A/N: Okay... Next Chapter! Don't know what more I can say, really.

I know one person complained about how I was portraying "Logan" and as a Spartan, he would not be acting the way he is. Well... This person doesn't know my history when it comes to writing for Spartans and there is more to my OC that just being a augmented soldier wrapped in Power Armor. I have plans, but you will have to wait to see how it plays out.

But to everyone else, thanks for your support and I hope you guys like this chapter. Because I will not be updating until 2022. Holidays and all.

But enough of my rant, in to the story...

U.N.S.C. On Hallowed Ground.

In Orbit above Proxima III

June 9th, 2578

The flight deck wasvessdody busy with activity, as the next Pelican flew in with its latest batch of passengers. Even after the battle had ended on the surface and the Remnant forces neutralized, the hospital ship and its crew were still doing their best to assist the wounded and give medical attention to those who needed it.

Already the Mary Seacole and Mercy's Plight where at capacity and were getting ready to leave the system. There was only so much the medical teams on board these vessels could do, but hopefully the Facilities on New Palestine would be able to help those who needed it the most. The On Hallowed Ground would be joining them as well, as they too had reached capacity with the arrival of this final Pelican.

No sooner had the medivac touched down, its rear door swung down and out came a mix of UNSC Army and civilian medical personnel who had been helping in the evacuationa. With them, were a number of badly wounded military personnel and civilians. One of which was on a spinal board an were now being brough off the craft. It was a young man dressed in a bloody UNSC Navy uniform and half of his face almost burned off.

He was completely unconscious and his body looked as if he gotten into a fight with a Brute and lost. Which was not far from the truth, as a patrol came upon the young man just as a Chieftian was about to finish him with a Gravity Hammer. A burst of heavy machine gun fire from the Patrol's Warthog quickly dispatched the creature, but now they had to get this young man to safety and get him medical treatment as soon as possible.

How he was even still alive was a miracle in it own right, as a Strike from a Grav Hammer was more than enough to kill a man.

Somehow, the Marines were able to get him back to their make shift command post and from there, he was eventually transported to the hospital ship in orbit. Hopefully the medical teams there would be able to save his life, but he was in bad shape. Broken bones, internal bleeding, brain swelling... The list was a horror story that would make even the most confident of doctors shake their heads in sadness. as they knew full well what would be the likely outcome. Unfortunately this would be the case, for no sooner had he placed into a cryo pod, the head doctoe just shook his head and typed in...

PETTY OFFICER MALCOME RAMLOGAN

DECEASED.

Crystal Palace, Crystal Tokyo.

Earth (?), Present Day...

Without question, the D-77 "Peliccan" was by far one of the more versatile vehicles humanity had developed. As during the Insurrection and later, the Covenant War, the Pelican earned a reputation of being a solid platform by both its crews and the Soldiers/Marines that flew in them. More than a few lives had been saved due to the Dropships's rugged design and its ability to both absorb and dish out punishment.

So it was no wonder that even after one hundred plus years after being first introduced, and fifty years after end of the war, the UNSC still operated the the little ship that could. As they also became a key component in the reconstruction efforts that took place after the war. Of coure, the D-77H-TCI had long since been out of production and were in the process of being replaced by newer variants. Still, many of the older D-77s were still in service by 2599, though many of them were now being used as support craft within UNSC space and far from the front lines.. The Siege Merciless had two wings of the older D-77s assigned to it, along with a squadron of the newer D79-TC, prior to its final mission. But most of them were planet side with the Remnant attacked. Only 3 Pelicans were left on board the Super Heavy Cruiser, but only because there were in various states of repair and could not be used as a result.

But thanks to the Engineers that were also left behind, all three were returned to working order. Once of which, which had the name "The Acadia Express" painted on the nose of the craft, was now sitting in the Royal Gardens of the Crystal Palace. Earlier, it had been used to transport Logan and his new... "Hosts" from the Cruiser, to Crystal Tokyo. Needless to say, the drop ship made quite an impression on those who saw it land. But that was almost 24 hours ago and Logan had yet to return. So for now it sat, its powerful engines cooled and silent, while the only ramp leading into it was closed and sealed tight. Waiting for its master to return so it could ferry him back to its nest on board the Siege Merciless, but it wasn't completely alone. As the Amazoness Quartet/Asteroid Senshi stood guard just outside that section of the Garden and made sure no one entered.

But despite their training and status as Senshi, they were completely unaware that some one... Or rather... "Something" had been able to remain undetected and was slowly approaching the craft.

Within seconds, a shadowy mass had darted from the tree line and made its way over to the Drop ship. For a moment, the being seemed to look at the craft in awe. As if it was admiring the craftsmanship and engineering which went into creating the vessel, but eventually it continued on and attempted to locate a spot where it could enter.

Now obviously, the Arcadia Express had been sealed and only a command from its pilot (Logan) would allow a person to enter it. But of course, the shadowy being was not a person and was able to enter the craft with ease. Upon entring, the shadow took a humanoid form and stood within the "Troop Area". Its red eyes scanned the utilitarian space for a while as if it were searching for something. But eventually, the being glided up to the cockpit of the drop ship and almost immediately, it seemed as if its interest had perked up. The consoles and flight controls were surprisingly archaic, primitive compared to what currently existed. But what ever works, it mused.

For the next few minutes, the being literally went through the "Primitive " drop ship. Trying to learn everything it could about the craft, to see if it had anything of value it could use. But despite being a marvel in its own right, the Pelican was just too primitive to have anything of interest. Finding nothing of value, the shadowy figure left the parked craft and swiftly made its way back towards the palace. There was still more work that needed to be done...

Meanehile, within the Palace...

"What is the current status of the ship?" Logan asked, as he communicated with Hanna.

"The drones and the Engineers have been able to restore most systems." The Artificial Intelligence explained. "There are still having issues with the long range sensors though. From what Henry has said, it will take some time before they are operational. He said he had to re create several components from scratch, since he was unable to find any in storage."

"And the weapon systems?"

"All operational and under my control." The A.I. replied. "James had to make some modifications, but we should be more than able to hold our own in a fight. Though with the long range sensors still off line, someone would still be able to get close enough to do some damage before we can get Shields up." She paused for a bit before asking. "You don't think Neo-Queen Serenity is a threat, do you?"

"She and her... court seem friendly." The Spartan replied. "Maybe a little too friendly."

"Are you suggesting it could be all a ruse?"

"I'm suggesting that having the Siege Merciless combat ready, would be a huge asset to have right now." Logan replied.

"Understood, I will contact you when repairs are completed." Hanna replied, before cutting the link. Leaving Logan to interact with the Royal and her court.

Serenity had been present through out the conversation between the Super Soldier and the A.I., but obviously, she didn't know it was going on. As Logan had switched off his Power Armor's speaker system, so that Serenity could not hear him speak to Hanna about the Siege Merciless or its current condition.

In warfare, deception was key to victory. Making the enemy guess your next move or feeding them false infirmation, meant the difference between victory and defeat. As such, Logan wanted to make Serenity think he was willing to "be friends" with the Monarch and her apparent court. At least until he was certain that her intentions were not just a show to get his guard down. Logan was not a very trusting individual by nature, a trait he had developed long before joining the UNSC.

Eventually, her Majesty lead Logan into her and her husband's throne room. There the Senshi, both Inners and Outers, had gathered by the request of their queen/long time friend. For the most part, the group of women acted rather civil towards the Spartan and Introduced themselves. The only issue came when Haruka/Uranus formally introduced herself to the armored clad giant before her. It was clear to everyone, including Logan, that the tall blond was still bitter over their first meeting. But she remained civil for the sake of remaining civil and not because her wife/fellow senshi had threatened her. Michiru could be quite scary when she was ready, and Haruka had spent many a night on couch so as to not interact with her enraged partner.

It was during this meeting, Serenity pledged that she and her court would do what ever they could to discover just how he came to be in their universe and if possible, send him and the Siege Merciless back. All Login did was accept their offer before requesting to head back to his room.

Serenity agreed and with Haruka and Michiru escorting him, Logan left the throne room and was lead back to his room. Leaving a perplexed group of senshi to ponder just what would come next.

Rei had informed all of them about what she sensed from Logan during his meeting with Serenity and Endymion. Needless to say, they were all quite perplexed by the Priestess' statement that Logan was not only human, but had suffered some kind of major trauma in his life. Trauma he had been surprising for a long time, but was still feeling the effects of. But despite these feelings, Rei had to admit that he must have had some mental training to be able to keep it buried for so long.

"So what do we do?" Makoto asked, her mind still trying to wrap around just what she had heard.

"I don't believe he is a threat." The Priestess replied, her arms crossed as she peered down at the floor. "But I still think it might be best if we keep on eye on him for the time being."

"Why not make things easy and just get rid of him?" Haruka suggested. As she and Michiru rejoined the group. Cracking her knuckles in a meaningful way as she spoke.

"Because trying to fight him went so well for both you and Michiru when you tried the last time?" Makoto replied sarcastically, eyeing the tall blond. "If you really want to be helpful, then maybe you and Michiru could just do nothing? We don't want a repeat of what happened during the Black Moon's attack."

A look of anger flashed across Haruka's face and looked as if she would lunge at the younger brunette. But Michiru was able to gently restrain her wife, even though Makoto's words had struck a nerve with her too. Even after ten years, it seemed as if the other senshi had still not fully forgiven them for their reckless actions during the war.

The room had fallen dead silent at this point, as Haruka just stood there with Michiru gently resting her hand on her wife's upper chest. Her blue eyes soon shifting to the floor, as memories of her actions during the crisis came flooding back. Makoto for her part, soon realized what she had said and was about to apologize for what she had said. But Haruka quickly exited the room with Michiru following her. Leaving a stunned group of women behind.

"I should not have said that." Makoto said with a gloomy expression, knowing fully that she was in the wrong.

"No, you shouldn't have." The normally calm and reserved Ami, replied.

"So... Back to Logan." Setsuna finally spoke up. "It is obvious that for him, being here is quite traumatic. He's been pulled from his world and placed in an environment very alien to him. He's alone and all things concidered, he has every right not to trust anything we say."

"So what do you suggest?"

"I suggest we give him some space." The Time Senshi replied. "We have to give him some time to properly process his situation."

"So are you suggesting we just ignore him?" Minako quipped. "Oh I'm sure Haruka is going to love that!"

"No, we don't." Setsuna replied. "We give him space, but at the same time not alienate him. But if he does asks for help, then we should be there to answer them."

"And if he doesn't asks?" Rei asked the "older" woman.

"You said it yourself, he is human. Eventually he will ask for it."

Later that Night...

By now, most of the Palace's occupants had retreated to their personal quarters for the night and while most were able to fall asleep, the Senshi were not so fortunate. Despite Serenity's attempts to reassure them that Logan could be trusted, none of them were ready to fully trust this stranger from another universe. None more so than Haruka/Sailor Uranus, who now stood sentry on the same floor as Logan's room.

Makoto's words from earlier in the day, had stuck with the Senshi of the Wind. Even more so the jab of how both her and Michiru should "do nothing", as they didn't want a repeat of what happened during the Black Moon's attack on Earth. Just like everyone else on Earth, the crisis had an serious effect on the normally confident blond. But her actions on that day had resulted in many people getting hurt, her lover being one of them. It was only by some miracle that she didn't lose her Michiru that day, but the other Senshi were not as forgiving. Serenity had given both her and Neptune a task and they had both failed. She had failed and people died.

But the senshi of Uranus was not about to let her past mistakes get the better of her, or so the Senshi of the wind thought. As she hid in the shadows and watched the door to Logan's quarters like a Hawk. Haruka was still not ready to trust this Logan individual and she wanted to make sure He... She... It (?) didn't get a chance to try anything sinister. But if only the leader of the Outer Senshi had been more alert, she would have discovered that she was not the only one interested in the Super Soldier.

For a few meters away on the opposite end of the hallway, four pairs of eyes were also hiding in the shadows. They too had takes an interest in Logan but unlike the Guardian of Uranus, they were more curious rather than suspicious.

Despite the late hour, the Amazoness Quartet/Asteroid Senshi had managed to sneak out of their quarters and make their way to Logan's quarters. Their usual colorful and flamboyant attire, was now replaced with black outfits that would be normally associated with burglars. All they were missing were the matching ski masks, though they wore caps that hid their distinctive hairstyles. But they were not there to break into his room, but rather see if they could catch a glimpse of Serenity's new house questions guest.

"I can't believe you talked me into this." Cere Cere grumbled, and and her fellow Quartet members hid behind some curtains.

"We didn't." Jun Jun countered. "You were the one who insisted on following us."

"But no one told YOU to leave our quarters!" The leader of the group admonished her adoptive sisters. "If anyone of Serenity's Senshi or Serenity herself find us, we're all gonna get it."

"Well you didn't really expect us to let Palla Palla go all by herself?" Ves Ves said innocently.

"Still, you could have stopped her!"

"And make her cry?" Jun Jun added, using the sane tone as her sibling/team mate. "Do you really want to break her heart?"

The two young women then brought the blue haired girl in front of them, holding her protectivly with puppy dog eyed expressions on their faces. While Palla Palla herself just stared at her sister with a sad pout that would put Serenity to shame. Eventually Cere Cere relented and soon turned her attention towards Logan's door. "Fine!" The leader of the Quartet huffed in defeat. "But there is one thing I want to know."

"What's that, Ceres? The green haired Amazon asked.

" What do we do when we actually see him?"

Meanwhile back in Logan's room, the Spartan was now seated on the floor with his back leaned against the wall. It was a position he had grown accustomed to over the years, but this time he was not in some abandoned building/cave. Nor was his location surrounded by Remnant forces and the sounds of battle. Yet, Logan was far from being tired and just sat there in his room, with his face pointed at the door. But the Super Soldier did not intend to spent the rest of the night waiting for someone to enter his chambers. Logan still had questions about this new world he was in and despite what Serenity had said, there was only way he could lean the truth for himself.

Using his Armor's built in thermal scanner, Logan was well aware of Haruka's and the Quarter's presence on the he could not initially tell who they were. Their heat signatures sticking out like a sore thumb on the dark blue background being shown to him. If he had to guess, these were Serenity's "Senshi" waiting for him to make a move. Honestly he could not blame them for not trusting him, all things considered. Truth be told, he did not fully trust Serenity or her "Court" either. Something about her personality felt rather off to the Super Soldier, she just seemed so friendly, warm and welcoming. It just felt so off, no one could be that genuine... Could they? He didn't know.

"Logan to Hanna." The Spartan spoke up.

"Hanna here!" The A.I. said cheerfully. "What's your situation?"

"Can you give me a scan of the... Crystal Palace?" Logan asked the Crusier's A.I.

Hanna paused for a bit before she replied, "Has something happened?"

"No. I just need a general layout of the structure."

"What are you planning?" Hanna asked with a concerned tone in the digital voice.

"I need more intel" the Spartan replied. "And I'm not gonna get it by staying in here."

Again, there was another pause before Hanna replied "Very well. I will have one of the Engineers reconfigure one of the Drones to act as a Sensor probe. It should be in position in the next forty minutes."

"Understood. Logan out." And with that, the conversation between the two ended. All the while, Logan continued to monitor the figures who were standing on the other side of the wall. Logan knew very well that he could easily take one who ever it was on the outside, but he doubted his host would appreciate the mess that would result from that. Besides, the last thing Logan wanted was to make an even worse impression than he already had. Or at least that is what he believed, he could tell that these... "Senshi" didn't trust him. Especially that lanky blond who dressed like a man, it was like she was just waiting for a reason to fight him again.

Come to think of it... One of those figures he was seeing looked rather lanky.

So for now, he would just have to wait for his chance to make his move. He just hoped that when he did, there would be no unwelcome surprises.
