MH2: Night of the Fright Ball Chapter 16: Peace amongst monsters and kaiju, a Godzilla + Monster High Crossover fanfic

Junior Pov:

"It's never easy to take a life. I know the feeling well when it came to taking Komos's life last year, especially how most of the usual Kaiju that used to come after me stopped since they realized I could destroy them. Though when we all saw Ghidorah did was different, with no hesitation in destroying Keizer. What's messed up about it was what he said before being disintegrated was about choosing a queen and Clawdeen saying we all chose each other; I mean could it work? The daughter of the king of darkness, a reanimated ghoul with the mind of multiple geniuses and a half human werewolf that helped all of us get together. For the first time it actually feels good to have people around me that can handle what I am as well what I'll be eventually, but then it hits that they'll be facing the same punks that chased me when I was kid. However with what I saw last night and the struggle they went through to get back Draculaura and Mira? I believe they can handle anything."

Morning-Monster High

There was news going amongst the monster and kaiju community about the activity that happened in the human world as well with the witch coven that abducted Draculaura and Mira. They had to handle the clean up at the coven and take in Queen Zamara for what she did except for Ellis since Junior had to convince Dracula that he wasn't like his mother. Especially Clawdeen since she hadn't said anything to her friends about her visit from Mothra and Gojira when they thought she might have not survived the wraith silver she came to contact with. Waking up from the long night they had experienced, Clawdeen saw Junior missing from bed and saw Frankie sleeping by Draculaura's coffin since they didn't want anyone or anything to bother the tired-out vampire from the trip back to the school. Deciding to get breakfast and some for the others, Clawdeen decided to get breakfast for them and Junior if he happened to return back to the room. She saw Mira standing in front of the doorway who looked surprised in seeing her awake at this time of hour.

"Sorry if I'm bothering you after what's happened but I need to speak to you. It involves you when you were unconscious."

She asked for Clawdeen's attention due to how it was important she spoke to her since it was impossible for anyone to survive contact with wraith silver. Especially Junior since his powers gave him an edge to withstand the enchanted metal, it left Clawdeen to oblige to her request as she was curious about what Mira wanted to talk about.

"For a while I've been dealing with headaches and images coming into my head. It involved someone speaking to me that I thought was impossible, my mother. Who I believed you came into contact with last night."

Mira explained what she's been going through a change in herself as well being contacted by Mothra. Clawdeen was silent at the moment due to how she thought it was all in her head when she passed out, though with her daughter being the same as Mothra and having abilities that are being questioned.

"It wasn't just her I met; it was Gojira too. Both of them looked at me and questioned whether or not I'd go back to help them or see my mother again. I was almost tempted to stay and be with her again but remembered about being chosen."

Clawdeen telling Mira her side of the story as well showing the moth girl her hands which had been burnt by the wraith silver. Taking a chance to look at her wounds, she could feel the connection that was linked to Junior. She felt not just his connection to her but that of Frankie and Draculaura's flowing through Clawdeen due to their relationship amongst one another.

"But I'm not the only one. Aren't I?"

She asked not Mira but Junior who arrived with a plate of breakfast that was for the four of them and had noticed the two ghouls talking amongst each other. Junior didn't know how to explain himself to Clawdeen about how he cared not just for her but the others since they felt important to him. With him now here with Clawdeen, Mira could explain herself on what might have been the reason for the four of them to become a quad.

"My mother told me about you all staying together, I didn't know what it meant till I saw each of you bonding with one another. The feelings and concern you share has made each of you stronger, especially when it comes to saving each other."

Mira explained on the more they had all been around in numerous occasions and how close each of them had become, it made them bond closer than before. It was difficult to know whether it was good that they could rely on each other, but confused since there hadn't been anything like this in either monster or kaiju history.

"While I'm trying to understand my own abilities. I know that each of you have the same mutual interest in one another and should work on it as soon as possible. Before things start to get difficult."

Advising them how with Junior making the ghouls both his equal and placing them in his life, they should establish how their relationship should be handled. Deciding to allow them to have a personal moment and take her leave, Junior and Clawdeen felt scared since neither of them didn't know what to say or respond to the complication they were in. They barely heard the door open up which jump scared them as it was Draculaura looking at Junior and Clawdeen who didn't know she was listening on the other side, much like Frankie who waved at them by the vampire's side since they had also listened to the conversation.

"So. Just got called from my dad about what happened last night and thought you both want to know what's happening with the Salem Coven. Or do you want to talk about us dating each other?"

Draculaura questioned them with a smirk which made the pair blush at the comment since it seemed she was alright with being a part of the relationship. Heading inside to join up with them and Junior handing out their breakfast with everyone, the three gathered around Draculaura to see what was happening with her as she showed them several text messages on her phone.

"For the past hour since my father checked up on me. He's already had the vampiric council handle Zamara's people, though under much convincing and stopping him from draining their blood. He's turning them over to the other covens that actually want peace, especially Ellis since he'll be working hand with Mira in establishing peace amongst the witch and monster community."

She brought up the fight that happened last night that was cleaned up by the vampire council because of their history with witches and knowing how to keep things discreet from the humans. While adding onto that Ellis would be accompanied by Mira who'd offer support in the chance of peace across the factions in order to avoid this act of aggression from happening again. While it was good to hear that there were positive things to come out of that dramatic night, Junior had to be the one to think opposite due to what he did in choosing his partner.

"And no Junior. I didn't tell my dad about you choosing me as your 'queen'. Since we're all dating each other now, it's our business and ours alone. Though I want to know how things will work out amongst us."

Commenting from the expression that the lizard Kaiju was making that the last thing that Dracula needed from hearing that his daughter was captured by witches was her getting a boyfriend who was a king just like him. It was a difficult question in answering Draculaura's question since he was never in a relationship before, let alone now dating three ghouls who each were special in their own right. Before answering, Frankie's bolt gave off a charge as they were able to give an answer to the conundrum.

"In most aspects of being in a monogamous relationship lies in the partners being close on either an emotional or romantic connection. Though most of the time when humans try to form one it ends up badly or good in aspect of enjoy the company."

Frankie giving an explanation behind the word which made the others unsure of how to respond to their thought of the idea. Taking a second to think of something smart to say, Junior only rubbed the back of his head as the boy was able to come up with a response for Frankie and the others.

"Well I enjoy being around you. Not just because you all tolerate me for being a grouch, often thick headed and of course not social. Which is why I'm grateful I was able in getting to know each of you personally. I'm just unsure if what'll happen next will be my fault."

Junior spoke of how since he met the ghouls his life had changed from just surviving every day to enjoying it as well meeting everyone than performing on stage for one night. Clawdeen and the ghouls could tell how he was concern for each of their safety due to the constant fights that come directly at him for the right to become the new king. It earned him a small nudge on the shoulder for thinking that they'd need to be protected.

"The only fault you can admit is not coming out and telling us about this in the first place. I mean, it's kind of scary in admitting feelings but that doesn't mean we're going say anything humiliating. Besides since we're all going be hanging out more, there be moments where we're not the type of ghouls to run away from a fight."

Clawdeen spoke with a smirk and showed her claws which caused Junior to blush at how fierce she was acting. Draculaura smirked at how she'd be perfect to represent the creative and wild part of the relationship, much like herself who'd keep everyone focused and Frankie being the heart since they can now share it with the three. With how things were settled on how they'd handle the quad relationship, they heard a knocking on the door which surprised the door as they saw coming in was Armor who looked shocked and nervous about something important happening.

"Everyone's being called to the auditorium right now. Headmistress Bloodgood is making announcement about last night from Fright Ball, Ghidorah's going make his request!"

He announced in an alarmed manner due to that while Clawdeen made her request in helping others feel welcomed at Monster High. Ghidorah's request hadn't been answered due to him leaving to join up in the human world and battle his father. Yet he still had the right to speak out what he's request would be for the school, which could be anything. Preparing for what the three headed dragon would desire, they could only hope whatever it was wouldn't turn out bad for everyone due to what he did last night.

Later-Auditorium

Having gathered the entire school into the auditorium for the announcement about Ghidorah's request from Fright Ball since he wasn't there last night. Everyone muttered on what it be due to how it could be him challenging Junior to a fight for the title of king, maybe even make him class president and have control over his fellow classmates. Junior and the ghouls sat together in a row staring at the stage and seeing the rest of their friends by their side looking tired and exhausted from last night's events.

"Hey King. Next time you want to bring us along on a trip that involves a fight? Make sure you have something for a headache. That's the last time I'm going in unprepared."

Heath spoke out to Junior since this was the first time he had to experience an actual monster fight against witches and a cyborg kaiju. The lizard merely nodded if there was another chance of getting the fire imp ready if he had to bring him in another fight, possibly soon if Ghidorah's request makes his time at Monster High a nightmare. Looking up to the stage where they saw Bloodgood and Varan standing together in a serious manner so they could address the students.

"Over the last few days there has been trouble brewing, from the witch attack to that of the reveal of our own in doing witchcraft. Now while we cannot say the name of the person due to the experience they have went through, there's the matter of how it will be handled. Ghidorah?"

Bloodgood announced that the duress that had fallen under the school. The choice of whether to handle it lies with the three headed dragon due to him not telling his request to Monster High. It went silent as they saw him walking up on stage where he saw many of his classmates curious about what he'd ask for and how'd he respond to the witch attack.

"As you know. These brothers have a history of trouble making in the past but has recently changed due to him and Toralei when it came standing against witchcraft. Whether or not your ideals have changed after the speech Clawdeen Wolf gave last night. It'll be up to him in whatever he desires for the betterment of Monster High."

Varan stated on Ghidorah's perspective on the matter, and it be a questionable debate where he'd stand against witchcraft. With them taking a step back to let the brothers have their request answered, Kevin noticed amongst the crowd was Toralei who looked at him and his brothers in a questionable manner due to what they did last night for the others. Ghidorah grabbed the microphone and allowed Kevin to have his say since it was time he had the chance to be heard instead of himself and their other brother.

"Each of us aren't exactly the upstanding Kaiju you know us for. We've been involved in numerous 'antics' that have resulted your perspective on us. It was only due to us not learning to adapt here with all of you, which has resulted in looking after ourselves and no one else. Yet we still were welcomed by everyone and were treated as friends despite how we acted. Right, Ikari?"

He explained that how they acted left an impression that no one could be near them due to how aggressive and hostile they could be. Turning over to the right head and calling out his true name, Ikari kept quiet due to his name translated to 'Anger' in Japanese. Which was the reason why he acts combinative around anyone who comes too close to him.

"It took a while for us to realize we can be more than how our father raised us. Along others convincing us we can stand out, even at a time whether we were our own monster or our father's."

Admitting how he and the other brothers didn't know until then they could become different than Keizer was. It was surprising how open he was right now since no one knew how he was the one that destroyed his father. The last one to speak was Ghidorah as the middle head knew what his request would be for Monster High as he knew what he'd want for everyone as well himself and his brothers.

"Which is why our request. Is for others like myself to be given a second chance to be welcomed at Monster High, whether they know witchcraft or been told to follow the old ways. This school is made for everyone, and we accept them for who they are!"

Ghidorah spoke out which made everyone cheer for the three headed dragon's request which caused the school to let out what peaceful sound on the request. Junior could tell from how he spoke out made Pandora happy that it wasn't too late to change. With that being announced and things settled, the principals allowed the students to make their way out to enjoy the rest of the day to themselves.

"Guess we're one rival down. Maybe this means if there's anyone else who might want to come at me, they can talk to Ghidorah and see there's no point in it."

Junior suggested since this could be a sign of any potential Kaiju's that want to fight for the title would see that they could be more than just king. Though he heard a laughter from the side as the four noticed it was Ghidorah with Toralei walking by his side which made the four unsure of what was going on.

"You'd think that wouldn't you? Just because I'm forfeiting the crown doesn't mean we won't beat you. Ghidorah's aren't the type to give up easy when it comes to power. Besides, what exactly is a king. To a god?"

He asked Junior in which he saw Ghidorah and his brother's eyes glowed at how they would strive to be better than him and be something more than king. The lizard merely smirked at the alien dragon since he couldn't wait to see what they would try to in order to be popular than him. Meanwhile, Toralei walked over to check out Clawdeen as she saw the same burned scar she'd had earned from the wraith silver she'd encountered at the coven.

"Nice scars. Makes you much more intimidating, going need it since your hanging around the lizard. Though I'm sure you'll have help from the others since your apparently dating."

Toralei complimented Clawdeen and teasing at the new relationship she was now in. Though she didn't know about being with Frankie and Draculaura as well which made it even special since they all had now something in common. Seeing how the moment was feeling special that there was a chance witchcraft could be allowed at the school, Draculaura wanted to say something to the three since the drama was over.

"Dating is one thing, but sharing each other's company is a whole other ordeal that I'm fortunate to be in. Especially now since we're together."

She spoke on being grateful for having them in her after life and sharing it at the same time. Hearing that made Clawdeen smile to her as she suddenly felt Junior's hand holding hers, along Frankie's as the four of them soon held hands and laughed softly on how it be a challenge for them to have this relationship.

"When you following your heart, know your friends are never far. Who's been from the start, you know who you monsters are."

Clawdeen singing softly of where her heart would be with and knowing who she'd be. Hearing the rhythm from her singing and having an idea to continue the song, Frankie looked over at a nearby boombox where they turned it on with a jolt of electricity. With the music turned on and giving Clawdeen a beat, she decided to dance out this positive feeling that was building up inside of her.

"I know now, figured it out it's all about. Standing up for what you believe! So powerful, unstoppable, my inner wolf. I meant to be the friend that you need."

Describing herself as she brought Junior over to dance with her which drew the attention of the other students. The Kaiju was nervous at how he close he was to her, especially now since he was dating her now and the others. The emotion slowly went away as he started to share the same feeling that Clawdeen was having, it left Junior to let go and have fun.

"The world might change, no turning back. But look around you found you pack."

Calling out to the others as he soon lets out a roar to the hallways for the Kaiju and monsters to dance with them. Hearing Junior's call to them sparked that of a frenzy which caused the students to participate in the dance the werewolf and lizard was doing. Just as they were following the beat, Armor rolled by Junior's side with his guitar to add more to the background music that Frankie put on for everyone to enjoy.

"Dancing with you in the dark. Making magic, making sparks. Who's been there from the start, you know who your monsters are! Never let you fall apart, every smile and every scar. Who sees your truest heart, you know who your monsters are!"

Everyone calling out as each of the students were expressing themselves as well their abilities. From Abby making an ice sculpture of a giant yeti which looked like a relative of hers, to Rhodey igniting it on fire in a flashy manner to make the statue glow brightly. Frankie watched in amazement at the show her classmates were putting on as they decided to participate by making several the lockers open up in synchronize to match Junior's guitar solo.

"Tried to be tough and level up, but I'm enough. I always had the power in me."

Believing that despite the upgrades they gave themself in order to catch up with their friends. Frankie was alright the way they were, though with a few quirks as they noticed how the rapid movement of the lockers caused them to fall apart. Luckily, they stop before hitting the floor by Draculaura's magic as she was able to fix them back to how they were before.

"Why walk alone through the unknown, I should've known. I'm stronger with you all on my team."

Responding that she was stronger with Frankie by her side after seeing them in action. Bring them along to dance with Clawdeen and Junior, Mira was by her brother side as he saw Cleo enjoying the moment with her friends and telling Ceasar to participate in the moment. Deuce wanted to join in but didn't know how to join in since he was nervous of dancing with the mummy ghoul. The moth girl opened up her wings to slowly push him over where he accidentally tips and was about to fall, only for Cleo to catch him in her arms as the two were surprised at being together again.

"The world might change, no turning back. But look around you found you pack and that's a fact."

Mira sang as she opened up her wings and flew up into the air to show off her abilities as she luminated the hallways and made it shine. Deciding to take it outside, the divine moth flew out the doors where the others followed as well seeing Mira making the plants around her grow around the grass.

Everyone singing together as well cheering out to Mira's power as the moth girl invited anyone who could fly to join her in the air. Seeing half of the monsters and Kaiju sprouting their wings to flying up in the sky, they stopped at the sudden sound of lighting above them as everyone saw Toralei riding on Ghidorah as the two descended to the ground in a flashy manner. The two did a dance together which drew the attention of other students who soon join in on their dance.

"Friends you can fly to with your problems, Monsters are! The words to say until you solve them, Monsters are! The kind of heroes you can count on. Let's show them who we really are!"

Toralei and Ghidorah singing as they couldn't help but laugh at despite what's happened. There was a moment of peace they could enjoy without hiding it and having to act tough around their classmates. Thinking of helping make their moment special, Junior lets out a blast from his mouth into the air which caught everyone's attention. Quickly reacting to the surprise roar, Draculaura used a spell to guide the beam around in a circle in midair like if it was a comet.

Calling out to who they were and being proud of it. Soon enough any Kaiju and monster who could use projectile attacks to light up the sky in a colorful manner like if it was fireworks in the day. Clawdeen taking the chance brings the ghouls and Junior over to dance together, they smiled at one another as well displaying their unique abilities to show off their inner monsters out.

"Friends you can fly to with your problems, Monsters are! The words to say until you solve them, Monsters are! The kind of heroes you can count on. Let's show them who we really are!"

They shouted as the group finished the song in a triumphant manner that left laughing at the experience they just had together. Feeling special about how close they were with the three, Frankie brought them together for a selfie since it was special moment that they wanted to remember. Being close to the reanimated ghoul, each of them smiled and got close to them which made Frankie blush since they could be this way due to them dating. It resulted in being electrocuted, but it was worth it since they each will be sharing their afterlife with one another and the responsibility of helping out with whatever problems would occur for the rest of the semester.

Unknown Location

Within the deeps of jungle like land where there were numerous large animals moving about trying to survive the harsh environment. There was large rumbling sound that scared most of them away as it came from a skull like castle at center of the jungle. Within its hallways with numerous skulls of beasts and different manners of creatures, in one of the rooms was an ape that was wrestling with a serpent like creature with two arms and large jaws trying to attack the primate. Getting the upper hand and grabbing the neck, she began to slowly squeeze it tightly making it go unconscious.

"Princess Kali."

A voice spoke out to her as the ape snapped the serpent's neck in one move at the mention of her name. Throwing the serpent to the side, Kali looked over to see an orange haired ape with scars around his body standing at the entrance to inform her of an urgent matter.

"There has been a disturbance above the human world. A battle has occurred, as well the roar of an old enemy."

He explained which made the female ape shocked at what he announced to her. Not saying anything, Kali moved past him and walked down the hallways. She traveled to a memorial room with several hand drawn images of an ape looking after his people and battling the same creatures that Kali had just killed seconds ago. At the center of the memorial was a bone shaped axe with a scale piece that was glowing dark blue.

"After all these years of that lizard hiding away from us father. Gojira has returned."

She spoke to the axe softly before grabbing onto the handle. Just as Kali held onto the bone weapon, Kali felt a rush of power traveling down her spine and her eyes glowing when she interacted with the weapon. Spinning it around several times to display her control over the axe, she slams the end to the ground that made the walls around her shake at its presence.

"Tell our people to be ready Scar. Their king will finally be avenged, after I take off his head."

Kali telling the orange ape as he nodded in obedience as he headed off to tell them about the return of the lizard. Kali herself, thought about how Gojira killed her father due to him admitting he was stronger than him. Continuing to think about the day her father's life was taken, Kali made her way out of the room where she walked over to a balcony where Scar was by and waited for her arrival. Coming outside, Kali looked below seeing numerous apes like herself raising their fists in the air when they heard thew news of Gojira returning.

"Kong! Kong! Kong!"

They chanted several times at the name of their old king as they praised his daughter on taking over the role of her father in leading them. Looking over across from the village that was outside was more landscape showing beasts flying over the land as well the sky having mountains above the clouds. Gripping her axe tight and looking up at the sky, she would prepare herself to avenge King Kong and let the world know that he was the one true king of the Kaiju.

"Curious about how Junior's relationship will affect his duties as king and handling school at the same time? Exactly who is Kali Kong and the connection to her peculiar weapon? You'll have to stick around in the near future for the story to be written.
