The Following is a recruiting ad currently circulating the prisons in Citadel Territory. With The Council's permission the Union is currently recruiting from the Council's prisons for bodies to throw at the Reapers when they get here. ST&R S. Arterius

[Advertisement Begins: Picture of a one eyed Synthetic plays, comparable to the military model that Accompanied Admiral Shepard during her investigation on the Citadel]

"Do you Crave the immortality and Physical Power of a Synthetic? Do you desire the invulnerability and might of Durasteel for yourself? Do you have multiple life or death sentences that you want to shave off? Then Join Valhalla Industries Today!"

[Footage Plays of a prisoner being strapped to a table of some kind, devices resembling needles itself onto their head, they convulse briefly before going limp and a nearby Synthetic springs to life]

"Through Valhalla's patented mind to machine process it's possible to back up a person of various species consciousness onto the server of a positronic brain of your choice of a Valhallan Synthetic."

[The camera pans over several models of Synthetics of six feet tall, eight and fifteen, respectively Einherjar, Loki and Ymir class synthetics Footage Cuts to Mugin corvettes dog-fighting against Shriekers above a planet. Cuts to Einherjars and Loki engage in fire fights with high end union weapons technology. Cuts to Ymir shooting down air born shriekers using 'freeze rays.']

"Do you feel most at home in a body comparable to the size that you have grown accustomed to? Do you desire to be put into the body of a giant? Do you wish to glide through the heavens like a great bird of prey? Valhalla has The answer for you!?"

[Footage plays of a, appropriately censored, subject inside of a union augmentation chamber. Subject is having several wires sewn into their body while small incisions are made across them implanting various different devices as needed]

"If you genuinely feel attached to your flesh and blood body then it is possible to augment you to the point that you're suitable as a mech craft operator."

[Footage pans across hundreds of Krogan inside of cloning chambers, I can confirm personally that this ship is not associated with Valhalla but is in fact a Lich Ship]

"Or so long as you don't mind providing your original body as an unlimited supply of corresponding genetic material it is possible to transplant your newly acquired Grey Box bound consciousness inside of a new body over and over again."

[Footage plays of a Tebrid in a custom laboratory coat working on various cybernetic bodies]

"Or if you feel your talents are wasted in the field, Valhalla's vast armies require a nearly as vast supply of engineers and scientists to keep it's war machine running like the well oiled unit that it is."

"The enemies ahead won't care about whether or not you can defend yourselves."

[Footage of Sovereign's attack on the citadel plays, various civilians are transformed in husks by the Collector's swarm]

"When animals are hunting in the wild they target the old, the young and the helpless. The Reapers mean to prey on you. So how do you plan on saving yourselves while locked in whatever cell that the citadel have locked you inside of? Or will you pick up your guns, travel to the front-lines and fight for, if not your lives, then your freedom?"

A review of the contract received from one of the recruiting offices

The Signatory agrees to undergo the full range of Valhalla's training regimen. For every successful mission that the signatory runs five years will be taken off of their sentence, the nature of the mission and its parameters will be explained in advance to the Signatory. If the Signatory leaves the battle field or their post before their assignment is completed then it will add five years onto their sentence. Additional objectives can be added to the mission at the discretion of high command, if these objectives are not completed the signatory will not be punished, but will be rewarded if they complete these objectives. The Signatory will not engage in criminal behaviour while working for Valhalla industries, the Signatory will acknowledge that should they do so they will be charged to the full extent of the law and the appropriate amount of additional time will be added. The Signatory will acknowledge that they are responsible for the care and maintenance of their body, original or otherwise, and acknowledges that they are responsible for it's maintenance and care, if the body is damaged then the signatory will be responsible for paying for the replacement. If the Signatory cannot pay for a replacement they may take a loan out from Valhalla industries. This loan may be repaid by: requisitioning salvage on the field of battle including enemy technology, armour and weapons from fallen forces, or raw materials, rescuing civilians, or elimination of secondary targets. The Signatory acknowledges that by tampering with their cybernetic implants they void their warranty and Valhalla will not be responsible for replacement bodies until after their implants have been brought back under code. The Signatory acknowledges that if they are infected by reaper technology their immediate body will be voided. The Signatory acknowledges that in their down time, defined as 'Non Mission Related Time' their body shall be place into a state of suspended animation while their Grey Box consciousness is placed into a simulation. What this simulation consists of will vary depending on the Signatory's good behaviour with standard simulations consisting of a standard issue four foot by six foot windowless, door-less cell with a bed to sit on and a speaker from which instructions will be given to the prisoner. By signing this document the Signatory agrees to become a part of Valhalla Industries.

Breaking it down into brass tacks, the long and the short of it is 'sign over your soul, and we'll let you out of your cage to fight for us.' Normally I wouldn't approve, but with what's on the horizon well... all hands on deck as it were. If they were just aiming their contracts at the prisons I wouldn't be nearly as concerned as I am. As it stands though well... we have goofed up on this one.

[Footage pans over a Veterans clinic filled mostly with amputated Turian's. Footage cuts to Citadel Clinic in the same hospital where a wider variety of Citadel races including Asari, Salarians, Elcor, Volus, Drell, Hanar, Turians and the likes are suffering from what appears to be mental trauma, most likely survivors of the Batarians]

"It is truly a shame that for so long the brave soldiers of the Citadel have been made to suffer with... less."

[Footage cuts to Union clinic, where Admiral Victus can be seen being helped through physical rehabilitation with his obviously cybernetic legs. A group of Citadel races are shown meditating with a Human psychic who has cast a green psionic energy over the crowd, most likely edited in post shooting]

"Valhalla industries extends its 'Veterans Renewed' Program to the Citadel! No longer need brave soldiers suffering from the crippling injuries of their station need suffer the indignity of not being whole! No long do brave warriors need suffer through the scars of their station with Valhalla's psychic health clinics! Visit our Website to see if you qualify!"

Speaking as someone whose gotten a rundown on Union prosthetic tech, it's surprisingly cheap, and I'm pretty sure the damned slugs have outlined to our own engineers in Armax and Elkoss how to make them as well. Potential employee contracts for Valhalla's field forces are mostly on the level, it makes them sound significantly less like legal battle slaves and more like warden soldiers looking after the lunatics that they unleash onto the battlefield. If you were hoping to get a report on how we could use the Union's synthetic monsters against them from me, I'm afraid that I'm going to have to disappoint you.
