Simba, the hyena trio Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed has arrived to help out Scar to deal with Simba, but upon overhearing them attempting to blame them for Mufasa's death by claiming it was all their idea and blame them for everything else that has happened, it made them realize that Scar never actually cared about them and only used them for his own personal gain to take over the Sunrise Kingdom. The hyena trio growl in anger at Scar's betrayal and backs away just as they turned on him and prepare to inform everybody else of their hyena clan all about his betrayal.
"Why should I believe that the hyenas are actually responsible for everything that you did to everybody and what you did to yourself?" asked Simba just as he got closer to Scar. "Everything you ever told me and my sister Amani was nothing but packs of lies!"
"What are you gonna do for all of the things I did? You wouldn't kill your own uncle even after all I've done." replied Scar.
"No, Scar. I'm not like you and I already know that I am so much better than you, and Amani is so much better than you as well." said Simba. "I won't kill you at all and I don't think about trying to do so at all."
"Thank you very much for sparing my life, Simba, and I appreciated it so much." said Scar. "I should really turn the favor for you being so noble, and I promise to do so. Tell me anything of how I can owe it to you somehow."
"Run. Run away, Scar, and never return. Go into exile." said Simba.
Scar suddenly became filled with shock. "Yes. I will leave the Sunrise Kingdom and never come back at all since I'm now exiled." He begins leaving while Simba glares at him. "Of course. As you wish…" He suddenly sees some embers on the ground. "...YOUR MAJESTY!"
Scar then uses the embers to throw into Simba's eyes which makes him scream in pain and suddenly jumps onto him, and Scar began biting Simba with his jaws until he manages to break free from Scar's jaws and then Simba and Scar ends fiercely fighting each other on top of the summit of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun for the throne and the title of the sovereign of the Sunrise Kingdom just as the fire began burning fiercely on the Royal Kopje. During the fierce battle between Simba and Scar, Scar believed that the Sunrise Kingdom is still rightfully his even though Simba and his twin sister Amani are still the true heirs to the throne and Simba still vowed to become the rightful sovereign no matter what.
"You will not win, Scar!" exclaimed Simba.
"THIS IS MY KINGDOM AND I AM IT'S SOVEREIGN!" exclaimed Scar.
"NOT ANYMORE, AND I AM THE TRUE SOVEREIGN!" exclaimed Simba.
"We shall see about that!" exclaimed Scar.
Simba and Scar continued to fight each other at the top of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun for the throne just as they fire continued to rage on, and they both hit each other with their paws, clawed each other with their claws, bit each other with their sharp teeth, tackled each other, pinned each other down, and tussled on the ground while they fiercely roared at each other. Scar then fiercely smacks Simba onto the ground and attempts to leap onto him through the raging fire, and Simba quickly uses his legs to kick Scar which sends him flying off of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun and roughly lands on the ground.
Simba quickly went to the ledge of the summit to see how Scar turned out, and Scar slowly got up and suddenly notices Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed approaches them through the raging flames and the three hyenas look very angry at him. Scar warmly greets them, but he quickly learns that they overheard his attempt to betray them by blaming them for Mufasa's death and the ruin of the Sunrise Kingdom, and Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed has lost all faith in him completely and now vows to get revenge on Scar for betraying him, much to Scar's horror.
"My friends," said Scar.
"Friends? I thought he said that we were the enemy since Mufasa's death was all our fault!" said Shenzi.
"Yeah! That's exactly what I heard he said about us, and he even said that it was all our idea in the first place!" said Banzai.
"Ed?" asked Shenzi and Banzai just as Ed laughed very sadistically.
"Wait a minute! Let…Let…Let me explain! I was just trying to…" exclaimed Scar, but Shenzi suddenly interrupts him.
"No, let us explain! We're so sick and tired of you treating us as nothing but dirty and using us to get what you want!" exclaimed Shenzi.
"So, now it's payback time for all of the lies you put us through, and it's making you the main course!" exclaimed Banzai.
"We're done being your unwitting pawns, Scar!" exclaimed Shenzi.
"And us being your little instruments ends right now!" exclaimed Banzai.
"Get him, everybody! There's the true main course!" exclaimed Shenzi and Banzai just as Ed laughed sadistically.
Suddenly, more of the hyenas began surrounding Scar along with Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed with very hungry expressions since they're still very hungry from having any food and water due to the drought and famine and they all have decided to eat Scar instead in order to have their revenge on him for his lack of loyalty towards them and has only been using them the whole time. Realizing his mistake, Scar attempts to explain himself in order to save himself from being devoured by his former hyena henchmen, but the hyenas ignore him since they had enough of his lies, mistreatment towards them, and especially his broken promises. In their hunger and vengeance, they all pounce on Scar and ate him alive just as flames rise around the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun, sealing Scar's fate forever just as Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, and the rest of the hyenas all get killed in the fire while they ate Scar in the process.
