P.V. normal, at night with Jhosh and the cubs
Jhosh: After a long journey we were finally reaching the Delta herd, was helping puppies up to my back so we could get off the train, "Are they holding strong?" I asked them
"Yes" said the two puppies at the same time
Jhosh: I nodded and jumped off when he slowed down around a corner, "Are you okay?" I asked the cubs once we landed
Cristal: "somewhat dizzy but fine" I said as we got off his back
Tent: "yes, we are complete" I said nodding
Jhosh: "Good, now we're going we're very close to my friend's pack" I told them as I started to walk
The two cubs nodded and began to follow him, after twenty minutes they were already entering the border, when a wolf greeted them
Candu: "Welcome Jhosh" I greeted him
Jhosh: "Hello, uhm Candu, right" I said trying to remember his name
Candu: I nodded and said, "Yes, that's my name."
Jhosh: "How is the situation with the pack?" I asked him seriously
Candu: "Everyone is fine, but the atmosphere has been somewhat tense due to various things that have happened in your absence," I explained.
Jhosh: "I see; I'll ask Kate for a full report" I said nodding
Candu: "She should be in her cave, at this point she hardly comes out of there" I told him
Jhosh: I nodded and said "thank you", after that I continued my way to Kate and Humphrey's cave
Cristal: while we were walking I could see several wolves, "I have never seen so many wolves in one place" I said surprised
Jhosh: "That's a pack, when several wolves come together and work together to survive in a simpler way" I explained
Tent: "I had heard of them, but it is the first time I have seen such a big one" I said surprised
Jhosh: "Yes it is a big pack, and it is relatively new, but everyone here is very nice, and the leader is the strongest wolf I have ever met" I told them
Cristal: "It's incredible" I said surprised
Tent: "Where are we going?" asked
Josh: "I have to report to Kate, she is the leader of this pack, along with my friend" I explained
Cristal: "Why don't we go better with your friend?" I asked curious
Josh: "He is not here now, he went to train, but will be back soon" I explained
Cristal: "oh I see" I said nodding
The three wolves kept walking until they reached Kate and Humphrey's cave
Jhosh: "Hi Kate, I'm Jhosh, are you in there?" I asked from the cave entrance
Kate: "Hi Jhosh, go ahead, come in" I said from inside the cave
Jhosh: I nodded and the three of us walked in, "How are you?" asked
Kate: "Pretty good under the circumstances" I replied, "How did it go?" asked
Jhosh: "I already did what Humphrey asked me" I report
Kate: I nodded and said, "Good, by the way, what about those puppies?" I asked curious to see the two puppies that were behind him
Jhosh: "I rescued them on the way, they had no home, and I wanted to bring them here so they could have a better life" I explained, then I went to the cubs and said, "You must introduce yourselves, she is the leader of the pack, so that they should treat she with respect "
Cristal: "It's a pleasure ma'am, my name is Cristal" I introduced myself with a little shyness
Tent: "My name is Tent" I introduced myself, "Is it true that here we can have a better life?" I asked
Josh: "You must be more respectful" I said seriously
Kate: I chuckled and said, "Of course, here we will take care of you and you can grow up safely"
Tent: "That's good," I said cheerful
Jhosh: "¿Have the others returned yet?" asked
Kate: I shook my head and said "Scoot is the only one here"
Jhosh: "I see; Catalina should not be long in coming" I said
Kate: "I hope so, we think the sigmas will appear soon" I said seriously
Josh: "Why do you say so?" I asked seriously
Kate: I told him what had happened in the last few weeks
Jhosh: "There is no doubt, it will come soon" I said seriously
Kate: "I hope Humphrey and Catalina come back soon" I said
Jhosh: "So am I" I said, "Do you know where Scott is?" asked
Kate: "I told him to watch the eastern border, he must continue there" I replied
Josh: I nodded and said, "I'll leave the puppies at nurseryand go talk to him."
Kate: "okay" I said nodding
Jhosh: "See you later" I said goodbye, then I went to the puppies and said "Say goodbye respectfully, we will go to nursery"
Cristal: "See you later ma'am" I said before going out with Jhosh
Tent: "Goodbye" says goodbye to me before following them
Cristal: As we walked, I asked him "What is a nursery?"
Jhosh: "It is where the cubs of the pack gather and play while being cared for by omegas" I explained.
Tent: "Don't they have their own caves?" I asked surprised
Jhosh: "Well yes, but the parents feel safer to leave them there and to be looking after them instead of being alone in their caves" I explained
Tent: "If they are so concerned about that, why don't they stay with them all day?" asked
Jhosh: "They would if they could, but they have duties in the pack that they must fulfill and they will not be able to do it if they are taking care of their puppies" I explained
Tent: "Duties?" I asked him confused
Jhosh: "For a pack to function, everyone must collaborate, be it hunting groups, guarding the territory, keeping the peace or taking care of the cubs, if everyone collaborates with their tasks they will achieve a safe place to live, where there will be enough food, likewise everyone has time to do whatever they want, whether it be fun or relax, since all the work is distributed" I explained
Tent: I nodded, "No wonder packs survive so well" I said understanding
Jhosh: "That's right, if everyone collaborates, much more can be done than individually" I said nodding
After several minutes they had arrived at the nursery
Jhosh: "This is the nursery, here you can play with other puppies your age" I said smiling
Cristal: I hugged him very tightly and said sadly, "Please, don't leave us alone."
Jhosh: "I was afraid this would happen" I thought, then I went to her and said with affection "I am not going to leave you alone, you will be well cared for by the omegas and I will return as soon as possible"
Cristal: "I don't want to stay alone" I told crying
Jhosh: "You're not going to be, plus I'm just going to go to the border to talk to my friend and teacher and I'll come back for you" I said affectionately as I wiped away his tears
Cristal: I shook my head and said, "I don't want to be alone."
Jhosh: "Look around you, there are several puppies playing and running everywhere, and your brother is here too, you will not be alone" I said as I watched the other puppies play
Cristal: I looked around and he was right, the environment felt very different than when it was just my brother and I, "y-you're r-right" I said while trying to calm down
Jhosh: "I'll be back as soon as possible" I said lovingly after kissing her on the forehead
Tent: I went up to Jhosh and hit him on one of his front legs
Jhosh: "ouch, why was that?" I asked him while shaking my paw
Tent: "I warned you not to make my sister cry" I said seriously
Jhosh: "but it was a misunderstanding" I said
Tent: "I know, I want to trust you so we'll wait here, try not to take too long" I said seriously
Jhosh: I smiled and I said, "I won't be long, take good care of your sister"
Tent: "I always will" I said nodding
Jhosh: I nodded and ran to the eastern border, at my maximum speed it only took a few minutes to get there, "Scoot, where are you?" I called him knowing that he is most likely camouflaged with the environment
Scoot: "It's good to see that you got there well" I said happily as I came down from a tree
Jhosh: "It's also good to see you" I said smiling, "What were you doing up there?" I asked curious
Scoot: "It is easier to monitor a long stretch of territory from a high point" I explained
Jhosh: I nodded and said, "I understand."
Scoot: "How did it go?" asked
Jhosh: "I didn't have any setbacks, everything is ready" I informed him
Scoot: "Good, I was starting to worry, you were taking too long" I said
Jhosh: "yes, I had to take care of an unforeseen event" I said
Scoot: "Unforeseen?" I asked curious
While Jhosh explains what happened to Scott, Cristal and Tent were adjusting to living with other puppies
Tent: "What are they doing?" I asked confused when I saw the other puppies
Cristal: "It seems that they are having fun" I said animated and curious
Tent: "They all seem so relaxed, it's as if they don't care about the dangers that may be around them" I said puzzled
Cristal: "I know, but according to what Jhosh said, there is nothing to worry about, because they will always take care of us, it is also a pleasant feeling" I said smiling
Tent: "I hope so" I said without wanting to lower my guard
At that moment a puppy a little older than them approached them
Dian: "Hi, are you new here?" I asked them nicely
Tent was a bit reluctant to answer, but Cristal was kinder
Cristal: "Hello, yes, we just arrived, who are you?" I asked her nicely
Dian: "Oh I see, my sister and I also recently came to this pack, by the way, my name is Dian" I introduced myself smiling
Cristal: "Nice to meet you, my name is Cristal and my grumpy brother is called Tent" he introduced us smiling
Tent: "I'm not grumpy, and what had I told you about talking to strangers" I said seriously
Cristal: "Don't be exaggerated, it's just another puppy like us" I said calmly
Dian: "Nice to meet you, my name is Dian, my sister and I arrived with my dad several days ago" I introduced myself, "Do you want to play with us?" I asked them animatedly
Cristal: "What are you going to play?" I asked curious
Dian: "Hidden, the more puppies, the more fun" I said animatedly
Cristal: "Sounds fun, come on brother" I said enthusiastically
Tent: "mmmm, I don't know" I said something unsure since I didn't like the idea of losing sight of my sister
Cristal: "please" I said while I made a pleading face
Tent: I sighed since I couldn't say no to her when she got like that, "it's okay" I said with a defeated tone
Cristal: "Yeah" I said happily
Dian: "come on, everyone is around here" I told them while pointing to where everyone was gathering
Several minutes later with Jhosh and Scoot
Scoot: "You had an interesting trip" I said surprised
Jhosh: "Yes it was" I said smiling
Scoot: "I also had an encounter in a similar way" I said
Jhosh: "What happened to you?" I asked curious
Scoot: I told him about Milagro, and how I had brought her here with my puppies
Jhosh: "So you have a new friend" I said sarcastically
Scoot: "Don't start with that, you're too old for that" I said while rolling my eyes
Jhosh: I couldn't help but laugh and I said, "Don't take it the wrong way, I'm really happy for you, it's good that you're starting to meet other wolves"
Scoot: "Don't be so hasty, she's just a friend, it's still too early" I said with a little sadness at the end when I remembered Samantha
Jhosh: I immediately realized that it was a mistake to have raised the subject and I said to him in an apologetic tone, "Sorry, I should not have pressed the subject"
Scoot: I shook my head and said, "don't worry, you're right, it's good that I meet other wolves, but I'm not ready to start a new relationship yet"
Jhosh: I nodded and said, "I understand, and you will know when you feel ready, but do not miss the opportunity when it comes to you"
Scoot: "I'll keep it in mind" I said nodding
Jhosh: "Well, I have to go, I promised the puppies that I would not delay" I said
Scott: "I understand, but could you wait for me, my shift is over and I'm just waiting for my replacement" I asked
Jhosh: "well, as long as it doesn't delay, a lot, they still have a hard time adjusting to life in a pack" I said with some concern
Scoot: "Don't worry, it shouldn't be long" I said calmly
Meanwhile with Catalina
Catalina: I started to wake up, my head hurt a lot and everything was spinning, "What happened?" ask disoriented
"You woke up earlier than expected, without a doubt you are an alpha elite" said a wolf who was sitting in front of her
Catalina: "Who are you?" I asked, still disoriented as I tried to move, but immediately noticed that my legs were tied, "What happened, because I'm tied?" ask confused
"It's the only way to prevent you from escaping" said the sigma quietly
Catalina: "If you want information from me, you waste your time" I growled at him
"We don't want to get information from you, what we want is you" said the sigma coldly
Catalina: I gulped nervously and asked a little scared, "What will they do to me?"
