Chapter 6: We Are United
All Dean could see was darkness but he could tell that he was standing on his feet, and he could hear explosions and felt the space around him shaking. He then heard a faint and familiar voice.
"De…an…Dean…Dean!"
Dean, in his Ranger form, woke up as he raised his head and his eyes shot open from beneath his helmet.
He looked around and saw he was in a large and familiar cockpit and saw damages in the cockpit. Sparks explosions appeared on the walls along with some flames, and parts began falling out from the walls and ceiling.
"What the…Isn't this?" Dean said as this felt familiar to him and heard the voice again.
"Dean!"
Dean turned to his right and saw two of his Ranger teammates were standing beside on their respective platforms, he then turned to his left and saw the other two members of his team.
"What's wrong? You space out for a moment there." One of his teammates said.
"It's…It's nothing." Dean answered before they all felt the cockpit shaking and even more sparks appeared from the walls and parts from the ceiling started to fall.
They looked at the monitor and saw several giant robots attacking them.
"Dammit! There's even more of them!" Another of his teammates said.
Then the giant robots begin attacking the Megazord with laser blasts, and the Megazord stumbles back as sparks of explosion appear in front of its body.
The Nexus Rangers stumble on their platforms as they try to keep their balance as the Megazord's cockpit is shaking.
"This isn't looking good!" One of them said.
The Red Ranger then turns to one of his teammates.
"Shin, what's our status?!"
The said Ranger knelt down to his Morpher to check the status of the Megazord and saw that all systems were going critical as the screen turned red along with an 'System Alert' signal appearing on it.
"Not good…All systems are critical! The Megazord will explode at this rate!" Shin told his teammates.
"That's not good." One of them said.
"Dean, what should we do?" Another asked the Red Ranger.
Dean thought about it before he knew what he had to do.
"No choice. I'll have the Megazord charge at them while you guys eject before it explodes." Dean told them before his teammates turned to him.
"But if you do that, you won't have a chance to escape." One of them said.
"Maybe. But it will give you guys a chance to stop Embryo. I'm counting on you." Dean said.
Then the four Rangers looked at each other before they nodded.
"I was afraid you were going to say that." Shin said before he pressed on his Morpher's screen.
Then suddenly a pod appeared around Dean which was a surprise to him.
"What the…? Guys, what are you doing?!" Dean asked as he placed his hands on the pod's walls.
"Doing the opposite of your plan. We control the Megazord while you go and stop Embryo." Shin told him.
"What?! No! I won't let you do this!" Dean said as he punched on the pod's walls.
"Sorry, Dean, but we all agree this is our best option. You're our best chance to stop Embryo, besides even if we're gone, we know you'll keep the Earth safe." One of them said.
"Claire…" Dean said.
The cockpit soon shook once again as the enemy robots attacked the Megazord.
"Guess there's no time to say our goodbyes. It's up to you now, Dean, we're counting on you." Shin said before he pressed some buttons on his Morpher to prepare the pod to eject.
"Guys, no!" Dean said before the pod ejected, forcing the Red Ranger to leave his friends behind.
The pod soon jumps out of the Megazord before it lands in the hangar that was built inside a building.
The pod's door opens and Dean falls out of it as he lands on his hands and knees.
"I made it…But the Megazord…" Dean said as he turned to the Megazord.
The Megazord was seen charging at the enemy robots as they fired laser blasts at it, but it didn't stop as the Megazord soon grabbed onto two of them and pushed them back to the middle of the army that was in front of it.
Then the Megazord exploded and the explosion was big enough to take the enemy robots with it along with the other Nexus Rangers.
Dean's eyes widened in horror to see the Megazord exploding as his friends were still inside and tears began to fall from his eyes.
"No…NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!"
Dean woke up as his eyes shot opened, the Red Ranger then took a moment to pant as sweat covered his body.
He then placed a hand on his head before he sat up, he then looked at the room around him and saw that it wasn't his usual room in the base, but a room in the temple.
"Oh, right. I spent the night here after that battle…" Dean mutters to himself.
The Red Ranger then looks down at the blanket and quickly lifts it up to see if any of the women here had sneaked into his bed while he was asleep, thankfully there was no one on the bed besides him. Dean sighed in relief.
"Thank goodness…" Dean mutters to himself before he stands up and walks to the balcony door and opens them.
Dean soon walked onto the balcony and saw it was morning as the sun was rising, he then noticed something flying above him and saw it was a group of Aura's Children in DRAGON form flying to the west.
No matter how many times he sees this in person or in camera, Dean can't help but be amazed by their DRAGON form.
"Man…It's almost like I'm living in a fairy tale." Dean said out loud.
Dean then heard a knock on the door, he turned to it and saw it was Salamandinay as she opened the door and entered the room.
"Oh, you're awake." Salamandinay said before she walked to the balcony. "I presume that you're feeling better now?"
"Yeah, a bit." Dean nodded before he looked at the town.
Salamandinay noticed the look in the Red Ranger's eyes and could tell there was a bit of sadness within them.
"Is something wrong?" Salamandinay asked. "You look troubled."
"Oh, no, I'm fine. It's just, you really did make a nice place here. I wish my friends were here to see this." Dean said.
"You mean the members of your team, correct?" Salamandinay asked, and Dean nodded before he leaned on the balcony.
"Yeah. Sometimes I wonder how they'll react when they see this. How not everything was last after what happened 500 years ago. It really makes me wish they were still alive to see this." Dean said.
Dean then felt a hand on top of his hand, he soon stood up and saw it was Salamandinay's hand.
"Well, I may not know them personally, but I'm sure they're at peace knowing that you're still alive. I think that's more than enough for them." Salamandinay told him.
Dean blushes for a bit before he turns away from the DRAGON Princess.
"R-Right, of course. I guess you do make a good point there." Dean said before he nervously chuckles.
Both Dean and Salamandinay then heard the former's stomach growling before they looked down at it. Dean's face turned redder to hear that while Salamandinay chuckled.
"Oh my you seem to be in need of some food. How about you eat here for today?" Salamandinay said.
"Yeah…That would be nice, thank you." Dean said.
Dean then left the room with Salamandinay to go with the dining room.
'Here's hoping nothing goes wrong today. I could use the peace and quiet for a while.' Dean thought.
(Meanwhile)
In the Kaiser Sphere, Prince Crimson, without his cloak, was training in his own personal training room to fight against some Xedroids for combat training.
The Xedroids surrounded the prince as he was standing still.
Then one of the droids charges at Prince Crimson to attack, but the prince lands the first hit by punching the Xedroid in the face.
Then another Xedroid attacks the prince by slashing at two times, and Prince Crimson dodges its attacks and counters by landing a reverse spin kick on its head sending the Xedroid to the ground.
Then two Xedroids attack at Crimson's left and right at the same time, the prince dodges their attacks and lands a punch on the Xedroid on his left and kicks the one on his right.
Prince Crimson then begins attacking the Xedroids with powerful punches and kicks.
As Prince Crimson was fighting the Xedroids, he thought back on how the Red Nexus Ranger had defeated Commander Snider, Volcanic, and Frost the first time and even how he had defeated after the commanders were brought back as giants.
In his rage of remembering those moments, Prince Crimson roared as he unleashed a burst of red and black energy that destroyed the remaining Xedroids around him.
When the burst of energy died down, Prince Crimson took a moment to breathe as he inhaled and exhaled. He then heard someone clapping close to the door, he turned and saw it was coming from General Swartz as he had been watching the Prince's training.
"Swartz." Prince Crimson said before the general stops clapping.
"An impressive show, Your Highness. Your skills are unparalleled as always." Swartz told the prince, but Prince Crimson huffed before he moved to the wall where his cloak was hanging on.
"Please, I don't need you to tell me the obvious." Prince Crimson said before he grabs onto his cloak and puts it on.
"Of course, my apologies. But if I may be so bold, I can't help but notice that there was some frustration in your attacks." General Swartz said.
"There you go again with that sharp eye of yours." Prince Crimson said.
"Your Highness, I understand your reason. But at times like this, you must remain calm and focus." He told the prince.
But Prince Crimson glares at General Swartz before he moves towards him.
"Then tell me this?! How is it possible that not one but three of our top commanders were defeated by one Ranger?!" Prince Crimson asked in pure rage and frustration.
"I'll admit, this Ranger is indeed posing a problem. But we still have the full might of the Kaiser Sphere, it will only be a matter of time-" General Swartz said but before he could finish, Prince Crimson fired an energy blast on the wall beside him as it exploded.
Swartz looks at the damaged wall before he turns back to the prince who was now standing in front of him.
"I don't want excuses! I want results…and I want them now!" Prince Crimson said as he grabbed onto Swartz's collar and pulled him close to his face.
Before Swartz had a chance to speak, a Xedroid soon appeared before he and the prince turned to it.
"What do you want?!" Prince Crimson exclaimed.
The Xedroid flinched before it raised its hand and showed a small device with the other hand. Then the holographic screen appeared above the device and appearing on it was Cyber.
"Greetings, Your Highness." Cyber said before he saw Prince Crimson was holding Swartz by the collar. "Oh, my apologies. Am I interrupting something?"
Prince Crimson huffed before he let go of Swartz's collar and the general took a moment to roll his neck a bit as he and the prince turned to Cyber.
"What is it, Cyber? And why are you using the long-range transmission?" Prince Crimson asked.
"Well, you might find this surprising, but…"
Cyber was on the Earth's surface as he was standing in the forest that had a large mountain in the middle of it.
The scientist was leading an excavation with several Xedroids as the said droids were using digging equipment to dig into the face of the mountain and Cyber was using a large drill to dig into it as he was speaking with Prince Crimson and General Swartz.
"What? You're on the surface right now?" Prince Crimson asked.
"Yes, indeed I am." Cyber nodded.
"That's quite unusual of you. You mostly prefer to let others do your dirty work. Why the sudden change?" General Swartz asked.
Cyber then looks at the mountain that he and his team were digging into, he uses his cybernetic eyes to scan what was inside and sees there was a large amount of energy beneath the rock of the mountain.
"Something that might prove useful for us." Cyber said.
(Play: Believe in Nexus by Masaaki Endoh)
(Instrumental) (As the song starts, two Earths appear one at a time before they collide against each other creating a flash of light which blinded the screen.)
(Sono te nobashi te mabayui ashita o tsukamitore! Mugen no sora hamatake Believe in Nexus!) (Five of the Nexus Zords had appeared as the Racer, Wolf, and Dozer Zords were racing on a large road while the Chopper and Falcon Zords were flying above them before they turned into a flash of light and flew into the vast open sky before the story's title appeared on screen.)
(Araburu kono shoudo daremino tomiranai!) (The Nexus Rangers were standing on a hill as they looked at the town where the Children of Aura resides as some of them in DRAGON form flew above them as they watched them in awe.)
(Hiri asa mi kirikou o taka maru kono Heart Beat!) (Then it changes to a split screen with Salamandinay looking at her Enryugo as it was still incomplete, and Ange who was in her room in Arzenal as she was seated on her bed while looking at her ring, before it changes to Embryo and behind him was a man hidden in darkness holding a Morpher in his hand.)
(Bi chinai sou o natato sekawaerai!) (Then it changes showing an army of Xedroids and behind them were Prince Crimson, General Swartz, and Cyber.)
(Koko de oarasatakunai Go For It!) (Next the screen changes to the Rangers commencing their Morphin Sequence as they Morph into their suits before their helmets appeared.)
(Tachiagare kodoku ni obiekuru e naide!) (The screen changes showing a fleet of Xe-Fighters and an army of Xe-Bots charging forward to attack, then changes to the Nexus Rangers loading their Zord Cards into their Morphers as they soon appear, and the Rangers jump into them.)
(Nakama ma batte irukoto mou ichido omoidase!) (In his cockpit, the Nexus Red Ranger inserts his Battle Mode Card into his Morpher and his Racer Zord changes into the said mode.)
(Kowaku wa naisa akirame wa shinai donna tsugoi yatsu ni mo make wa shinai itsudatte o kino yuuki de Believe In Nexus!) (Then each of the Nexus Zord launch respective attacks on their enemies before the Kaiser Sphere in the sky. Then the Zords combine forming the Nexus Prime Megazord, and then energy appears around the Megazord before it flies at the Kaiser Sphere to attack and when it collides against the Sphere a large flash of light appears blinding the screen. Then it changes to both Earths before the Nexus Rangers along with the villain leaders appeared as they faced each other.)
Dean along with Salamandinay, Naga, and Kaname were seated in the dining room. Dean was gulping down the food that was placed on the table and he had gotten a large amount of it which amazed Salamandinay's group as they continued to watch.
"My…You're certainly a big eater." Salamandinay said.
"Well, what did you expect? I didn't have dinner yesterday after that battle. I need to keep up my energy!" Dean said as he continued to eat the food.
But then suddenly some of his food got stuck in his throat as he began to pound on his chest before Kaname gave him some water.
"Here." Kaname said and Dean took the cup and instantly drank it to wash down the food in his neck.
After that, Dean breathes out.
"Thank you." Dean said, and Salamandinay chuckles.
"Maybe next time, you shouldn't talk while you are eating fast." She told the Red Ranger.
"Yeah, I guess that's true." Dean said before he went back to eating.
After eating over several more bowls, Dean leans back as he sighed with a smile on his face.
"Man…that was some good food. And I usually watch what I eat." Dean said.
"Well, I'm glad to hear that the food is to your liking." Salamandinay said.
"Yeah. In fact I'm surprised at how similar it is to the food in my own time. Especially with the meat and fish, and here I thought that you people were vegetarians." Dean said, and Salamandinay chuckles to hear that.
"Well, you might find this surprising, but we often hunt as a hobby. Of course, we also respect wildlife as well." Salamandinay told him.
"I see." Dean said before he and Salamandinay chuckled together.
Seeing that causes Naga to pout while Kaname rubs on her shoulder.
"In any case, will you be returning to your base now?" Salamandinay asked.
Dean hummed as he rolled his eyes.
"Actually, I was thinking of visiting the town today. I want to see it with my own eyes instead of from the cameras." Dean said.
Salamandinay smiled before she nodded.
"Alright. I suppose we can do that." Salamandinay said.
Cyber along with his excavation team continues to dig into the mountain, Cyber took a moment to stop the drill before scanning the rock with his eyes to see the energy source and he was close to digging his way through to find it.
"Perfect. It will only be a matter of time until I find it." Cyber said before he saw Swartz had appeared by teleporting to the ground. "Oh, General, I'm pleased you are able to join us."
"Spare me your modesty, Cyber. I'm only here on the prince's orders." Swartz said as he walked to Cyber and turned to the mountain. "How's the excavation coming along?"
"It's a slow and steady process. But if we keep this up, we'll be able to discover what's beneath all this rock." Cyber said.
"I hope you're absolutely sure about this, Cyber. Don't forget, Prince Crimson is trusting you, and you know he's deeply frustrated right now." Swartz warned him before they remembered their conversation with the prince.
(Flashback)
Prince Crimson and General Swartz were in the command room, the prince was seated on his throne while Swartz was standing by his side as Cyber was speaking to them through the large screen.
"You discovered an unknown energy source?" Prince Crimson said, and Cyber nodded.
"That's correct. I have yet to identify what it is, but I can tell that it is rich in power." Cyber told him, and the prince was deeply interested in that.
"Is it possible to control it though?" Prince Crimson asked.
"It will take me some time to study it and see how it works, but yes. In fact, I can confidently say by the time I'm done with it, we can finally destroy that pesky Ranger for good." Cyber promised the prince.
Prince Crimson was deeply intrigued by that before he nodded.
"Very well, Cyber. Then I'll allow you to continue, but just to be safe, I'm sending General Swartz to join you." Prince Crimson told him.
While Cyber didn't like the idea of working with Swartz, he bowed to the prince.
"Very well. If that is your wish, sir." Cyber said before he ended the transmission.
"Are you sure this is wise, Your Highness? Cyber may be a brilliant scientist, but he's not right all the time." Swartz said and Prince Crimson gave him a warning glare.
"Are you sure you should be questioning me, General?" Prince Crimson asked.
Swartz flinched before he bowed his head.
"No…Of course not. Forgive me." General Swartz said, and Prince Crimson huffed.
"In truth, I could hardly care if he's right or not. If this energy can help us then it's all the more reason we must obtain it." Prince Crimson said.
(End of flashback)
Cyber cockingly huffed before he went back into drilling his way into the mountain.
"Relax, Swartz, by the time I bring this energy source back to the prince, he'll be back in a good mood before you know it." Cyber told him.
Swartz huffed before he folded his arms.
"For your sake, you better be right about this." He told the scientist.
Unknown to the top officers of the Kaiser Sphere, is that Pixel's spy cams were secretly watching their excavation.
In the base, Pixel was watching the footage of the Kaiser Empire's excavation on the computer.
"Oh boy. This can't be good." Pixel said.
Dean along with Salamandinay, Naga, and Kaname were walking in the town together. But as they were walking though, most of the townspeople were staring at Dean and Salamandinay, but their sets were mostly on Dean for many reasons.
"Oh wow…It's Lady Salamandinay!"
"It really is her!"
"But wait…Isn't that the man she found?"
"It must be. He's that red warrior who saved us when those invaders attacked."
"Not to mention, he pilots that large machine and fought against that giant monster yesterday."
"But let's not forget the most important fact…" One of them said before she and her friends said this together.
"He's so handsome!"
"I'm so jealous that Lady Salamandinay spent so much time with him."
"Yeah! We should get a chance to interact with him."
"And better yet…Maybe we should ask him if we can spend the night together." One of them whispers with a blush on her face.
"Oh, yes, we should do that!" They all said in agreement.
Dean could feel their stares and hear gossip, and felt a little uncomfortable about this now.
"Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all…" Dean mutters, and Salamandinay eyed the gossiping townspeople before she chuckles.
"Don't worry, I'm sure their excitement will calm down. Eventually." Salamandinay told him.
"Yeah…I'm not so sure about that." Dean said.
"Ummm…"
Dean, Salamandinay, and the others stop as they see a group of children standing in front of them.
"What is it, little ones?" Salamandinay asked.
One of the children slowly moved in front of Dean and the DRAGON Princess, and they recognized her.
"Wait…Isn't she…?" Dean said before Salamandinay whispered to his ear.
"Yes, she's the girl you saved along with me."
"Oh, right." Dean said before he turned back to the girl. "Is there something I can do for you?"
The girl was a little nervous before she turned to her friends who encouraged her, she nodded and turned back to Dean to offer him a flower.
"Here…This is thanks…for saving me and Lady Salamandinay." She said.
Dean blinks before he smiles and knelt down to accept the flower, and pets the girl's head.
"You're very welcome, and thanks for the flower. I'll take good care of this." Dean said.
The girl smiles before she turns and runs back towards her friends and begins to talk with each other.
Dean stood up before he noticed Salamandinay giving him a sly look and smile.
"Well, you're quite the smooth talker. Are you perhaps…" Salamandinay said.
"Please stop right there before you give everyone the wrong idea." Dean told her, and Salamandinay chuckled.
"I was only teasing you. There's no reason to take it seriously." Salamandinay said.
"Somehow I doubt that." Dean said before he slightly chuckles.
Naga narrowed her eyes at them while Kaname rubs on her back.
Dean then heard his Morpher ringing, he looked at it before he pressed the call button and Pixel appeared on the screen.
"Pixel, is something wrong?" Dean asked.
"Sorry to say on your time off Dean, but it's the Kaiser Empire. They were sighted." Pixel said, and they were worried to hear that.
"Just great." Dean said.
"Are they going to attack the town again?" Salamandinay asked, but Pixel shook her head.
"No. Strangely they're nowhere near the town and are in an isolated area in the forests." Pixel told them which confused Dean, Salamandinay, and the others.
"What? But why?" Dean asked.
"It's probably best that you come here, so I could show you." Pixel said.
"Alright, we're on our way." Dean said before he along with Salamandinay's group pressed a button on their devices to teleport to the base.
After arriving at the base, Dean, Salamandinay, Naga, and Kaname were standing in front of the computer as Pixel was showing them live footage of the Kaiser Sphere digging into the mountain base.
"As you can see they have been digging into that mountain for a while." Pixel told them.
"But why though? What could be inside that would be valuable to them?" Salamandinay asked.
"I had the same time. That's when I did a scan around that mountain." Pixel said before she changed the screen to bring out a digital diagram of the mountain and two red dots appeared in the natural cave systems within the mountain. "I detected two faint energy sources inside."
"Energy?" Salamandinay said.
"What kind of energy is it?" Dean asked, and Pixel shook her head.
"I'm not sure. But if they're going through the trouble of digging it out, it can't be good." Pixel said.
"Right." Dean nodded in agreement. "Okay, I'm going there to get a closer look at what's going on. Pixel, you keep me up to date for any changes."
"You got it." Pixel nodded.
"Good. Oh, but also…" Dean said before he gave Pixel the flower he was given. "Be sure to find a vase for this."
"Okay?" Pixel said before she held the flower in her hands.
Dean then headed to the transporter, and Salamandinay followed him.
"It would be dangerous to go alone. If you want I can come with you and bring a large force with me." Salamandinay said and Dean shook his head.
"No, it's too risky. This is a stealth mission, a large group will be more likely to be spotted." Dean told her.
"I'll admit that's true, but still…" Salamandinay said.
"Don't worry. I'll be fine, I've done these kinds of things over dozens of times." Dean said as he steps onto the transporter and teleports to a close location to the Kaiser Empire's excavation sight.
"I wish you luck then." Salamandinay said.
At the excavation site, Cyber continues to dig into the mountain while Swartz is growing impatient as he taps his finger on his arm.
"Just how long is this going to take?" Swartz asked and Cyber raised his finger at him.
"Patients, General, a job like this acquires a slow and delicate touch. And I'm almost there now." Cyber said, and Swartz huffed to hear that.
Dean soon arrives as he hides behind the trees and bushes, he then brings a pair of high-tech binoculars and uses them to zoom in to the Xedroids in the area and to Swartz and Cyber.
"I guess those two must be the ones in charge here." Dean said before he looks at the drilling machine and notices they were close to digging into the natural cave systems to find that energy source. "That's not good. They're almost there now."
"And…There!" Cyber said as the final layer of rock broke apart and he made the drilling machine move back to show the cave they had made.
"I just had to jinx it." Dean said before he uses his Morpher to contact Pixel. "Pix, bad news, they just made their entrance."
In the base, Pixel was typing on her holographic keyboard, and they were watching the same thing with the spycams.
"Yeah, I know. But thanks to that, I'll have a more accurate scan on that energy source." Pixel said before she scans the energy source and saw it was a massive amount of energy, not only that, but it was also something she was very familiar with. "Wait…This is…This can't be right."
"Is something wrong?" Salamandinay asked.
Both Cyber and Swartz step off of the drilling machine as some of the Xedroids gathered towards them as they were ready to enter the cave.
"Pix! They're about to enter the cave, should I engage?" Dean asked quietly.
"Dean…these readings…" Pixel said.
"What about them?" Dean asked.
"If…I'm reading them correctly, that energy source…It's Morphin Grid energy!" Pixel told him which shocked Dean.
"What?!" Dean said in shock and loudly.
That's when he saw a Xedroid turning towards him as it heard him, then it charges at Dean to attack, but Dean dodges it and grabs onto the Xedroid's arms to throw it to the ground.
Dean then spotted a few more Xedroids appearing before him as they were ready to fight.
"So much for being stealthy. Access the Morphin Grid!" Dean said as he uses his Morpher to Morph into his Ranger form and assumes his combat stance.
Then the Red Ranger and the Xedroids charge at each other to battle.
Just as Swartz and Cyber were about to enter the cave, they heard the sounds of battle behind them as they soon turned around and saw the Red Ranger as he fought against the Xedroids.
"The Red Ranger here?" Cyber said in shock.
"Dammit. Why now of all times." Swartz said before he turned to the scientist. "Cyber, you go on ahead. I'll handle him."
"No need to tell me." Cyber said before he and some Xedroids entered the cave.
Just as Dean kicks one Xedroid to the ground, he sees Cyber entering the cave.
"Stop!" Dean said as he was about to follow Cyber, but a dark energy slash appeared on the ground in front of him, creating some sparks and Dean was forced to stop.
Dean then saw Swartz armed with his sword approaching him.
"That's as far as you go, Red Ranger." Swartz declared before he stopped.
"And who are you supposed to be? Dark Crescent Mask?" Dean asked.
Swartz clicks his tongue in annoyance.
"Impudence…I am General Swartz! The chief of staff of the Kaiser Empire's military." Swartz told him.
"So you're the leader here?" Dean asked.
"More or less." Swartz said.
"Then I should tell you this, I can't let you take what's inside that cave." Dean said and General Swartz turned to it before turning back to the Red Ranger.
"If you're that worried about what we'll find, then it's even more reason we must take it!" Swartz said before he charged Dean to attack.
"Fine! Guess we're doing this the hard way! Nexus Blaster!" Dean said as he pulled out his Blaster and fired at Swartz with it.
General Swartz manages to deflect his energy shots with his sword and swings his sword down at Dean, the Red Ranger dodges it by flipping backwards and fires at Swartz once again but the general blocks it with his sword once again.
Dean was about to move towards the cave, but Swartz stops him by slashing his sword at the Red Ranger and he dodges his attacks before Dean blocks once slash with the blade of his Nexus Blaster and moved past Swartz which created sparks between their weapons as they skid against each other.
Dean manages to move past Swartz and is about to run towards the cave, but General Swartz stops him by grabbing onto ankle with the hook edge of his sword and pulling on it which forces Dean to fall forward on the ground.
Just as Dean was about to sit up, he saw Swartz swinging his sword down at him and the Red Ranger dodges it by rolling on the ground and continues to roll to avoid several more of Swartz's attack before he stops on his back and timely redirected Swartz's next attack by pushing his arm using his foot.
Swartz was surprised by this before Dean used his chance to fire in front of the general, landing some clean hits on him which forced Swartz to stumble away from the Red Ranger as he stood up.
"Nice try." Dean said as he spun his Blaster and Swartz glares at him.
"Damn you…!" Swartz said.
Dean turned to the cave and Swartz moved in front of him to block his way.
"You should know I won't let you pass that easily." Swartz said and assumed his stance.
Dean huffed as he holsters his Blaster.
"Then I guess I'll have to kick your butt and deal with your partner after." Dean said before pulls out a Legendary Ranger Card from his card holder, and it was the Red Samurai Ranger.
"Load Legendary Ranger Card! Samurai! Go, Go, Samurai!" Dean said as he loaded the Card into his Morpher and pressed the button to transform into the Red Samurai Ranger before he pulled out his Spin Sword and assumed his stance with it.
Then both Dean and General Swartz engage in a sword fight as they clash blades.
Cyber along with Xedroids that followed him were walking in the cave as they looked for the energy source.
Cyber uses his eyes to see through the walls and sees that the energy source is now close.
"This way." Cyber tells them as he walks forward and the Xedroids follow him.
Cyber and the Xedroids stop as they finally found the energy source, and saw it was coming from two pods filled with blue and Pink energy.
"Pods?" Cyber said before he used his eyes to scan what was inside the pods and saw there were lifeforms inside. "Two lifeforms? Interesting. You two."
Two Xedroids turn to the scientist.
"Get those pods open now!" Cyber ordered.
The two Xedroids nodded and moved towards the pods to open them.
"Now, how would we use you?" Cyber said.
Back outside, General Swartz was able to push Dean back despite using the Red Samurai Ranger's swordsmanship before the Red Ranger blocked Swartz's next attack bringing their weapons in a bladed lock.
'Damn…He's good! Despite using Samurai's sword skills, I'm being pushed back.' Dean thought.
"What's wrong? Is that truly all you've got? Because, I haven't even broken a sweat!" Swartz declared before he brought the hook edge of his sword between the Red Ranger's Spin Sword and managed to pull it out of his hands and used that chance to slash Dean on the chest which sends him rolling on the ground as he reverts to his base form.
As Dean slowly begins to stand back up, Swartz looks at him as he rests his sword on his shoulder.
"You know, I've been curious about this for a while. Why are you the only Ranger here?" Swartz asked and Dean flinched. "I heard rumors about you. They say that Rangers often work as groups to defend their worlds, but strangely you're the only one that continues to stand against us. Why is that? Did they abandon you or did they die?"
When Dean stood up on his knee and foot he lowered his head, but that gave Swartz the answer he needed.
"I see, so it's the latter. That's pretty admirable of you, continuing the fight despite the loss of your comrades. But it's the end, it's pointless, you could never stop the Kaiser Empire by yourself. Why don't you just give up the fight and surrender?" Swartz said.
Dean clenched his hand on the ground and raised his head in front of the general of the Kaiser Empire.
"It's true…"
Inside the cave, the two Xedroids continue to force the pods' doors to open and the doors slightly open.
"My friends may not be with me…But…"
The Xedroids manage to fully force the pods to open.
"Finally! Now we can…" Cyber said before the energy inside the pods gives off a bright light which forces the scientist and the Xedroids to shield their eyes.
Cyber manages to peek through his hand and sees the two life forms that were inside step out of the pods, and that's when Cyber saw their appearance and he was shocked to see what was inside.
"It…can't be!"
"We'll always be united!" Dean shouted as he refused to give up.
Swartz huffed to hear that before he raised his sword with both of his hands.
"Fine. Then I'll have you join them!" Swartz said as he channeled dark energy around his sword and Dean stood up but it was too late to stop it as Swartz was ready to unleash his attack. "Dark Crescent-!"
Then in that moment, a burst of blue and pink light appeared from the cave getting both Dean and Swartz's attention as the latter stopped his attempted attack.
Then suddenly several of the Xedroids flew out of the cave before Cyber himself was thrown out of the cave and rolled on the ground.
"Cyber!" Swartz said as he rushed to the scientist and knelt to him to help Cyber stand up. "What happened?"
"Swartz…You won't believe it. The energy source, it was coming from…" Cyber said before he along with Swartz and Dean heard footsteps from inside the cave and they were coming closer step by step.
Then the footsteps belong to two people as they emerge from the cave. Swartz was shocked to see them and Dean was also shocked as his eyes widened underneath his helmet.
"Impossible!" Swartz said.
"No way…" Dean mutters as he couldn't believe it himself.
In the base, Pixel, Salamandinay, Naga, and Kaname had also seen who appeared out of the cave using the computer, and they were shocked to see them as Pixel placed her hands over her mouth as she was overjoyed.
"I…I can't believe it." Pixel said, if she was human she would shed tears of joy right now.
Walking out of the cave was a Blue and Pink Power Ranger.
They were wearing the same Ranger suits as Dean was, the only difference they had were their helmets, buckles, and the case around their Morphers.
For the Blue Ranger, his helmet resembles a wolf's head with fangs on the mouthpiece with small ears on the top along with orange eyes, and the visor had sharp edges on the top. The case around his Morpher was based around a wolf's head and the buckle on his base was also based around a wolf.
The Pink Ranger was wearing a skirt around her waist showing that she was a female. Her helmet resembles a helicopter with a small fin on the top and has small wings on the side along with silver round turbines, with two silver small windshields above the visor, and has an oval-shaped black visor that was cut in half. The mouthpiece has a circular shape to fit under the visor and the mouthpiece also resembles an exhaust vent. The case around her Morpher was based around a helicopter along with the buckle on her belt.
As they were walking out of the cave, the Blue Ranger placed a hand on his head as he felt a little dizzy while the Pink Ranger shielded the sun's light with her hand from her eyes as her vision was a bit blurry for a moment.
"Shin? Claire?" Dean said in shock to see those Rangers before they turned to him.
"Dean?" Both the Blue and Pink Ranger said.
"You're alive…" Dean mutters.
The Blue and Pink Power Rangers then turn to Swartz.
"That guy looks like trouble." The Blue Ranger said, and the Pink Ranger nodded.
"Seems like it."
"Two more Rangers?!" Swartz said before he turned to Cyber as he stood back up. "How could you let this happen you fool?!"
"Don't blame me! It's not like I knew this would happen!" Cyber defended himself, and Swartz huffed as he turned back to the Rangers.
"I suppose that it doesn't matter now. You go back to the Kaiser Sphere and report to his highness. I'll deal with them." Swartz said.
"Don't worry, I wasn't going to argue." Cyber said before he teleports to the Kaiser Sphere.
Swartz then assumed his stance to fight against the Blue and Pink Rangers.
"I don't know how you're here, and I can hardly care. I won't let you stand against us!" General Swartz said before he sent a dark energy slash at the two Rangers.
Both the Blue and Pink Rangers dodges it by jumping out of the way, then they soon charge at Swartz with the Blue Ranger running on all fours like a wolf while the Pink Ranger follows behind them.
The Blue Ranger then pulls out his Nexus Dagger.
"Nexus Dagger!" He said.
Swartz then swung his sword at the Blue Ranger, and he dodged it by moving to the side, and the Blue Ranger used that chance to slash on his back as he jumped forward. The Blue Ranger quickly turns back to the general before he lands on his feet and one hand, he then charges at Swartz moving like a wolf once again and Swartz swung his sword at him, the Blue Ranger narrowly dodges it and slashes on Swartz's side as he moves past him.
"He's quick!" Swartz said before he saw the Pink Ranger charging at him.
Swartz then swung his sword at her, but the Pink Ranger dodged by jumping over both his and above him. Swart turns thinking that the Pink Ranger was behind him but saw she was nowhere to be seen.
"What the…? Where did she go?" Swartz said as he looked for the Pink Ranger.
"I'm up here."
Swartz looked up and saw that the Pink Ranger was standing on top of his head using her hand to stand on him.
"Why you…!" Swartz exclaimed as he swung his sword at the Pink Ranger, and she dodged by jumping off his head as Swartz accidentally attacked himself with his sword.
Swartz groaned as he placed a hand on his face before he felt a tap on his shoulder. Swartz turned around and saw the Pink Ranger standing behind him.
"Hey there!" She said as she waved her hand.
Growing frustrated by her mocking, Swartz swung his sword at the Pink Ranger once again and she dodges by jumping backwards and lands on top of his sword by using her hand, the Pink Ranger then uses that chance to spin and kick Swartz on the head which sends him rolling on the ground while the Pink Ranger lands gracefully on her feet.
The Pink Ranger then took a moment to stretch out her arms.
"Hmmm…Feels good to finally stretch out after that long nap." She said before the Blue Ranger walked to her side as he rolled his shoulder.
"Tell me about it." He said before Dean walked between them.
"Glad to see that you two hadn't lost your touch." Dean said as they faced Swartz together as the general stood back up.
"Damn you…Xedroids!" Swartz calls out and a group of Xedroids soon appear before him and are ready to fight the Rangers.
"And they always bring a group with them." The Pink Ranger said.
"Then how about we even the odds?" Dean said, and they nodded in agreement.
Then Dean along with the Blue and Pink Rangers brings out their respective Weapon Cards.
The Blue Ranger's Card had an image of a lance and the Pink Ranger's Card had an image of a bowgun.
"Load Weapons Card!" The three Rangers shouted as they loaded their respective cards into their Morphers.
They then brought their Morphers in front of their chests and appearing out of them were digital blocks of energy which formed blueprints of weapons in their respective colors.
Then a beam of light in their colors appeared from their Morphers to create their weapons and the three Nexus Rangers grabbed onto them after they were completed and wielded them in their hands.
The Blue Ranger's weapon was based around a lance that has a wolf's head holding the blade and has a card slot in the middle of the handle with the 'N' symbol on it.
The Pink Ranger's weapon Based around a crossbow shaped like a helicopter and has a card slot in the top end of it with the 'N' symbol.
"Nexus Racer Saber!" Dean declared as he strikes his pose with his Saber.
"Nexus Wolf Lance!" The Blue Ranger declared as he swung his Lance upward to his left and swung it down to his right.
"Nexus Chopper Bowgun!" The Pink Ranger declared as swung her Bowgun down from her legs and pointed it upward while placing a hand on her bicep.
"Grrr…Attack!" Swartz ordered and the Xedroids soon charged at the Nexus Rangers and they did the same and soon battled against the droids using their weapons.
The Blue Ranger uses his Lance to slash at Xedroids in front of him, he then blocks one's attack behind and pushes it back and slashes on that Xedroid as he spun around.
The Blue Ranger then saw three Xedroids attacking at the same time with their weapons, he blocks them and manages to push them back and slashes the three Xedroids with one straight slash sending them to the ground before they explode.
Several Xedroids charge at the Pink Ranger and she shoots them by firing pink energy shots with her Bowgun as the droids fall to the ground and explode.
The Pink Ranger then saw another group of Xedroids gathering in front of her.
"Guys, come on, can't we at least try to talk about this?" The Pink Ranger asks before the Xedroids fire laser blasts at her and dodges them by rolling on the ground. "I'll take that as a no."
The Xedroids once again fire at the Pink Ranger, she dodges their laser blasts by flipping and jumping to the side, then when she jumps high in the air the Pink Ranger then fires at some of the Xedroids destroying them before she lands on ground.
The Pink Ranger then saw another Xedroid attacking her from behind, she dodges it by jumping above the droid and lands on top of its head by grabbing onto it with both of her legs.
She then forced the Xedroid to move around and at the same time she fired at the remaining droids around her to destroy them. The Pink Ranger then threw the Xedroid she was riding on to the ground before she placed her foot on top of its chest and fired her Bowgun in front of it to destroy it.
"Wish you took my offer to talk things out." She said.
Dean slashes at the Xedroids around them, before he dodges one's attack behind him and slashes on its chest.
The Red Ranger then saw Swartz jumping at him to attack with his sword, Dean blocked it in time with his sword before the two clash blades several times and entered a bladed lock.
"I've already beaten you in a sword fight! How can you possibly hope to best me this time?!" Swartz said and Dean smirks underneath his helmet.
"Simple. I'm not alone this time!" Dean said.
Swartz was fired upon from the side which forced to stumble sideways and away from the Red Ranger, he soon saw it was the Pink Ranger who fired at him.
"How dare you!" Swartz said before Dean slashed on his chest which forced to stumble once again.
Then the Blue Ranger jumps over Dean and slashes in front of Swartz as he lands in front of the general. Dean then rolled over the Blue Ranger's back and slashes on Swartz once again before both Rangers slashes on him one at a time and lands a double slash which sends Swartz rolling on the ground.
As Swartz slowly stood back up, the three Nexus Rangers soon stood side-by-side as Swartz glared at them.
"Damn you!" Swartz said.
Then the Nexus Rangers soon pulled out their Super Charge Cards, the Blue and Pink Ranger's Cards were colored in their respective colors.
"Load Super Charge Card!" Dean said.
"Load Card!" Both the Blue and Pink Rangers said as all three of them load their Cards into the card slots of their respective weapons.
A dark space appeared around the three Nexus Rangers and Swartz, as their weapons glowed with energy the headlights and eyes on the Nexus Rangers' helmets lit up as they assumed their stance.
As red energy wheels appeared beside Dean's feet, appearing around the Blue Ranger's legs was the legs of a wolf made out of blue energy as he assumed a beat-like stance, and appearing behind the Pink Ranger was a helicopter's rotor blades as they spin rapidly and the Pink Ranger aimed her Bowgun at Swartz.
Then both the Red and Blue Rangers charge at Swartz moving at high speed as both Rangers slash through him, and the Pink Ranger fires an energy enhanced energy shot at Swartz, the general blocks it with his sword and was on even ground against it but the energy shot exploded in front of him.
Swartz had survived against the Rangers' attack, but was sent flying before he fell to the ground.
The Nexus Rangers once again stood side-by-side and faced the general as Swartz stood back up.
"Damn you…" Swartz mutters. "Fine! I let you have this victory, but make no mistake, I'll make sure you'll pay dearly for this!"
Swartz retreated by teleporting to the Kaiser Sphere.
After that, the three Rangers dismissed their weapons and Dean turned to the Blue Ranger before they held hands and hugged each other.
"It's good to see you bro." Dean said before he and the Blue Ranger placed their hand on their shoulders.
"You too." The Blue Ranger said.
Dean then hugs the Pink Ranger as they laugh together.
(Meanwhile)
After Swartz and Cyber had returned to the Kaiser Sphere, they reported to Prince Crimson what the energy source was and what had happened after they had discovered it, and the prince wasn't pleased to learn this.
"Y-Your Highness…Please, remain calm!" Cyber pleaded as he stepped away from the prince as he was approaching him.
But his pleas were ignored as Prince Crimson fired an energy blast at Cyber which sent him to the floor, then the prince stomped his foot on his chest to prevent him from getting back up as he angrily glared at Cyber.
"You are in no position to make demands from me, Cyber!" Prince Crimson exclaimed at him and Cyber flinched in fear. "How could you let this happen?! I trusted you and you meant to tell me that because of your incompetence, two more Rangers had appeared?!"
"I-I'm sorry! Please, just give me another chance! I promise, I won't let this happen again! I beg of you sir!" Cyber pleaded to the prince.
General Swartz then steps forward to talk with the prince.
"My Prince, please, I know this is upsetting to you but you shouldn't blame Cyber for it." Swartz said and both the prince and Cyber turned to the general. "I'm not defending him, but you shouldn't forget I fought those Rangers myself and I failed to defeat them. So in some sense, I'm somewhat responsible for this. Don't forget, we still need Cyber's talent for the good of the Empire, so it would be a waste to execute him now."
Prince Crimson growled before he removed his foot and steps away from Cyber as he sat back up.
"Be grateful to Swartz. Because he's the reason you're still alive, but you better not fail me again." Prince Crimson said and Cyber bowed his head.
"Yes, of course, Your Highness!" Cyber said.
"Either way, one Ranger was bad enough. We can't let two more run free." Prince Crimson said before he turned to Swartz. "Swartz, deploy a legion of Xe-Bots and Xe-Fighters, now!"
The general bowed his head.
"Of course, Your Highness." Swartz said.
Swartz then moved to his own personal computer and types on the keyboard to activate the Xe-Bots and Xe-Fighters as both machines appeared on the screen.
Outside the Kaiser Sphere, a part opens beneath the Empire's symbol and underneath it was a hangar filled with an army of giant robots and flyers.
The giant robots, the Xe-Bots, were humanoid shape machines with pointed edges on their heads with a red visor and their bodies were colored purely red with a red visor, the only thing that were different about half of them is that one group has drills for arms and weapons while one group had blasters for arms. They also had the Kaiser Empire's symbol on their chests.
The flyers, the Xe-Flyers, were also colored red and almost resembled a high-tech fighter jet. They had the Kaiser Empire's symbol on both of their wings.
Then a group of Xe-Bots and Xe-Flyers became active as their visors lit up, then the part where the Xe-Bots were hanging on moved forward and they soon dropped down to the Earth's surface.
The Xe-Flyers then take and fly out of the Kaiser Sphere and head to the Earth's surface.
After the Nexus Rangers finished celebrating their reunion, Dean soon asked them a question.
"But I don't understand. How are you still alive?" Dean asked.
"Well…" The Blue Ranger said.
But before they could explain, the Rangers felt the earth shaking beneath and that's when they saw the Xe-Bots landing on the ground after entering Earth's atmosphere and the Xe-Flyers had arrived to fly towards the Rangers and fired at them.
They quickly avoided their energy shots, but the Xe-Bots with blaster arms fired at them as well which sent the Rangers flying above the ground before they fell.
"Looks like we don't have time to explain!" The Pink Ranger said she and the others stood up.
"Good point!" Dean said before he turned to the Pink and Blue Rangers. "You guys head back to the base! I'll handle this!"
Dean soon brings out his Zord Card and inserts it into his Morpher and presses the Zord Button.
"Load Card! Deploy, Nexus Racer Zord!" Dean said.
Then the Nexus Ranger raced down the tunnel of energy and arrived to the outside world.
Dean soon entered his Zord's cockpit and placed his Morpher by the controls and loaded the Battle Mode Card into it. The Nexus Racer Zord soon changes into its Battle Mode.
"Nexus Racer Zord, Battle Mode!" The Red Ranger declared.
The Racer Zord soon faced a group of Xe-Bots and charged at them. The Xe-Bots with blaster arms then fired at the Zord, but it kept on charging at them as explosions appeared around it.
Then the Racer Zord lands some punches on some of the Xe-Bots in front of it.
Then the Bots with drills attack the Zord, the Racer blocks the first one's attack and counters by punching on its chest. The Racer Zord dodges one's attack and punches on it two times forcing the Xe-Bot to stumble back.
Then the Racer Zord notices three Xe-Flyers heading straight towards it.
"Don't think you have the advantage just because you can fly." Dean said as he pushed down the lever and steps on the gas pedal and pressed the button on his steering wheel.
The engine on the Racer Zord's chest revs up and fires a red beam at the Xe-Flyers, but then the Flyers change into semi-humanoid robot forms as they avoid the beam.
"What the…?" Dean said in shock to see that before he felt his cockpit shaking.
The Xe-Flyers in their robot forms had begun firing on the Racer Zord as they moved on the ground and moved around the Zord as they continued to fire on him.
Then the Xe-Bots armed with blaster arms used this chance to fire on the Racer Zord pushing it back as Dean's cockpit was shaking.
Both the Blue and Pink Rangers watch in worry for Dean.
"Oh no, Dean! We have to help him!" The Pink Ranger said.
"I know, but how? We don't have our Zords." The Blue Ranger said.
"Shin! Claire!" Pixel said through their Morphers before the Blue and Pink Rangers looked at them as their AI companion was on the screen.
"Pixel?" The Blue Ranger said.
"Pix! It's so good to see you." The Pink Ranger said in happiness, and Pixel chuckles.
"Trust me, I feel the same. But there's no time for happy reunions. Your Zords are ready and good to go!" Pixel said which surprised them.
"Really? Alright!" The Pink Ranger said.
"That's our Pixel, always a step ahead of everyone." The Blue Ranger said.
Then both Rangers opened their respective card holders and pulled out their respective Zord Cards.
The Blue Ranger's Card had a picture of a robotic wolf and the Pink Ranger's Card had a picture of a helicopter.
"Load Card!" Both Rangers said as they loaded their Cards into their Morphers and pressed the Zord Button.
"Deploy, Nexus Wolf Zord!" The Blue Ranger shouted.
"Deploy, Nexus Chopper Zord!" The Pink Ranger shouted.
Then their respective Zords appeared on their Morphers' screens.
In the base, another Zord hangar was filled with darkness before a pair of orange eyes lit up the darkness and the lights turned on showing the Zord's appearance.
The Nexus Wolf Zord's main body was colored blue with black legs with blue armor pieces attached besides them and has silver-colored fangs and claws. On its back was a large machine gun with a long barrel attached above it.
The Wolf Zord growls before the doors in front of it open and creates a pathway. The pathway is a forest made out of blue energy and above was a starry night sky with a full moon.
The Wolf Zord howls before he charges forward and runs throughout the forest.
In another hangar, the lights turned on revealing the Nexus Chopper Zord.
The Chopper Zord was colored white with pink windshields and the rotor blades were also colored pink, and the back were two turbines, it also had short wings that had blasters attached under them.
The Zord's windshield lights up as its rotor blades begin to spin rapidly, the gate above it soon opens up revealing a tunnel of pink energy and the Chopper Zord soon flies into it as it continues to fly up.
Then both Zords soon appeared in the outside world and the Blue and Pink Rangers looked at them.
"Alright!" The Pink Ranger cheered.
"Now we're really back in action!" The Blue Ranger said before they jumped into their respective Zords.
The Blue Ranger entered the Wolf Zord's cockpit. Like the Racer Zord, the cockpit was colored gray with blue markings.
The controls were a control wheel with two blue triggers and a large blue button on the center of it.
He then removed his Morpehr and attached it close to his controls.
"Access Controls!" Then the words 'Nexus Wolf Zord, Controls Accessed' appeared on the screen.
The Pink Ranger enters the Chopper Zord's cockpit which has pink markings around it.
The controls were a cyclic pitch control with a pink trigger and a button and beside her was a lever.
She then removed her Morpher and attached it close to the controls.
"Access Controls!" The words 'Nexus Chopper Zord, Controls Accessed' also appeared on her Morpher's screen.
Both the Xe-Bots and Xe-Flyers continued to fire upon the Racer Zord as they pushed it back.
Inside the cockpit, sparks appeared around Dean as it shakes.
"This isn't good…At this rate!" Dean said before he heard a familiar howl.
Then the Xe-Bots and Flyers were fired upon which forced them to stop their attack. Dean saw it was from the Wolf and Chopper Zords as they moved in to assist the Racer.
"The Wolf and Chopper Zords?! Then that would mean…" Dean said before he heard a familiar voice.
"Hey, Dean!"
The Red Ranger turns to his Morpher and both the Blue and Pink Rangers appear on the screen.
"Shin! Claire!" Dean said in relief.
"You didn't think we'd just sit this out, did you?" The Pink Ranger asked.
Dean chuckles.
"I guess not. Alright, Claire, you handle the flyers. Shin, you and I will handle the bots." Dean told his teammates.
"You got it." The Pink Ranger said while doing an ok sign with her hand.
"Roger that!" The Blue Ringer nodded.
The Chopper Zord flew above the Racer Zord, and the Pink Ranger pressed on her control's trigger to fire at the Xe-Bots and Flyers to fire pink laser blasters at them landing some good hits.
The Xe-Flyers soon changed into their flight modes and flew at the Chopper Zord.
"That's right, just follow me!" The Pink Ranger said as she pushed on her lever to activate her Zord's thrusters to fly forward with the Flyers following behind her.
"Deploy, Nexus Saber!" Dean said as he pressed on the button on his steering wheel.
Now armed with its sword, the Racer Zord faces the Xe-Bots before the Wolf Zord stops to its side as it growls at them.
Then both Zord charge at the Xe-Bots. The Xe-Bots armed with blasters fire at both Zords, the Racer keeps on charging forward as it deflects their shots with its Saber while the Wolf dodges their shots by jumping to one spot and to the next.
The Wolf Zord then fires at two Xe-Bots using its machine, firing several energy shots which soon destroy them.
Then the Wolf Zord charges at one Xe-Bot before it jumps at it to attack with its claws two times which soon destroy it.
The Racer Zord clashes its Saber against the drills of some Xe-Bots before it slashes through them as they fall to the ground and explode.
The Xe-Fighters which were following behind the Chopper Zord fired their blasters at it, and the Pink Ranger skillfully avoided their shots by using a barrel roll.
"Here's some payback from me!" She said before she pulled her lever back along with her pitch control.
The Chopper Zord then brakes backwards and the rotor blades slashes through two Xe-Flyers cutting them in half before they explode.
The other Xe-Flyers manage to avoid the Chopper Zord's attacks before it stops.
Then the Pink Ranger then pulled the trigger on her controls which fired the blasters on her Zord and managed to shoot down several of the Xe-Flyers as they fell to the ground and exploded.
"Piece of cake!" The Pink Ranger said as she swipes her thumb on her nose.
The Xe-Bots armed with blasters fired at the Wolf Zord, and the Wolf Zord dodges their laser shots before it jumps at the Bots and attacks with its claws which destroy them as they explode.
The Wolf Zord then spotted a group of Xe-Bots charging at it.
"Perfect. You're just where I want you." The Blue Ranger said before he pressed the large button on his controls. "Activate, Cannon Mode!"
Then the barrel on top of the Wolf Zord's machine gun soon attaches itself in front of it to form a cannon.
The Wolf Zord soon assumes his stance with two back parts from its legs drops down to the ground to hold the Zord in place as the cannon begins to charge up, and it soon fired a blue beam at the charging Xe-Bots which pierce straight into their chest before the beam created a large explosion to destroy them.
The Racer Zord now stands in front of the remaining Xe-Bots.
"Super Nexus Blaster!" Dean calls out as he raises his hand.
The Super Nexus Blaster soon flew into Dean's hand, and the Red Ranger prepared and aimed it at the Xe-Bots.
"Nexus Racer Zord, Final Saber Slash!" Dean shouted as he fired at the Xe-Bots.
The Nexus Racer Zord soon charges at them and slashes through all of the Xe-Bots, destroying them as they explode.
Then the Racer Zord stood in triumph before the Nexus Wolf and Chopper Zords moved at both of its sides with the Chopper Zord flying close to the Racer Zord's shoulder while the Wolf Zord howled in triumph.
In the Kaiser Sphere, both Swartz and Cyber were left stunned that three of the Rangers' Zords were able to beat a legion of Xe-Bots and Xe-Flyers.
Frustrated by this, Prince Crimson punches on his throne's armrest and angrily glares at the three Zords.
"Damn it all…This isn't over yet, Rangers." Prince Crimson swore.
After the battle, the three Rangers had returned to the base as they entered the hangars of their respective Zords.
Dean soon jumps onto the platform before he hears a voice.
"Dean!"
Dean turned to his side and saw the Blue and Pink Rangers running towards him. The Pink Ranger then hugs him and he returns the hug.
"It's so good to see you." She said and Dean chuckled to hear.
"Are you kidding? That was supposed to be my line." Dean said and all three of them chuckled.
After the Red and Pink Rangers let go of each other, the three Rangers took off their helmets which showed the faces of the Blue and Pink Rangers.
They were the same age as Dean was.
The Blue Ranger appeared to be of Asian descent. He had short dark blue hair and black eyes. This is Shinya Okabe, but his friends mostly call him Shin.
The Pink Ranger had long brown hair tied in a ponytail and had green eyes. This is Claire.
"I still can't believe it's really you." Dean said before he hugs Claire once again and grabs onto Shin's hand. "I mean, how is this possible? I thought you all died when the Megazord exploded."
"Please, Dean, you really think I was going to let that happen?" Shin asked before he and Claire remembered the events of what happened during the D-War.
(Flashback)
As the Megazord begins to explode, Shin pressed some buttons on his Morpher and a pod appeared on top of the Nexus Rangers before they ejected out of the cockpit.
"After the Megazord began to explode, I was able to activate the ejection system before the explosion could reach us." Shin explained.
Then the Megazord soon exploded, taking all of the enemy robots with it. But the shockwave of the explosion knocked the Rangers' pods off course and they were sent in separate directions.
For Shin and Claire, they smashed into the very mountain's cave system where they were discovered and were unintentionally awakened by the Kaiser Empire.
"We were supposed to return to the base, but our pods were knocked off course and me and Claire crashed into a cave. Thankfully, the pods and our Ranger suits kept us alive, but we were kept in a suspended animation. We were left totally unaware of what was going on in the outside world." Shin explained.
(End of flashback)
"No way…And after that big speech of trusting me to handle the rest." Dean said.
Claire chuckles as she rubs the back of her head.
"Yeah…I'm sorry that we scared you like that." Claire said, and Dean sighed.
"Anyway, I'm just glad that you're here with me right now. But if you two escape, then Alisa and Aaron are still out there too?" Dean asked, both Shin and Claire blink to hear that.
"Wait, you haven't found them?" Shin asked and Dean shook his head.
"No, in fact, I didn't know you were still alive." The Red Ranger told them.
"I see. That makes sense." Shin said.
Claire then spoke out.
"Anyway, Dean, what happened during the war? The last thing we remember is when the Megazord exploded."
"Yeah. Did you stop Do…Embryo?" Shin asked.
Dean flinches as he wasn't sure how to tell them, before he heard the elevator's doors opening as he turned to it, Dean then lowered his head as he can't keep the truth from them forever.
Dean then turns to the Blue and Pink Rangers.
"Come on. I'll explain once we're inside." Dean said before he moved to the elevator, both Shin and Claire followed him and the three of them went inside before the elevator doors closed.
As the elevator was going up to the command center, Dean had told Shin and Claire the events of what they missed when they were in cold sleep.
"538 years?! That's how long we've been asleep?" Claire asked in shock, and Dean nodded.
"Yeah, according to what Pixel told me." Dean said.
"No way…" Claire mutters before she asks Dean another question. "But, you manage to stop Embryo, right?"
Dean bit his lip before he lowered his head in shame.
"I'm sorry, Claire…I tried my best, I fought with all I had…But in the end, I wasn't able to stop him…" Dean told her.
Hearing that completely shocked and devastated the Blue and Pink Rangers.
"No…" Claire mutters before she places a hand on her mouth and she soon begins to cry. "No…"
Shin grits his teeth.
"Dammit!" Shin exclaimed as he punches on the wall, Dean and Claire turn to the Blue Ranger before he leans on the wall with his arm on his eyes. "And it was all my fault…Because I trusted Embryo."
"Shin…" Claire said in worry for the Blue Ranger before Dean spoke out.
"Shin, stop that. We all made the mistake of trusting that man, the fault lies to the rest of us too." Dean said, but Shin turned to him.
"That's easy for you to say! You're not the one who gave him the actual keys to end the world!" Shin exclaimed before he grabbed Dean's collar and pulled him close to him. "Why?! Why didn't you stop him?! We all pin our hopes on you, and let us down! You let the whole world down!"
Dean lowered his head before Claire came between and pushed both Dean and Shin away from each other.
"That's enough, Shin!" Claire said as she turned to the Blue Ranger. "Do you really think Dean doesn't feel the same as you do?"
Shin then turns back to Dean before he lowered his head in shame.
"Dean…I'm sorry, I didn't mean to…" Shin said.
"It's alright. I understand how you feel." Dean said before he raised his head. "Look, I know this is tough to process right now. Trust me, I've felt the same after I woke up. I spent this whole time thinking you were gone, you have no idea how happy I was to find out you were still alive. For once I'm really grateful towards the Kaiser Empire, it was thanks to them I was able to find you. And I promise, we will find Alisa and Aaron, the Earth needs us now more than ever."
Claire manages to wipe away her tears.
"Right. We can't leave those two sleeping forever." Claire said.
"But…What would be the point of us defending a dead world?" Shin asked.
"Well…I wouldn't exactly call this world dead yet." Dean told them which confused his teammates.
"What do you mean?" Shin asked before the elevator stopped.
"Probably best if you see them for yourselves." Dean said before the elevator doors opened.
They soon exited the elevator and entered the command room.
"You're back. And I see that you've brought your friends." A voice said.
Both Shin and Claire blinked to hear that voice before they stopped walking and saw Salamandinay, Naga, and Kaname waiting for them along with Pixel as she waved at them.
Both Shin and Claire were shocked by Salamandinay's group and notice that they each have a tail on their back.
"Shin…Am I crazy or do they have a tail?" Claire asked, and Shin shook his head.
"Don't worry, you're not crazy because I'm seeing them too." Shin answered.
Dean then turns to the Blue and Pink Rangers before he rubs the back of his head.
"Yeah, it was a surprise to me too. But don't worry, we'll bring you up to speed." Dean told them.
