Chapter 7: The Power of Triad
After Dean had introduced Salamandinay's group to Shin and Claire, both him and Pixel were bringing the Blue and Pink Rangers up to speed on what they missed when they were in cold sleep.
Shin and Claire were watching footage when the Children of Aura started to appear as they roared and flew in the sky along with feeding on the Dracunium contaminated plants.
"In order to adapt to the Dracunium radiation, the survivors undergo genetic manipulation which turns them into dragon-like beings. After that, they dedicate their lives into rebuilding the Earth by devouring Dracunium crystals and absorbing them into their bodies." Pixel explained before she flashed forward to the town where the Children of Aura now lives today. "And after a few years, they reach a point where they don't have to fear the radiation anymore, and the women are now able to assume human form and give birth to many children. The men however aren't able to assume human form and are permanently stuck in their dragon forms, due to absorbing too much of the Dracunium energy. But they manage to live in peace and build an entirely new world."
"Man…this is a lot to take in." Shin said and Claire nodded in agreement.
"Tell me about it…" Claire said.
Then the Blue and Pink Rangers turned to Dean and Salamandinay's group.
"But is it really true? Is Embryo still alive?" Shin asked, and Salamandinay nodded.
"Yes. It happened around 250 years ago, but Embryo was there when he took Aura from us." Salamandinay said.
"And apparently, he built an entirely new world and made it into his own image. And from what I've been told, he's been secretly controlling it from the shadows." Dean said.
"That's really unreal. I mean…Is he even human at this point?" Claire said, and Shin lowered his head.
Salamandinay notices the expression on the Blue Ranger's face and Dean notices that before he coughs in his hand.
"Anyway, I know this is all too much to process right now. Which is why I'm gonna let you two get some rest right now. Even if you just woke up." Dean nervously chuckles and rubs the back of his head.
"Yeah…Yeah…I think that would be the best." Claire said.
"Perfect. Then I'll escort you there personally." Pixel said, and Claire smiles at the AI.
"Thanks, Pix." Claire said.
Pixel then turns to the Blue Ranger.
"What about you, Shin? If you want, I'll call Yamato to keep you company." She told him, but Shin shook his head.
"No, that's alright. I think I'll rather be alone in my lab right now." Shin said before he stood up and left.
"Okay…" Pixel said in some worry before she noticed that Claire was leaving as well. "Hey, Claire, wait for me!"
As he watches his teammates leaving the room, Dean can't help but worry about them before Salamandinay walks to his side.
"Do you think they'll be alright?" Salamandinay asked, and Dean sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"In all honesty…I'm not sure myself." Dean said. "Anyway, you should probably head back. I'm sure the High Priestess needs to know about those two."
Salamandinay nodded in agreement.
"Yes, of course. But let me know if something changes." Salamandinay said before she and her subordinates headed to the teleporter to head back home.
"Well…I guess I better get to work before I head to bed." Dean said.
Claire was walking in the hallway as Pixel was flying beside her, they soon arrived at her room as they stopped in front of the door.
"Here we are. Room sweet room." Pixel said before Claire opens the door and walks into her old room.
Claire looks at her room to study her surroundings. There were some stuffed animals on a dresser, a heart shaped table, and coffee cups with cute bear images on them that were placed next to the sink. On her bed there was a stuffed bear that was placed by the pillow.
"Huh…You kept my room the way I left it." Claire said before she put her helmet on the table.
Pixel chuckles as she rubs the back of her head.
"Yeah, you know me, I'm sentimental like that." Pixel said. "But Claire, tell me, will you be alright?"
Claire smiles at Pixel.
"Thanks, Pix, but I'll be fine. There's no need to worry about me, honest." Claire assured the AI.
"I…Alright, but you need anything, don't forget I'm always here for you and the others." Pixel told the Pink Ranger.
"I know, thanks." Claire told the AI.
Pixel then left the room and the door closed, before Pixel could head to the lab to check on Shin, Pixel then heard crying from Claire's room. The Pink Ranger was on her bed as she was crying with her face on the pillow.
"Oh, Claire…" Pixel said in worry for her before she left to check on Shin to see how he is.
Shin was in the base's laboratory, besides being the team's second command, he also serves as the Nexus Rangers' scientist and technologic expert.
The lab had everything a scientist would need, beakers, medical scanners, a centrifuge, and a microscope.
Shin was mostly seated on his chair as he was using his personal computer to look at footage of the final events of the D-War, where Embryo used all seven of the Ragna-mail to destroy the world.
Shin watches as all seven Ragna-mails used their Discord Phasers to destroy the Dracunium reactors all around the world, but the collision of both energies caused a chain reaction which created worldwide explosions that had contaminated the Earth's atmosphere and ecosystem which led to the death of over billions of people.
Shin then turns off his computer and places a hand over his eyes. Even though the survivors of that time managed to survive and help restore the Earth's ecosystem, it didn't help give him peace.
"Damn it…Why, Doctor…Why did you do it?" Shin mutters to himself.
Unknown to Shin is that Yamato was watching him as he was hiding beside the door, that's when Pixel had appeared beside him.
Pixel looks at the despairing Shin before she turns to Yamato, and he shook his head, Pixel sighed in worry for her friends.
"What should we do?" Pixel mutters to herself.
Dean chose to remain in the command room after his friends left as he was setting up the base's satellite up-link to search for Alisa and Aaron's Morphin Grid energy.
"Okay, and that should just about do it." Dean said as he finished the satellite search.
The satellites begin their scan for Alisa and Aaron appears on screen as they are scanned all around the Earth along with the ruined cities, the forests, mountains, and the deepest parts of the ocean to find them.
"Alright, at this rate we'll find them in no time." Dean said before he heard a familiar voice behind him.
"Umm, Dean…"
Dean turned around and saw that Pixel was flying behind him.
"What is it, Pixel?" Dean asked, and Pixel lowered her head and rubbed her arm.
"It's Shin and Claire, I'm worried about them. They're trying their best to hide it, but I can tell, they're really torn up right now." Pixel told him, and Dean sighed as he leaned back on the chair.
"Well, what do you expect? Waking in a new world where everything we know is gone along with everyone we ever knew and loved. I mean I could literally understand how they feel." Dean said.
"Then you should do something about it. Try to lift their spirits a bit." Pixel told him.
"But what can I possibly do?" Dean asked, and Pixel sighed to hear that.
"Well, didn't Max tell you what a leader should do?" Pixel asked, and Dean did remember something his grandfather told him.
"Remember, Dean, the mark of being a true leader is always being there for your team. If they're ever in their lowest, you need to bring them back up no matter how difficult it is."
Dean sighed as he rubbed the back of his head.
"I sometimes hate it when you're right." Dean said, and Pixel smiled as she placed her hands on her hips. "But still, how can I lift their spirits? It's not like we can go on a trip or something…"
Dean blinks before he turns to the flower, he was given earlier that was placed in a vase filled with water and it was placed on a flat surface on the computer.
That's when he just came up with an idea before he turns back to Pixel.
"Actually, scratch that. I think we do have a place to go." Dean said.
Pixel blinks to hear that before she looks at the flower too and understands what he meant which made her chuckle.
"Really? I'm glad to hear that." Pixel said. "But you'll have to be the one to tell her."
Dean blinks to hear that.
"What? Why me?" Dean asked.
"Because you're the leader, remember?" Pixel reminded him.
"How is that relevant?" Dean asked once again.
"Just shut up and do it. I'm going to check on Miss Sayla and her daughter. Later." Pixel waved before she left the room by teleporting.
"Do you really have to do that though?" Dean said before he sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Honestly…I don't know why I have to feel nervous about this. I'm just calling to ask her a favor."
Dean then uses his Morpher to contact someone who can arrange for his and his teammates' arrival, and it was Salamandinay as she answered and appeared on the screen.
"Dean, is something wrong?" She asked and Dean shook his head.
"No, it's nothing. I know this is sudden, but I need you to help me with something." Dean said before he told the DRAGON Princess his plan to help cheer up Shin and Claire.

(Instrumental) (As the song starts, two Earths appear one at a time before they collide against each other creating a flash of light which blinded the screen.)
(Sono te nobashi te mabayui ashita o tsukamitore! Mugen no sora hamatake Believe in Nexus!) (Five of the Nexus Zords had appeared as the Racer, Wolf, and Dozer Zords were racing on a large road while the Chopper and Falcon Zords were flying above them before they turned into a flash of light and flew into the vast open sky before the story's title appeared on screen.)
(Araburu kono shoudo daremino tomiranai!) (The Nexus Rangers were standing on a hill as they looked at the town where the Children of Aura resides as some of them in DRAGON form flew above them as they watched them in awe.)
(Hiri asa mi kirikou o taka maru kono Heart Beat!) (Then it changes to a split screen with Salamandinay looking at her Enryugo as it was still incomplete, and Ange who was in her room in Arzenal as she was seated on her bed while looking at her ring, before it changes to Embryo and behind him was a man hidden in darkness holding a Morpher in his hand.)
(Bi chinai sou o natato sekawaerai!) (Then it changes showing an army of Xedroids and behind them were Prince Crimson, General Swartz, and Cyber.)
(Koko de oarasatakunai Go For It!) (Next the screen changes to the Rangers commencing their Morphin Sequence as they Morph into their suits before their helmets appeared.)
(Tachiagare kodoku ni obiekuru e naide!) (The screen changes showing a fleet of Xe-Fighters and an army of Xe-Bots charging forward to attack, then changes to the Nexus Rangers loading their Zord Cards into their Morphers as they soon appear, and the Rangers jump into them.)
(Nakama ma batte irukoto mou ichido omoidase!) (In his cockpit, the Nexus Red Ranger inserts his Battle Mode Card into his Morpher and his Racer Zord changes into the said mode.)
(Kowaku wa naisa akirame wa shinai donna tsugoi yatsu ni mo make wa shinai itsudatte o kino yuuki de Believe In Nexus!) (Then each of the Nexus Zord launch respective attacks on their enemies before the Kaiser Sphere in the sky. Then the Zords combine forming the Nexus Prime Megazord, and then energy appears around the Megazord before it flies at the Kaiser Sphere to attack and when it collides against the Sphere a large flash of light appears blinding the screen. Then it changes to both Earths before the Nexus Rangers along with the villain leaders appeared as they faced each other.)
In her room, Claire was asleep after crying for so long hinted from the redness around her eyes but then she was given a rude awakening as she could hear alarms going off inside of her room.
Claire's eyes shot up as she sat up.
"What the…?"
Shin had fallen asleep in his lap as his head was on the table before he also heard the same alarm as he woke up and raised his head.
"The emergency alarm?!" Shin said in worry as this alarm is supposed to alert the Nexus Rangers for any emergencies.
Both the Blue and Pink Rangers left their respective rooms and quickly ran into the command room where Dean was waiting for them as he was facing the computer and with his back turned against his teammates.
"Alright, Dean, we're here." Claire said.
"What's the emergency?" Shin asked.
Dean then turns to them in confusion before the alarm turns off.
"Emergency? Oh wait, the alarm. Sorry about that, I just wanted to make sure it was working properly." Dean said as he rubbed the back of his head.
Both Shin and Claire blink to hear that.
"Really?" Claire asked.
"Then…I guess there's no reason for us to be here." Shin said as he was ready to leave and head to his room to sleep, Claire was ready to follow him.
"Wait." Dean calls out and they turn back to him. "Actually, there is a reason why I called you two here."
"Which is?" Claire asked.
"You see…It's a life-threatening mission that will decide the fate of this planet." Dean said, and Shin and Claire were deeply concerned about that.
"Really?" Claire asked, and Dean nodded.
"Then spit it out. What is it?" Shin asked.
"The mission is…" Dean said and they were deeply focused and concerned about what it is. Then the Red Ranger smiles at them. "We're going on a trip."
The Blue and Pink Rangers nearly face faulted to hear that.
"Really?! That's the mission?" Shin asked, and Dean nodded.
"It is. What were you expecting?" Dean asked.
"I don't know. Maybe something a little more serious." Claire answered.
"Oh, but this is serious." Dean said and they both blink in confusion. "Going on a trip will be a great way to relieve fatigue and help clear our minds. And the two of you might need it after waking from your 500 year nap."
"Okay…" Claire said.
"But still, where can we go? In case you've forgotten, every place we know is in ruins." Shin told him and Dean gave him a thumbs up.
"Don't worry, I already got that cover." Dean said, and they blink to hear that.
The Nexus Rangers uses the transporter to teleport in front of the temple, and when the energy died down Shin and Claire were wearing casual clothes along with Dean.
Shin was wearing a blue T-shirt that had a picture of a satellite on it with a white zip-up hoodie. He also wears jeans and white sneakers.
Claire was wearing a pink T-Shirt with a jean jacket with a white skirt with black stockings and brown boots.
Shin and Claire took a moment to study their surroundings to look at the architecture of the temple and other things.
"Man…Seeing this place in video is a thing, but seeing it in person is amazing." Claire said and Shin nodded in agreement.
"I see you have arrived on time."
Both Shin and Claire soon saw that Salamandinay along with Naga and Kaname were waiting. They then bowed their heads to the Nexus Rangers.
"Welcome, Sir Shin, Lady Claire." Salamandinay said and the Blue and Pink Rangers blink that she called them that.
"Sir?"
"Lady?"
"On behalf of the High Priestess and the Shrine Maidens, we welcome you to our home." Salamandinay continues on.
Claire then waved her hands.
"Hey, there's no reason for that. Also you don't have to be so formal with us, just treat us as you would with Dean." She told them, and Salamandinay chuckled before she and her subordinates raised their heads.
"Of course, my apologies." Salamandinay said.
"Guess you weren't exaggerating about the people here." Shin said to Dean.
"Yeah." Dean nodded before he whispers to the Blue Ranger. "But you definitely have to watch out for that princess. She has a way of mixing words."
But Salamandinay was able to hear that before she darkly smiled at Dean.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" She asked, Dean flinched before he straightened his posture.
"Nothing! Nothing at all!" Dean said, and Salamandinay chuckles.
Dean then coughs in his hand a few times before he turns back to Shin and Claire.
"Anyway, I figured since we're in a completely different world with a brand new culture, we might as well learn everything we can about the people in this era. Which is part of the reason why I contacted Salamandinay to help set things up." Dean explained to his teammates.
"I see." Shin said in understanding.
"It's the least I can do after everything Dean has done for us. I understand that this era is still new and confusing for the both of you, so I want to do everything I can to help to relieve you of your unease." Salamandinay said.
"But I won't force either of you to do this. You're free to return to the base if you need more time." Dean said.
"But if you do, just know that you'll always be welcome here." Salamandinay said.
Both Shin and Claire thought about it before Shin rubs the back of his head.
"Well…We just got here, so it would be rude for us to just leave after greeting us." Shin said.
"I guess that's true." Claire nodded.
Dean sighed in relief to hear that.
"That is good to hear. We should begin with a tour of the temple." Salamandinay said before Claire raised her hand.
"Actually, if it's alright, I think I'd rather explore the town for a bit." Claire requested.
"Yes, that's fine." Salamandinay nodded. "But if you want, I can call for an escort for you."
Claire shook her head.
"That's alright, thank you. I would rather be alone for now." Claire said before she walks away and heads to the town.
"Oh, Claire…" Dean said in worry for her before Salamandinay walked to his side.
"You truly worry about her, don't you?" She asked, and Dean nodded before he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Yeah. Truth be told, I'm not used to seeing her like this. Normally she would find ways to tease me or Shin about something like this." Dean said.
"Yeah…I'm pretty sure she mostly teases you." Shin stated, and Dean coughs to hear that.
"It seems like you two are closer than you seem. Almost like you're…" Salamandinay said as she gave Dean a narrow look.
Dean blinks a few times before he realizes what she means and quickly waved his hands.
"No, of course not! I don't see Claire like that! Especially since we're cousins." Dean said, and Salamandinay blinked.
"You're cousins?" Salamandinay asked, and Dean nodded.
"Yeah. Her full name is Claire Reilly. Both of our fathers are brothers, and we even share the same grandfather." He told her.
"I see. Then again, there is some resemblance between you two." Salamandinay said as she compared Dean's resemblance to Claire's.
"Yeah…We get that alot." Dean said as he rubbed the back of his head. "But I like to think I'm a bit more masculine than her."
Salamandinay chuckles to hear that.
"Don't worry, you are." Salamandinay said, Dean huffed as he turned away from the DRAGON Princess.
Salamandinay stopped chuckling before she placed a hand on her chest as she could feel a great weight being lifted from her shoulders.
'Strange…Why do I feel relieved about this?' Salamandinay thought.
Dean then noticed she was silent for a moment before he spoke to the DRAGON Princess.
"Hey, are you okay?"
Salamandinay flinches but quickly regains her composure and shows Dean a calm smile.
"Yes! I'm fine, anyway how about we start by showing Shin the temple." Salamandinay said before she heads to the temple with Naga and Kaname following her.
"Okay?" Dean said before he turned to Shin. "Any idea what happened, Shin?"
Shin rolled his eyes at his friend's cluelessness but pretended to be ignorant as he shrugged.
"No clue. Anyway, best that we don't keep them waiting." Shin said before he followed Salamandinay.
"Good point." Dean said before he followed him.
Claire was walking through the town and looked at the buildings along with people, some of them were staring at her.
"Hey, isn't that her? One of Sir Dean's comrades?"
"Yes, she must be. She doesn't have wings or a tail."
"Truth be told…I was really hoping that they were all men."
"Me too…"
Claire heard that which caused her to chuckle.
'Honestly…I doubt I'll never stop finding ways to tease Dean about this.' Claire thought.
While Claire wasn't looking, a group of kids were playing with a ball as they kicked it around but one of their kicks sent the ball heading towards the Pink Ranger.
"Oh no! Look out!" One of them shouted.
Claire turns to the ball heading towards her and she catches it with her hands.
"Whoa…that came out of nowhere." Claire said before the kids who were playing with the ball ran towards her.
"Oh dear, we're sorry. I hope you're not injured." One of them said.
Claire chuckles before she knelt down to the kids.
"Hey, it's alright. It wasn't even going that hard. But you should still learn from this and be more careful." Claire told them.
"We will." They bowed their heads.
That's when they notice the clothes that Claire was wearing and that she doesn't have wings or a tail on her back.
"Her clothes?"
"She doesn't have wings or a tail."
"Ummm…" One of them steps forward and it was the girl that Dean saved when he woke up and first fought against the Kaiser Empire.
She had long black hair and yellow eyes. Her clothes were mostly colored yellow.
"Yes, what is it?" Claire asked.
"You're…one of Sir Dean's allies, right?" She asked, and Claire nodded.
"That's right, I am." Claire answered, and the children smiled to hear that.
"I know it!"
"I thought they were all men, but it's amazing that they have women among them."
"Hey! You can transform like, Sir Dean, right?" One of them asked.
"Yes, that's right." Claire nodded.
"Then can you transform right now?" One of them asked as they were excited to see that.
"Yeah! We want to see the amazing things you can do!"
"You have a big toy too, right? Can we see that as well?"
Claire chuckled before she raised her hands.
"Hey, settle down. I can't answer all your questions at once." Claire told them and they complied. "But to answer some of them, I can't Morph or call upon my Zord."
They were disappointed to hear that.
"Aw…But why not?" They asked.
Claire then showed them her Morpher which was colored pink.
"You see this? This is called a Morpher. We're only allowed to use these for emergencies only. So I can't use it for your amusement." Claire told them, but they were disappointed about this. "But how about this?"
Claire stood up and spun the ball in her hands on top of her finger, seeing that amaze the kids.
"If you want, I can show you kids some ball tricks that I know." Claire offered.
"Yes, please!" They said in excitement.
Claire chuckles as she feels her spirit being lifted by their sweet innocent nature and smiles.
Salamandinay gave Shin a small tour in the temple, as they were walking through the hallways however, the Blue Ranger noticed that most of the female occupants were giving him some second glances which made him a bit uncomfortable, and Dean simply told him that he'll get used to it.
For the next part of their tour, Salamandinay brought Shin to the medical room.
"And here is the medical room." Salamandinay said and Dean was slightly afraid to be here again before the princess knocked on the door.
"Come in." A certain doctor told them before they opened the door and entered the room, where Dr. Gecko was waiting for them.
"Ah, Lady Salamandinay, welcome." Dr. Gecko said as she stood up and bowed her head.
"Hello, doctor." Salamandinay greeted her.
Dr. Gecko then sets her sights on Dean and quickly moves up to him.
"And Mr. Dean, it's so good to see you again!" Dr. Gecko said in excitement which made Dean a bit uncomfortable before she whispers to his ear. "You know…My offer still stands if you're now interested."
Dean quickly moved away from her.
"Like I said before, that's not happening." Dean refused, and Dr. Gecko pouted to hear that.
"Party pooper…" She mutters. Dr. Gecko then sets her sights on Shin. "Wait…Is this one of your comrades?!"
Dr. Gecko quickly moves up to the Blue Ranger and quickly grabs onto his face.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" Shin asked before the doctor closely examined his face.
"Oh, this is just perfect! Mr. Dean was handsome enough, but you're just as perfect as him!" Dr. Gecko said with sparkles in her eyes. "This is truly a miracle! Would you allow me to examine your body instead?! In the name of science of course."
Shin's eyebrow twitched before he quickly removed the doctor's hands off of his face and quickly moved away from her.
"Yeah, that's not happening either. I love science as much as the next guy, but I refuse to be your lab rat." Shin told her, and Dr. Gecko lowered her head at being shot down again.
"Not again…" Dr. Gecko said before Salamandinay placed a hand on her shoulder for comfort.
"There, there. I'm sure one day you'll find a man who will aid you…eventually." Salamandinay said.
"Forgive me, Your Highness…But that's not helping…" Dr. Gecko said.
Salamandinay chuckles before she turns to Shin.
"Also, Shin, Dean told me that you're a scientist, correct?" She asked, and Shin nodded.
"Yeah, that's right."
"Perfect. Then why don't look around her? I'm sure there are some things that will interest you." Salamandinay told the Blue Ranger.
Shin then looks at the items and machines in the room.
"I highly doubt that…" Shin said before one machine got his attention. "Wait, is that a bone sewer?"
The others turn to it as well. The bone sewer was a large machine that was big enough to contain an arm and a leg with hundreds of needle-like attachments on the inner side.
"Why, yes. You know what it is?" Dr. Gecko asked and Shin nodded.
"Yeah, of course." Shin said before he headed to the sewer and looked closely at it. "This is supposed to be used to repair broken bones with synthetic tissue, like how a sewing machine fixes clothing. These were still in the experimental stage in my time, but it looks you perfected this. How is this possible?"
"We have Lady Salamandinay to thank for that." Naga said and the others turned to her. "The Princess had studied the old world by using old data records from ruins that she personally excavated herself. She even managed to restore and replicate many things."
"Really?" Shin said in amazement.
"Please, it's hardly worth mentioning." Salamandinay said.
"Hey, don't sell yourself short. It's pretty amazing you were able to build this from old data." Shin said before another machine got his eye. "Is that a gene splicer?"
Shin moves to the said device while the others watch him. The gene splicer was a tail machine with a round platform along with mechanical tubes on the top.
"Yes, it is." Dr. Gecko said as she moved in front of the machine. "We often use this machine to help set adjustments to our genotype D control factor to help change between our human or DRAGON form."
"I see." Shin said before he placed a hand on the gene splicer and then the shape of his eyes changed into a bright bluish color with a robotic-like print before a blue aura of light appeared around his hand.
Salamandinay, Nage, Kaname, and Dr. Gecko were amazed by that before Shin spoke out.
"The designs you made for this are impressive, but I think I can make some improvements." Shin said before he stretched out and popped his fingers and flicked them.
Shin then claps his hands and swings them away which slowly and accurately breaks apart the gene splicer into pieces as they levitate around the Blue Ranger.
Salamandinay's group was once again amazed by this while Dean simply smirked.
"He just loves to show off." Dean remarked.
"Alright, now let's start with…this." Shin said before he brought a set of pieces in front of them and began to rearrange them. "Set wire and circuitree here and there and add this part here."
As Shin continues to rearrange the parts of the gene splicer while talking to himself, Salamandinay spoke with Dean about this.
"Ummm…Dean, care to explain about this?" Salamandinay asked.
"Oh, right. You've never seen this before. This is Shin's unique power. He's able to control machines in a form that's similar to that telekinesis. Not only that, but he's also able to contact any form of communication systems and long-range networks."
"Amazing…Are all people in your time able to do that?" Salamandinay asked.
"Well not exactly." Dean said before he explained. "Our exposure to the Morphin Grid's energy has altered our DNA which grants us special and unique powers."
"Really?" Salamandinay said and Dean nodded.
"Yeah." Dean said before he clenches his hand to bring forth his red energy around it. "For me, it's enhanced strength. I'm able to lift things that are ten times my own weight and height."
"I see. But what about Claire's?" Salamandinay said.
Using their ball, Claire showed off some tricks to the children she had befriended as she kicked it between her feet in mid-air before she kicked it up to her left hand and slid it on her shoulders and back to her right hand.
The kids were amazed by this.
She then bounces the ball into the air before she uses her forehead to catch and balance the ball on top of it. She then uses her forehead to bounce the ball up and down a few times before she sends it high in the air.
Then a pink aura of light appeared around her hands, and Claire brought forth a pink energy shield above the ball as it bounces on it when it makes contact.
Claire continues to create energy shields to bounce around the ball which amazed the kids once again.
"Claire's power allows her to create energy shields that could withstand pretty much anything." Dean told Salamandinay.
"That's truly amazing." Salamandinay said before she turns back to Shin as he continues to work on the gene splicer. "And just when I thought I've seen everything about you and your comrades."
"Yeah. We're just full of surprises." Dean chuckles before he watches Shin working. "But it was because of this, we trust Shin to handle all of the scientific and technological problems along with Pixel."
After a few minutes, Shin finally finished his adjustments and put the gene splicer back together. Shin breathes out and wipes his arm on his forehead.
"Alright, that would give it a better operating system without consuming too much energy. Check for yourself." Shin said.
Dr. Gecko moves to the splicer's computer parts and checks the systems and sees it was indeed what Shin had just told them.
"Operation system…200%?!" Dr. Gecko said in shock and the others were shocked to learn this as well.
"Truly?" Kaname said, and the doctor nodded.
"Yes. Not only that, the power consumption has dropped to 20%, but it will operate at maximum proficiency." Dr. Gecko said before Salamandinay took a look for herself.
"Incredible." Salamandinay said before she turned to the Blue Ranger. "I can see why Dean has great faith in your talents."
Shin chuckles before he pretends to push up a pair of glasses.
"Well not to brag or anything, but I did graduate from college from an early age with seven PhDs under my belt." Shin said.
'Pretty sure that's still bragging.' Dean thought.
But the others were left confused by this.
"College?" Kaname said.
"PhD?" Naga said.
Both Dean and Shin blink to hear that before they realize something.
"Oh…right. I guess you wouldn't know what those are. Sorry, just forget I even mentioned that." Shin told them before he whispered. "Sometimes it's easy to forget that we're in a new time now."
"Yeah, I know. I wonder if this is how the Time Force Rangers felt when they first traveled through time." Dean whispers back.
"Could be." Shin said.
Dr. Gecko then claps her hand, gaining their attention.
"In any case, if you're that confident in your skills, think you can improve upon some of the other equipment here?" She asked.
"Of course. I'm always up for a challenge or two." Shin said.
"Perfect!" Dr. Gecko said before she gave the Blue Ranger a sly smile. "And if you want, maybe we can…?"
"My answer is still no." Shin said with a narrow look knowing what she was about to ask which left Dr. Gecko disappointed once again.
After that, Shin took a look at the other machines in the room and used his powers to check their systems and find improvements for them.
As he was working, Dean noticed the smile on Shin's face which made him smile as well before Salamandinay moved to his side and saw the smile on his face as well.
"He truly looks much happier now." Salamandinay said and Dean nodded in agreement.
"Yeah. Thanks again for this. It really means a lot to me." Dean said.
"There's no need to thank me. It's the least I can do after everything you did for me and for my people." Salamandinay said.
"Well, either way, thank you." Dean said before he looked at Shin working on the medical equipment once again. "Here's hoping that we'll enjoy some peace and quiet for once."
(Meanwhile)
In the Kaiser Sphere, Prince Crimson had called upon another Commander to deal with the Rangers before he entered the room.
The commander had a red body with metal armor on torso, waist, and shoulders. He also had bullets attached beneath his chest plate along with metal boots. He also wears a slightly clear dark gray skull mask on his face.
"Hey! Hey! What's up you party animals?! Commander Arsenal is here to rock the house!" The commander said as he entered the room while doing an air guitar.
General Swartz sighed in annoyance before he gave the commander a stern look.
"Commander Arsenal, this is hardly the time to be playing around." He told him.
"Come on, General, there's no reason to be so uptight. You need to learn to relax, sucker!" Arsenal stated as he grabbed onto Swartz's hand and made the general clap hands two times followed with a fist bump.
Swartz pulled back his hand and glared at Arsenal.
"Why you…!" Swartz said as he was planning on punishing Arsenal for this disrespect.
"Enough!" Prince Crimson exclaimed which made Swartz stand down before he and Arsenal turned to him. "I know you two always have your issues, but this is hardly the time to fight amongst ourselves."
"Yes, Your Highness." Swartz bowed his head while Arsenal placed his hands behind his head and whistled.
"Did you really have to yell at me? I wasn't the one who was about to lose their temper." Arsenal said which caused Prince Crimson to glare at him as his eyes lit up, Arsenal flinched in fear and quickly bowed his head. "Sorry! I'm shutting up now!"
The prince sighed before he rested his head on his hand.
"There's no need for that, for it does not matter." He said which made Arsenal and Swartz raise their heads. "Commander Arsenal, we're sending you next to destroy the Rangers. I take it you're up for the job?"
Arsenal huffed to hear.
"Oh please, is that supposed to be a joke?" Arsenal asked before he brought out five coins between his fingers.
Arsenal then throws the coins into the air and his left arm changes into a machine gun-like weapon and fires bullets at the coins, and they collide against each other, the bullet ricochets from the coins and hits five Xedroids in the room before they fall to the ground and explode.
Swartz and even Prince Crimson were impressed by this before Arsenal's arm changed back to its normal form.
"You see that?" Arsenal said as he flicked his fingers. "There's not a target alive that won't dodge my aim and precision. Just give 20…No, 10 minutes and I'll come back with the Rangers' heads."
Prince Crimson chuckles.
"Fine, but I'm expecting results from you either way." Prince Crimson said.
"You got it!" Arsenal said before he does the air guitar again and leaves the room.
After he left, Cyber then spoke to the prince.
"Your Highness, I'll admit Commander Arsenal's record is indeed impressive but his destructive behavior is a bit concerning. Might I suggest…" Cyber said before Prince Crimson glares at him.
"Did I give you permission to speak, Cyber?" He asked which made Cyber flinches in fear. "Don't forget I'm still displeased about how your recent failure had brought two more Rangers to interfere in our mission. You should do well to remember your place. Am…I…Clear?"
Cyber quickly bowed his head.
"Crystal, Sire!"
"Good." Prince Crimson said before he turned away from the scientist.
Cyber was still concerned about how the prince is still angry about him after his actions and unintentionally awakened the Blue and Pink Nexus Rangers.
'This isn't good. If I don't produce results for him soon…I don't even want to imagine what he'll do.' Cyber thought as he needs to find a way to fix this soon.
After showing the kids all of the ball tricks that she knows, Claire decided to sit down and rest while the kids practice the tricks.
Seated beside her was the girl Dean had saved, who introduced herself as Lin. She told the Pink Ranger the story of how Dean had saved her life along with Salamandinay when the Kaiser Empire first attacked their home.
"I see. So Dean saved you along with that princess of yours." Claire said.
"Yes, and after that I gave him a flower to thank for it." Lin told her, and Claire then remembers seeing the said flower in the command room.
'So that's what it was.' Claire thought.
"Also," Lin said, getting Claire's attention. "You have a big machine, right? Like Sir Dean's?"
"You mean the Racer Zord, right?" Claire asked, and Lin nodded. "Then yes I do. It has a different design, but my Zord is pretty cool in its own right."
"That's amazing! I can't wait to see it!" She said in excitement.
Claire chuckles and rubs her head.
"All in due time. But Dean's Zord is still the best weapon that we have." Claire said and Lin blinked in confusion.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"Well, you see, the Racer Zord has a pretty awesome feature to it." Claire told her, and Lin was excited to hear that.
"Really?! What is it?" She asked.
Claire chuckles before she places a finger on her mouth.
"Sorry, but I would rather not spoil the surprise." Claire said and Lin pouted to hear that. Claire then pets her on the head. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll see it in due time. You just need to be patient until then."
"O-Okay." Lin said.
"Alright…" Claire said as she stood up. "I think I've rested long enough. How about I show you another trick that I know."
"Yes, please!" Lin said in excitement.
Both Claire and Lin were about to move to the other kids before they heard an explosion that was nearby.
"What the…" Lin said before they heard screaming.
"So much for that." Claire said before he knelt down and grabbed onto Lin's shoulders. "Lin, listen to me, I need you to take your friends to safety while I handle the bad monsters."
"I…Alright, but be careful." Lin said, Claire smirks and gives her a thumbs up.
"Don't worry. I'm a Power Ranger, fighting evil and saving the day is my job." Claire said before she stood up.
As Lin watched her leave, Lin prayed for her safety.
"Aura, please protect her and her friends."
In the temple, Dean, Shin, Salamandinay, and the others also heard the same explosion before they quickly opened the windows and saw several explosions appearing in one area in the town.
"Damn it…I just had to jinx it!" Dean said as he rubbed the side of his head.
"If jinxes are real." Shin said.
Dean then contacts Pixel with his Morpher.
"Pixel, we need a transport to the town!" Dean said.
"I'm already ahead of you!" Pixel said.
"Please be careful. Both of you." Salamandinay told them.
"Don't worry, we'll be just fine." Dean said before he and Shin used their Morphers to transport to where the enemy was attacking.
The townspeople were seen running away and screaming as Commander Arsenal fires at the buildings with his machine gun arm while laughing.
"That's right, suckers! Run like the little bugs that you are!" Arsenal laughs.
A mother and her child were running away together before one of Arsenal's attacks exploded behind them which sent them to the ground.
As the mother and child sat up, Arsenal set his sights on them.
"Hahaha. Fresh meat." Arsenal said as he aimed his gun arm at them.
The mother grabs hold of her daughter to use her body as a shield to protect before Arsenal fires at them.
Coming to their rescue was Claire as she jumped in front of Arsenal's bullet and created an energy shot to block them.
Arsenal was surprised by this before Claire lowered her shield and turned to the mother and daughter.
"Can you run?" Claire asked and the mother nodded. "Then go, I'll handle ugly over here."
"Thank you." The mother said as she stood up and picked up her daughter and ran away.
Claire turns back to Arsenal and the commander understands who she was.
"Oh, so I take it you're one of the Power Rangers, right?" He asked, and Claire nodded. "Perfect! Thanks for coming here babe! Now, I can-"
"Hey, buddy!" Someone calls out to Arsenal interrupting him.
Arsenal turned to the side and saw a large boulder heading towards him, which shocked before the rock smashed in front of him and sent him smashing into a wall.
Claire then saw the one who threw that boulder was Dean using his enhanced strength as he and Shin moved to the Pink Ranger.
"You okay, Claire?" Dean asked, and Claire nodded.
"Yeah. But did you really need to make an entrance like that?" Claire asked and Dean shrugged.
"What? Was it too flashy?" Dean asked.
"More like, too extreme." Claire said.
"Can we stay focused please?" Shin told them.
Arsenal manages to blast himself free from the rocks that were piled on top of him as he stands up and glares at the Rangers.
"Why you little punk! You're gonna regret doing that to me!" Arsenal exclaimed.
"We'll see about that. It's Morphin' Time!" Dean shouted before he, Shin, and Claire pressed the button on their Morphers to change them into their secondary modes.
They then bring out their respective Ranger Cards.
"Load Card!" They said at the same time before they loaded the Cards into their respective Morphers and pressed the middle button on them. "Access the Morphin Grid!"
(Morphing Sequence)
The Nexus Rangers were standing on a metal platform as machine parts and gears were moving all around them with energy in their respective colors beneath the said parts.
The screen on his Morpher turned on showing their Ranger forms along with their weapons and names.
They then thrust their hands forward which fired a beam in their respective colors and it soon formed into a holographic screen showing their respective Ranger forms and weapons with the words 'Commencing Morphing Sequence' on the bottom.
The platforms they were standing on opened and the Nexus Rangers jumped down in a tunnel of pure Morphin Grid in their colors.
As the Nexus Rangers fell in the tunnel, digital lines in their respective colors appeared as they moved around their bodies forming their Ranger suits before they landed on a gray floor which made a large crack filled with energy in their colors and the same energy was around forming a large space.
Finally, they stood up, digital lines appeared around their heads forming their helmets.

Inside a red space of energy, Dean raced down a roadway almost like he was a race car before he stopped and skids on the road, he then did a spin kick.
"Red Ranger Power, Nexus Red!" Dean declared as he swipes his thumb across his helmet.
Inside a blue space of energy, Shin jumped and rolled on the ground with the moon above him, he then stood on his feet and swung his hands in an animal-like motion.
"Blue Ranger Power, Nexus Blue!" Shin declared as he crossed his arms and assumed a beast-like stance.
Inside a pink space of energy, Claire spun around on foot with her arms stretched out spinning like a helicopter's propeller before she stopped and stood on both feet.
"Pink Ranger Power, Nexus Pink!" Claire declared as she swung her arms before she swung her left hand to the side and brought her right hand in front of her left shoulder.

"Nexus Rangers…!" Dean said before they struck another pose as they stood side-by-side.
Dean raised his left arm to show off his Morpher and brought his right fist to his waist.
On his right, Shin did a beast-like pose with his right arm forward and his left arm pulled back.
On his left, Claire raised his right arm upward and pointed her left arm downward.
"We stand united!" They shouted together before an explosion appeared behind them.
"Don't bet on that! I'll be the last one standing! Xedroids!" Arsenal calls out and a group of Xedroids appear to aid him.
The Nexus Rangers charge the Xedroid and they do the same before they battle against each other.
Claire was dodging some Xedroids' blade attacks by flipping above them before she landed on her feet. She then kicks one Xedroid on the head sending it to the ground, dodges another Xedroid's attack and pushes its arm down and lands a kick on it.
Claire then notices two Xedroids attacking at her on both sides, and she dodge their attacks by doing the splits, Claire then spun around and kicked on their legs sending the Xedroids to the ground before she stood up.
"Man, I'm good." Claire said.
A group of Xedroids were charging at Shin, the Blue Ranger assumed a beast-like stance and blue claws soon appeared on the tips of his fingers.
Shin then charges at the Xedroids, they soon attack the Blue Ranger but Shin dodges their attacks and slashes at them using his claws as they fall to the ground and when Shin slashes through the last two before the Xedroids explode.
"And that's what you get by cornering a wild animal." Shin said.
Dean punches one Xedroid in the face before dodging one's attack and punches on its chest three times.
Dean then kicks one Xedroid charging behind him, and dodges another Xedroid's attack and lands a reverse spin kick on its head sending it to the ground.
That's when Dean notices Arsenal firing bullets at him, the Red Ranger dodges his gunfire by jumping and spinning in the air.
When Dean lands on the ground, he faces Arsenal who was ready to fight him but that's when the commander notices the Blue and Pink Ranger standing to his sides after they had defeated the remaining Xedroids.
"You're alone now." Dean said but Arsenal huffed.
"I'm more than enough, sucker!" Arsenal said as he aimed his arm gun.
The Nexus Rangers were ready for his attack, but then Arsenal fired his gun in three different directions and away from the Nexus Rangers.
"What the…?" Dean said in confusion on why he would fire like that.
The bullets then ricochets from their intended targets which hits on the Nexus Rangers creating sparks from their suits.
"The bullets ricocheted?!" Shin said in shock.
"That's right! I'm the best sharpshooter in the Kaiser Empire! There's nothing I can't hit, baby!" Arsenal said as he fired ricochets shots which continued to hit the Rangers.
Arsenal then brings out a broken board sword and uses it to slash on the Rangers one at a time before he lands some shots on them as well.
The Nexus Rangers were forced to regroup as they stood in front of Arsenal as he laughed at them.
"Damn it…We're not going to beat him like this." Shin said.
"Then we just need to change things up." Dean said as he pulled out a Legendary Ranger Card.
Both Shin and Claire saw it was the Red Time Force Ranger's Card, and quickly understood what he was going to do.
"Oh I see. Smart move." Shin said as he pulled out the Blue Time Force Ranger Card and Claire did the same with the Pink Time Force Ranger Card.
"Load Legendary Ranger Cards! Time Force! Time for Time Force!" The Nexus Rangers said as they loaded the Cards into their Morphers and changed into the Time Force Rangers.
The Nexus Rangers simply walk to Arsenal who huffs at them.
"Please! Like that's going to change anything!" Arsenal said before he fired at the Rangers.
As the bullets head towards them, the Nexus Rangers use Time Force's time motion abilities to avoid them which shock Arsenal.
"What the…?" Arsenal said before the Nexus Rangers stood on their feet and brought out the Chrono Sabers.
"Chrono Sabers!" The Nexus Rangers said before they charged at Arsenal.
Arsenal slashes at the Red Ranger, and he blocks his sword with his Saber which gives Shin and Claire an opening to slash through Arsenal on both sides.
Arsenal grunted before he pushed back the Red Ranger and fired ricochet shots at the Rangers, and they dodge them once again which shocked Arsenal once again.
"I miss?! But I never miss!" Arsenal said before Dean slashes on his chest.
"First time for everything!" Dean said.
Then both Shin and Claire slashed on Arsenal several times before their last slash forced the commander to stumble back.
Then the Blue and Pink Ranger swung their arms to the side, and Dean used their arms to jump into the air.
"Time Strike!" Dean declared as he made a clock with the Chrono Sabers and slashes at Arsenal with both Sabers.
When Dean lands on the ground, Arsenal stumbles back before he falls to the ground and explodes.
"And that's that." Dean said before he and the other Rangers change back to their base forms.
(Meanwhile)
In the Kaiser Sphere, news of Arsenal's defeat had reached the leaders and Prince Crimson slammed his first on his armrest in rage.
"No! Not again!" He exclaimed before he turned to Cyber. "Cyber!"
"I know, activating the Kaiser Reanimator." Cyber said as he activated the Reanimator, and it soon shot down and headed towards Arsenal's remains.
The Nexus Rangers then saw the beam landing on top of Arsenal's remains as it revived the commander and turned him into a giant.
"Hell yeah! Guess who's back and bigger than ever?!" Arsenal shouted.
The Nexus Rangers look up at the giant Arsenal.
"Oh come on. Why do they always make them big?" Claire said in annoyance.
"Don't look at me. I wasn't the one who came up with this." Shin said.
"This is really the time, you guys. We need to move." Dean told them, and they nodded in agreement.
The three Nexus Rangers then bring out their respective Zord Cards.
"Load Card!" They said as they loaded the Cards into their Morphers and pressed the Zord button.
"Deploy, Nexus Racer Zord!"
"Nexus Wolf Zord!"
"Nexus Chopper Zord!"
The three Zords move towards their respective energy pathways and soon appear in the outside world and the Nexus jumps and enters their respective Zords.
The Nexus Rangers was now in their Zords' cockpits and attached their Morphers close to their controls.
"Access Controls!"
Then the Nexus Racer Zord changes into its Battle Mode.
"Nexus Racer Zord, Battle Mode!"
The Zords soon faced Arsenal and he was ready to fight them before five Xe-Bots appeared to his side and were ready to fight as well.
"Get them!" Arsenal commanded before he and the Xe-Bots charged at the Zords and they did the same.
Two Xe-Bots fire at the Wolf Zord with their blaster arms, the Wolf Zord dodges their blaster fire.
"Firing blaster!" Shin said as he pressed the trigger on his controls.
The Wolf Zord fires its blasters at the Xe-Bots dealing some damage, it soon jumps at the Xe-Bots and attacks them with its claws before it jumps away from them as the bots fall to the ground and explode.
The Chopper Zord was flying in the air as the Xe-Bots fire at it with their blaster arms, the Chopper Zord avoids their shots.
"Here's some payback." Claire said before she pressed the trigger on her controls to fire laser blasts at the Xe-Bots.
She then made the Chopper Zord charge straight at them, another Xe-Bot with drill arms attack the Pink Ranger's Zord as it thrusts its drill at it, and Claire skillfully dodges its attacks and used the Chopper Zord's rotor blades to cut through all three of them.
"All too easy." Claire said.
Arsenal swung his sword at the Racer Zord and it blocked it with its arm, the Racer Zord pushed it back and landed two punches on Arsenal's chest forcing him to stumble back.
"Grr…Take this!" Arsenal said before he fires at the Racer Zord using his machine gun arm.
The Racer Zord took some hits as sparks appeared in front of it, and Dean could feel the cockpit shaking.
Arsenal laughed as he was ready to fire at the Racer Zord once again but stopping him was the Wolf Zord as it jumped onto Arsenal and attacked with its fangs and claws.
"Hey! Knock that off!" Arsenal exclaimed before he threw the Wolf Zord off of him and the Wolf Zord landed on its feet as it skids back.
Arsenal then fires at the Wolf Zord using his machine gun arm, but coming to its aid was the Chopper Zord as it uses its rotor blades to block his gunfire.
"Seriously?!" Arsenal said in shock before the Racer Zord lands a punch on his head forcing the commander to stumble back.
When he stops, Arsenal turns to the Racer Zord before the Wolf Zord and Chopper move to its right and left side respectively.
"Damn you…You pathetic Rangers! Do you really think you can beat the Kaiser Empire?! The Empire's reign lasted for over hundreds of years and has conquered most of the galaxy! We're an army of a thousand legions strong! And you're only a pathetic three! You can never win!" Arsenal told them in anger.
Not going to let that slide, Dean calls out to Shin and Claire.
"Hey, Shin, Claire. How about we show him and the Kaiser Empire what a pathetic three can do?" Dean asked.
"You got it!" Claire said.
"Did you even have to ask?" Shin asked.
Dean then pulls out a card, and it has a picture of a combination between the Racer, Wolf, and Chopper Zords.
"Load Megazord Card!" Dean said as he loaded the Card into his Morpher. "Initiate, Triad Formation!"
Then appearing on the screen were the words 'Initiate Megazord Sequence - Triad Formation' and the same words appeared on Shin and Claire's Morphers as well.
(Megazord Sequence)
The Nexus Racer Zord was running forward in a tunnel of energy before it ran out of the tunnel and now runs on top of a bridge with the sun shining above it.
Then running to the Racer Zord's right side was the Nexus Wolf Zord as it howled and then the Nexus Chopper Zord appeared as it flew beside the left side of the Racer Zord.
The Racer Zord's arms then fold into a flat position before they move to the back and show a component that was connected between the arms and torso.
The Wolf Zord howls as the weapon on its back detaches and flies forward, it then jumps, and its legs folded into its body and it soon attaches itself to the Racer Zord to form a right arm.
Then the Chopper Zord's tail rotor detaches from its body before it attaches to the Racer Zord's left side to form the left arm before the area beneath its windshield opens which reveals a black hand as it flickers open and clenches into a fist.
Then the Chopper Zord's tail rotor splits open revealing pink parts and attaches itself in front of the Racer Zord's waist.
Then the top corners on the Racer Zord's engine pops open revealing two black jewels before the right jewel turns blue and the left jewel turns pink.
Then the Racer Zord stops running as it skids on the road.
With that the Nexus Rangers pull out their Morphers from the controls before they teleport to the Racer Zord's head.
They soon arrived in a massive cockpit with three platforms in the Nexus Rangers Rangers before they stood on their respective spots.
The cockpit they were standing on was purely colored white with red, blue, and pink glowing markings around them and on the wall behind them was a large version of their symbol.
The three Nexus Rangers then attached their Morphers to a slot part that was beside them.
"Access Controls!" With that, the words 'Nexus Megazord, Controls Accessed' appeared on the screen of their respective Morphers.
Then the combined version of their Zords move its parts. The Zord crossed its arms and swung its arms before a burst of power exploded behind it.
"Nexus Megazord - Triad Formation!" The Nexus Rangers declared.
(End of sequence)
Everyone in the town and the temple were in shock and awe as they looked at the combined form of the three Nexus Rangers' Zords.
"Amazing…" Salamandinay said.
As Lin looks at the Megazord she then remembers what Claire told her about the Racer Zord's hidden feature.
"Well, you see, the Racer Zord has a pretty awesome feature to it."
'So, this is what she meant.' She thought.
The Nexus Megazord was ready to battle Arsenal as the commander huffs as he looks at it.
"Please! Like that would change things!" Arsenal said before he charged at the Megazord.
The Megazord also charges at Arsenal.
The giant Arsenal then fires at the Megazord.
"Chopper Shield!" The Nexus Rangers said as they brought their left arms in front of their bodies.
Responding to their motion and commands, the Megazord brought its left arm forward and the rotor blades of the Chopper Zord spin rapidly which deflected the bullets that were heading towards it.
"Dang it! I forgot about that! But let's see how you'll stop this!" Arsenal said before he jumped and swung his sword down at the Megazord.
"Wolf Bite!" The Nexus Rangers shouted as they threw in a right punch.
In response to their command, the Nexus Megazord throws in a punch with its wolf head as it opens its mouth and catches Arsenal's sword as it bites onto it.
"What the…?!" Arsenal said as he tries to pull his sword out but the Megazord's wolf head refuses to let go.
Then the Nexus Rangers swung their right arm with a twist, and with that the Megazord swung and twisted its left arm which broke Arsenal's sword in half and was forced to stumble to the side.
When Arsenal stops stumbling, he looks at his now broken sword in horror.
"Oh, no! My precious sword!" He said in dismay.
That's when the Megazord lands two kicks on Arsenal's chest and back followed by a punch from its left hand forcing the commander to stumble back.
"Fine! I don't need this to beat you!" Arsenal said as he threw away his sword. "I'm still a walking arsenal!"
Arsenal transforms his right arm into a sword and charges at the Megazord.
Arsenal slashes at the Megazord twice, and dodges it attacks before it counters by kicking on Arsenal two times followed with a left punch which forces the commander to stumble back.
The Nexus Megazord then charges at Arsenal, he then fires at it but the Megazord uses its Chopper Shield to deflect his bullets once again, and once it was close enough the Megazord lands two punches on Arsenal's chest forcing him to stumble back once again.
"Alright, how about we take things up a notch?" Claire asked the Red and Blue Rangers.
"You just read my mind." Dean said before he pressed a sword button on his Morpher's screen. "Deploy, Nexus Saber!"
"Deploy, Nexus Blaster!" Shin said as he did the same with his own Morpher by pressing on a blaster button.
The words 'Deploying Nexus Saber' and 'Nexus Blaster' appeared on their respective screens.
Then appearing in the Megazord's right hand is the Nexus Saber and appearing in the left hand was the Wolf Zord's blaster gun.
"Hey, that's my thing! I'm gonna sue you for copyrights!" Arsenal said.
"Sue this!" The Nexus Rangers said as they raised their left arm and forward. "Nexus Blast!"
The Nexus Megazord soon aimed and fired its blaster at Arsenal, landing some hits.
The Megazord then charges and lands two slashes on Arsenal chest.
Arsenal counters by slashing at the Megazord with his arm sword and the Megazord soon does the same as their weapons clash and enter the bladed lock.
The two were even ground, the Nexus Rangers roared before they swung their right arm to the side.
The Megazord's visor lit up as it opens to move forward while pushing Arsenal and the Megazord pushed his sword to the side and slashes on the commander's chest forcing him to stumble away.
"Activate, Cannon Mode!" Shin said before he pressed the cannon button on his Morpher's screen.
Then the Nexus Blaster changes to its cannon mode, the Megazord then aims its cannon and fires a single powerful energy shot at Arsenal which hits on his chest and sends him rolling on the ground.
"It's time to finish this! Super Nexus Blaster!" Dean called out and raised his hand.
The Super Nexus Blaster soon appeared, and Dean grabbed onto it as Arsenal slowly stood back up.
Dean soon ready the Super Nexus Blaster, Shin and Claire pulled their own Blasters before the three Nexus Rangers aimed their Blasters at Arsenal.
"Nexus Megazord, Triad Final Attack!" They said before they fired at the commander.
Using its Nexus Saber, the Nexus Megazord slashes at Arsenal three times forming an upside-down energy triangle and fires with its Nexus Blaster firing an energy which was enhanced by the triangle.
In turn, Arsenal was slashed three times which formed the same triangle before the blast was shot into his body.
"Dang it! I hate losing but at least I'm going out in a bang!" Arsenal shouted as he fell to the ground and exploded.
The Nexus Megazord turned away from the as it pointed its blaster upward and swung the Saber downward.
"Never underestimate humans!" The Nexus Rangers said at the same time.
In the Kaiser Sphere, Prince Crimson was once again upset by Arsenal's second defeat by the Rangers' Megazord.
"Damn it!" He shouted as he slammed his fist on his armrest. "Not again…"
Prince Crimson along with General Swartz and Cyber looks at the Nexus Megazord as it was on the large screen.
"And that machine…How is it that these Rangers always have a means to best us?!" Prince Crimson exclaimed in pure rage as he unleashed a burst of energy that shattered the screen.
"My prince…" Swartz said in worry.
Prince Crimson stood up and left the room.
"This is concerning. I can only imagine how frustrated he is about this." Swartz said and Cyber nodded.
"I concur with that. We also need to be concerned about how he'll react if the Emperor learns about this." Cyber said.
"Indeed." Swartz nodded in agreement. "We must find a way to settle this before that even comes to fruition."
(Later)
After the battle, the sun was beginning to set in the town and watching it were the three Nexus Rangers as they were seated on the steps that lead towards the temple.
"This is nice. Even in a brand-new world, the sunset is still the same." Claire said.
"You can say that again." Shin nodded in agreement.
"Yeah." Dean said.
Dean then took a moment to look at their smiling faces and could tell they were starting to feel better than they did when they woke up and after learning what happened 500 years ago.
"You know, despite what happened, I'm glad you two are starting to feel better." Dean said.
Both Shin and Claire blink at first before they understand what he means. Claire sighed and rubbed the back of her head.
"I guess Pixel told you, huh?" Claire said.
"No…I say that we were just that obvious." Shin said.
"It was actually both." Dean said before he stood up. "But look, I get it. When I first woke up, I had a hard time adjusting to this time, and I don't mean the stares from the women here."
"I wasn't even going to say something about that." Claire whispers to Shin.
"But you were thinking about it, right?" Shin asked, and Claire turned away and whistled. "That's what I thought."
Dean coughs in his hand.
"Regardless, I spent most of the time here thinking I was alone. But then I met Salamandinay along with her friends, they accepted and helped me adjust to this new era. And then I found out you two were still alive. I really can't tell you how happy I was to learn about that. And I know things won't be easy, but at least we still have each other. So as long as we have that, I just know we'll overcome anything as long as we work together like we always do." Dean told them.
Both Shin and Claire think about it, they then remember the people they had befriended in this time and how they protected the town from Arsenal.
Claire then slaps her hands on her cheeks before she stands up.
"Yeah, you're right. We can't be depressed forever. Aaron and Alisa are still out there, and the people here need our help. We may not have family, but at least we still have each other, we're a family in our own right." Claire said.
"Well, I say we're pretty much a dysfunctional family, but we're still a family." Shin said as he stood up. "At least we still have that."
Dean smiles to hear that.
"Thanks, I'm glad to hear that." Dean said.
The Nexus Rangers then chuckles with each other. Then the Blue Ranger turns to the ruin Dracunium reactor that was now renamed the Tower of Aura.
"Besides that, however, I really don't like the idea that Embryo is still out there planning who knows what. There's no way in hell I'll let his insanity destroy another world. Not while I'm still breathing." Shin said before he turned back to his friends.
Dean and Claire nodded in agreement.
"Alright! Then I guess that settles it." Claire said before she raised her hand forward. "Rangers together, right?"
Dean chuckles as he places his hand on top of Claire's.
"You can say that again." He said before Shin placed his hand on top of Dean's hand.
"Yeah. Win or lose, at least we're in this together. Not that we'll ever lose again." Shin said before they did a fist bump with each other.
Salamandinay along with Naga and Kaname were watching them, Kaname wipes away some tears on her eyes as this was a bit heartwarming for her and Naga simply smiles to see this.
Salamandinay smiles to see Dean being happy that he was reunited with his friends and that he was able to lift up their spirits.
