Jack had gone out for the group's morning coffee and had bumped into a very well-dressed Welshman and he couldn't help himself, he had to flirt with the hot guy standing in front of him. After collecting the coffees' he headed back to the Hub, as he went in through the tourist entrance he was stopped in his tracks by the very same Welshman he had so shamelessly been flirting with earlier.
"Oh, hello." He says surprised putting the container onto the small counter. "Hello." The guy says with a professional air about him and Jack can't help but give him another once over. "I'm your new staff member." The guy announces and Jack has to bring his eyes back up. "I'm sorry what?" he asked, not sure if he heard him right. "I work here now." The man states and Jack has to shake his head. "No, I think you're mistaken, we're not taking new staff right now." He says ready to shuffle the well-suited man out of the room, but he just smirks and takes a file out of his bag.
"Nice try, but I'm your new archivist." He states and Jack's eyes go wide in shock, this was definitely a development. He took the offered file and opened it carefully, glancing at the official Torchwood paperwork in front of him, trying to hide the groan.
"You probably wish you hadn't flirted with me now." Mr Ianto Jones stated as Jack read through the information. "I never regret flirting with anyone," Jack says raising his eyes from the paper and raking over Ianto once more. "Especially one that looks like you," he states, his eyes glancing down at the paper for a minute and then he closes the file.
"Well then, come on," he says passing the file back and going around the counter to press the hidden button for the door. He stands to the side as the door opens. "After you Mr. Jones." Jack says with a smirk and Ianto raises a brow, unimpressed. "And have you stare at my arse, no thanks. Move on sir." Ianto replies and the title does something to Jack, and he listens, grabbing the container of coffee and stepping ahead of Ianto through the door.
"Not what you were expecting?" Ianto asks after a few moments together in the corridor. Jack glances back at him, raking his eyes over the young man and smirks. "Well to be fair, you're an improvement on the last guy who had the job." He states and Ianto laughs and Jack knows that no, he was definitely not going to stop flirting with this incredibly good-looking guy and by the looks of it, Mr. Ianto Jones was going to give as good as he got, so this appointment might be the best thing to happen all year.
