After waking up in the body of the protagonist of Undertale, the newly named Frisk has some growing up to do. He wants to ensure everyone gets home safely, but how can he do that when he can't even SAVE himself. The first part of this story is set in Undertale.

When Blaze climbs the mountain, he never imagines he'd survive the fall down into Mt. Ebbot, but he did. And now, venturing the Underground, he might just find a home he never thought he'd have.

Papyrus is confused as to why Undyne is so upset about the scars on his hand. It's nothing serious after all! Why is everyone freaking out about it? Everybody has a way of coping with things, his coping just happens to involve scratching, what's wrong with that? According to his friends and family, a lot of things are wrong with that.

Frisk never speaks, nobody knows the true reason why, and nobody questions it. But what if she could express herself without uttering a single word? She gets a notebook from Papyrus that she could use to speak in. Using her poor writing, she explains to her skeleton friends the true reason she never uses her voice.

Flowey told him to do it, it's his fault! He would never actually hurt himself! Papyrus thought as he made another cut. The room felt distant as if he was watching it from somebody else's perspective. He wanted to stop, to just throw the glass shard away, To tell his brother about what's been bothering him. But he couldn't, he was too ashamed.

Now that monsters have gone to the surface, Frisk is busy trying to maintain peace between Humans and Monsters, who aren't getting along peacefully. But that all goes out the window when Frisk is given a mission: To save the other children who died in the Underground. To complete this mission, Frisk must go on a journey across time to resurrect the fallen children... AO3/WP/DA also
