Under the Ruins of the Black Moon Palace.

Nemesis...

It was time... It was finally time...

After years of planing, gathering resources and rebuilding what had once been though of as lost, Esmeraude was now ready to enact her terrible revenge.

Now seated within the "Throne Room" of her new Flagship and dressed in her old Black Moon attire, the former lieutenant of the Prince Diamond looked on as the "Black Moon's Revenge" (The name of her new Flag ship) slowly began to rumble to life. While on the exterior, dozens of Droids chipped away at the surrounding rock walls so as to allow the Revenge to finally escape its prison.

As this was going on, hundreds of droids of various types and designs, were being loaded into her ships which would transport them. Ships were much more advanced than what had been used to attack Crystal Tokyo all those years ago, a nasty surprise for Crystal Tokyo for when she arrived. While dozens of vessels which were hold overs from the last war, were now sitting on the Nemesis' surface. Just waiting for the signal to lift off and begin their attack on Earth.

But of course, the former lieutenant didn't just want to devastate Crystal Tokyo. Oh no, she wanted to hurt Neo Queen Serenity. She wanted the monarch to feel the kind of loss and pain she had felt, as she laid dying outside of the Crystal Palace ten years ago. When she realized that Diamond would never truly love her, when she realized all she had done for him had ultimately lead to nothing.

Serenity needed to pay and Esmeraude knew just how to do it. She already had her minion within the Crystal Palace, waiting for her signal to strike. The former beauty was gonna cripple Serenity long before her real attack began.

Her minion was already on Earth, just waiting for its master to give him the signal to enact her revenge. But of course, Esmeraude could not forget Serenity's current guest or the ship he arrived in. Apparently, Serenity and her Senshi were just as clueless as she was about the "Spartan's" sudden appearance. But she would get her chance to get a closer look at the armor encased giant. She doubted he would even be much of a problem anyway, just what could one "man" do all on his own? Especially against someone like herself, sho now possessed a small but powerful army?

With everything now in place, the former lieutenant grinned wickedly as she mentally sent a command to her new flagship.

Suddenly... The rocky surface of Nemesis began go vibrate and rumble, much to the surprise of the surviving population which resided in the city's ruins. Those who were brave enough to look out the windows of their shanty homes, were met with a sight that would frighten them for the rest of their miserable lives.

A crystalline abomination, both black and blood red in color, could be seen slowly rising into the cloud filled sky. Lightning flashed and thunder clapped, as dozens of smaller crafts flew in formation around the main vessel. They were visible for only a few minutes before vanishing into the thick cloud cover, on their way to a planet still unaware of their existence...

Now despite what everyone in the world believed, Neo-Queen Serenity's Senshi didn't actually live in the Crystal Palace with her.

Even though the Senshi did protect the Royal Family and were usually seen at the palace most of the time, the truth was that the Sailor Senshi actually didnt live there at all. With the Exception of the Asteroid Senshi, the other members of Serenity's court had their own homes outside of the palace.

They did have lives of their own and with their own familes to take care of. Rei and her husband still lived at the Hikawa shrine, which was left to her after her Grand Father had passed away and had been rebuilt after the Black Moon attack. While Makoto and Shinozaki ran a successful bakery in New Juuban and lived in a rather modest but comfortable appartment above it.

Only the Amazoness Quartet lived in the actual palace, and that was only because Serenity insisted on it. They were still Senshi in training after all. But every so often, Serenity and her Friends would have what could be best described as a good old fashioned sleep over. Much like the ones they had back when they were all teens and Serenity was just called Usagi.

But with the arrival of Logan and his ship, the senshi were now found themselves spending the night at the palace in once again. Though this time, it was for a much more serious reason and not to gossip about their respective spouses. Besides, with their families currently in America for safe keeping, none of the women really wanted to be alone. Nor did they want Serenity to be alone if Logan was not what he said he was.

It was also for this reason, that most of the senshi were still awake at this late hour. Other than the Quartet and a certain lanky blond, the rest of the Sailor Senshi were in their individual personal quarters and were either trying to get some sleep, or trying to keep themselves occupied with what ever they could.

Sitting at a desk within her bedroom, Ami continued to go over what scans she had of Logan and the Siege Merciless. Obviously, the Spartan's armor made it difficult to get any form of information about the person inside it. What ever said armor was made of, it was able to resist the scans of not only her computer, but the internal scanners of the palace itself.

The same could have been said about the Siege Merciless, as the orbital sensor array around the planet was unable to get any detailed scans of the massive vessel. Thoughi it did reveal that Logan was telling the truth about one thing...

The Siege Merciless was indeed a warship.

Appart from the thick plates of armor which covered the hull, the vessel itself bristled with looked like AA guns, missile pods, gun turrets and sensor arrays. But the one feature which really stuck out to her, was the "Gun Barrel" like construct that stuck out from the ship's bow. Obviously this was the "Main Weapon" of the warship, but again just what kind of power source did it use?From what she could see, it was most likely a projectile based weapon but much bigger.

All in all, three hours of pouring over what little data she had on Logan and his ship, had not really resulted in anything substantial. Other than the Siege Merciless was a literal fortress. Pinching the ridge of her nose for a bit, Ami then glanced at her watch.

1:04 AM...

It was late, well past her normal bed time. Other than being one of Serenity's protectors, Ami was also the head of Medical Authority of Crystal Tokyo. She basically was incharge of health services with the utopian city and their operations. Despite the current situation, she still had a duty to ensure that the many hospitals and clinics within Crystal Tokyo ran like clockwork and she could not do that if she was half asleep.

Making a mental note to contact Makoto and asking her to make a pot of her special Morning Brew, the Senshi of Mercury got up from her desk and made her way towards the bed chamber. But just as she was about to fall onto her bed, the soft surface suddenly turned black. Ami had little time to react, before she fell into the dark void and vanished. The bed returning to normal and leaving the room, empty.

Siege Merciless

With one final weld, James had completed the modifications to one of the worker drones. The newly installed sensor pod would now allow it to give detailed scans of the Crystal Palace. All the the modified transmitters would allow it to not only relay said scans back to the Heavy Cruiser, but to Logan on the planet's surface. Yet all the while remaining completely undetectable to any/all tracking stations which may have existed on the planet itself. Or at least that was the hope.

"All done!" The Engineer proclaimed, as he finished sealed the last panel on the car sized repair drone. "All modifications have been completed and it is ready to to go."

"Thank you, James." Hanna replied, as she went over the modifications one final time. She was just about to deploy the clandestine drone, when the sensors of the Heavy Cruiser began to pick up something.

Shifting her attention away from the drone, the A.I. soon began to process the information she was now recieving. There was some odd anomoly being detected just beyond the moon itself. Obviously, it did not match any known readings normally associated with a slip space rupture, or anything else for that matter. It was as if it had just suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Stranger still, what ever it was, it was on a trajectory which would bring it towards Earth. Considering what she had both seen and heard over the last couple days, this could have been a natural occurrence in this reality. But then again...

Suddenly, there was a spike in the energy readings and dozens of new targets began to show up on the sensors. This was not natural phenomenon, this was a fleet ships!

"Logan, come in."

[ [ [ [ [ ] ] ] ] ] [ [ [ [ [ [ ] ] ] ] ] ]

Meanwhile, back in the Palace...

If there was one thing the Spartan had to admit, it was that his watchers were rather persistent. As Logan could detect their readings beyond his chamber door.

Despite the late hour, both Uranus and The Amazoness Quartet were still at their self appointed posts in the hallway. All of whom he knew were their because of his presence and were probably waiting for him to "Try Something." while most of the Crystal Palace's occupants were asleep. Specifically the Royal Family and their court. Or at least, that's what they believed.

Obviously, they did have reason to not trust him. As the only reason Logan was watching them, was to see if they would give up and leave. So as to allow him to leave his chambers and"Scout" the crystalline structure he now resided in.

"Logan, come in. We have a situation." Hannah's synthetic voice suddenly chirpped, breaking the super soldier out of his trance like state.

"What is it?" he asked.

"Sensors are picking up fleet of ships approaching the planet."

"A fleet?"

"Affirmative ... Or at least, I don't think so." Hannah replied, as she continued to monitor the the scanners. "The energy readings they were giving off, its like nothing else that's been recorded. So we can rule out Remnant forces."

"Have you contacted the Royal Family, let them know what's going on? Maybe they know something abo-" Logan never here got to finish his sentence. As suddenly, an alarm began to sound within the palace itself and echoed throughout the crystaline structure. A sound which was all too familiar to the Super Soldier, yet so difffirent at the same time.

"Hannah, something's happening." Logan stated, as the Palace alarms continued to wail out. But before he could get an answer, the doors leading into the room slid open to reveal an angry senshi of the wind with her sword in hand.

"What the Hell did you do?!" Uranus growled out, as she stood there with her weapon in hand. Her face showing a mix of both confusion and anger, as her teal eyes glared at the Spartan before her. Who himself was still seated on the floor and now staring at his would be assailant.

"I was about to ask you the same thing." Logan replied, as he got up and began to walk towards the Senshi.

"Get back!" Uranus roared back, as she got into a defensive position with her blade. "Stay where you are and answer my question! What the Hell is going on? What did you do!?"

But before the enraged Senshi could get an answer, a massive explosion rocked the palace itself. Followed by panicked screams and a chorus of voices cry out...

"Asteroid Senshi Power, MAKE UP!"

A flash off color and dazzling lights followed and when it disappeared, the Sailor Quartet now stood before the Outer Senshi and the Super Soldier.

"What the Hell are you doing here?" Uranus scolded the younger women.

"Sorry, Uranus-Sensei." Sailor Ceres said, as she and the rest of the Quartet ran up. "But..."

"Palla Palla wanted to see the Giant Man!" the blue haired Asteroid Senshi blurted out "Palla Palla wanted to see him with her own eyes and Palla Palla's sisters came to try to take her back to bed!"

Uranas scowled, but current events made her focus more on the situation at hand. "We'll talk about this later. But back to you, what the Hell is going on?"

"I told you, I don't know." Logan replied, his voice booming as he spoke. Not wanting to continue this meaningless discussion, he soon switched his attention to the one person he could rely on at that moment. "Hannah..."

"I'm way ahead of you, Gunny." The A.I. replied. "Sensors are now picking up three dozen targets over the city! That thing I detected earlier, it wasn't A ship, it was an entire fleet! I'm picking up multiple targets over the city!"

"Hey, I'm talking to you!" Uranus growled.

"SHUT UP!" The Spartan barked sternly, causing the Quartet to jump and even silencing the aggressive Senshi of the Wind. He then switched his focus back to Hannah and said "How many ships are there?

"I'm counting thirty-six... No... forty large vessels..." She replied, as she could see the "Star" shaped vessels decend upon the planet. Focusing their attack on Crystal Tokyo itself. "I'm sending you the feed now."

Suddenly, a small screen appeared on his HUD. Sure enough, he could see the strange craft above the planet. It was a scene which was all too familiar to the seasoned Super Soldier, though this time it were not Remnant ships who were the aggressors.

Suddenly there was another explosion, this time much closer to the group. The hallway was consumed with smoke a debris, as the Senshi were thrown back by the force. But Logan stood his ground and when the smoke cleared, he soon found himself facing off with the most nightmarish of creations.

The constrct itself has to have been at least twelve feet in height and could have been best described as a skeletal metal spider. Its limbs looked more like sharp blades rather than legs, but while its body resembled a arachnid, its upper torso looked disturbingly humanoid with four arms. But the real nightmare was its ghoulish face with glowing red "eyes". Obviously, who or what ever created this monstrosity, did their very best to make it look as horrifying possible.

"You are one ugly mother fu-" The Spartan began to say, before the creature lunged at him at an impossible speed. Its four arms suddenly morphing into lengthy black blades that matched its body color.

Logan was quick to to dodge the Attack and was equally as quick to recover. Reaching behind his back, the Spartan removed a piece of his armor and held it before him. Suddenly the device activated and a Plasma Sword formed. Although he had initially agreed to come to the palace unarmed, Logan was not foolish enough to leave himself completely defenseless.

The Spider Droid was quick to recover as well, as it quickly turned to face the Super Soldier. But as the creature lunged once again, time seemed to slow down as Logan watched the creature approach with its blade like arms.

Normal time had stopped... Spartan Time began...

Picking herself out from the rubble, Uranus saw the creature quickly approach Logan. But before she knew what was going on, Logan had somehow managed to dodge the attacker with an agility Uranus thought was not possible. Despite his size, the Spartan was able to avoid the attack with ease, before sending Plasma Sword into the creature's body. Or to be more exact, into the area when the Spider Body connected to the human like torso.

The Droid didn't scream tho, though its facial expression at that moment lead on to the idea that it did feel the energy blade dig into its body. But before it could react, Logan decapitated the monstrosity with on swift jerk of the Plasma Sword. The lower half soon running around in a way that mimicked a chicken after it had its head chopped off. While the "upper half" was quick to recover , now using its four bladed arms as its new "legs". It attempted to attack the Spartan by leaping towards him with its new legs pointed towards him. But this was short lived, at Logan ducked out of the way and placed his Plasma sword in its path. The Spider droid was once again sliced in half and this time, it did not get back up.

Uranus for her part, was utterly stunned by what she had just seen. What ever idea she had of soundly defeating Logan, had quickly vanished the moment she saw the Spartan destroy the would be intruder. Even as the Asteroid Senshi were able to regroup and eliminate the lower half of the Droid, the Senshi of the Wind just stood their in a stunned silence as Logan slowly walked up to her and said...

"Now... Answer my question. What the Hell is going on...?"

By now, the entire Palace and the city as a whole, were now well aware of the attack. As dozens of black ships zoomed across the city and fired pulsate black bolts of energy into the metropolis. Massive explosions erupting , as the population tried to seek shelter in the many subway stations and underground parking facilities that existed within Crystal Tokyo. For many, it was as if the events of ten years ago were repeating itself, as the familiar and ominous shapes of Nemesis ships continued to press on their attack.

But if there waa anyone who was both shocked and horrified by this sudden attack, it was Neo-Queen Serenity and her Husband. Both of whom were now in the throne room and were desperately trying to get an idea of the scale of the attack.

On the holographic projector before them, the two Royals could see the familiar black ships that now attacked their city. Videos and images which brought back the memories from ten years ago.

"What's going on, where are the others?" Serenity asked, her voice dripping with confusion and fear as she spoke. "Oh no... Usagi!"

"Stay calm."Endymion tried to reassure his wife. " I'm certain the others have already gotten to Small Lady."

"Ever the optimus, aren't you you Majesty...?" A new voice suddenly echoed throughout the crystaline chamber, followed by a equally as familiar laugh. Both of which the couple had not heard in a very long time... No... It couldn't be...

Suddenly, the holoimages jumped and danced erratically before finally revealing the image of a old woman with gray wrinkled skin and dressed in an outfit a woman her age really should not be wearimg. But her messy, light green hair and brown eyes made it very clear as to just it was attacking them

Esmeraude just smiled wickedly with her wrinkled lips before she said...

"It's nice to see you again, your Majesty...or should I say... Sailor Moon...?"

A/N: So yea... Hell of a hiatus to be on, huh? I really did not expect this chapter to take so long after I deleted the previous one. Why did I delete it? Because I really didn't like it and if I had kept it, it would just drag out the story needlessly. I don't know when the next one will be out, but this story will continue on and hopefully I will not take months to upload it.
