A/N: So yea... I have been busy. Both with work and the fact we had a serious storm come through. But I'm back with another update and I hope you guys like it.

So... on to the story...

Th absence of a crew, or anyone for that matter... made it easy for Esmeraude's minion to easily sneak on board the Siege Merciless undetected. The Shadow like figure easily materialized in the main hanger area of the Heavy Cruiser, before it swiftly glided it's way along corridors and hallways of the massive vessel.

Esmeraude's minion was a being that was far beyond the understandings of known science, as not even the advance internal sensors of the Valiant-class warship were able to successfully detect it. Which made it perfect carry out it's master's wishes with ease. The Being had already captured a number of Serenity's would be protectors and would more than likely captured her daughter and even the so called Asteroid Senshi.

But it's master had another prize she wished him to capture...

The Siege Merciless.

Already the "Alien" vessel had proven to be more than a match for Esmeraude's attack force, as it had swiftly eliminated it's would be assailants with ease. So it would make sense that the former Black Moon Lieutenant would want to claim such a powerful vessel for her own, as such a vessel would be quite the prize indeed.

With the "giant" on the planet below and with no crew to worry about, it should be easy of the Shadow Being to take command of the vessel. All it needed to do was find a terminal of some kind and use it to take control of the ship, should be easy enough. Eventually, the Shadow creature came up what it believed to be the vessel's engine room and with one swift move, it entered with ease. Only to be net with a nasty surprise

For no sooner had it entered the reactor room, Esmeraude's minion shrieked out it pain. As it soon found itself being exposed to massive amounts of radiation being produced by the reactor itself. Needless to say, the Being moved quickly to exit the same way as it had entered. Apparently, it had not found the reactor room but the reactor itself, almost getting itself killed in the process.

Unfortunately for it, it's cries of pain had alerted "Gordon". Who himself was keeping a close watch on the reactor during the battle. Curious to the strange "Noise" he had heard, the Engineer soon floated over to where he had heard it, believing it to be some kind of an mechanical issue. But he did not find anything, as the Shadow Being had managed to escape before being discovered. It didn't know just what "Gordon" was, but it did not want to be discovered just yet.

Eventually, the Shadow creature soon found itself in what seemed to be a storage area for the Cruiser. Inside, were numerous pieces of equipment which were a various states of disassembly and repair. Obviously, who ever had been there before, were forced to leave in a hurry.

Scanning the area, it's red eyes soon fell upon what looked like some kind of "robotic suit". A curious looking thing, the "suit" looked like one of the early prototype droids which had been developed by the Black Moon many years ago. But this one was a bigger and "Bulkier" that what had existed in the past. But as the Shadow examined it more, it soon realized that that this thing was far more complex than what the Black Moon had developed. As well as more advanced.

A wicked plan soon began to form within its mind, or what ever it had. He may not be able to take this ship, but maybe this robotic suit could be used to develop future Droids once victory had been achieved. But as it glided towards the enemy machine, it became careless and failed to realized that entire area was indeed being monitored by the internal scanners. Scanners which were able to detect it's presence for the first time.

Suddenly, a small auto turret appeared from the ceiling and began to track the Shadow creature. Moments later, it opened fire. Unleashing an constant stream of bright yellow bolts of energy, which struck the Shadow being and caused it cry out in pain. It's unnatural shrieking echoed along side the sounds of automated weapons fire, as the Siege Merciless' internal defense continued to fire in the would be intruder.

But despite the onslaught, the Shadow was able to glide towards the suit and in one swift move, enveloped the construct with its mass before seemingly melting into the bulkhead. Vanishing with its new prize in tow...

"So you know what these things are?" Logan asked the new "Sailor Moon", as he and the rest of the Senshi ran through the many hallways of the palace.

"Yes, they are Droids." Moon/Chibiusa replied, "They attacked Crystal Tokyo almost ten years ago! But I thought they were all destroyed! The entire clan was defeated!"

"Well obviously, that is not the case!" Ceres called out, as the group rounded another corner.

By now the battle for Crystal Tokyo had begun to turn in favor of the defenders. Dozens of small fighter craft belonging to the United Earth Defence Forces had begun to engage the Black Moon ships both in the and even on the ground.

But it would still take time for them to reach the Crystal Palace, which was still under siege. Yet despite all that was happening, just where were the Sailor Senshi? Where were Queen Serenity's court? This did not go unnoticed by Chibiusa or the Quartet, they should be here. Maybe they had already secured her Majesty and the King?

Their communicators were not working, so there was no way of knowing just where they were. But right now, Chibiusa's main focus at the moment was to find her mother and make sure she was safe.

"So if this clan was defeated, then who is controlling them?" The Spartan asked.

"I... I don't know." The Pink Haired Senshi of the moon replied, "But we need to find my mother! If the Black Moon has returned, then she is in danger!"

Logan just remained silent at this point and allowed the "princess" to speak. Obviously Serenity and her "Senshi" had a history with this Black Moon clan and from what the young woman had told him, it was not a pleasant one. They were supposed to be gone, but they had seemingly returned to finish what they had started ten years ago. Or at least, that was what he was being lead on to believe.

But just as the group approached the entrance to the throne room, another explosion blew the walls out and with it, the battered and bruised form of Sailor Uranus. Who tumbled across the marble floor like a rag doll, before finally coming to a stop in front of the group.

But the remaining Senshi and the Spartan had little time to digest what had just happened. As more Droids suddenly appeared through the smoke and rubble. But no sooner had they appeared, a bright light suddenly engulfed them all. So bright, that even the polarized visor of his helmet was not enough and he has to physically shield his face from the glare.

But eventually the light faded away to reveal that all the metallic monstrosities had been eliminated. Their charred and motionless bodies now littered what had once been the main throne room of the Royal Palace. But they were not the only things to be revealed by this point.

As Neo-Queen Serenity, now bloodied and bruised herself, awkwardly made her way through the rubble with Endymion. who himself was also quite bruised and bloodied. But to the extent as Uranus was.

Without a second thought, Chibiusa and the Quartet ran towards the king and queen. Just in time to catch Serenity as her husband.

"Mom!" Chibiusa cried, as she held her mother.

"Usagi..." Her Majesty said weakly. "Where's..."

"She's right here!" Sailor Vesta called out, as she and the rest of the quartet attempted to revive the unconscious Senshi of Uranus.

"Oh, this does not look good." Juno commented, as she visually inspected the bloodied Senshi before her. "We need to get her to the medical center! Where's Mercury...? or the others, for that matter?"

Before anyone could reply, another Spider Droid suddenly appeared and began to rush the Royal's and the Asteroid Senshi. But just as quickly as it appeared, an eerie voice could her heard softly saying... "Dead Scream..."

Moments later, a ball of energy crashed into the robotic creature. The force of the Impact was so great, the Droid slammed into the wall before exploding. Sure enough, both Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn appeared with their weapons in hand and ran up to the group. Completely ignoring the Super Soldier in Power Armor, who was trying to figure out just where she and her younger companion came from.

"Your majesties, I'm sorry that I didn't come sooner." Pluto said apologetically, "But it seems that this attack was not just limited to the Space-Time Door. Where are the others?"

"She... She took them." Serenity said in between breaths, as the shock of what had happened slowly began to wear off.

"What?" Who took them?"

"Esmeraude..."

As this was going on, Sailor Saturn had found her "Papa" and began to use her abilities to heal the wounded Senshi of The Wind. In her attempts to protect the Royal Couple, Sailor Uranus had suffered several major wounds about her body. Her Sailor Fuku was now stained with her blood, as her breathing became more and more shallow. Despite this, Saturn was determined to save her adoptive "father".

But while Saturn hoped that her efforts would indeed help, there was one person there who knew the full extent of her injuries.

Using his Armor's built in scanners, Logan was able to see the full extent of Uranus' injuries... and it didn't look good.

The slender blond had suffered injures that should have left her dead. Several broken bones, a fractured skull, internal bleeding... these were wounds Logan had seen before in the past on numerous missions against Remnant forces. And they were usually fatal. But somehow Uranus was still alive, though just barely. Despite his feelings towards the woman, he really didn't want her to die. With the palace taking serious damage in the attack, Logan knew there was only one place where Uranus would be able to get the care she needed.

"Hannah!"

"Gunny! I was just about to call you!" The A.I. replied. "The Enemy fleet has begun to retreat! It seems I was just too much for them!"

"Hannah, we have a medical emergency!" The Spartan explained. "I have one casualty, multiple broken bones and internal bleeding, she needs immediate surgery. Suggest we activate the Emergency Medical Program."

There was pause before the A.I. replied "Understood, I will have everything ready when you arrive."

"We need to get her to the Pelican." Logan suddenly announced, as he carefully lifted the still unconscious Senshi off the floor.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Vesta asked, "She's hurt! you can't just move her!"

"We need to get her to the Siege Merciless." Logan explained. "If not, she will die!"

"Why should we trust you?" Juno all but barked out, still not certain if Logan could be fully trusted.

"Palla Palla Trusts the Space Man!" Pallas blurted out, much to the surprise of her sisters. "Mr. Uranus-Sensei was being mean to Space Man, but Space Man wants to help her! Palla Palla says we should let him help!"

It was not often that the child like Sailor Pallas spoke up, let alone vouched for someone else. But when she did, it was usually a good idea to listen. Right now she was firmly supporting the idea of letting the "Space Man" help the critically wounded Uranus. Even if it meant taking her to his ship to do so.

"Do what you can to help her." Serenity suddenly spoke up, much to the surprise of everyone.

"Mom, are you sure about this?" Chibiusa asked her mother, who herself was quite hurt.

"She's right" the king replied. "Right now it's not safe to treat her here in the palace."

Logan for his part, just stood there with the wounded senshi in his arms. Upon hearing both Serenity and Endymion giving him permission to help Uranus, Logan began to make his way through the maze of corridors and towards the Pelican.

"Hannah, we have an emergency." Logan said sternly, as he navigated his way through the damaged palace. "What's your status?"

"All things considered, surprisingly good." Hanna replied, as the Siege Merciless navigated it's way through the wreckage of its would be attackers. "I guess I was just too much for them, what's the situation?"

"I'm returning to the ship with the one called Sailor Uranus." Logan explained, "Who or what ever attacked did a real number on her, she needs immediate medical treatment."

"Understood, Gunny." the A.I. replied, just as the Super Heavy Cruiser's sensors began to lock on to what she believed to be the flagship of the attacking force. It was bigger than the other ships in the fleet, almost bigger than the Valiant-class cruiser itself. Yet it seemed as if it did not notice that the Siege Merciless had destroyed a number of ships and was now closing in on it. Worse still, it was positioned in such a way over the planet, that the Siege Merciless could use it's main weapon safely.

But just as Hannah was about to get a firing solution on the craft, internal sensors suddenly began to detect someone... or rather something, was now on board the Cruiser. Wait? how did someone get on board? There were no hull breaches, then again nothing got close enough to breach the Cruiser.

Who ever it was, they had managed to activate the internal defense systems. Sure enough, the internal cameras soon caught sight of the shadowing being gliding it's way through the corridor before vanishing into one of the many computer terminals which were normally used the the Cruiser's (Now Absent) crew.

Suddenly, another alert was sounded. As Hannah began to detect someone/something trying to access the main computer core. Thinking quickly, the A.I. began doing what it could to secure the Cruiser's systems and prevent who or what ever it was from accessing any sensitive information.

Fortunately, her efforts had seemingly prevented the intruder from accessing both the main and secondary computer cores. But she soon realized that several files had not only been accessed, but downloaded as well. This was not good, not good at all. But as quickly as the intruder had appeared, it suddenly vanished without a trace. Leaving a very perplexed and worried A.I. to wonder just what had happened.

But her attention was soon turned back towards the large vessel which had been her original target. Fortunately, the intruder had not managed to disable the Siege Merciless' weapons systems and Hanna was able to regain a firing solution.

But just as the Siege Merciless was about to let loose with its main weapon, the enemy flagship began to move away from the planet. Its mass suddenly stretching out into the blackness of space, before vanishing completely. This was an action which was mirrored by the surviving enemy warships, as they soon followed the Black Moon's Revenge.

By now most of the fighting within the city had begun to die down, as elements of the United Earth Defense Forces began to flood into Crystal Tokyo. In the sky, Fighter craft patrolled the skies and hunted down any lingering Black Moon vessels which may have been left behind. The Black Moon forces were retreating, but they were leaving a scene of death and destruction behind.

It may be days before the full extent of the damage may be fully known, but it was clear to see that their would be many funerals and memorials to be held in the near future. Yet in this chaos, The Royal Family and the remaining Senshi had now managed to make it to the gardens where the Drop Ship was located. By some miracle, the Pelican had not been touched during the attack and after making a quick check of the systems, the vessel was ready to take off.

Uranus was still unconscious and was now laying on the floor of the drop ship. As King Endymion, who had been a doctor before his ascension to the throne, was keeping an eye on the wounded senshi and doing what he could to stop her bleeding. Saturn was there as well and was using her ability help heal some of her "Papa's" wounds, but she could only do so much without harming herself in the process.

Despite her protest and those of the Quartet, Chibiusa and the Asteroid Senshi were made to stay behind with Pluto and a now exhausted Sailor Saturn. As Serenity had told them to help in clearing the city of any remaining droids. A decision both Pluto and the Senshi of silence agreed to.

With Logan now at the controls, the Rear ramp closed as the Pelican slowly lifted itself into the air. Before quickly accelerating into the now pre dawn sky and towards the Siege Merciless in orbit. All the while, Serenity remained silent as she sat in her seat. The images of her now captured friends playing over and over in her mind, as she stared on at the motionless form of Uranus laying before her.

Esmeraude was back, she was responsible for all this. She captured her friends, needlessly killed innocent people and all for what? The war ended ten years ago, all the members of the Black Moon Clan were either dead, or had lived out their lives in peace after being purified and reformed. What was she trying to prove? What was she trying to do?

Serenity's thoughts were soon broken as the Pelican glided into the hanger bay and lowered it's ramp. Almost immediately, Henry and Gordon hovered in with a stretcher in tow carefully lifted Uranus onto it, before hastily carrying her to the ship's medical deck. With both Serenity and Endymion following them as the exited the hanger.

Logan, for his part, just remained seated in the cockpit and began to mull over what had just happen/what was going on. In less than a week, He had gone from being a member of the Spartan Corps, to being transported to an Alternate Earth ruled by a King and Queen, to now transporting said King and Queen to his ship in an attempt to save one of their "Protectors".

A protector who had been giving him nothing but shade and wore a miniskirt and high heels for some reason. Maybe it was a good thing he could not contact the UNSC, as the Spartan doubted he would have been able to explain his situation without sounding like a crazy person. They would probably send him to the Basso D. Facility on Cascade the moment he made it back. Which he was not sure if he was even able to do.

He was just about to get up when the worried voice of Hannah suddenly spoke up and said...

"Gunny... we have a Problem..."
