Authors Note: And now, a rewrite of my Hazbin High School fanfic! I'm rewriting it because the original wasn't really that great. So it's time to make it better! I don't own Hazbin Hotel, it belongs up Vivienne Medrano. Please read and review!
Chapter One: First Day Is Hard
Xandar's P.O.V:
I looked at the high school with a frown. The sign displayed the name "Hazbin High School," in big colorful letters. Kinda like a rainbow. As I took in the surroundings I saw a student with a hat that had a feather on it, a red jacket over a black shirt and blue jeans. The defining feature of this student was the heart shaped sunglasses.
He held a cigarette as he talked to his two peers. One wore a black suit with blue tie. The other had two ponytails and wore all red. The student with the sunglasses saw me and took in my appearance. He smirked and winked causing me to blush. I walked into the school as the smell of cigarettes and liquor filled my nostrils with unpleasant overload.
As I walked through looking for the office I saw a guy wearing a shirt with aces and spades, another in a red tuxedo and the last was...I think a girl. But he had a flat chest. Oh wait, that's a guy? I found the office where a girl with grey hair saw me. She had an unpleasant gaze. "Name?" She asked me simply.
"Aren't you like, 20?" I asked in surprise. She raised an eyebrow. "Sorry. I'm Xandar," I say quickly. The moment I said it, she opened the door to the office and said, "He's here!"
"Wonderful!" A cheery voice replied. A woman, who I think was 20 as well walked out. Much like one of the students, she had a red tuxedo too. Only this one was feminine. "Hi! I'm Charlie," she introduced holding out a hand.
"I'm-" I start only for her to wave a hand dismissively.
"I know who you are, come into my office." I entered and saw a coffee mug that read, "Number 1 daughter!" Charlie smiled as she sat down. "Welcome to Hazbin High School. I am the founder Charlie Morningstar. Here we believe in redemption."
"Hello. I believe in good grades and kindness?" I practically asked.
"Awesome!" She cheered. "Now, while you will be attending classes, you'll also be a peer specialist of sorts. Helping me to redeem students." Wait what?
"Forgive me Ms. Morningstar-"
"You can just call me Charlie."
"Alright..." I trail off for a moment. "I'm going to help redeem students?" I ask incredulously. She nodded eagerly. "O-ok. I'll try. I'm not quite sure what I can do though."
"Don't worry!" She replied cheerfully. She grabbed a stack of papers and practically shoved them into my hands. "These are the lessons. These ones are your personal studies for your redemption."
"I actually am quite innocent Ms...I mean, Charlie." Why do people think I'm not nice?
"Oh, I know. But you need to set an example as peer specialist. Also, don't worry about being younger than the teachers, I feel that's lumping people in a hive." I nodded and stood up. Before I left Charlie stepped in front of me.
"Thank you," she said with a smile.
"For?" I inquired.
"Helping make a difference for these wonderful students." She had the sweetest smile and a kind exterior. But why did she look familiar?
"You're welcome. Oh right, what's my first class?" I ask.
"Math with Mr. Pentious." Great. Math.

As I sat through the class, I saw the feminine guy staring at me. I turned to him and he made a vulgar hand motion of one finger going through a circle. I blushed and turned back to my studies. The others were staring at me. Especially the red tuxedo guy. I raised an eyebrow and kept writing.
The bell rang after a few more uncomfortable moments. "Classss dissmisssed!" Mr. Pentious announced. Why the heck does he talk like a snake?
"Hello there fellow student!" A voice cheered and I turned to see the tuxedo guy.
"Uh. Hi? I'm Xandar. And you are-" I was cut off by him practically flying into my face.
"Alastor my friend! A pleasure to meet you! So, you're Charlie's help with redemption?" He asked.
"Yeah...are you looking to join?" I inquire and he smiled wider than before. Does he seriously smile ALL the time?
"Yes indeedy! Though I'm not looking for redemption myself. I'm here to watch them climb the hill of betterment, only to fail repeatedly," he growled The last part.
"Right..." I replied awkwardly.

Angel Dust's P.O.V:
That new student was kinda cute. As class ended, I noticed him talking to Smiles. Already creeping out another student. As I walked, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pick it up and notice a text from my fellow student/boss Valentino.
Valentino: Come to the lunchroom. We need to talk about the new student. Make it fast Angel Cakes.
I typed back a simple "Yes Val," and went toward the lunchroom. Fuck. I hate him. He's such a sleaze ball. I noticed him with the other V's. Vox and Velvet. He notices me, puffs on his cigarette and blows a smoke heart in my direction. I sigh and go up to him.
"So, Angel Cakes...where is my video? You know very well that it needs to be done by tomorrow night," he said seductively, though reading between the lines, he was angry.
"I'm working on it Val. It'll be ready," I replied.
"Good. But that's not all."
"Sir?" I asked anxiously.
"That new guy," he began with a smirk. "He seems young, impressionable. I need you to hire him. Need more workers for my website. Plus, he looks DAMN good." Is he seriously asking me to recruit a new guy?"
"Val...don't ya have enough workers? Why him of all people?" I inquired. Val growled, puffed and blew the smoke in my face. I cough. Fucking asshole.
"I need all the help I can get. Plus, you won't be good looking forever. Besides, you're 20. He looks 19. He'll outdo you when you're old." This bastard. "Do you understand?" He growled.
"Yes Valentino." I just know this won't go well...

Xandar's P.O.V:
I sat in the lunch room, journaling my first day here. So far so good. I think that things will work out fine. As I write, Alastor sits next to me.
"Hello there Xandar!" He practically cheers. I look at him with an expression of being uncomfortable.
"Hi Alastor," I replied still feeling weird. "How are you?" I asked trying to be polite.
"I'm well! But I'm here to introduce you to someone! This is my friend Husker!" He said pushing someone onto the seat. It was that guy with the Ace and Spades outfit.
"Hi," Husker drawls uninterested. "I'm Husk."
"Hello, I'm Xandar," I replied holding out a hand for him to shake. He raised an eyebrow.
"Whatever," he said and took a swig of some beer. I pull my hand back and give a nod.
"He is one of the few students in Charlie's rehabilitation program!" Alastor explained.
"Not by choice," Husk added annoyed. "Besides, I'm here for the free booze."
"I can see that," I said through a false smile. "Well, if that's all, I'm going to study for my first day of the program." I then picked up my lunch tray, dumped it in the trash and left the room.
Boy, this day keeps getting more and more interesting. Little did I know, the next few months would be...entertaining.
