Ninjago: Dragons Rising

POV: Nya

They were going to find him. And then everything will be back to normal. She would hear his kind, adorable, sweet laugh, and see his smiling face. They would finally be back together! After all this time...

Nya knew her mind was just trying to trick her into believing everything was going to be OK. She knew it wasn't. She knew that Zane had lost his memories a few times, but he was a robot. Not a human being, like Jay.

Humans didn't just 'remember' after being stuck like that for a few years! She knew Jay might not even love her the way he used to anymore. And that broke her heart.

Her and Sora had just finished making the disguises and met up with everyone else. Lloyd hadn't been doing so great after they found out Jay's… situation. But he was starting to handle it better.

"We're done." Sora said and dropped the suits on the desk next to them.

"Perfect!" Lloyd said. "Now we're just waiting on Zane." So they all sat and waited for Zane to finish his genius plan.

Zane finished his plan about half an hour later, and Kai, Arin and Cole had already dozed off. Nya shook her brother awake and gently woke the other two. They were ready to hear Zane's plan.

"Alright. This is where I've located the Realm Reassignment, which is where Jay should be, if we do this right. When we get there, we will have exactly one hour before he leaves to go to a meeting that I cannot seem to locate. There are 4 entrances. North, South, East, and West. We will be traveling in pairs, so that we don't have any people on their own. Sora, Cole, Nya, and Riyu will enter from the East, and head to the 'Mechs and Weapons' room. You will create a distraction when I notify you to. Kai and Wyldefire, you will enter from the West. You will head to the 'Realm Reassignment', which is where Jay should be. You will either convince him to willingly accompany us back to the monastery, or if he refuses, force him to. Me, Arin, and Lloyd will enter from the North. We will head to the 'Security and Power Supply' room, and be your eyes and ears, guiding you. When Kai and Wyldefire get Jay, they will tell us and that's when Nya, Cole, and Sora will create some kind of distraction. We will then all meet back up at 'Realm Reassignment, and Wyldefir will teleport us back. Then of course we will attempt to jog Jay's memory. And if we succeed, then the team will be fully back to normal, but if not, we will all be very… sad." Zane finished with a sigh of sadness.

"Alright!" Lloyd said. "Sounds like a plan. Let's go!"

"Yea!" Kai said unenthusiastically. "What could possibly go wrong?!"

"What do you MEAN he's NOT THERE?!" Lloyd hissed through his mic.

"I MEAN, Jay Walker, the very person we are risking our necks for right now, is NOT IN THE REALM REASSIGNMENT ROOM!" Kai hissed back.

"But, we got there in time!" Zane said. "Unless…"

"What? What is it?!" Kai asked.

"UGH! NO! It appears our clocks are slow! Lloyd! Did you not repair them like I asked you to?!" Zane accused.

"I… um… forgot?" Lloyd said hesitantly.

"Alright. Nya, I need you to get ready. I'm sending you Jay's location once I find him, and I'll need you to bring him back." Zane said quickly.

"Um… OK." Nya said. She sounded nervous.

POV: Jay

Jay had just left the Realm Reassignment, and was walking to his so-called 'meeting', when about 5 agents that were armed ran past him. His curiosity got the better of him and he tripped one.

"What's going on?" he asked the guy on the floor.

"You can't trip me!" the person hollered from on the floor.

Jay smiled and said, "Actually, I can, seeing that I have a Tripping Permit. Now tell me what's going on."

"A fire is happening near the Mechs and Weapons room. We are going to find whoever is responsible."

Jay nodded and helped him up. The agent ran after the others.

He continued to walk for a while and was about to stop a printer to collect the copies of some papers he needed for this 'meeting' when a person quickly turned the corner and rammed right into him.

"OOF!" The two said as they collided.

Then they both fell to the ground.

"Ow…" Jay mumbled.

The person sat up and immediately said, "I'm SO SORRY!"

That was when Jay realized this person was a girl.

"I was in a hurry, and I didn't see you, and I'm sorry–" She stopped when she looked at him.

She then did the most unexpected thing. She ran into him again, but this time hugged him.

Jay was shocked, so he just said, "I wasn't hurt THAT bad."

She then appeared to be crying. She released him and said, "So, you don't know who I am?" She said with sadness in her voice, and tears streaming down her face.

"Um… no?" Jay said, very confused.

"Oh…"

Jay felt very sorry for her. But he also wanted to hug her and let her know everything would be OK, but right now he didn't have time for that. He had to get going.

"Well… um… I have to, um, go. So… goodbye." He started to walk away, but she grabbed his hand.

"Please. You have to come with me. I know it seems dumb, but I need you to trust me. I need you to come with me and my friends back to our home so that we can talk about something very… important. Please." She said through her teary face.

Every one of Jay's thoughts were saying to him, 'Don't trust her. She's crazy. She doesn't know you. She just wants to manipulate you. Don't. Trust. Her.'

And so he said, "OK."

She smiled and held his hand tightly, saying, "Come with me!"

Jay didn't know what to think. But one thought filled his mind saying, "Never let her go. Hold fast, trust her. She knows you like no one else does. You belong with her."

Jay smiled and chased after the girl. He didn't even know her name, but he knew his future had her in it.

And trusted her.

Hi! So I just wanted to say, I don't feel like the team really realizes what Jay is to them. They treat him like crap, and I think this is their chance to realize that they took him for granted, and realize what a good friend Jay is to each of them, personally. You never know what you have until it's gone, right?
