The camera opens on to a scenic view of an old summer camp, one that looked like it had not been used in decades. Dust and cobwebs covering the interiors of old cabins and a mess hall before the camera finally stopped onto a familiar set up. A set of chairs made of old tree stumps and a fire pit, the screen slowly fading to black until the Total Drama logo fades in, the screen then fading back to show two people standing on a set of familiar docks. One a woman with short dark hair and a camp counselor inspired outfit of a t-shirt and khaki shorts, the other a tall black man wearing a dark blue button up and black slacks.
"Hello viewers! My name is Alana McClean-O'Halloran, a very familiar name to some. For those confused kids however, ask you parents and they'll tell you of the big celebrity custody battle of 2012 between tv show hosts Chris McClean and Blainey O'Halloran." Alana explained with a dismissive wave of her hand, her elbow on the taller man's shoulder, leaning against him as she continued. "And this handsome man is the nephew of Chef Hatchet, Desmond, or Dez for short." She finished, giving Dez a flirty wink who only rolled his eyes before gently nudging her elbow off him and began his speech.
"We are here to promote the upcoming season of Total Drama, expect this time the contestant will be like our... Lovely host, children of the original contestants. It's been 35 years since the original premiere in 2007 and many of the former contestants have children who want to follow their parents' footsteps, all for the chance to win 1 million dollars. Or redeem their parents in some way, we don't really care." Dez explained with a small shrug.
We'll have kids of your favorite contestants, least favorite, and the ones who no one even remembers." Dez continued to explain only to be cut off by a giggle from Alana. "Yeah, like those poor losers from Pahkitew and like half of the Revenge cast. We all know that people only care about the original three season contestants." Alana sniped, earning an annoyed sigh from Dez. "Anyway, please tune in to watch us return to where it all started. This is Total Drama: Lineage!" Both announcing as the screen once more fades away, this time showing the new logo for the show.
AN: Hey, so i have been out of the Total Drama fandom for a bit but with the release of the reboots i have been going back to the fandom and enjoying fanfics both old and new. As well as getting the writing bug, so i decided to come back in my favorite way, with an SYOC! As the hosts said, children from previous contestants will be on the show to compete. Fill free to use any couple you like, all that is required is that at least one of their parents was one of the seasons. You can use cannon couples like Mike and Zoey, make up one, or pair a character with an OC, all is fair game. All i ask is that no children of the reboot cast be used but feel free to use any from TDI to TDPI. I do ask for a little explanation on how the couple got together if it's a made-up pairing or one with an OC however, just to know a bit about them. Beyond that though, have fun, let me know if you have any questions and i can't wait to see your submissions! The form will be on my profile for easy copy and pasting. And yes before you ask, Chris and Blainley had a child together and she is going to be awful xD
