Wu ws rubbing his beard in contemplation as he said "Your powers are becoming stronger. How did you know about the moon's magnetic polarity?"

"I'm a science geek, usually my interests are things involving nature." Dana replied as she sat with the others in the monastery's living room.

Wu smiled as he said "Tsuki chose well."

"Is that her name?" Zane asked with wide eyes.

Wu nodded as he replied "It means moon in our old tongue." a fond look in his eyes.

"So first a teleporter and now a gem wielder of sorts. What does this mean Sensei, are there new elemental masters?" Lloyd asks.

Wu hummed as he said "It does not sound like it, no. I have never heard of these so-called abilities before, not like this."

"Do you perhaps think they were caused by unnatural forces?" Zane asked.

"It is a possibility, but I will research more on the matter for now. You should all get some rest after today."

They all nodded but Zane came up and said "Sensei, may I look over the documents you have on the moon fairy. I…wish to know more about her."

Wu smiled as he said "Of course."

"Do you mind if I take a look as well, I should probably learn as much about my new abilities as possible." Dana added.

Wu chuckled and said "That you should, but as I said, tonight you should all rest. And tomorrow we can begin."

They nodded at this and headed off.

Ninjago

It was night, and the land was still as Zane walked through Birchwood forest.

"Hello?" the ice ninja called as he looked about the land surrounded by his element.

Suddenly he saw something shining brightly within the trees, a tall female figure stood there as they just stared across the land.

"Tsuki…." Zane called as he stretched his arm out, and as he was about to reach her he smiled asking "Mother?"

But as the figure turned around the figure morphed into Gemica, calling "Come to mama." as she smirked.

Zane screeched as he awoke in his bed to find that all that he had seen was a dream.

'More like a nightmare.'

He brushed his fingers through his hair as he spoke "I dearly hope that was not some sort of vision."

A knock at the door came and "Zane are you alright, I heard screaming?" Dana called.

Zane jumped slightly and said "Yes I am unharmed."

"Was it a bad dream?"

Zane stiffened, 'How did she know?'

He sighed and replied "Yes."

Dana seemed to take a moment before replying "Can I come in."

Zane's eyes widened, from what he knew women and men did not go into each other's rooms because of courtesy, but….

He did not feel like being alone.

"Ye…yes…I mean you can."

At this Dana stepped in and looked at the room slightly before looking at Zane "Hey, I know you're alright physically, but what about mentally? I know what happened today was pretty bad."

"You are the one that was attacked." she came up to sit next to him on the bed.

"True, I was freaking out for a bit after our talk with Sensei. Though now it's just dealing with the burnout from the adrenaline rush." she chuckled.

"True, that can be a bit much to handle. But you did well and came up with various plans as well." Zane smiled.

"I hope I didn't steal Lloyd thunder with that." Dana got nervous.

Zane shook his head "Not at all, he is actually quite happy to hear ideas from the team. I believe it helps to relieve a bit of the stress of leadership."

"Good to know, now what about you. Do you want to talk about the dream, what happened today, or what?" she frowned.

Zane frowned back unsure as he said "I am uncertain. I suppose talking of the discomfort may help, but I do not know if it will ever go away."

"I don't think it does, I think you just learn to manage it better. And it's okay, no one should be made to feel like that." she held his hand, making Zane's face heat up.

"I…Thank you." he sighed.

He began to talk of his dream and how he felt and about the day's events as well.

Dana shivered hearing about the dream and said "Your day really was awful and it's okay to feel the way you feel, but you're safe now and Gemica's in jail. And hopefully next time I see her I'll take her out before she can do anything." she growled. .

Zane chuckled at this and said "Thank you, but that will not be necessary. I just wish I could return to bed without trouble." he sighs.

"Maybe we can stay up and watch a movie. Get your mind off things."

Zane shook his head and said "I must try to sleep if I am to study all I can on Tsuki."

"Hmm, I suppose. Do you think you can head back to sleep on your own." she frowns.

"I, um…am uncertain." he looked down.

Dana frowned and then said "I'll be right back."

Zane looked up confused as she left and then rushed back in after a moment, and in her hands was the mooncat plush.

Zane raised a brow at this as she sat and handed him the toy.

He looked confused as he looked down at the plush in his hands and Dana said "Just hug it, sometimes something soft can be comforting."

Zane had heard of this but never really tried the method himself, he shrugged though and did as Dana asked.

As he held the toy cat and felt its soft fur, and how it squished under his arms he couldn't help but let out a sight of contempt.

Dana chuckled at this as she moved over and then said "Now lay down."

Zane looked confused but decided to listen, 'She must be trying to help me return to sleep mode.'

As his head hit the pillow he could not help but feel a smile on his face as she scooted closer up to him and then did something unexpected.

She started singing…

"Deep in the meadow, under the willow.

A bed of grass, a soft green pillow."

She was singing to him, like she did so before back in the cave.

"Lay down your head, and close your eyes.

And when they open, the sun will rise."

His mind drifted back to that time, their adventure had been trying and he had been severely hurt. And Dana, she comforted him with a song as they waited for the others to come to help them.

"Here it's safe, and here it's warm.

Here the daisies guard you from every harm."

Dana knew it may seem foolish to others to sing away your problems, but this was what she could offer him. And she was willing to help him, because he had helped him, and because she knew this would be how she would want to be comforted.

"Here your dreams are sweet, and tomorrow brings them true.

Here is the place where I love you."

Both felt a flush at that last verse but Dana went on and as she did Zane could not help but feel his lids became heavy. Her melodic voice easing his mind.

"Deep in the meadow, hidden far away.

A cloak of green, a moon beam ray."

The moon shined through his window and as her eyes reflected their light Zane could not help but think, 'Her eyes are like the moon.'

"Forget your woes, and let your troubles lay.

And when again it's morning, they'll wash away.

Here it's safe, and here it's warm.

Here the daisies guard you from every harm.

Hre your dreams are sweet, and tomorrow brings them true.

Here is the place where I love you."

Dana had lost herself in the song and sighed at the end of it. She loved this song. It was so lovely and sweet.

Then she felt something stir beneath her, she looked down to see Zane, his body slowly rising and falling from his rhythmic breathing.

Dana had to smile as she thought 'I didn't know he did that, since he doesn't need air. It goes to show just how alive he is.'

She found herself staring at the peaceful man as he held the cat plush and the moonlight shone over his silver form.

'He's beautiful.' she smiled before getting up and heading out.

Dana took one last look before leaving, the sweet image engraving itself in her mind.

Ninjago

Zane stirred in his sleep, finding it more comfortable than usual as he snuggled into something soft.

As he inhaled something tickled his nose, 'Is that the scent of Sakuras?'

Opening his eyes he was surprised at what he found 'the moon cat plush.'

Flashes of last night returned to him as his power source began to whirr.

'So it was not a dream.' All he could do was look down at the plush, its silver eyes looking up at him before he smiled and took it with him as he headed out.

Outside….

Dana was starting to think this was a bad idea.

After some basic training and trying to see if she could get past the course, again failing, they were having trouble trying to figure out what to do to train her abilities.

Dana had ended up coming up with an idea though, one she was dearly regretting.

"Guys I don't know about this anymore."

Dana frowned as she looked down from her position on a very thin looking pole.

"Come on Dana, you're the one who wanted to try this." Jay crossed his arms.

"I know, I overestimated things." she whimpered.

"Dana it's okay, yesterday you were balancing on the second floor of the mall, and then landed on your feet. I think you can do this." Nay smirked.

"Yeah but that was when I was high on adrenaline, not so much now." Dana whimpered again as she wobbled some.

At this moment Zane came out and sensed Dana's tensions he rushed over and said "Dana, it will all be fine."

"And then what, that doesn't always work." Dana frowns.

'She is too worked up.' Zane took a moment to think and then smiled.

"Then instead think of how you were capable of doing this with ease yesterday."

"I told Nya, it was adrenalin." Dana growled as she wobbled more, getting really agitated.

"It was not just that, you had a reason to fight. Think of that reason, is it not the reason you were able to do what you did?"

At that Dana instantly stilled. 'What was my reason, yes I was mad she was so close to Zane, but the true reason…..'

Memories of being bullied came up and the idea of people being treated like that made her blood boil.

Why did she do this?

She looked across the bare, imagining Gemica with her stupid grin and the way she could flaunt about hurting others without caring for the consequences.

A growl rose from her throat, Kai saying "Um what's going on…"

And with that she bolted across the thin pipe, as if she were running across a flat field, reaching the end she jumped off and then landed on her feet.

"She did it!" Cole shouted with excitement.

As Dana turned about though, she began to wobble as she bent over and the others rushed up.

"You okay?" Lloyd asked.

"I think I overdid it." she whimpered.

"We should let you rest for now. Do you need anything?" Zane asked as he came up, giving her the plush cat.

Dana took it and hugged it as she said "I could use some help getting to the living room."

Zane nodded as he helped walk her in.

The others smirked at this as they knew, it wouldn't be long now.
