In the void of space, countless stars in an empty void, this was in the early years of the universe year 0000.1. On a planet similar to earth called the Demon Realm, there stood a giant unlike any other, it looks like a black fur wolf creature, with a skull with horns over its face, with bat wings and a main similar to a lion, it also has a three digit fingers and toe claws, his race is called the Titans, this was founding father of his entire species.
However before they exited were the Archivists there are four and their youngest member the Collector, they all wore robs and capes with the left have is light blue white with dark crescent moons and the right was dark blue with light blue white stars on them. Their race existed before the universe and their purpose is to "preserve" all life to ensure they would never die out by trapping their essence in scrolls. The Collector's creed 'Collectors long live, we watch things pass. To preserve, to observe, we must amass what flies, what swims, the predator, or prey, seal them up, so that they may never fade. But should they meddle in our affairs, we clean the planet and scorch the air.'
When they saw this world, they send their youngest member named the Collector telling him play hide and seek. When the Collector met the 'Baby Titans' as he called them, they were cute he said, but his older siblings feared their power, for in this universe, since they came to being, the universe needed to balance itself hence the Titans were born. The Collector appears as a yellow-skinned boy with a patch of blue skin on both his left side of his face the latter, which includes freckles, simulating a crescent moon. As well as white hair, and has eyes with yellow scleras and orange irises. He wears pajama-esque clothing, consisting of a dark nightcap with purple rims and starry dots and a baggy white-and-navy onesie with split accents; his right light sleeve is patterned with dark suns, while his left dark sleeve is patterned with blue moon.
After meeting the Titan and his children, he played with them but when the Archivist saw them as a threat, so one by one they made the Titans disappear committing genocide, but since the Titan's powers counters the Archivists' powers. Till the father Titan was left and a few survivors and his last egg, he hid his egg in a secluded and hidden spot, with a protective bodyguard. After he died, his body became a rotting corpse that began to nurture new life, creatures from prehistoric era to an ice age era. Then the turn of the century during the Salem Massachusetts witch trials in a town called Gravesfield. Two brothers named Caleb and Philip Wittebane met a witch named Evelyn that lead them to the Demon Realm.
In this realm, the two human brothers stayed and learned many things while Caleb fell in love with this world, but Philip on the other hand he was so consumed by the ideals of the burning of the witches regardless if they're good or bad, he murdered his brother for falling in love with a witch, then he lied, cheated and swindled numerous of witches and demons tricking them to helping him even two from the future into finding the Collector's cement. And he found a way to extend his own life.
He even created Grimwalkers kind of golem clone of hid brother Caleb and when they got too smart for their own good he got rid of them and replace the previous one.
Then one day he lied saying he can speak to the Titan even though it was a lie but they believed it, then he became their emperor, his teaching took hold he created the coven systems with the branding schedules. This restriction of the use of magic, but those who do not join a coven are wild witches and are wanted as criminals.
Among them is Eda Clawthorne she became the Owl Lady for she was cursed by her sister Lilith for they both wanted to be in the Emperor's coven but Eda was younger but worked twice as hard so Lilith did the unthinkable and regrettable decision. She bought a curse scroll and used it on Eda while she slept, the next day at a witches duel, Eda purposely drops out allowing Lilith to enter, and when the curse kicked in, Eda was treated like an animal. Lilith made the worse decision of her life both joining the Emperor's coven and cursed her sister.
After Eda ran away from home she found a door leading to the Human Realm, she uses it every once in a while. Among her adventures she finds a hidden island and found the last titan she didn't knew was one. She took it in and kept him as a pet, but later turned into a companion. Eda used the portal door to gather human garbage as treasures.
And in doing so let a human named Luz Noceda who followed her Palisman named Owlbert a living wooden animal that was taking the trash to Eda to sell. Luz followed to the Demon Realm, thinking it was either a dream or she died but she was neither.
After meeting King, Luz helped Eda and King retrieve his crown. But Luz began to realize that Eda and King were a couple of weirdos like her, she eventually decided to stay, made friends Willow Park a plant witch, Augustus "Gus" Porter an illusion witch, even a arrogant rich witch named Amity Blight a Abomination witch expert. As they continued their many adventures Luz actually helped Willow explained her past with Amity who were once friends but Willow was a late bloomer.
In another adventure Luz meets Amity's older twin siblings, Emira and Edric who are a couple of troublemakers who used the moonlight during an event that brings images of books to holographic life, and Luz sees Amity's soft side.
But in one adventure at school Amity set Willow's memories on fire, literally and unintentionally burned many of them, so Luz and Amity entered her mind saw the Inner Willow and Amity confesses why she broke up with her, by being forced by her parents who they say 'Blights only associate with the strongest of witchlings' and they even threatened to make sure Willow will never get into Hexside. Amity confesses that Willow was never too weak to be Amity's friend. She was too weak to be Willow's. After that Amity vow to never let Willow be picked on again.
With more adventures Luz trying to help Eda only for her to be turned into the owl-beast and being captured, then Lilith reveals her past and is kicked out by the emperor Belos, Luz fights him and destroyed the portal door, as their adventures continues Eda meets an old boyfriend Raine Whispers, Luz meets the Golden Guard the current Grimwalker and he doesn't know it, his name is Hunter, finding King's origins, Luz meets Eda's mom, then she discovers and uses Philip's book to learn how he created the portal door, then Luz and Lilith go back in time to meet him in person and learns from him, Luz even taught him and they realize he tricked them almost got them killed by a prehistoric monster, while they distracted the creature he finds the Collector's clement Lilith punched Philip in the face.
Luz constructed her own portal door to return, but not entirely in a place in between the realms, and she discovered a shapeshifter basilisk named Vee who took Luz's form while she stayed in her place while she was in the Demon Realm she took Luz's identity till she was revealed by a witch-hunter wannabe and rescued by Camila Noceda who still loved both Luz and now Vee. Luz was forced back before the door collaped.
One time Luz and Hunter entered Belos' mind and there they discover Hunter's a Grimwalker and Belos is really Philip Wittebane and he's a witch-hunter. This shocked everyone.
Leading up to the Day of Unity, Luz, King and Hooty went to a hidden island believing the found King's family only to find they were titan hunting fanatics, then when returning they meet up with Eda and Lilith on the knee trying to figure out a plan but nothing, no plan, no allies, no hope. Meanwhile King goes on a life questioning trip with a Coven member named Steve.
After Raine returns along with Emberwolf leader of the beast coven and Darius leader of the abomination coven. They try to stop the Day of Unity which is a large draining spell.
Luz along with Gus, Willow and Hunter's help go to rescue Amity, who kisses Luz and they disguise themselves as scouts tries to stop her mother Odalia Blight. As for her husband Alador who was overworked and overwhelmed then King who was disguised as a coven scout explains the Day of Unity and after learning the truth he tells his wife who doesn't care which shocked him, this angered him, as for Kikimora a former Imperial coven officer turned errand girl being given a new super suit. After supposing taking Hunter, Amity was angry at her mother thinking this was the last straw, as was Alador and field for a divorce.
After reaching the Titan's skull Belos betrays the Collector and drops him intp a pit, Luz reveals herself and fights Belos, as for her friends who tries to reach her though there was difficulties, then Luz tricked Philip by using a branding glove on him, with this he turns into a monster, Luz fights him till her friends came to help her and want him to stop the spell, but he couldn't do it. But Kikimora leads King to the Collector and he frees him by offering to play 'Owl House'. After he was freed, he destroys Belos and stops the draining spell, then he creates chaos which causes Luz, her friends to escape through the portal door, but she couldn't let King go, but he made the decision and sacrificed himself. And so Luz and the others were in they stayed in the human realm for months till Halloween.
During that time Belos survived and been a parasite slowly consuming animals from the inside out till they died. Gus, Willow, Hunter and Amity along with their Palismen stayed in the human realm with Camila, Luz and Vee. Luz reveals to her mother she's bisexual, which she was happy to hear.
As they found a way to return to the Demon Realm Belos followed and used Hunter as a host and almost killing his Palisman a red cardinal named Flapjack, till finally Hunter stood up to Belos regaining control and when hope seems lost for Hunter, Flapjack made the ultimate sacrifice giving his life-force so Hunter could live. So all minus Vee entered the other portal door to the Demon Realm.
They saw the Collector and King together playing the Owl House, and saw some people turned into literal puppets. But Collector was sad, trying to get King to play more, as for Odalia she became his surrogate mother so she can gain a position of power.
After the insentient in Hexside where the student who were under the popular kid/team captain Bosha who was under Kikimora's influence, but when Luz was given advice from her mother who made her mistakes and revealed she was a secret nerd in youth and tried to help Luz but when she realized she shouldn't have to change just to be accepted by others she just needed to be accepted for who she is and in doing so, her Palisman egg hatches revealing to be a snake-shifter named Stringbean.
As for Belos he gains Raine's body controlled and manipulated Collector like he did before had Luz, Eda and King experience different nightmares using their friend, family and foes in their nightmares till Luz realizes Amity wasn't acting herself. So by using a light glyph she frees herself and her witch teacher and Titan friend.
The Collector wants to play new games with them, and wonders why he prefers mortals. But when they explain he's hurting people, to which he replied toys break all the time, this confused Luz for he didn't know what death means to mortals.
After 'playing' the Collector's games when he looses multiple time, which he explains his past with the Archivist and the baby Titans, and he was trapped by the Father Titan imprisoning him in between the realms, believing he was the villain. In doing so this made the Collector been so much being lonely, resentful and a bit jealous, but and when he admits it's just pretend and he'll do it forever, but Luz states that isn't what he wants, so Eda, Luz and King helped him understand the meaning of friendship, and understanding.
Meanwhile Belos took control of the Titan's heart and became a giant fungus corpse consuming the island and all on it, Raine tried to stop him but he was too late. In the area where the heart and castle stood, Belos created dragon made out of fungus for him to finish what he began. The Collector tried to forgive Belos but he was too far gone and blasted at him, but Luz took the hit, and was consumed by the fungus killing her, The Collector he didn't know what happened to her, but King and Eda knew she was gone. He still was new to death and didn't understand it.
In the between realms even between life and death, there Luz meets Papa Titan, who tells Luz her he's been watching his child King and his friends, she has isn't anything like Belos who says he's trying to save humanity but it was another lie, he was in it for him to be the hero in his own delusion and fears what he cannot control, but Luz was given the titan's power, but this was her choice to make, after which he sinks into the full afterlife. And when she did return she was more powerful.
As for Eda and King consumed by grief tried to fight the fungus dragon but the Collector pleads with them to leave and apologizes for everything he participated in and everything else. He even cried and shed tears for the first time.
When Luz returned she and Eda and King fought against Belos' fungus while the Collector protected everyone in the archives from being hurt or killed.
After Luz literally pulled Belos off the titan's heart while Raine, Eda and King fought the fungus off. After being ripped off the fungus dries and dissolves into ash and fades away, Belos reverted to his Philip form when she and Lilith first met, he tries to come up with an excuse that he became influenced by dark magic but Luz doesn't even waste any breath speaking to him, as boiling rains pours on them while Luz is unharmed, Philip begins to dissolve reverting to his monstrous form but looses his legs and proclaims if she doesn't help him she'll but just as bad, just as conniving and evil as the witches he brands all witch kind. When he tells Luz they're human and better than this she doesn't even give him the benefit of a doubt any more, he's too far gone and so Eda, King and Raine all stepped on him ending Philip once and for all, and Luz relinquished her powers.
After freeing all the people who were turned into puppets from the archives were reverted back to normal, among the Coven heads who were too keen to change things since there's now a power vacuum and thought the thrown was for the taking but Darius and Emberwolf weren't interested in having a new tyrant in charge. Many people were reunited with their families and those who thought they didn't have anyone waiting for them were surprised, Darius began to treat Hunter like the son he never had.
With Luz and her mama along with her surrogate witch family and girlfriend reunite at the Owl House, Collector decided to return to the stars for he had a lot of growing up to do, and he and Luz made a pinky promise to do better. And King whispers to Collector 'I hope to see you again'. This was a happy ending but Luz realized when the titan finally passed the power of the glyphs were lost too. But Luz was still determined to be a good witch, 3 years passed and in that time Luz attended school but now was off to college for the new school in the Boiling Isles, and her friends all grew up both physically and mentally Hunter became a Palisman carpenter, Willow a flyer-derby champion, Amity an explorer with Abomination themed inventions that are not war machines or weapons, Lilith the new principal of Hexside, Eda became the principal at an academy for wild witches, where Gus became a teacher to students about the human realm.
When Luz, Camila and Vee who is now a full member of the Noceda family, they brought Luz to the Demons Realm for a surprise party since she spend her 15th, 16th, and 17th birthdays helping rebuild the Boiling Isles, they decided throw her a Quinceañera in her honor in their weird Boiling Isles way. King began to make glyphs himself they're not as powerful as his father's but he's still young. Even the Collector was in the era and gave a fire work for Luz.
In space the Collector says to the readers: "Alright, let's do this one last time, I am the Collector, and for the last 14 billion years I've been the fourth and only child of the stars. And as you read both my and others life stories I was a bit of a naïve, tricked but powerful cosmic being who made friends and was trapped between dimensions. Then met Philip knowing helped him and his plan, then I met Luz, King and Eda who taught me differently and how I can be something else, that I can make friends without fear or force. After the defeat of Belos, I traveled across the galaxy meeting new races, civilizations and creatures both great and small. Being a child of the stars was great, and I would trade it. Would you?" The Collector was a bit older mentally, physically he was still having the body of a ten year old, but now he wears more modern clothes similar to jean pants, a hoody having his original blue colors with blue stars and white crescent moons on it. He even grew his hair out having a long breaded ponytail.
