Posting to keep this story on the front page and also as a notice since it's been over two months (I know this kinda update is against the rules but this place clearly hasn't been moderated lately so who give a shit. If everyone else can break rules with more heinous shit and not get punished I can have this.)

Part 2 is at 32,460 words out of the 40,000 mark I have to hit on the word doc to finish and have both parts be 20k words each. Part 3 work will begin more or less immediately after that give or take a day. I'm just very tired. My college schedule has me falling asleep the moment I get home even when I have things I need to do which I can barely keep up with. On top of this I've been continuing to monitor the genocide in Palestine and all the legal proceedings/awareness raising around the killing and crimes. I just feel myself pulled many ways and while I'm channeling that emotion into the work (and I do work on this at least once a day on the days I don't blackout) there's more times lately where I know what I want to write but I just can't find any words. I feel like a pen that's skipping ink. I have no real leisure time or the mind for it. As soon as I post this I'm gonna try tackling another important scene because it's set up for the final arc of the novella into the climax. Then I'm gonna play Age of Empires 2. I may or may not try writing more after for the day.

Thanks for your patience. Please join speaking up about Palestine and looking for credible news and testimony on it if you aren't already. Do not take how Western media is treating the genocide at face value and don't get fatigued by despair which becomes indifference. Read on Palestinian culture and history. Some kind of ceasefire MUST give eventually. May it be fair and just for Palestinians and punishment on Israel.

I'm part of the Tekken com on tumblr where we analyze and dissect both the story and our favorite characters/dynamics constantly in an intellectual way more than we know the gameplay itself, so don't ask me any gameplay questions beyond the most basic shit (though I also like beating people online)

Part 2 should be out at least before my birthday in early March, which is the most I can promise. I've tried fitting in more events and characterization since it's not the start anymore. Leave more reviews; I read everything and sometimes I respond.
