Humphrey: I have been training very hard for a long time, I have already lost count of how many days I have been here and I did not care because I knew that I had to give everything to finish this hellish training and get back together with Kate, I was in the middle of a practice of fight against the wolf that has been training me and despite having greatly improved my skills, I still wasn't able to beat him, at one point they threw me with great force against a wall, "Damn" I said in pain
"Do you give up yet?" asked the wolf mockingly
Humphrey: "Don't believe it" I told him determinedly as I got up
The wolf smiled and they continued their training section for almost another hour, surprisingly Humphrey managed to graze him a couple of times, but he couldn't hit him, "You've improved a lot" the wolf congratulated him
Humphrey: "But I'm still not able to face you as equals" I said with frustration
"You would need a hundred years of training to achieve it, so your goal here is to improve, not defeat me" said the wolf calmly
Humphrey: "I think you're exaggerating" I said, not being able to believe the figure he told me, since no wolf lives that long
"Believe what you want, but you are close to being ready, to face the terrible evil that hangs over the wolves," said the wolf

Humphrey: "It's impossible, how do you know that?" I asked him without being able to believe that there are such strong beings
"Because years ago they orchestrated the last battle between elite alphas and sigmas, they also finished killing the survivors that were in each pack, only those who hid well and were in other packs were saved" the wolf explained
Humphrey: "Then the almost extinction of the elite alphas was their fault" I said with sadness and anger
"That's right" the wolf agreed

Humphrey: "If this is the case, they will want to destroy my pack, just to finish getting rid of the elite alphas" I said worried

"You haven't finished your training yet, you're not ready to face them or the sigmas" said the wolf seriously
Humphrey: "That doesn't matter, what's the point of getting stronger if they destroy my loved ones while I train" I said seriously
"But if you're not strong enough you won't be able to protect anyone" said the wolf seriously
Humphrey: "It's a risk I have to take" I said seriously
"You are reckless" said the wolf while sighing
Humphrey: "Maybe, but after hearing all that, I can't stay here, my partner and my pack need me" I said seriously
"Remember that you will not be able to leave until you complete the training" The wolf said seriously
Humphrey: "If I have to go over you, I will" I said seriously
"I just defeated you in a training exercise, you still do not have the ability to defeat me, not to mention that it does not depend on me, the doors will only open when you are truly ready" said the wolf seriously
Humphrey: "damn" I growled annoyed
"You can stay there grumbling or you could make an effort to complete the training as soon as possible" said the wolf seriously as he started to walk towards another area

Josh: "In this case I will go alone to look for her" I told them seriously
Kate: "I understand your concern, but it's very difficult for you to find her alone, at least let some of my alphas help you" I said understandingly

Humphrey: "I understand, but I'll make it" I told him motivated

Humphrey: I nodded and started to follow him, until we reached a cave on the other side of the valley, "I hadn't seen this place before" I said surprised
"It's because I didn't want you to know about this place, until you were ready" explained the wolf before entering the cave
Humphrey: I followed him and I was surprised how we were going, but the light didn't dim much due to a strange moss that lit up, after advancing several meters we stopped in front of a big hole, "What are we going to do?" asked
"Your first test is to cross to the other side" explained the wolf calmly
Humphrey: "Wait, what?" I asked surprised
"You must go to the other side" repeated the wolf
Humphrey: "How long is it?" asked
"Between twenty and thirty meters" replied the wolf
Humphrey: "It's too far to jump" I said worried
"You must see beyond what meets the eye" said the wolf as he jumped into the hole
Humphrey: "Wait, don't jump" I yelled at him worried, but I saw that he didn't fall that much, only half a meter, "What happened?" I asked confused
"You must feel all your surroundings, not only depend on your eyes, so you can see beyond the apparent" I told him calmly
Humphrey: "I think I understand" I said nodding, then I closed my eyes and concentrated on my other senses, after several minutes I began to hear how a slight breeze hit the rocks, giving me a vague idea of where there are pillars where I can walk, with enough nerves I jumped and luckily, I was right
"Looks like you're starting to get it" the wolf said with a smile
Humphrey: "That's right, although it's quite complicated" I said
"Your senses have already been tuned, now you must learn to use them correctly" explained the wolf
Humphrey: I nodded and concentrated again, it was complicated, but pointing to my sense of hearing I was able to move forward, after several minutes I had managed to pass to the other side, "That was terrifying" I said to myself as I looked back, each jump he was taking had some uncertainty since I was not totally sure if there was a pillar where I was jumping
"You did well" said the wolf before continuing to walk through the cave
Humphrey: I followed him until we got to what seemed like the end of the cave, "Now what?" asked
"Now you must make your way, in order to continue" explained the wolf
Humphrey: "How am I to break through?" I asked confused
"It is something that you must discover" said the wolf calmly
Humphrey: I kept thinking and analyzing the situation, I didn't see any other way and it wouldn't make sense to go back, then I analyzed the wall and noticed that the material it was made of was different from the rest of the cave, so I decided to hit it with all my might. strength and although my leg hurt a lot, I noticed that it had slightly cracked the wall, "I understand" I said to myself and began to hit the wall with all my strength, ignoring the pain that each blow caused me, after several blows the wall finally gave way, "finally" I said while gasping, I looked at my leg and noticed that it did not stop shaking and that it was bleeding
"You must always have the conviction to move forward and not let any wall block your way" said the wolf before crossing the wall through the hole that Humphrey had made
Humphrey: I started following him, but I couldn't stand on my leg properly because of the pain in my leg, so I was limping a bit
They both continued until they reached a kind of ramp, "Go ahead" said the wolf as he stepped aside
Humphrey: I nodded and slid down that ramp, which I admit was fun, "Now what?" I asked from the bottom
"Now you must escape, I'll wait for you outside, by the way, you better hurry" said the wolf before closing the entrance with a large rock
Humphrey: "Wait" I yelled as I tried to climb the slope, but it was quite difficult to do it, due to the incline and the rocks were quite wet, when I almost reached the top I slipped, but when trying to hold on to a rock I was it gave way and a large jet of water came out of it, "This is not good" I told myself concerned when I saw that the water level was starting to rise
"By the way be careful down there, we are right next to a large water reservoir, one wrong move could flood everything" said the wolf from the other side
Humphrey: "Yes, I already noticed" I said annoyed
"That's good, see you outside" said the wolf before going another way
Humphrey: "Wait, don't leave me here" I said worried, but I didn't get an answer, "now what do I do?" I asked with concern as he looked around me
