Nico sighed. Other than the Percy problem,he was feeling anxious and depressed. Nobody liked him. Nobody wanted him. Nobody cared about him. Nico was alone. Again. Or...he always was.

He was laying in bed,unable to sleep,it was about...one am? Nico didn't particularly care,until his phone rang,showing an image of Percy in a denim jacket and sunglasses,making a peace sign as the caller image.

Nico swiped on the green phone symbol,praying that his voice wouldn't shake as he spoke.

"Hey."

"Hey."

The sound of Percy's voice made Nico's heart beat faster. He was barely in control,and felt like a passenger in his own body,as he naturally adopted a softer,more natural voice talking to Percy.

"So,care to explain why you called me at one A.M?"

"Care to explain why you picked up and one A.M?" There was a touch of humor in Percy's voice that made it worth picking up.

"Oh,you know. I'm up,since...yeah just- nevermind."

Percy sighed. "Oh. Depression again. Anything specific?"

Nico rubbed his arm slowly,but very self-conciously. "I just...feel like nobody cares. And,even if they do...gods,i'm selfish."

"What do you mean selfish? You're the actual most selfless person i know!"

Nico sighed. "I just...can you come over? Your voice is familiar and all that crap,but you actually being here helps."

Percy said, "Yeah, I'm at the door now." And hung up,then walked in the cabin.

Nico quickly wiped his tears away and sat up,pretending like he wasn't just crying.

He glanced up at Percy's face,and he looked kind of messy.

Percy looked,well, cliche,but...hot.

Nico sighed. "Hi..."

Percy felt himself blush as the all-too-farmiliar wave of desire swept over him. He wanted Nico to be happy,but also his.

No. No. Bad Percy.

He sat down on the bed,and wiped a tear from Nico's cheek. "Hey. You know how much you mean to me,right?"

Nico shivered at Percy's touch. He was warm,and comforting,while Nico was still just a mess.

Percy drew his hand away. "Sorry. I know you feel weird about physical contact and all that. I should've asked."

Tears welled up in Nico's eyes. Percy really thought that he had to ask,just to wipe his tears away? What he would give for Percy to always wipe them away and he still thought that...

Nico buried his face in Percy's chest,wrapping his arms around his shoulders.

Percy was surprised for a second,but returned the embrace,running his finger's through Nico's hair.

"Huh. When's the last time you combed your hair." Percy said,his words teasing but his tone soft and loving.

Nico felt himself melt at Percy's soft tone and gentle caress. He looked up into Percy's gentle green eyes.

He felt his self-control slowly start to fade,but didn't dare give in.

Percy was so warm,so comforting. So utterly perfect.

Nico,out of nowhere,muttered, "So...i know you've said this,but are you...okay with guys,like,dating other guys?"

Percy nodded. "Yeah."

"So,would...you date a guy?"

"Y-yes..."

"Would you kiss a guy?"

Percy's heart thudded louder suddenly with the tension. "I mean...yeah."

Nico,hardly knowing what he was doing,slid his hands over Percy's and said quietly, "Would you kiss me?"

And all of the sudden,Percy pulled Nico close,closer than before,and kissed him softly. Every second felt like an eternity.

When Percy pulled away he said,suddenly feeling shy but slightly more confident, "Gods,i never thought you'd be that good at kissing..."

Nico blushed bright red. "Uh,never thought i'd kiss you so...we're even i guess?" Percy smiled as he saw Nico blush,and said, "You know it's really cute when you do that,don't you?"

Nico paused,and struggled to find words,but none came to mind,so he just moved closer to Percy,and whispered, "Think i'm the only one who looks hot blushing?"

Percy felt his face burn,and muttered, "Well,that worked,I guess."

Nico suddenly laughed a bit. "You guess? Yeesh,your face was as pink as that Will Solace's 'nightlight mode' is annoying!"

Percy smiled softly. When Nico went quiet,it was a long,painful silence. There were so many words hanging over Percy's head that he wanted to say,but...none of them seemed important right now.

He stared into Nico's eyes.

Nico felt himself blush. Being with Percy was long,unescapeable seconds of emotions he'd never be able to explain.

"Uh- um...we should go to bed." Nico stuttered out.

Percy's heart beat more than just a little bit faster when Nico spoke,and it took a second to process what he had said. "Uh...yeah."

He got up,and walked out of the cabin,but when he was just away from the cabin Nico walked up to him,grabbed him by the collar,and kissed him,long and hard.

"I-uh...just...sleep well,Perce." Nico said this as if nothing had happened.

Sleep well? How can i fucking 'sleep well' when you just kissed me and acted like nothing happened! There is no fucking way i'll ever sleep again!

Percy nodded,but on the inside the tall-green-eyed boy was dying to blurt out what he just thought. "Y-yeah. You too."

When Percy had went out of earshot,Nico thudded his head against the cabin. "God,i'm such an idiot!"

He walked into the cabin,and let himself fall into bed. Like,why? I sounded so stupid! And how awkward would it had been if he said no?!

Like really! You don't just go and ask the guy you like: 'hey,can i kiss you?' NO! That is so obvious,and so insane!
