2 more missions outside the walls in 2 months, one of them was very successful, they managed to secure some roads to the open field ,and managed to draw new parts on the map.
Sakura, could proudly say, that she was an essential part in these missions, her senses were on par with Miche's if not better, she managed to know were are the titans easly now, they just radiat something dark, something she can't ignore, and knowing were they are helped saving more lives . Things were going good, except for when she meets with Erwin for theirs study hour, and all the questions he asks her about the outside world, a place she knows nothing about. Over the days She had grown to love the big blond guy, he was one of the smartest people she had ever met , hard working, humble, and gentle when needed. She felt sick every time she has to lie to him. he's been pressing her lately on more informations about the outside world, he knows she's hiding something.
" I'm sorry for pressing you Sakura, the thing is, i'v been looking for evidence that people aren't just within the walls, my whole life, this is important to me, and you are my evidence, I just want to know more about the outside world before we go there, it's an unknown place to us "
His apology was sincere and it made her feel like dying right now .
As soon as Erwin left the Pinkett slammed her forehead to the table and groaned, why can't she just say the truth and be over with it? But they'll think she's crazy.
Someone opend the door "Hey Sakura"
She didn't have to look up to know it's Petra, "Ya?"
"we're going for a ride to the city, wanna come?"
"No"
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing"
"if you say so, I'll be going now, bye"
Sakura dragged herself to bed, she can sleep and pretend everything was alright,
Sleeping makes her feel better, she can close her eyes and dream of konoha, of her friends, smiles, Naruto, and then Madara happened, kaguya, blood, blood everywhere.

30 min later
Levi walked along the hallway, passing by each and every room of his squad, since they were out. It was his opportunity to see how clean they keep the rooms.
He stopped in front of Petra and Sakura's room, the dark haired captain could hear sounds coming from it, someone isn't out?
He knocked the door once, twice, no respond, now the sounds were more like snobbing sounds, and screams! That was his cue to open the door
"I'm coming in" he said 5 min before opening the door.
Levi noticed Sakura on the bed, screaming something he didn't understand, twisting and turning her blankets scattered everywhere.
"Tch, not a pleasant dream, isn't pinky" he muttered before stepping closer to the girl.
"Hey, Sakura, Sakura wake up"
Her face was sweaty, had a painful suffering expression on it, He had no choice but to touch the Pinkett shoulder and try to shake her awake " Sakura, it's a dream, it's just a dream, wake up"
She opened her eyes slowly, and soon as she figured out were she was, she sat up immediately hitting him immediately on the face.
"Captain, I'm so sorry "
"It's fine" he said moving away from her
"You okay?" he asked her
Sakura's eyebrows drew together in confusion " hin? I'm sorry I don't understand, what are you doing in my room anyway?"
He sent her confused look " Are you telling me, you don't remember what were you dreaming about? You were screaming Sakura "
"Oh, i remember the dream, not a pleasant one, I just don't remember screaming"
"Tch, I see" he said and stood to walk out when she spoke again "You didn't tell me what were you doing in my room corporal"
Levi turned and shoot her a glair "was checking if the rooms are clean, yours is decent, but still not as clean as I want it to be"
With that being said he walked out muttering something.
Sakura dragged herself out of the bed to the bathrooms, washed her face and stood there looking at the mirror, who is she now? She wondered. Was she Haruno Sakura a kinoichi of konoha? No, konoha is no more, she can't be part of something that doesn't exist anymore.
Was she a soldier? A soldier of humanity? Not really, not when she's lying to the person who gave her a new chance, to the person who trusted her with his camarades lives. She took a deep breath and walked out of the bathroom.
35 expédition behind the walls
"You're quiet today." Eld kept his gaze ahead of them as they waited for the gates to be open "has the captain ordered you to do more work ?"
The captain? Yesterday was the first time she talks to him privately in months, After the day of the dance, they didn't much interact with each, was he avoiding her? , but why?
"No. I haven't seen much of him lately ." she muttered absently.
"So why are you pouting?" the blond asked.
Sakura smiled at him, he was always so sweet and caring "nothing you should be worried about Eld, thanks for caring though"
He jabbed her with an elbow" someone has to take care of you, or else, you'll end up like captain Levi"
She grinned and elbowed him back" quite he'll hear you, and you'll be working in the kitchen for the next few weeks "
Erwin voice stopped them from continuing the conversation as they started heading toward Wall Maria outer gate.
Sakura wiped her brow on her sleeve as they made their way outside the walls.
It felt weird to enter this endless tract, to canter on unpruned grass. To watch again herbs and trees in the wild, the same as within the Walls, but unlimited in their choice of settling by any high-build stone. They felt as if they were birds that flew above them, not caring about the border of their kingdom. Such a weird and exciting feeling at the same time. More experienced soldiers learned to enjoy those ventures outside, rookies were thrilled to see it for the first time, absorbing every data possible with devotion that could almost match Hange's. But those who were there for the second time had a less positive attitude. They were both happy to experience more of the freedom and terrified of meeting titans again., Sakura wasn't as existed as the rest, she lived most of her life in an open place surrounded by trees and greenery, Konoha was so beautiful, but she enjoyed watching the soldiers reaction to being outside of the walls.
"It's exciting. We're rarely coming this way" one of the soldiers said to her.
"Why is that?" she asked.
"There's less trees on this way," he explained. "Nowhere to spring up than on titan's body"
"Then why are we going this way at all?"
"The commander said that new tactics must be tested in all different settings to prove their effectiveness. Besides, the whole unit is here. It should be alright" he said.
Sakura nodded and advanced to ride beside Gunther and Eld
After 30 minutes of peace they encountered a group of titans, Levi was already tossing himself to the danger he took down the first titan. He did it so effortlessly .As if it was nothing to him, exactly like he did with that abnormal in her first expecdation ."Attack!" Erwin yelled his order and a few Scouts nodded their heads before they sprung up on one of the titans. Three soldiers attacked him, cutting it's skin in coordinated movements. They were fast and effective, but still not as fast as Levi was. While these three were fighting one titan he managed to cut napes of three already, Sakura killed one, she was a distracted by Levi, the man was a force, he was worth all of their squad if not more, she sometimes wondered if he is using Chakra, but that's impossible, there's no chakara in this world, if this man was born in konoha, he'll certainly be classified as genius.
"No more titans on the horizon!" one of the soldiers informed.
"Good, use a green flare" Erwin responded and soon one of the Scouts shot a green flare to the sky. The first danger was overcomed. They saw other green flares from different directions which calmed them a lot. Nothing stood in their way to move further. "Let's explore this area more" Erwin ordered and they continued their ride.
"We should see the plants in here, I'm sure there's some useful herbs that we can't find inside, or are rare to find inside the walls " Sakura said to him when his horse was close to her own.
"Continue" the blond encouraged her to say something more, taking glimpses at her. He couldn't focus on her entirely since they were in enemies' territory. He had to settle for quick looks even though he would like to see her face more. He always wanted to see the face of the person that was talking to him, it helped him read their emotions and thoughts, and especially Sakura, he enjoyed looking at her, she had that smart look in her eyes, combined with her unusual beauty, it made her attractive.
"I have some knowledge in herbs, maybe you don't know, but lot of medicine can be made of herbs, saw that some people are having sleeping problems, I know how to make a drink that would certainly help them, I just need the right herbs, also for injuries scars, relaxation, poison, In fact I saw some important flower in here " she started talking and Erwin chuckled "Don't think we have that much time, but go ahead collect herbs, we will be riding slowly, ask some soldiers to help you, the others will be watching"
Sakura shoot him a smile "That's generous of you Commander"
Petra joind Sakura in collecting some kind of flower the Pinkett showed her
"Oi, Oule. Come over here and help us with collect this flower " Sakura held some kind of a Bleu flower in her hand as she waved at the man.
"No, I'm having my break" oule grunted back, ignoring her.
Sakura quickly walked toward him and urged him to stand and help, she was particularly growling at the man who gave up in 5 minutes "Alright alright, I'll help collecting the damn flower, no need to give me those merdere looks."
"I suppose it's the end of a break for you oule" Erwin chuckled, moving even further from them .
"Yeah, only for me. Great assignment" he rolled his eyes.
"I'll be there to help if you want Sakura ," Erwin shrugged his shoulders. "You know, if you want a different herb and more hands, things seems to be calm for the time being " the blond offerd, surprising her and himself, and even Levi who was watching the horizon few meters away.
"You're very generous with your words today commander " she said and he chuckled in responseSakura grabbed the notebook hanji gave her to take notes, the pencil, and drew something, she show it to Erwin, this one, it has white petals, I believe I saw some growing under the trees, you think you can collect some? "
The blond commander took few minutes to look at the drawing, before nodding.
"Yes, I'll have to take the notebook with me though"
Sakura smiled and handed him the notebook
"one more compliment Sakura" the commander started
" your drawings are very good" he said, pointing at the sketche she made. It was detailed.
" Thank you " she said before moving back to her work.
The expecdation went well, they encountered few titans on the way home but managed to kill them without losing soldiers, some injuries and that's all, with Mike and sakura's abilities they were able to avoid large groups of titans on the way back.
The Pinkett was tired, fighting against the sleep when Erwin approached her, they were riding to the headquarters. Every time the blond approache her she tense, afraid that he'll ask her about her past or the outside world, but to her surprise this past few days he asked her less about her homeland, and today was the exception of all, he didn't even mention it
"Did you draw before?" he asked her .
"No, never" she shook her head.
"Then you're talented"
she blushed . He wanted to tease her a little bit more, but one of the Scouts came their way.
"Commander can I have a word with you?"
Sometimes Levi hates being observant, and good at reading people, this was one of those times. The Pinkett had enough fans to begin with, now Erwin too? He thought the man was in love with his work?

When Erwin called for him, Levi didn't expect to find the Pinkett in there too.
He put himself in front of the Commander. Who sat behind his desk, with paperwork sprawled out. A tapestry behind him largely displayed the 'Wings of freedom.
"Levi" Erwin says. Looking up from his paperwork
"I called you here to inform you of sakura's descovery " he continued.
Levi's frowned "Shouldn't you be talking to Hanji about this? She's the obsessed with the ugly giants"
"No, it's not about titans, you're aware of sakura's ability in sensing titans right?"
Levi nodded, who doesn't know of that, she's famous not only of her pink hair now, but also her ability to sense titans.
"She discovered a way to teach others how to sense titans" added the blond, a smile on his ever serious face.
Levi's dark eyebrow rose as he looked at the Pinkett.
"How did you know that " he asked her
Sakura bit her lip and drew her brows together in a thinking gesture, he hated her gestures, they were so cute, and he hated cute, more than that, he hated the way he notice every single gesture she makes.
"I actually don't know how" muttered the Pinkett.
Levi grunted
"What do you mean you don't know"
"Miche, wanted to know how I feel titans, I tried explaining the feelings, and we tried meditation, then he started feeling them too, not on them rang I can, but he managed"
"Miche senses are already good" the captain pointed out.
"But Levi, he can smell them, not sens them, if he managed to feel them, others may be able to do that too, it will be a huge advantage to the survey Corp"
The captain grunted again before saying "So? Why am I here?" he looked at Erwin
" To inform you that Sakura will be teaching your squad how to sense titans, you included" Explained the commander.
Levi huffed "I don't see any benefit to that"
"That's because you didn't try it yet" it was Sakura who spoke this time, can't take more of the dark haired man attitude, what was wrong with him? She wondered.

As soon as they left Erwin's office Levi muttered "Listen, I'm not doing this sensing thing, do not bother me"
Sakura gasped "What why not?"
"Told you, it's useless, I'm good as I am, I don't need to be able to sense titans or anything"
"It's not usless" she shoot back " learning something new is always useful Mr arrogant"
"Tsk, I have training to do Sakura, if you'r
done, I need to go"
" Why can't you just accept my help ?"
She asked still looking into his gray eyes.
(because I guess I'm physically attracted to you, and I know spending more time with you is dangerous) he wanted to say., but instead he said .
" It's not that simple, you won't understand"
" explain it to me then" she crossed her arms in front of her chest and stood in front of him.
With a serious face Levi leaned forward before murmuring to the Pinkett "I would, but unfortunately I don't have any crayons with me"
Her eyes winded " I'm 17, you know"
" could have fooled me" he spatt.
" remind me how old are you again ?"
" Not as if it's any of your business but I'll be 24 soon "
"24 going on ninety."
"You're deliberately trying to provoke me, aren't you?" he said with a menacing voice
"I'm just saying that you look youngr than your age but you act like an old man. Do you ever relax? "
Levi huffed, this conversation was taking too long, he doesn't usually waste his time, but there you go, the Pinkett have that something about her that makes him want to reply " I don't generally relax, now is that all cause I really need to go " he said.
Her green orbs widened as she said. "wawo you just admitted that you were stick in the mud "
If someone else said anything like that to him, he would be very sorry by now, but coming from her made him laugh.
"Stick in the mud makes absolutely no sense. Who comes up with these ridiculous idioms?" . "And I think you can do better." he added.
" I'd love to do so, but unfortunately You'r my superior "
"glad you remember that" he said
He was about to walk without waiting for respond when she grabbed his hand, okay that was unexpected.
"Tonight at 9, I'll be waiting for you to start our lesson "
She said , looking at his eyes in determination Levi had never seen on anyone but Erwin, or Hanji when it comes to her research.

He wasn't in his room, Sakura knocked the door few times but no answer, where was he? She wondered.
The Pinkett walked to the kitchen, for maybe the captain was making tea? But no, not in there.
frustrated Sakura marched the Corridor few times, but the captain hadn't arrived yet.
Looking at the hour, she decided to go sleep now, tomorrow she'll talk to him.
Next morning she approached him after training "Captain" she said
Giving her his bored look he said "Yes?"
"I assume you forgot we had trainings to do yesterday, you and I, the sensing trainings"
Levi's eyebrows drew closer as he said "correcte me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember agreeing to that"
Sakura raised one eyebrow an took a step closer to him "Those were Erwin's orders" she said.
Levi shrugged "well I don't care, no one forces me to learn something I don't wanna learn"
"But... But.." she wanted to argue but he cut her off "If that's everything Sakura, I'll be on my way".
He took few steps away when she shouted after him "tonight at 9, I'll wait for you captain, surely you don't want to be left behind when all of your squad learn how to sense titans"
He smirked despite himself, this girl was something different for sure, he thought.
For 7 days straight, she comes at 9, knock on his door and wait there for an hour, then go to her room, every morning she'll remind him of the training, How persistent can a person be? He wondered. On day number eight he opened the door for her
"hi" she said casually, and walked passed him, without even waiting for his invitation.
"What do you think yourself doing?" he spatt
"Walking in obviously, we can't start our lessons in the collidors"
Levi's frown deepened "I don't remember accepting the training"
"You did now, by opening the door" she said and took a seat on his sofa.
Levi looked at her in awe, he could kick her out if he wants to, but would that stop her from coming here every night? He guess not.
"Fine" He said with a sight "But we can't do this in my room it's highly inappropriate"
He added.
Sakura blinked twice before realizing his point "Oh, they are sleeping, no one will know about it. And we will be using training outside if few weeks I hope, when the rain stops"
"Hin, so, let's start already"

Two weeks later
Sakura took Levi's hand in her own before he could protest "Try to concentrate on yourself and empty your mind" she muttered.
Her hand was soft, smaller than his, thinner, it made Levi realize that he usually didn't touch people's hands.
He closed his eyes and started concentrating his breaths, hoping to clear his mind but for some reason he found sakura's hand extremely distracting, his mind was hyper focused on her warmth, the feeling, and even the shape of her fingers, it was a simple holding of hands and yet his mind was registering this new sensation, it was maddening.
"captain ? Did you hear me?" the Pinkett said, trying not to sound angry or frustrated with the man, why was he giving her so much trouble? Teaching the others isn't that hard, and Levi is the most talented one, but he isn't even paying attention to what she's saying.
"No. What?" he muttered.
"capitain , there is no point in me teaching you anything if you don't fucking listen to me," she said,
glancing over her shoulder.
"I was listening! You're a terrible teacher!" Levi growled.
"Oh yeah? I'd like to see you teach anyone anything!" she snapped back.
He smirked "Oh? Is that a challenge, woman? Name anything I can do that you can't, and I vow I can teach you."
She got closer, her face basically few inches from his "Not untill you learn this, heck, Petra is able to sense them on 20 meters now, no titan can sneak on her" She said.
Levi huffed "They don't sneak Sakura, they have fucking big legs that makes a lot noise., it's pointless to be able to sense them on close distance"
Sakura put her hands on her hips as she spoke "No it's not, sometimes you are to focused on running or fighting another one, can't hear it, and sometimes there's just too much noise, and some abnormals will sneak on you"
"Whatever, they can't sneak on me" he said.
"That's because you'r fast, imagine how faster you could be if you knew where they are even without looking at them, don't you see the benefits of this? Maybe by time you'll be able to enlarge your sensing range"
"tsk, whatever" he muttered.
" You'r so uncooperative" she huffed
Levi glared at her " For someone who doesn't want your help, what do you expect?"
"Are you always a jerk or am I getting the special treatment in here?"
Levi sighed " you are not dropping this are you?"
She shock her head "Nop, never"
Levi was about to say something when he heard knocking on his door, he opened the door, with a scowl on his face only to be faced by Eld inexplicable expression
"What?"
"Sir, Shiganshina, Shiganshina was breached"
