Serpents and Embers

It wasn't that hard to find them, really.
Reunion.

It was time to Re-assemble the Re-union.
HAH!

Get it.
It- it's funny because both the words start with re-

Yeah shut the fuck up…

I genuinely spent, like, what?
10x the time trying to get Kal'tsit convinced to let me do this compared to how long it took to find and drag their asses with me into the prison cells.

From the- what would be most appropriate?
Crippled? Destroyed? Nah, let's go with defeated.
Defeated Frostnova staying in the medical wing receiving treatment.
It was easy getting her, since she didn't know me, nor was she in much of a situation to refuse anything.
There was only 1 thing stopping me from getting her moving.

I had to convince her medics that it wouldn't take too long and that she wouldn't over-exert herself.

Let's hope that's the case.
I don't fancy getting turned into minced meat by medical.

Next.
To the dishonored and defeated Skullshatterer, whom I couldn't separate from her sister.
So I had to drag that little kid along too.
Maybe I should have left her to die…

Fuck am I saying man? Saying that about a random kid…
Nah.

They were the hardest to convince nonetheless.

To the Crownslayer who was shown the truth, and convinced by Kal'tsit to join R.I.
Which one can guess meant I had to convince Kal'tsit to do so.
That was very fun.
((It wasn't.

To W.
Do I even need to say anything?
She just willingly followed me without me having to even threaten her.
Now I told Lappland that she was insane.
But if thats the case than this bitch is truly mad.
Also because she probably knows whats happening, she would be the kind to know all about rumors.
Fucking psycho…

Thats how I spent a few hours walking around convincing the people taking care of them, or the fools themselves-
Well. ''Convincing''.
It is easier to convince people to follow your ideas when they are at the metaphorical gun point.

Honestly I am liking my new position of power.

I don't need to order people to do things anymore.
I can literally do them myself due to the freedoms provided and it eliminates so many risk factors. It's crazy.
If ya want something done, do it yourself. Truly.

There were a few mishaps.
Mostly people in charge of things questioning why I was rounding up the Ex-Reunion leaders and some of their affiliates.

Usually I like to keep an air of mystery.
Not this time though.
It would be a conspiracy theory too stupid even for my tastes.

So when people like-
What were their names, uhhh.

Gavial.
Dobermann.

People in charge of things asked what was happening with me and with the line of terrorists following me ((handcuffed momentarily for good measure))-
I told them that I had to talk to the fuckers for personal reasons.

Which would of course run into some problems.
Like people not believing me.
And questioning things even if they were not leaders.

You don't see this kind of entourage everyday afterall.

Especially the Ops who were present at the:
''Meeting of the Century''.

Yes I will keep calling it that.

Who's gonna stop me?

They say that victors write the history books, and I sure as hell ain't losing to these pieces of shit.

Like Ace or Closure.

With the former being particularly concerned.

Can't blame the man.
He almost died at the hands of these idiots.
And he saw and heard what I did firsthand.

But it was easy to convince him.
He has like that, cool uncle feel to him y'know?
He is understanding.
I do not know his character enough to question where his intelligence stands, but damn, he is for sure not stupid.
Or mentally ill I guess?

Most of the people with issues on intelligence levels do so because originium has given them relative brain damage.
Mental deficiency giving rock cancer.
Now, THAT, is a thing I never thought I'd say till a few years ago.

As I approach the "prison" inside the landship the guards make way.

Things go smoothly.

Everyone around is whispering amongst themselves.

Arguing about my motives, or what is happening.

The only one who is actually not gossiping would be the cockroach.

Fucking weirdo.

As we get to our destination a huge metal door opens in front of me.

The security guards tell me:

"From here on you will be alone, but your actions will be monitored, please do not touch the bars of the prison and-"

"Yeah yeah, whatever. I know what I am doing, move. And you all behind me, shut up and don't speak unless I say so."

The guards give me a pissed look but give way nonetheless.

The ex-reunion leaders shoot me some concerned glances.

Fuck do you want man?

The clock for Terra is ticking, and if I don't defuse it we will all go KABOOM, and I don't intend to die in this shitty universe.

We step in, and the door is closed behind us.

I can't hear the guards anymore, but I can still see the ex-terrorists.

As worried as ever.

They try to talk to me, ask questions.

I ignore them, just keep walking.

We push on.

Push on, and on, and on.

Turning back even for a second was never an option from the start.

And we are rewarded with a prison cell at the end of the hallway.

And so we meet, Red Dragon.

The realization comes.

I just locked myself inside a prison with a terrorist and her gang leaders.

Normally one would be scared at such a prospect, terrified even.

But one should also know by this point.

I am not normal, nor will I get scared at the prospect of such LOSERS.

With a click of my tongue;

I walk up to the gates of the cell.

"Wake up dragon, or are you a snake now? Doesn't really matter. All you need to do is answer my question lest everyone in this dies."

The dragon, who was sitting inside the cell, gets up and starts walking towards me.

I changed my mind.

I am not standing in front of the gates of a cell.

I am standing at the gates of hell, and I just provoked the devil.

They say that the fires of hell will make even the most arrogant sinners beg.

Heh.

Game on.

Let's meet the antagonist of Terra.

The Red Dragon, the conqueror of Chernobog;

Talulah.
