"Jerusalem was conquered by Saladin and his army, fair and square. It was a war not worth fighting, and one you couldn't win, that's the end of it" Spectre droned tiredly to his latest time meddlers, in this case being fanatics of the medieval crusader knights, five in total who for a while now raved at him at how right their cause was
"Besides, if you want a living god to pray to, I'd try Seikatsu if I were you. Unlike the ones you preach to, She's not shrouded in myth and legend" Sheer chimed herself, standing next to the chair that her leader sat in.
These words however did not sit well with their captives "Blasphemy!"
"Blasphemy!"
"Pagans!"
"Heretics!"
Spectre gave an annoyed sigh at their continuous shouts and accusations, taking a small amount of pleasure at seeing them trying to barge through the Jel-jarks that had formed a wall between the two sides. The space pirate leader raised a hand and allowed purple static to dance between his finger tips causing silence among the room once more "Are we done?" He asked
"Not for devilish freaks like you!" One of the fanatics roared at him, making Spectre groan again as a migraine began to make itself known
"An army of Jesus Christ that bares his holy cross, cannot be defeated, not in a straight up battle" the leader proclaimed resolutely "Pagans like you could never understand the righteousness of our Christianity, whoever this 'Seikatsu' may be. Saladin must die before he is a threat, so that the holy lands may be safe, including the birth place of our lord!" He pause before he made his final words in this argument "He is to be put to death at birth. God wills it!"
"GOD WILLS IT!"
"GOD WILLS IT!"
The space pirate leader gave another exhausted heave, before gesturing the Jel-jarks to take the raving fanatics away to their holding cells, heaving a huge sigh of relief as the noise finally died away "Sheer?"
"Yes boss?" She turned to her Spectre expectantly
"Do you by any chance know how to make a green tea?" He asked pleadingly
Sheer gave a humoured smile "I'm on it" She said, before leaving through a port in the ceiling
Now alone the space pirate leader allowed himself to properly collapse in his chair with another sigh. If there was one thing he did not enjoy about the duty that Seikatsu had tasked him and his team with, it was time fanatics like them. I mean don't get him wrong, he was proud of this task and took it very seriously, but he could do with less people who try to mess with the timeline of Earth. No matter how hypocritical, or even how pure their causes are.
His eyes slipped closed as his mind went to sleep.
When he opened them again, he ended up in a place that took him by complete surprise. Instead of his ship, he was now in the middle of a battlefield. On one side, was practically every dinosaur alive, both D-team and alpha gang, several warriors and soldiers of Arendelle, Corona, Northern Highfell and Northuldra origin, and even armoured vehicles and aircraft of modern nations all in one massive alliance. On the other side, were all kinds of monstrous dinosaur sized creatures you would see in nightmares, along with dozens upon dozens of criminals, mercenaries and killers.
But right in the middle of the two sides, was something that both amazed him, and caught him completely off guard. It was that mysterious horned woman the D-team had told him about, in a face off against the Queen of Arendelle, and Pyro of all dinosaurs was fighting alongside her! Both embodiments of ice and fire sending blast after blast of their elements against their advisory, who counted with vile green wisps of dark magic from her staff. With a laugh she gave one sweeping wave with her weapon, a pool of her hellish green flames forming right her targets feet. Spectre watched with shock as the pair fell to their deaths with a pained scream/roar, and watched on as the horned woman raised her staff again with both hands, and slammed the bottom onto the ground.
His vison zoomed out, and he watched with utter horror as the entire earth cracked from pole to pole with hellish green flames, before exploding in a flash
Spectre gasped as he came to once more, his wide and filled in fear. This wasn't the first time he had a vision like this, as Seikatsu uses as such to give warnings of events to come.
But this one in particular, seemed to be her darkest warning yet.
(Intro Theme)
The Silverstone race track, home of the British grand prix since after the end of world war 2, and the playground of the fastest four wheeled machines ever made by man. Many a race driver and many dozens more a crowd member were gathered here today, for once more a race was to be held on the pristine tarmac. Crowds were filling the seats in the stands, and the Formula one racers were having their drivers seated in, fuelled up and ready to race.
Outside the track by a tree, a dinosaur card capsule balanced precariously on a branch, only to fall to the ground by as a squirrel ran by it. It cracked open as it landed, two wind type cards immediately blowing away by a small breeze, before activating.
Out of the whitish blue glow, came a small carnosaur that matched utah in terms of size, who was a pretty shade of purple that covered most of her body with a grey strip that ran from the sides of her face to the end of her tail. This was a Szechuanosaurus. The carnivore gave a roar as it appeared out of the card, and immediately noticed the large concentration of people on the other side of the fence of the track. Curiosity filling her mind she moved to investigate, just as a speaker sounded off, and loud screeching sounds filled the air.
On the other side of the fence, were a plethora of machines she did not recognise, said machines in question being the Formula one race cars, twenty four of them in total, all dashing at high speed trying to outpace the competition, many humans in the stands all cheering wildly for their chosen racers. If this was a more malicious dinosaur, all she would see would be a potential feast, while others would probably move on to find a more peaceful area away from the loud cars.
But in this child's eager mind, her tail waggling in excitement, all she saw were new playmates. Someone to prove why her kind were some of the fastest dinosaurs around, and this time, her Shi headed father would berate her no more.

While the new comer to the world was getting herself acquainted, the mood on Zeta point was not so carefree. Out in the jungle Brontikens was in his large form, feasting on the tree tops, his mind a plague of thoughts. A month or two had passed since the battle of the enchanted forest, of which he barely participated in, not that he really complained. What got him the most, was that the most unexpected and shocking revelation had come to him. That dinheirosaurus, who Hans partnered with, and called herself Dynerra. It could not be anyone else. Against all odds, his best friend was actively alive in the new world. Had he been the same weakling he was when he was young, he'd be over the moon, Seikatsu damn him he would probably be crying in joy. However, the loss of his mother had hardened his heart, so while her reappearance surprised him, that was all he felt. Any other emotion would've been seen as a weakness, and weakness kills.
Having eaten enough to regain his stamina after another training session, he left his feasting spot and moved down to the stream for a drink. As said stream came in sight, he did not expect the object of his thoughts to be quenching her thirst right now, who turned her head as she heard his approach. He stopped as they stared each other down, with indifference rather then what some people or dinosaurs would expect, the dinheirosaurus even giving a warning flick of her tail "Brontikens" She addressed curtly
"Hello to you too, Dynerra" He replied in the same tone, moving around her and giving a wide birth, before lowering his head to drink. Before his lips could touch the water, a loud roar caught both of their attention
In the clearing ahead of them, Gigas, Armatus and Maximus were in a spar against Fang, Screamer, Slasher, Bailey and Thud, the former trio looking worse for wear, for the third time this week. Normally the marshinkai a while back meant Pyro had ordered for the beatings to stop, but ever since the packs defeat by the Dragons that were allied with Arendelle, the clones had been more vicious than ever, and the alpha acrocanthosaurus wouldn't stop them this time "Why can't you just piss off and leave to our thing?" Gigas wheezed out
"Winging won't help, punk" Screamer taunted, before slamming his tail across Armatus's face, making a puffed out stegosaurus fall to the ground for the umpteenth time
"Haha, come on! Give us a challenge, show us why all that training ain't for nothing" Bailey laughed mockingly, before locking her jaws onto one of Maximus's horns
"Not really about that though isn't it" The triceratops strained "It's always been about what happened during the summer, that little ego check you got from those dragons" She mocked back. Bailey gave a savage growl before throwing maximus into the jaws of Fang, the carcharadontosaurus slamming her into the ground painfully, before using his tail to send her flying into Gigas, the pair now joining Armatus on the ground.
"You know, saying that only makes this worse for you. Why must you make it more painful then it actually is" Fang sneered, before giving a roar as they all charged again, the trio bracing themselves for another pummelling
But before they could reach them, an albino form gave a ferocious slash of raptor-like claws across his face, and ploughed through the five of them, stopping their charge dead as they rolled a few metres away, getting back up t give their attacker the stink eye "Knock it off" Ravage snarled warningly, stepping in front of the downed trio as he flexed his claws, Fangs blood dripping from his middle right finger "Pyro may not be here to give orders about harming team mates, but you know better than to cross me"
The pack gave a glare at the white hybrid as they stood back up again. Ever since that battle, Maleficent had made a decision that all dinosaurs on their side would now live on Zeta point, rather than Sykes ranch in Colorado, as the island was much more difficult to pinpoint, and ever since then, they've made themselves right at home. All the while making sure to let everyone, including Brontikens and Pyro learn the new pecking order. "What? We're just horsing around. It's not our fault those weaklings bring hurt onto themselves" Slasher commented to Crimson.
After saying this, he, Bailey and Thud moved to march around the hybrid, only to be stopped as he stomped a foot in their path, looking at them with warning "Take one more step, you're not going to like how this ends" He promised with dark intent
"Oh yeah?" Thud smugly replied "There's five of us, and only one of you, so there!"
"He knows there's five of us, dumbass" Bailey told him with a roll of her eyes at his lazy movie line. But then mentally smirked to herself "Though he does bring up a good point. Do you really think you could take the five of us all by yourself?" She said to Ravage with a cocky look in her face, soon mirrored by her team mates.
The albino hybrid, in response to her words, lowered himself onto his forearms, his claws making small grooves in the ground as he stared down the clone baryonyx face to face, a low stuttering growl coming from his maw "Look into my eyes... you, tell, me..." He challenged, glancing at the fives clones all around him, daring any of them to test their luck. And fail fatally.
As for the pack, they all felt their bravado drop, and fearful caution entered their minds. They all learned the hard way why Ravage and Ripper in particular were not be trifled with, with only their alpha being able to match him in strength "This won't last forever, freak" Bailey hissed at Ravage in a final show of defiance "Lets go boys. This fuckup of a lab experiment isn't worth it" She said to her team mates, before they all turned to leave.
Ravage let smugness cross over his face as he laid down on the ground and said one final piece before they left ear shot "I may not be like you. But at least I can be content to say that I'm an original, rather then a cheap knock off of a genuine masterpiece, such as yourselves"
All five of the clones paused in their steps, facing the albino dinosaur with fury and a want to rip him apart, before turning again to leave in a brisk march. "You know, we're not sure we get you" Gigas suddenly said, catching the hybrid's attention as he turned to the trio back on their feet "How is it that we end up on your good side, yet you treat the clones like shit when their technically stronger than us?" He asked him
Ravage raised back to his feet again "Call it 'pity assistance', rather than out of whatever kindness there is in my heart" He told him, before heading off into the jungle
Having watched the whole scene from their drinking spot, Brontikens and Dynerra turned to each other, cautious thoughts in their heads
Meanwhile inside Zeta point, the dinosaur detector started going off "Ah ha!" Dr. Z exclaimed joyfully looking at the map on the monitor "Another one of my dinosaurs has appeared! Ursula, Zander, Ed, where are you three!?"
"Coming Doctor!" The three announced simultaneously as they ran into the room "And I'm crossing my fingers for somewhere nice, maybe back to Paris France, or Beijing for a change" Ursula commented
"Well I hate to spoil your hopes, but I think we're headed to England" Zander said as the map zoomed in
"Looks like the signal is coming from the Silverstone race track, to be more specific" Ed added in
"You mean those unbearable, noisy formula one racers?" Ursula droned "Out of anywhere else why did it have to be there?" She moaned as her shoulders slumped
"I'll have you know, that is where the British grand prix is held! Some of the most world famous racing legends come from there" Dr Z snipped at her "Imagine what legends we could make with a track such as that, only instead of race cars we'd use dinosaurs?" He suggested, his head suddenly filled with an image of a race track with several dinosaurs bearing numbers and riders as a crowd cheered wildly
"Race legends made from dinosaurs, Dr?" The greenette asked
"I never took you one to like these kind of things" Zander told him in surprise
"Yes, well I do like race cars, you've just never seen it because I'm always into dinosaurs first okay?" The old man replied, crossing his arms over and looked away.
Just then, loud booming footsteps were heard, making them all turn to see Bulldust enter the room "So, one of Ancients cards has appeared, excellent" He said "Handy as well, since my mistress has just sent a message. She has requested that I go along with you three for this mission, claims it to be a test of a sort"
"A test?" The trio asked
"Hmm" The Dr pondered with a hand to his chin, thinking for a moment "You say that our new ally wants to test you?"
"That is correct, yeess, she wishes to see if myself, Ravage, Ripper and Scowler are as adept to your usual capture missions, as we are to battling the D-team" He explained before looking to the monitor "And judging from the location in question, I assume this will be of no issue"
"But aren't you Gothals dinosaur?" Ursula asked the hybrid sauropod "She doesn't come off as someone who likes to share"
"Hm hm hm, I assure you that will be of no issue in this instance, nooo" He reassured her with a slight chuckle
Dr Z for the whole while just continued to think on his proposal "Hmm, well you and that Scowler are definitely some of the most powerful dinosaurs we've ever seen, with how you can use two elements at once. And then there's the fact that just two of you could take on and even defeat most of the Brats most powerful dinosaurs all by yourself, nevermind those carnivorous ones giving the brats a run for their money too..." He thought out loud, never forgetting that former key detail about the hybrids "Okay fine, you have a deal"
"Excellent, yeess"

Meanwhile at the D-lab, the whole D-team, with all three kids now being fellow dinosaur kings, were having an online call with some special friends "I cannot believe one woman was able to turn the majority of the city against the dinosaurs, especially after all they had done to protect them" Elsa said with shock colouring her voice from the computer screen
"I know, this just goes to show that not everyone will like our dinosaurs, and the lengths they're willing to go to see them gone" Rex said into the screen
"If you ask me, that bitch should've been burnt at the stake, or dead in a hangmen's noose" Elliot said in dark opinion.
"Well, looking at what's happening to Elizabeth now, I don't think that necessary" Max replied to the King of Arendelles feelings on the matter "Besides, look at what we got out of it in the end. the whole city now utterly worships our dinos, the dinoseum is just days away from completion, and now all three of us are dinosaur kings" He added
"King for you boys maybe, but Zoe and that particular title doesn't quite match up, no offence" Elliot joked to Zoe
"None taken, I understand" She said in friendly reply "How are things on your end Elsa?"
The Ninth spirit gave a smile "Anna and Kristoff are still planing out their wedding, but their taking a break with Pabbie and his people for the night. As for my mother and father, the whole kingdom are still cleaning up from the celebration of their return." She then looked down at her midsection "And this little one is just fine"
"I still can't believe your only two months away now" Max commented with a smile
"Oh believe it Mr Taylor" Elliot replied to the brunet, looking down at his wife's stomach and laying a loving hand on it "When it comes to magic, anything is possible. You can be sure of that"
"Is it appropriate to ask about your cravings if you have any?" Rex asked politely to his fellow regent monarch
That was when she made a slight blush "Weeeelll..." She hesitated as her husband looked to her in humour
"If I told you she's grown a craving for eating lumps of coal, would you believe me?" Elliot suddenly said
"WHAT!?/LUMPS OF COAL!?" The three kids exclaimed in shock
"Darn it Elliot, why!?" Elsa snipped, as she covered her face in embarrassment whilst the dragon in human skin gave a laugh
"Did someone say my name?" Coals voice was heard "I heard a shout"
"No Coal, not you, just-ugh don't worry about" Max warded off the Carcharodontosaurus
"Oookaay then..." She replied with an odd tone as she left
Just then and there, their dino bracers sounded off, bringing about an end to their conversation "Hey, uh Elsa, Elliot, I'm sorry but we're gonna have to end it there, another dinosaur just showed up" Max went on
"That's okay, we have a council meeting to attend to soon anyway" Elsa replied easily with a small smile
"Yay..." Elliot droned with an eyeroll
"See you soon you guys, all the best" Rex said as Zoe gave a wave of farewell
"And to you, good luck" Elsa replied before the call cut off and the computer shut down
The dinosaur kings then pressed a button on their bracers and called back their main dinosaurs, immediately swiping them and summoning them into their small forms "We heard the call, where we goin'?" Chomp asked
"Reese?" Zoe asked her sister
"I'm getting a fix on it now" The older drake replied to her, before she brought up the location on the monitor "It's coming from the Silverstone race track, right in the heart of England"
"Hey, isn't that where they hold the grand prix?" Paris asked her fellow dinosaurs
"Oh yeah, that's the playground of some of the fastest machines ever made by man" Ace recalled from his research
"Do you think we might see some of the champion racers, like Lewis Hamilton or Lando Norris?" Max asked in slight excitement
"Yeah, that would be awesome!" Zoe replied to her boyfriend in equal energy, before the pair (hand in hand) and their dinosaurs ran over to the teleporter.
"Hang on you two, we're going there for a dinosaur, not to see some race or meet the racers" Rex called over as he and his partners ran over to join them
"Plus, what if the dinosaur is causing havoc on the track? Don't you think that would be more important than meeting chumps like them?" Tank suggested
"Good point, I guess, let's get going" Max said
"See ya later Reese" Zoe perked up before all three kids pressed the button on their bracers and then vanished in the familiar light

It did not take long for the team to arrive at the track, popping up at the fence outside the circuit "So this is Silverstone" Chomp observed as Zoe walked over to watch over the fence
"Yeah, and judging from the people in the stands it doesn't look like they know a dinosaur is on the loose" She commented
"Yeah, but the track is so big it's kinda hard to know where to look first" Max said
"Yeah, that's true" Zoe replied
"I reckon it's best to quickly and quietly search for it, and get it back in it's card as quick as we can so we don't cause a panic" Rex suggested to his fellow dinosaur monarchs, who nodded in agreement, along with their dinosaurs.
Or at least, most of them "HAS ANYONE SEEN A DINOSAUR OVER THERE!?" A certain idiot screamed from on top of the fence
"SPINY!" Everyone shouted up at him
"WHAT!? OH SORRY-! Uh-sorry" He replied as he realized his blunder
"Get down from there you dumbass! You wanna cause a stampede?" Tank raved at her boyfriend
"We're meant to be doing this covertly today!" Terry backed up
"Why though, we were never shy about people before" Spiny asked them before he jumped down to them
"Did you not hear Rex say we didn't wanna cause a panic about a new dinosaur on the loose?" Tank asked him rhetorically before she whacked her mate on the head
While that was going though, Paris looked through the wiring layer of the barriers, towards the stands on the other side "Well, it doesn't look like anyone heard him, so I think we're still good" She said
"Okay I say we split up, sweep the track section by section" Ace planned out
"Good plan Ace, anyone finds the dinosaur, we call up the rest of the team" The rest all nodded in agreement with the Regent Dinosaur King, before all three kids with their respective partners went their separate ways.
Not too far away, in the air above the track was a pterosaur themed alpha jet, cruising just under the clouds, with the alpha gangs logo on the underbelly "You know I just have to say, this plane is Dr Z's best invention yet" Zander said, as inside the plane the trio were actually enjoying a nice meal within the jet, all three sitting at a beautifully decorated dining table, complete with fancy dishes of exotic delicacies with a range of drinks to choose from, rather than flying the aircraft themselves. The lanky man in particular was indulging himself on a plater of langoustines and mussels, while Ursula was busying herself with Greek chicken topped with feta cheese and lemon.
"Nothing for us to do but relax, enjoy this fancy dinner and the let the plane fly itself" Ed said as he took a quick break from his tomahawk steak, and quickly downed a glass of ice water
"I know, and this food is so amazing it's completely turned my mood around." Ursula smiled, taking a bite of her chicken, and moaning in pleasure as the food touched her taste buds before swallowing "And when we catch this next dinosaur, we can travel home in style, so all in all-" That was when she raised her champagne glass in a toast "A great day out for the Alpha gang!"
"Hip hip horey!" The two men cheered as they clicked glasses and took a sip
That, however, was when the monitor on the wall lit up with Dr Z's face "Okay now you three, this is the moment where you are to disembark from this luxury aircraft I treated you with" He smiled
All three of them tensed at this "Uh, aren't we supposed to be on the ground to do that?" Ed asked carefully
"Not in this case" The old man quickly replied with a hint of cheek in his tone, before the floor where the dinner table sat suddenly shifted to one side and opening a hole underneath, much to the trios shock, who then found themselves screaming when a bunch of alpha droids suddenly lifted them up, and threw them in. The fall wasn't far, and the three found themselves packed up in a much smaller cabin space, squished together even
"W-what's going on Doctor?" Ursula asked shakily
"Since your jet would be far too noticeable for you to land, I've attached a small rocket to the underside that is designed to burrow into the ground. Once you crash, climb out of the hole it makes and get looking, got it?" He replied
"CRASH!? NOT AGAIN!" The trio yelped in fright, before the tiny, thin missile detached from the plane and immediately thrusted downwards at hyper speed, the alpha gang screaming the entire time as they disappeared in the nearby woods.

As the Alpha Gang sorted themselves out, the D-team each made their rounds of the track. Max and his team at this time were scouting out the areas near the pits, all the while trying to be as unnoticeable as possible as people made their way to the stands once again "Man, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack, you'd think the dinosaur would've at least come out and cause a few people to scream by now"
"Yeah well, this isn't the lost world, so we gotta find it the old fashioned way" Chomp chimed
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't have helped" Terry added in, before giving his third sniff at the air "All I can smell right now are the food stands" He went on annoyingly
"I know" Max bemoaned before taking a seat at a nearby bench, his stomach giving a light grumble "Man, I wish we packed a lunch with us, or thought to bring some money to buy something"
"Uh, buddy, you know as dinosaur king you can just go up to any of the stands and get all the food you want, right?" Chomp reminded him, taking slight pity on the brunets hunger
"Yeah, but that wouldn't be right, don't you remember that talk with Elsa we had the other day?
(Flashback)
It was a couple of weeks earlier, before Elizabeths plot to drive out the dinosaurs from Sanjo City "As a king you know about the responsibility you have of ensuring the wellfare of your subjects. Remember, just because you have a crown on your head, doesn't entitle you to take what you want, whenever you want it." Elsa first advised Rex, having asked for such in helping the boy become the kind of king he wants to be. She then looked to Max and Zoe "These words apply to you two as well. Never forget this"
(Flashback ends)
"I think that talk was just in case any of us thought about taking something without paying for it" Terry pitched
"So we just gotta find the dinosaur, wherever it is and get home so I can fill my stomach. I just wish it would just give us a sign" He told them both, none of them noticing the Szechuanosaurus nimbly passing by a few feet away, food being the last thing on her mind and waiting to make her move
Just then, the sound of high pitch revving could be heard on the air, bringing the three out of their conversation "Hey, you hear that?" Terry asked the pair
"Yeah, sounds like all the race cars are getting ready for something big" Max replied, before a grin crossed his face "Hey, if we're lucky we might be able to see the dinosaur from the stands, and the start of the race" He told his dinosaurs
"Let's go then" Chomp said with enthusiasm, before all three made a move on.
The three made it over to the stands, with Max sending a quick message to his teammates. Once finding their space excitement coursed through them at the thirty or so formula one racers approaching their positions at the start line, seeing teams such as Red Bull, Ferrari and more. Luckily for them everyone was so pumped up at the sight as well no one even noticed the second dinosaur king in their presence, nor did they notice the other monarchs coming over to him, their dinosaurs included "Any luck?" Rex asked
"We searched along the main straight from the start line, didn't even see a foot print" Zoe spoke for her team
"Same on our part of the track. What about you Max?" Rex asked his fellow king
"Well, Chomp, Terry and I looked all over the public areas, which didn't work so we came over here to see if we'd have any better luck" Max explained
"Babe, be honest with us okay, was it to try and find the dinosaur this way, or just so you could see the start of the race?" Zoe asked her lover with mock suspicion, a knowing smirk on her face
The brunet had the decency to look a bit sheepish with a hand behind his head "Well... if I said both, would you guys be mad?" He asked his friends
That was when Rex took on a face between a deadpan and a knowing look of his own "Mad, not really. Exasperated, definitely" He told him.
Their dinosaurs all had a quiet laugh between them, before they all had their attention pulled at the sound of the start lights. Once the green lights lit, all the F1 cars dashed off for their race like bats out of hell. The man over the PA announced the start as the crowd cheered in excitement.
"Wow, they're fast!" Terry exclaimed "Look at them zooming around the corners. Hehe, they're almost as fast as you" He teased Ace
"I seriously doubt that" He lightly scoffed in reply "You know some of my move cards such as Mayfly, Ultimate wind, Air raid storm and the like let me move as fast as the wind, don't you?" He asked rhetorically
"Doesn't mean that this isn't fun to watch" Chomp said
"Yeah" Paris added in
"Hold everything!" The PA suddenly shouted alarmingly, catching everyone's attention as the kids and their dinos looked at the screen, where they saw something unexpected running behind all of the racers, and keeping up without a problem "A dinosaur is on the track!"
"Gah, I was afraid of this!" Tank exclaimed frustratingly as people started to scream
"A Szechuanosaurus!" Zoe identified with surprise
"You see how fast she's going!?" Spiny saw with shock
"This may be a problem, Guru told me that those particular dinosaurs were rumoured to be the fastest of all dinosaurs on land, even raptors had difficulty keeping up with them" Rex said to them all
"She's gonna end up making accidents and crashes all over the track if we don't stop her!" Max worriedly pitched
"Then we gotta stop the race before someone gets hurt!" Zoe quickly suggested
"Good thinking Zoe, I'll handle that while you and Rex sort things out here!" Max spoke in reply "Come on team!" He then said to his partners as he then ran from the stands
"Right behind you!" His partners replied as they chased after him

Out on the track the Szechuanosaurus was having a blast. Probably the most enjoyment she had in her whole life, being able to run free like this. The strange mettle beasts she had for playmates were rather noisy, but by Seikatsu they could move fast, actually giving her a proper workout.
Of course however, she was totally oblivious and naïve to the terror she was giving the race drivers. In one particular Red Bull car, the driver was fighting for his life, wrestling his car left and right trying to dodge the many cars that were now spinning out, due to the drivers shock of the dinosaur right beside them. He drove with pure instinct and adrenaline to keep his ride on the tarmac, but come the next corner on the other end of the track from the start line, his F1 gave out, spinning uncontrollably and ending up on the gravel, watching is panicked hyperventilation as the dinosaur continued on "What the hell was that...?" He muttered to himself
The dinosaur continued to run, still ignorant to what was happening around her. She continued to run until she actually did notice something. Her playmates were now slowing down to a stop, causing her to stop running as well. Were they tired? Did they not want to play with her anymore? And what are those strange two legged creatures climbing out of them.
Suddenly an announcing roar filled the air, making her turn to see a Parasaurolophus, a Saichania and a Spinosaurus coming towards her, alongside two more of those weird critters, and a fourth dinosaur that made her excitement come back full force. "Hey!" She squealed with the voice of an excited child "You're a Carnotaurus, aren't you!" She said gleefully
Easy to say that this was not the reaction any of them were expecting "Yes... is, is that important?" Ace asked bewildered
"I always heard that your kind was the fastest of the fast but that can't be right, only my kind has that title and I've been dreaming of beating one of you in race!" She babbled without pause.
"Is there an off button on you?" Tank asked, a slight headache from her rambling
"I wasn't talking to you, slow poke" The szechuanosaurus snipped back suddenly
"Excuse me?" Tank replied with narrowed eyes at her sudden shift in tone
"Whoa, Tank hang on a minute" Zoe than spoke up "How come your talking and we can understand you?" She asked shockingly
"What do you mean?"
"I think it's to due with our bracers Zoe" Rex said to her, holding his up to her "Spectre told me that he remotely installed an update on them, so now the stones inside them now allows them to act as a translator for us"
"You mean like when we met Spiny and Tank in Egypt and London for the first time?" She asked in surprise to which the regent king nodded
"Anyway" Ace spoke up, turning back to the youngest dinosaur here "Why does it matter what kind of dinosaur I am, exactly?"
"It matters because with you being a carno, I can find out if I'm right, duh" She went
If Ace could raise an eyebrow at this moment, he would "Sorry... did you just say 'duh', to me?"
The Szechuanosaurus at this went up and nearly ended up pressing her snout to his "Wanna do something about it?" She asked tauntingly with a smirk coloured in her tone
Ace growled at her disrespect, and was very close to teaching the cocky young punk a lesson. That was when Paris decided to try to be the voice of reason "Maybe a compromise is in order" She spoke first, before turning to the wild dino "You want to see if Ace and his kind are as fast as you heard, right?"
"Yeah but hang on a moment" The Szechuanosaurus replied "You guys all have names?" She then asked, her mind thankfully elsewhere for the time being
"Yes, this is my partner Paris, the Saichania is Tank, Ace is the Carnotaurus, and our Spinosaurus friend is Spiny" Zoe introduced as she gestured to each of them
"Hi there" Said spinosaurus greeted kindly
"Well if you all have names, what would mine be?" The purple carnosaur asked
At this the d-team, both human and dinosaur looked to each other for ideas, pondering for a moment or two "How 'bout Fuli?" They all looked to Spiny as he gave them all an innocent look
"The cheetah from the lion guard series?" Tank asked her boyfriend with a deadpan
"What? I didn't hear any of you come up with anything" He defended himself
"I like it" They then all turned to the Szechuanosaurus in surprise "It's a pretty name, I don't see anything wrong with it"
"Anyway" Paris brought back the original topic, and deciding that will be her name from now on "You want to race Ace to see if your right, does that mean you don't care if the humans here hurt themselves, or you hurt them accidently?" She asked
"That's what their called?" The carnosaur, now Fuli asked back, first looking to Rex and Zoe, then to all of the now empty fumula one cars a ways back as they were now being towed back the other way "Well, it wasn't on my mind but, when you put it like that..." She went on lowering her head in shame as her tailed drooped as well
Rex then spoke up "Well, if you come with us, we can take you somewhere that you can race not just Ace, but other fast moving dinos like you"
"Yeah, there's a whole herd of dinosaurs back where we come from, and several of it's members would love to race and play with you all you want. Not to mention the humans won't be scared by you" Zoe spoke up with a smile
There was one word in that sentence that made Fuli go wide eyed, and any kind of emotion inside her was replaced by one very negative feeling "Did you say... a herd?"
The D-team were all caught off guard her sudden shift in tone "Yeah, what's wrong with that?" Ace asked her, any animosity toward her from before long gone
Fuli then backed up, an aggressive growl to accompany her "So that's how it is. You're just tricking me into a cage where it's everyone for themselves and no one cares about your suffering"
"Hey now, that's not how herds work" Tank spoke up, not liking her new attitude one bit as she stepped in front of Rex and Zoe protectively "I don't know what your problem is all-the sudden, but I don't like it" She warned
"If you want me in a prison like the old days" Fuli snapped back with a snarl "You're gonna have to catch me, and drag me into it. Hint, you can't. And you won't" She said, before turning and running off
"Hey, come back here!" Tank roared after her as she gave chase
"Tank, wait!" Ace exclaimed, running ahead and blocking her much to her shock "There's no way any of us can catch Fuli by playing her own game, even I would struggle to catch up to her"
"Ace is right Tank" Zoe spoke up "If we wanna catch her, we gotta out strategize her"
As they all talked however, Paris looked in the direction which Fuli ran off with worry in her eyes. Something about what she said stirred up worry in her core, the way she said cages in particular made her particularly concerned 'what happened to you...?' She thought to her self
Terry's roar suddenly caught their attention, all of them turning to him and Chomp coming their way with Max on the latters head "The managers have postponed the race and got everyone out safely. Did you manage to corner to the Szechuanosaurus?" Max asked them as Chomp lowered himself and allowed the boy to step off
"We did. And Spiny came up with a lion guard reference for her name with 'Fuli' if you can believe it" Zoe answered her boyfriend
"Well, where is she?" Chomp spoke up
"Uh, gone?" Spiny replied stupidly "Flew the coop actually"
As they conversed on what transpired, no one was aware that the Alpha gang had been watching them the entire time. They previously decided to use their common strategy of allowing the brats to weaken the dinosaur and striking the final blow, but did not account for the long chat that followed, let alone for when their target randomly ran off "So now what do we do? Our whole strategy is now out the window cos no battle happened" Zander asked his teammates
"Don't give up just yet you worry wart, we still have an ace card up our sleeves" Ursula told the lanky man "Ed, where's the Szechuanosaurus now?" He asked him
"According to the alpha scanner, it's still running the track and passing the far end" The fat man replied, holding said device in his hands and looking at the map
"That's quite the distance though, and by the time we get there, the dinosaur will be on the other end" Zander bemoaned.
Ursula growled frustratingly and bashed him on the head "So we don't just run around like a headless chicken you moron, we set up somewhere we can cut her off." She told him in a tone to match "We're not far from the corners near the finish line, right Ed?" She then asked
"Why'd you do that for?" Zander whined as he rubbed the bump on his head

'Those guys must be idiots if they think I'd go with 'em that easily' Fuli thought darkly to herself, much more than someone of her age should be.
A herd of all things vile! She had been there and done that already, and she'd more than happily live the rest of her life away from such delusions. The one she came from thought her plenty enough. Especially her father.
(Flashback)
Most dinosaurs would consider herd life as being fortunate, lucky and safe. For baby Fuli however, it was hell. Ever since she hatched she had been taught that it was every dinosaur for themselves, without any care or compassion for those around you, and strong discipline of how only the strong may thrive. The young Szecuanosaurus, being one of the smallest and weakest of the hatchlings born one summer ago, was abused and bullied by nearly all the other kids, and even the adults turned an ignorant, uncompassionate eye at her plight.
"Why won't you just leave me alone!?" Baby fuli cried as five other hatchlings took turns to beat her
"Get real wimp, you weren't even supposed to hatch!" A Camptosaurus boy jeered
"You could do us all a favour and die, you know" A Saurophaganax girl mocked as their friends laughed at the horrid joke, being a Decentrurus, a Ceratosaurus and a jobaria
"Out of my, it's my turn now!" The trike boasted, flexing his little jaws and cuffing the ground
"No, get away from me!" Fuli cried once more, turning around and ran for her life
"Get her, don't let her get away!" The camptosaurus exclaimed as they gave chase.
Now being a Szechuanosaurus meant that she was much faster than her tormentors, but the beat up she received earlier prohibited her from running as fast as she usually would be. This meant that her bullies could keep her and even catch up to her. After running for a minute or so through the herd they lived (many of the adults calling her a pest, waste of space, and other horrible names) She turned and noticed her oppressors were slowing down.
She then came to a harsh stop and fell on her backside as she crashed into a familiar leg, the owner of which looking down at her like a parasite. The herd leader... and her father "D-daddy..." Fuli whimpered pathetically
The big male Szechuanosaurus, instead of helping his daughter like any parent should, growled savagely and snapped at her, causing her to cower in on herself as tears poured from her eyes. He had purposefully stepped in her way to stop her from fleeing further "I am not your 'daddy', parasite... and if the law didn't prohibit it, I would've gladly eaten you myself..." He snarled at her aggressively, the baby sobbing and hiccupping at her fathers words as her bullies caught up to them. The Szechuanosaurus looked to them "She's all yours. Do with her as you please" He told them, before heading to see to his new mate for talks for a more worthy heir to his position.
The bigger, more brutish kids laughed at her as they pounced on the screaming child
(Flashback ends)
The scars of her past even to this day were fresh in her memory, that moment in particular bringing a small sect of tears to her eyes, causing her to seize her sprinting to get her emotions in check. He was gone. Her bullies were gone. Her hellish herd was gone and she was never going back. She wouldn't if her life depended on it.
As she brooded however, she didn't realise that she was being watched by a certain group of familiar undesirables "There she is. Don't know why she stopped but this is perfect" Ursula said with a smirk
"And I now realise there was nothing to worry about, so I apologise for earlier" Zander said to the greenette, to which she nodded in forgiveness
"Best thing is, the brats are on the other side of the track to here" Ed pointed out as he joined them, carrying a lunch of a sort "So I say we enjoy these hotdogs I found and then catch the dinosaur afterwards"
"I like your thinking Ed" Ursula said to him as she and Zander took a hotdog each "But I think an even better plan would be dinner and a show, wouldn't you boys agree?"
"Oh, yeah" They said simultaneously
"Zander, take out your scanner and bring out one of our new friends"
"One hybrid sauropod coming up" He said, as he brought out his scanner and the card in question
"ALPHA SLASH!"
As soon as the card was slashed, Bulldust appeared right in front of Fuli, startling the small wind dino as she went wide eyed at the unfamiliar giant in front of her as a battlefield formed However, the hybrid in question wasn't exactly... satisfied, looking down at her with a slightly exasperated looking expression "This is what I'm facing today?" He asked
"W-who or what are you?" She asked in shock
"Hey, you insisted on coming along, and this is our target today. We don't control what dinosaur appears" Ursula spat at the hybrid
Bulldust sighed as he made his own " I suppose there's no use in whining, yeess. Let's get this over with" He than advanced upon the wind dino.
Alarm shot through fully Fuli like a bullet train, turning around to make her escape "You ain't catching me!" She boasted with a confident facade
"Not so fast, little missy" Zander replied, bringing out a water move card "Aqua whip, go!"
Bulldusts mouth filled with water as he glowed blue, the familiar tendril blasting out and ensnaring Fuli like a bear trap. He swung his neck upwards and threw her into the air, powering down the whip as she began falling back down, and just before she hit the ground he slammed his neck against her, making her fly into the back of one of the nearby stands, injuring her greatly on impact as she fell to the ground.
"Score!" Zander and Ed called out excitedly, the latter mouth filled with some of his lunch
"Nice one Bulldust!" Ursula cheered. This mission was just going way too easy
The hybrid strode over to the immobilised Fuli, boredom on his face as she stared up at him terrified. "Too easy a target, barely a test. Utter waste. Yeess" He grumbled, raising his front left foot in preparation to crush her back into her card.
That was the moment something, or rather, a familiar yellow triceratops crashed into his right flank with an electric charge, not enough to through away but powerful enough for him to slightly lose balance, having been caught completely off guard "Knock, knock!" Chomp jeered at him.
Bulldusts boredum was shot away, dark excitement now coursing through him for a proper battle "Ahh yeess, let's play, who's there?" He mocked back, swinging his head like a pendulum, throwing Chomp away. He then moved in to quickly finish off Fuli as she desperately tried to get up.
"It's Terry!" Terry suddenly roared, charging out of nowhere and slamming the hybrid in the face with his tail, making him back up as the T-rex then stood over the Szechuanosaurus protectively "Fuli, right?" He quickly greeted her.
"Who's there?" Bulldust jeered as he parried with his own tail smash, sending Terry flying a couple of paces away.
"He told you, it's Terry!" Chomped called over, throwing himself at the sauropod as they too got into a shoving contest
Bulldust grunted as he one their little match, before looking back over "It's Terry... who?" He paused in his reply at seeing the rex high in the air with his new dragon storm ability, the dino made dragon crashing into him mightily and sending the bewildered hybrid rolling a little ways up the track, even going onto the gravel and nearly ended up in the barriers
"Terry the T-rex, asshole" He finished as the bothers gathered in front of Fuli protectively, the youngster looking up at them with a surprised mix of emotions
"Man, that was a lame joke, not to mention cringy"
"Ehh, a lil' bit"
"What the hell was that!?" They looked over to see Ursula jumping in the air furiously with tick mark dancing around her face "This mission was going so lovely and easily until you rocked up, so why don't you just go away!?" She raved at them
"And why would do that, old lady?" Chomp asked innocently with a smirk in his eyes
This made Ursula extra pissed off "I AM NOT AN OLD LADY!" She screamed, before suddenly running out of cover (before her shocked team mates could stop her) and dashed in a series of circles around the pair, much to their surprise "How many times do have to tell you? Can an old lady do this, huh, can she!?" She raved at them before dashing back the way she came.
"Alpha gang!" Three very familiar voices called over, making the trio jump in fright as the brats and the rest of their dinosaurs ran over to them.
"It's you!" Fuli cried back happily, before their conversation caught up with her memory "Wait. It's you!" She recited with an untrusting glare and a tone to match
"Hey punk, our friends just saved you, show some respect!" Tank bit back as the other dinos joined them
"Can it, Tank" Ace told her as the kids ran in front of their partners
"Give it up, Alpha gang, we win this time!" Max declared proudly with a smirk
"Yeah, you know how this always goes!" Zoe added on with the same look
"So much for a perfect mission" Zander moaned "It was going so well, and now this"
"I say we just go before we get our buts kicked" Ed went on, looking down in defeat
Ursula though, maintained some air of confidence "Well, everyone here except for me seemed to forget we're not out yet" She spoke out loud, catching everyone's attention as she took Zanders scanner, and pulled out a card "And that you brats can't do this!" She exclaimed as she swiped it
Bulldust nearly shot up back to his feet as he glowed purple, giving a roar as his tail formed a quake saber, and because all of the D-teams dinosaurs were grouped up, he was able to quickly slash them down before they could react. "AHH NO! I FORGOT HE COULD DO THAT!" Max shouted out, both in shock and in anger
"You're not the only one Max" Rex said to his fellow king worriedly
"You creep!" Zoe shouted at Bulldust
"Aw, little lady I'm shocked, I didn't believe you were above name calling but even so" The hybrid replied in mock hurt, taunting the kids "Creep, nooo, dinosaur superior indeed"
"And now, it's time to call in some backup" Ursula commented as she brought out a fire card
"ALPHA SLASH! FIRE IT UP, ALIORAMUS!"
With a loud announcing roar, Bruton formed right next to Bulldust with a roar "Alioramus on the field guys!" Chomp cautioned as an alpha ball flew around the opponent's head
"Stay focused Chomp, we can win this" Max called out to his Triceratops as he brought out a move card "Plasma anchor!"
Chomp gathered lighting between his horns, before shooting out the anchor, ensnaring Bruton as he then threw him up in the air, and slammed him back on the ground.
"Good one Chomp!" Max cheered before turning to his girlfriend and Rex "Okay, you guys can take on the Alioramus while Terry, Chomp and I handle Bulldust"
"Sure, we'll make sure Fuli is covered as well" Rex said to him as Zoe gave an answering nod
"I'ma kick all ya asses!" Spiny shouted dumbly as the they all charged, while Paris backed off and moved to check on Fuli, the Szechuanosaurus giving her a scared, untrusting look
"Stay away from me!" She snapped at the Parasaurolophus defensively
"Easy Fuli, I can help you" Paris replied back gently as Zoe readied a card, as if knowing what her partner was thinking
"Natures blessing!" She called out as she slashed the card
Paris backed off and glowed green, the familiar healing leaves and plant life flowing around her as Fuli looked up in wonder and shock "Not so fast, nooo!" Bulldust exclaimed, bashing the five other dinos aside with Brutons help after clambering back to his feet
"Let's get things rolling with a new toy" Ursula said as she took out an earth move card again along with Zanders scanner "Rock Roller!"
Bulldust gave a roar as a boulder formed in front of him, using his tail to spin it around before bashing it forwards in a charge towards the two girls. But the boulder wasn't aiming at them specifically.
As Zoe in a panic quickly realised "PARIS, FULI GET OUT OF THERE!" She screamed
The two females looked to see the boulder crash into the stands back, the impact of which causing a shockwave that made the structure begin to topple right on top of them. Fuli completely froze, her life flashing before her eyes "Noo!" Paris cried, grabbing the wind dino by her tail and threw her out of harms way just before she got buried
The whole battle paused as every last dinosaur and human watched in mixed levels of shock, though it was horror for the majority "Oh shit" Spiny muttered with wide eyes
"PARIS!" Chomp cried as he and the other D-team dinos ran over to the debris, the kids hot on their heals
"NOO!" Zoe wailed, desperately pulling and large lumps of material as the boys joined her, though barely having an effect as their dinosaurs tried to dig themselves
On the sidelines, Fuli just stared unmovingly, shocked and riddled with all kinds of emotions. She was saved. A herd dinosaur put herself in harms way to ensure her safety. And seemingly paid the price, riddling her further with crushing guilt as her eye shined with tears
On the other side of the field "That was something" The alpha trio muttered simultaneously "So apparently Rock roller is more powerful with a sauropod doing the deed than an actual earth type dinosaur" Zander hypothesized
"I call that overdoing it, just slightly" Ursula added
"I think differently" Bulldust spoke up as the trio turned to him "It matters not what happens in the course of a battle, nooo, all that matters is victory, yeess, so what if lives are taken? Less one enemy to deal with later" He then turned back to his opponents "Wouldn't you say?"
The D-team heard Bulldusts comments and in righteous fury turned to him "I say whatever, all I care about is making you pay for what you did!" Zoe yelled at him vengefully
"I'll send you straight to hell, personally!" Chomp roared as he stepped to her side, revenge all over his blood stream
Fuli watched as they all stood shoulder to shoulder, and in seeing such unity, hatred came into her eyes that were directed to their attacker. She stood up, and marched over to them "You can back off!" She hissed at them, snapping them out of it as she faced Bulldust in rage "He's all mine...!"
"Best you move aside, whelp" He said to her "What happens next won't be pretty"
She stomped a foot in response "Try me!" She growled as she glowed, before charging forward at high speed and performing a classic mayfly attack, rushing around the hybrid and smashing into him from one direction and another, not letting up even as her target was not even scratched one bit
"Get yourself out of there, Bulldust!" Ursula called over, before handing a spare scanner to Ed "Ed, move card, now"
"Go, death fire!" He announced
Bruton gathered liquid black flames in his mouth, before spewing them forward, interrupting the young dinosaur and causing her to fall down as she gave a yell of pain
"Fuli doesn't stand a chance against those two by herself!" Ace observed in concern
"Then it's time to even things out!" Max declared, bringing out another move and swiping it just as quick "Chomp, Tag team!"
Bruton spewed more of his death fire attack and was just about to finish Fuli off, but before the flames could reach her, a Pawpawsaurus suddenly formed in front of her out of nowhere, taking the brunt of the attack and receiving no damage "Not so fast!" Pawpaw yelled out, his voice now slightly deeper to show his age
"What the-?" Asked Fuli bewildered
"Oh no!" Ursula cried
"Now let's work together and take 'em down!" Max went
"Sounds good!" Rex agreed as he slashed a card with his dino bracer "Boulder slide!"
Tank reared up with a roar, slammed her feet down and formed a rock wall behind her, before six large boulders rolled down it at high speed and crashing into Bulldust, making him stagger as each rock slammed into him
"Deep sea Terrorise!" Zoe declared
Spiny gave a roar as Ares suddenly leapt out off a pool of water, and with a louder roar closed his jaws around Brutons neck and threw him into the air, more so after giving a slam of his tail
"You're up now Max!" Rex told his fellow king
"Time to finish this!" He declared, swiping two cards at once
"Thunder driver!" Chomp shouted, infusing himself with lightning, jumping high and above the airborne Alioramus, and spinning and smashing him into the ground, turning him into a card as Chomp finished his attack
"Solar Fury!" Terry roared, covering himself in fire and leaping high into the air, letting the flames form a large fireball in front of him and roared into it, causing the floor made by the move be lit up in a solar flare, and nearly end up cooking Bulldust alive, roaring in pain from the heat as he was finally defeated.
"NOO!" The alpha trio wailed
"That was for Paris!" Chomp declared as all of the dinosaurs roared victoriously
"Grr, just get those cards!" Ursula ordered her team mates
"Right" Zander and Ed replied as the former picked up Bulldust, be before the latter could touch Brutons card, Pawpaw and Fuli stepped in the way, allowing him to be picked up by Max
"Two dinos for the price of one. Doesn't get better than that" He said as he rubbed his nose
"You brat!" Ursula raved at him with closed fists
"Um, Ursula?" Ed spoke up "I think we were going...?" He said with no small hint of a whimper, seeing all the angry dinosaurs glaring at them
"Get outta here" Terry ordered with a growl, making the trio whimper even more "Now!" He promptly roared, sending the screaming Alpha gang running back to their ride home.
Alpha gang gone, the D-team turned their attention back to trying to find Paris under the debris of the fallen stand "Paris? Honey can you here me?" Chomp called into the stones in dread, praying to hear her voice.
"Paris...?" Zoe spoke up pleadingly as Max wrapped an arm around her shoulders
Just as they thought she was well and truly gone, they saw a section of the debris rustle as a stone even toppled, making the whole team rush over and dig with renewed vigour. After a few digs, Chomp came upon a sight that nearly made him fall over in relief "Babe!/Paris!" Both he and Zoe cried
His beloved mates face, dusty and bruised but very much alive came into view "Hey." She panted in slight pain, trying to dig herself free, but failing short due to her injuries, never mind a lump of concrete keeping her pinned
"Okay, hang on Paris, don't move" Tank told her, before giving a slam of her tail to the large concrete stone, shattering it and freeing her.
Road clear, the kids made their way to Paris Zoe hugging her face as she cried in relief "Oh Paris, I thought you were gone!"
"I'm so sorry for scaring you Zoe" She replied comfortingly as she returned her affection with a nuzzle, soon doing the same for her mate. After which she made an attempt to stand up, but promptly collapsed as she gave a cry of pain "Urg, clumsy"
"No you're not" Rex spoke up as he examined her back right leg, and cringing at the bruises, scars and swelling it's making "You're hurt. Badly"
Paris gave a pained sigh "Guess that's what I get when I put my life on the line for others, huh" She moaned
"Oh babe, don't say that" Chomp retorted as he gently assisted her up to her feet
"Ahem!" Spiny went as he cleared his throat, catching everyone's attention "Fellas, el-fulia" He said, as he stepped aside
What came to view from behind him, was Fuli with a look of utter shame, guilt and fear on her face and in her eyes, slowly walking over to them as Paris watched her gently. She stopped just a few feet short of her and her mate, all of them now looking to her "I..." Fuli tried to speak, but just didn't know what to say after everything that had happened
Paris gave a gentle mental smile "We know..." She spoke back softly, knowing that she needed time. At that so gentle reply of words, Fuli broke completely, weeping profusely as tears poured from her eyes and her body racked with sobbing, Paris getting Chomp to bring her over to little theropod as she lowered her neck to embrace her "Shhh, there there, Fuli... I'm here..."
"You're okay, kid" Chomp then joined the embrace, using the same tone as his mate, a group hug akin to parents and child forming "You're okay..."
All others watched the delicate moment on the side-lines "Looks like someone has learned that herd life ain't as she claimed" Tank commented, taking pity on the youngster
"Well, for all we know Tank, Fuli wasn't born into a herd that looked out for her" Ace replied to her "Either way, it's her story to tell, not ours"
"In the mean time, Fuli is now one of us" Rex spoke up
"That's right" Max said "And we managed to snag Bruton the Alioramus from the Alpha Gang as well" He added with a smile as he held up the card
"So we came here looking for one dinosaur, and ended getting two" Spiny brought up, before looking to Tank and Terry "That's what you call a double kill right?"
"In a sense" Terry replied with a shrug, before they all turned back to watch the moment

A while later, the space pirates were informed what had happened at Silverstone and promptly repaired the damage with the restoration device aboard their ship as the dinosaur kings teleported home. Paris was seen to immediate medical attention while the rest of the dinosaurs introduced Fuli to their herd and honestly, she was as happy as can be. Apparently not all herds were like the one she grew up with, thank goodness, and she quickly found herself becoming best of friends with Pawpaw and Minx much to everyone's relief. In Bruton's case, his mind was bent with alpha gangs experimentations with the alpha ball for a long time, so he told by the kings to take it easy for a while until he was completely better.
In the meantime "So you're own father neglected you and didn't look after you like he should've? Just because you were small?" Beta asked the young dinosaur with sadness
Fuli gave a slow nod "My whole herd pretty much just looked out only for themselves. And being born the smallest and weakest doesn't really get you much, except for mass ridicule" She looked down, with pains of the best coming to her mind
"Sounds just like a bunch of Assholes if you ask me" Yang pitched
"Yeah no offence, but it doesn't sound like you were meant to be born into that kind of environment anyway" Killer added for his new girlfriend
"Unfortunately the past cannot be changed, and it is something you will never forget" Guru said to her "But rest assured, young one, that is not the case for our herd. We support each other, when we fight together, when we are sad or scared, and when one of us goes down, we all go down. That is how we live life in the new world"
Fuli gave an understanding nod, before Pawpaw came over and gave her a nuzzle, who was quick to return the affection with her own "Will Paris be okay, Mr Guru?"
"She will be fine, Bruton too" He reassured her "In the mean time, Ace asked me to send you over to him, something about a race of a sort"
Fuli gasped, glee and surprise mixed in before she promptly turned and fled in one direction "Umm... Fuli?" Pawpaw asked
"You're going the wrong way kid!" Venom shouted
"I knew that!" Fuli snipped back, before dashing in the other direction

"So you not only failed to get me the new dinosaur, but you also lost Bruton!?" Dr Z yelled in anger at the cowering alpha trio "That's two dinosaurs lost in one day!" He yelled more as he threw a tantrum
"Docter, sir, I'm sure that if you give us the chance we can-"
"THERE ARE NO CHANCES!" Screeched the old man, another tantrum being thrown as tick marks covered his head as he pulled out his two electric rods "Now you three stand still!" He ordered as he began to chase them all over the room
Outside the door, Bulldust gave a chuckle at the misfortune of the three, before wondering off. In all seriousness the loss didn't really bother him, sure it was unfortunate but those three were morons who couldn't control a dinosaur the way Gothel does. Besides, Ravage and Ripper knew his value to the hybrid pack and took his role seriously. Speaking of which, as he stepped out into the night outside, he saw his two alphas and Scowler coming over to him
"I take it those three stooges failed in catching this latest addition of ancients cards" Ripper asked rhetorically with no amount of surprise
"Well, you know how it goes, weaklings on one side, idiots on the other" Bulldust replied
"Hmp, heard as much. Come, our mistress wishes to speak with us privately. We're soon to be expecting some new additions" Ravage told them all, before they all turned and headed deep into the woods.

I'll be honest, I feel like this chapter could've come out a lot sooner
First I aimed to have it out by February, missed that deadline, then I went for easter break, missed that two, and now It's out about three days after the coronation of King Charles. Well, better late than never.
Took the liberty of changing Crimsons name to Ravage now, updated as such for the last chapter as well to save confusion
We'll be starting easy into this new season before getting into the more serious stuff. In the mean time I'm prepping for my GCSE's so I might not be around for a bit, but not for too long I don't think
