After sleeping for over 500 years, the Nexus Rangers had found that their world had completely changed and was under the attack by universal conquerors known as the Kaiser Empire. After meeting the Children of Aura, the Rangers learn that their old enemy Embryo had traveled to another dimension, ruling it in the shadows. How will they handle it? Well...It's Morphin' Time!

12. Chapter 12: The Power of Five

Chapter 12: The Power of Five

After he had returned to the other Earth, Kurt had arrived in a dark room before he demorphs out of his Ranger form.

Kurt's clothes consist of a black shirt with a white trench coat and wears white pants with black shoes.

Kurt then saw his master, Embryo, was in the room to greet his servant.

"Welcome back, Kurt. How was your reunion?" Embryo asked.

"It was adequate. Allow me to thank you again for heeding my selfish request." Kurt said.

"You have no reason to thank me, Kurt. There's no doubt in my mind that young Dean had his worries whether you were alive or not. I just wanted to relieve his doubts a bit." Embryo told him.

"I presume that was the cause, and I must agree with you about that. But either way I'm eternally grateful to you as I always have been." Kurt said.

"Then I'm glad to hear that. But Dean wasn't the only surprise you found in the DRAGONs' world, correct?" Embryo questions.

"You are indeed correct, Master. During my battle with Dean, I also encountered the other Rangers. They also survived the D-War." Kurt told him, and Embryo blinked to hear as he was a bit surprised by this.

"You don't say. Very interesting." Embryo said before he smiled.

"You don't seem to worry about it." Kurt pointed out and Embryo smiled at him.

"Oh please, Kurt. Have you ever known me to be worried about anything?" Embryo said before he goes on. "Even if the others had survived or not, it wouldn't change the outcome. Soon everything will fall into place, and the new world will be born."

"I suppose that's true. Please forgive me for asking then, sir." Kurt said.

"It's fine. But still, there's no doubt that we'll face a troubling time in the future. With the Rangers' return, these insurgents running around, along with Alektra no doubt having her own plans, we have no end of obstacles ahead of us. Can I count on your assistance as always, Kurt?" Embryo questions his servant and the White Ranger bowed before his master.

"Of course. After all, you did create me to serve your will." Kurt told him, and Embryo smiles to hear that.

"Good. Then let us make haste." Embryo said before he leaves the room and walks in the hallway with Kurt following him. "We have much work to do."

(Instrumental) (As the song starts, two Earths appear one at a time before they collide against each other creating a flash of light which blinded the screen.)

(Sono te nobashi te mabayui ashita o tsukamitore! Mugen no sora hamatake Believe in Nexus!) (Five of the Nexus Zords had appeared as the Racer, Wolf, and Dozer Zords were racing on a large road while the Chopper and Falcon Zords were flying above them before they turned into a flash of light and flew into the vast open sky before the story's title appeared on screen.)

(Araburu kono shoudo daremino tomiranai!) (The Nexus Rangers were standing on a hill as they looked at the town where the Children of Aura resides as some of them in DRAGON form flew above them as they watched them in awe.)

(Hiri asa mi kirikou o taka maru kono Heart Beat!) (Then it changes to a split screen with Salamandinay looking at her Enryugo as it was still incomplete, and Ange who was in her room in Arzenal as she was seated on her bed while looking at her ring, before it changes to Embryo and behind him was a man hidden in darkness holding a Morpher in his hand.)

(Bi chinai sou o natato sekawaerai!) (Then it changes showing an army of Xedroids and behind them were Prince Crimson, General Swartz, and Cyber.)

(Koko de oarasatakunai Go For It!) (Next the screen changes to the Rangers commencing their Morphin Sequence as they Morph into their suits before their helmets appeared.)

(Tachiagare kodoku ni obiekuru e naide!) (The screen changes showing a fleet of Xe-Fighters and an army of Xe-Bots charging forward to attack, then changes to the Nexus Rangers loading their Zord Cards into their Morphers as they soon appear, and the Rangers jump into them.)

(Nakama ma batte irukoto mou ichido omoidase!) (In his cockpit, the Nexus Red Ranger inserts his Battle Mode Card into his Morpher and his Racer Zord changes into the said mode.)

(Kowaku wa naisa akirame wa shinai donna tsugoi yatsu ni mo make wa shinai itsudatte o kino yuuki de Believe In Nexus!) (Then each of the Nexus Zord launch respective attacks on their enemies before the Kaiser Sphere in the sky. Then the Zords combine forming the Nexus Prime Megazord, and then energy appears around the Megazord before it flies at the Kaiser Sphere to attack and when it collides against the Sphere a large flash of light appears blinding the screen. Then it changes to both Earths before the Nexus Rangers along with the villain leaders appeared as they faced each other.)

A week has passed after Kurt's attack on the True Earth.

In the Kaiser Sphere, Prince Crimson along with General Swartz and Cyber were looking at an image of the singularity that appeared above the town which the White Ranger himself had used to travel between worlds.

"Well Cyber, were you able to learn anything about this portal?" Prince Crimson asked, and Cyber nodded.

"Indeed, I have, Your Highness. Upon further analysis I can determine without a doubt that this portal is a dimensional gateway that leads to a parallel universe." Cyber told them which shocked Prince Crimson and General Swartz.

"What?" General Swartz said.

"And you're truly certain of this?" Prince Crimson questions, and Cyber nodded once again.

"Yes. Believe me, I was surprised as you are to learn about this. I only heard rumors about the multiverse and didn't believe in them, until now that is." Cyber said as he looked at the singularity.

Prince Crimson looked at the singularity as well and was in deep thought about this.

'Could my father know about this? Was that the true reason why he sent us here?' Prince Crimson thought to himself.

"So you think this White Ranger came from this parallel universe?" General Swartz asked, and Cyber nodded.

"Indeed. It's most likely he's from an alternate Earth and base from what we saw, it would be safe to assume there are hostilities between both worlds." Cyber said.

General Swartz hummed by this.

"Then this whole incursion of Earth has been nothing but surprises lately." He said before he turned to the Prince. "How do you think we should proceed with this, Your Highness?"

Prince Crimson thought about and remembers how the White Ranger was close to destroying the Red Ranger if the others hadn't interfered against him, but that gave him an opportunity he can't ignore. The Prince then turns to Cyber.

"Cyber, is there a way for us to contact this other universe?" Prince Crimson asked.

"It will take some time, but yes, contact will be a simple matter for me." Cyber said. "But why would you ask though?"

"What exactly do you have in mind, sire?" General Swartz asked.

Prince Crimson chuckles at them.

"Well, you know the old saying. The enemy of my enemy, would be an asset." Prince Crimson told them. "But for now, let's see if we can deal with the Rangers in the meantime."

In the Nexus Rangers' base, Dean was seen walking in the hallway as he yawned in front of his mouth. He was heading towards the dining room to have some breakfast, but stopped as he saw that Claire was standing close to the training room's door as it was now open with Claire looking inside of the room.

Curious about this, Dean approached his cousin and spoke to her.

"Claire, what are you doing?" He asked.

Claire simply pointed inside of the training room, Dean looked inside and saw that Alisa was inside.

Alisa was standing in the center of the training room with Pixel beside her, the AI then used her keyboard to bring out 20 holographic green disks around the Yellow Ranger as they moved around her.

Alisa then inhales deeply and exhales before she opens her eyes and begins to skillfully punch and kick the disks around her as they turn red, and after attacking the last disk, Pixel brings out the timer showing Alisa's score.

Score: 20/20

Accuracy: 94%

Time: 00:54:07

"Nice. A twenty out of twenty, and you got it done in 54.7 seconds." Pixel said.

"I can do better. Run it again." Alisa said.

"Okay…" Pixel said before she resets the training simulation and Alisa begins attacking the disks once again.

As Dean and Claire watch her, they are a bit worried about Alisa. This training simulation was the Yellow Ranger's personal favorite to help keep her skills and reflexes sharp, but after Kurt's attack, the other Rangers would often find her here doing her personal training simulation several times a day.

"Again? Isn't this the seventh time in the row?" Dean said.

"Yeah. Plus, she kept this up for over a week now." Claire said.

As they were talking, Alisa once again finished the training simulation. Her score and accuracy was the same as before except for the time, she had beaten her previous record by four seconds.

"50.2 seconds. A new record." Pixel said. But Alisa still isn't satisfied by this.

"Run it again." Alisa said.

While concerned about this, Pixel once again resets the training simulation and Alisa attacks the disks once again.

"I guess she still hasn't gotten over the whole Kurt thing." Dean said as he rubbed the back of his neck, and Claire rolled her eyes.

"What was your first clue?" Claire asked a rhetorical question.

Alisa once again finished the training simulation, and only this time she got a better score.

Score: 20/20

Accuracy: 97%

Time: 00:43:12

Both Alisa and Pixel look at the score while Pixel was surprised by this, Alisa could grit her teeth.

"Run it again." Alisa said and Pixel blinks to hear that.

"But Alisa, you were seven seconds faster than…" Pixel said.

"Just run it again, Pix!" Alisa exclaimed, and Pixel flinches before she types on her keyboard once again.

"Okay, okay. No reason to yell at me." Pixel said before she resets the simulation and Alisa once again punches and kicks at the green disks.

Both Dean and Claire only grew more concern about this.

"Do you think we should try to do something?" Dean asked, but Claire shook her head.

"No. You should know that women can be complicated people. We should probably just give her some space until she's ready to talk about it." Claire told her.

"I really hope you're right." Dean said as they continue to watch over Alisa as she continues to train.

In the Kaiser Sphere, Prince Crimson had called upon one of their Commanders to fight the Rangers. The Commander soon arrived as the door opened.

The Commander resembles a humanoid parrying mantis, his body was colored green with some yellow, he also wears black bands on his forearms and shins. He also has small extra arms on his torso and mantis-shape blades attached to his hands.

"Hey, Scyther's the name! And don't you forget it!" Scyther declared as he entered the room while sharpening his blades against each other.

"It's about time you showed up, Commander Scyther." Prince Crimson said, and Scyther turned to the prince and bowed his head.

"A pleasure to be here, Your Highness. I'm quite honored that you called upon me." Scyther said before he raised his head. "I'm also aware that you need me to cut up the Rangers, right?"

"Indeed." Prince Crimson nodded. "But tell me this, do you have what it takes to finish them?"

Scyther scoffs to hear that before he turns to a nearby Xedroid and gestures to it to come to him.

"You get over here." Scyther ordered the Xedroid.

The Xedroid obeyed as it moves in front of the Commander, Scyther then sharpens his blades together before he uses them to skillfully slashes on the droid several times.

For a moment the Xedroid seems fine before it was cut into pieces and falls to the ground which exposes its circuitry and wiring as sparks appear. Scyther chuckles as he looks down at it before he turns to the prince.

"How's that, Your Highness?" Scyther said, and Prince Crimson shrugged as he was slightly impressed.

"I suppose that was a good show. Head down to the surface with a squad of Xedroids and attack a nearby village or two. And once the Rangers appeared, cut them to ribbons." Prince Crimson told him and Scyther bowed his head.

"As you command." Scyther said before he left the room to head to the Earth.

"Hmmm…" General Swartz hummed before he spoke to the prince. "You seem oddly calm about this, Your Highness?"

"Well truthfully I can hardly care if Scyther succeeds or not. When Cyber finds a way to contact this other universe, then I no doubt the Rangers would pose a problem. But if he does end up destroying them…Well it would be a good moment to savor." Prince Crimson chuckles.

After doing her training simulation several more times, Alisa took a moment to rest as she pants and rested her hands on her knees while her sweat drops to the floor.

Alisa then looks at her score.

Score: 20/20

Accuracy: 88%

Time: 00:37:52

Alisa could only grit her teeth in frustration, even though she beat her old time, she was frustrated on how her accuracy had dropped.

She then remembers a certain memory with Kurt.

(Flashback)

After going searching through the simulation room's many training programs, Alisa had found one that was simple yet effective.

It was the very training simulation that would one day be her favorite. When she first tried it, she didn't have a good score. After a few days, she was starting to get better at it, but has yet to get a perfect score.

After doing the simulation a few times, Alisa took a moment to rest and catch her breath while wiping off some sweat on her forehead before she looked at her score.

Score: 11/20

Accuracy: 69%

Time: 01:01:44

Alisa couldn't help but feel frustrated by that score and wonders how to improve herself.

"Dang it…Just what am I doing wrong?" Alisa said to herself.

"I think it's because you're trying too hard." A familiar voice said behind her.

Alisa turned around and saw it was Kurt who was watching her as he was standing by the door.

Alisa rolled her eyes in annoyance and turned away from the White Ranger.

"And what exactly do you mean by that?" Alisa asked before Kurt walked to her.

"Well, I think you're too set on getting a perfect score rather than focusing on the task at hand. Remember what Max said. A Ranger needs to be calm and focused at all times." Kurt said.

Alisa sighs.

"Yes, yes. I'm aware. Anything else you want to share, master?" Alisa asked, and Kurt hummed in thought and soon had his answer.

"Well..you can be stiff pretty much all the time." Kurt said and Alisa blushed to hear that before she shouted at him.

"What?! I'm not stiff!"

"Oh please, how long do we know each other, Alisa? Nine years?" Kurt questions.

"Ten." Alisa corrected.

"Oh right." Kurt said before he coughs in his hand. "But I still know you pretty well enough, that you take a lot after your father."

"You really do sound like my mother." Alisa pouted. "Then how about you give it a shot?"

Kurt blinks before he has a confident smile.

"Alright. Don't mind if I do." Kurt said before he walked to the center of the training room and Alisa stepped away to give him some room.

Kurt then resets the simulation, and the 20 holographic disks appear and move around the White Ranger.

Kurt then assumes his stance and soon begins punching and kicking the disks with skillful movement, speed, and precision.

After hitting the 20th/final disk, Kurt stops before he and Alisa look at his score.

Score: 20/20

Accuracy: 100%

Time: 00:32:47

Alisa was surprised that Kurt had a perfect score and a good time on the simulation before he smiled at her.

"And there you have it. You always tend to be perfect and would often tense up because of it. You need to learn to be more relaxed and flexible." Kurt told her.

(End of flashback)

Alisa then grits her teeth before she turns to Pixel who was looking at the score.

"Pix…" Alisa calls and the AI turns to her before she sighed.

"Let me guess, run it again?" Pixel said.

"No. You can go now. I'm going to take a shower." Alisa told her, and Pixel was surprised by that.

"Really? Are you sure?" Pixel asked, and Alisa nodded.

"I am."

"Okay." Pixel said before she leaves the room.

After Alisa had left the training room, she soon returned to her room as she took off her sweaty clothes and took a shower. As the hot water rained on top of her head and body, she remembered another memory of Kurt.

(Flashback: 500 years ago)

In the city, explosions had appeared as it was attacked by a large group of monsters. Then appearing and charging at the monsters were the Nexus Rangers, in Ranger form, along with Kurt.

Then the Rangers battle the monsters as they attack them.

Alisa could be seen using her martial arts prowess against the monsters, but when she wasn't looking one of the monsters aimed a long range at the Yellow Ranger while she wasn't looking.

When Kurt attacks a monster with his Lion Knuckle, he soon notices what was happening before the monster fires at Alisa.

"Alisa!" The White Ranger calls out as he rushes towards her.

"Huh?" Alisa said as she turned to the incoming attack heading towards.

Then as Kurt grabs onto her, the attack explodes in front of them and the last thing Alisa sees is darkness.

But despite the darkness she could hear the sound of her friends fighting and a certain someone's voice.

"Alisa…Alisa!"

Alisa, without her helmet, slowly begins to open eyes and sees Kurt's face right in front of her. Alisa then smiles at Kurt in gratitude.

"Thanks for the save, Kurt." She said, and the White Ranger smiled at her.

"I'll always protect you. Even if the world comes to an end." Kurt told her.

(End of flashback)

Alisa grits her teeth and punches on the wall with one first at a time before she places her forehead on it as well.

"Dammit Kurt…why…why did you do it?" Alisa mutters to herself.

That's when she heard the alarms going off which snaps Alisa out of her train of thought as she turns around.

---

After drying herself and putting on a fresh pair of clothes, Alisa soon arrived in the command room where her friends were waiting for her.

"Oh, Alisa." Claire said before she moves in front of the computer.

"Heard the alarm. What's the situation?" Alisa asked.

"Did you really need to ask?" Pixel said before she uses her computer to bring out a video of Commander Scyther leading a squad of Xedroids to attack a village.

"Yeah. Guess that was stupid of me to ask." Alisa said.

"I got their location. They're attacking a village on the coastline." Pixel said.

"Alright. Then let's go." Alisa said as she was about to head to the transporter, but Dean stopped her by grabbing onto her arm.

"Hold on, Alisa. Are you sure you're up for this?" Dean asked, and Alisa sighed before she removed his hand.

"Dean, I'm fine. My head is in the game, and we have a job to do." Alisa said before she headed to the transporter.

"Okay then." Dean said before he and others walked on top of the transporter and used it to transport to the area of attack.

The villagers were running away from Scyther and his squad of Xedroids as they continued their attack with the Commander laughing at them as they ran.

"Hahaha! That's right! Run like the pathetic life forms that you are!" Scyther told them as he continued to lead his attack.

But that's when the Commander and the Xedroids saw the Rangers appearing in front of them which forced them to stop and look at them.

"Oh goodie! The Power Rangers, just the people I wanted to see. I hope you're ready for your destruction!" Scyther said as he sharpened his blades against each other.

"We'll see about that. It's Morphin' Time!" Dean said before he and the others pressed the button on their Morphers to change their forms.

The Nexus Rangers then pulled out their Cards and the slots of their Morphers opened.

"Load Card!"

The Nexus Rangers load the Cards into their Morphers and press the middle button.

"Access the Morphin Grid!"

(Morphing Sequence)

The five Nexus Rangers were standing on a metal platform as machine parts and gears were moving all around them with energy in their respective colors beneath the said parts.

The screen on his Morpher turned on showing their Ranger forms along with their weapons and names.

They then thrust their hands forward which fired a beam in their respective colors and it soon formed into a holographic screen showing their respective Ranger forms and weapons with the words 'Commencing Morphing Sequence' on the bottom.

The platforms they were standing on opened and the Nexus Rangers jumped down in a tunnel of pure Morphin Grid in their colors.

As the Nexus Rangers fell in the tunnel, digital lines in their respective colors appeared as they moved around their bodies forming their Ranger suits before they landed on a gray floor which made a large crack filled with energy in their colors and the same energy was around forming a large space.

Finally, they stood up, digital lines appeared around their heads forming their helmets.

(End of Sequence)

"Nexus Rangers…" Dean said before he and others struck their poses.

"We stand united!"

"You know I think you need a new catchphrase. How about…" Scyther said before he channels energy around his blades. "You'll be sliced into pieces!"

Scyther then sends two energy slashes at the Nexus Rangers, they avoid them before they charge at the Commander.

"Xedroids, attack!" Scyther commanded and the Xedroids soon charged at the Rangers as they began to battle each other.

Dean starts off by landing a reverse spin kick on one Xedroid sending it to the ground. Dean then punches on two more droids, and sees three firing laser blasts at him, the Red Ranger avoids their blasts by jumping into the air and pulls out his Nexus Blaster.

"Nexus Blaster!" Dean said.

The Red Ranger then uses the blaster to fire upon the Xedroids who fired at him destroying them as they exploded and Dean lands on the ground before he swipes his thumb on his helmet.

Shin, armed with his Nexus Dagger, charges at a group of Xedroids to attack them with his weapon. Shin stops for a moment as he sees another group of Xedroids firing laser blasts, and the Blue Ranger avoids their blasts by moving like a wolf before he charges at the Xedroids and attacks them with his Dagger destroying them in the process.

Aaron is seen dodging dodges from several Xedroids before he stops one's attack by catching its weapon, he then pulls the Xedroid towards him to attack with a lariat. The Black Ranger then blocks two Xedroids' attacks with his forearms, he then grabs onto their weapons to lift them up and swung them around before he throws them to another group of Xedroids.

"Whoa-wow!" Claire said as she flips to avoid the Xedroids' slashes and laser blasts.

The Pink Ranger then jumps to a Xedroid to drop kick on its head, she then notices another Xedroid attacking her from behind, she avoids its attack by jumping above it and grabs onto its head with legs to throw the Xedroid to the ground.

Cliare then notices another group of Xedroids firing laser blasts at her and the Pink Ranger avoids their blasts by flipping before she pulls out the Nexus Dagger.

"Nexus Dagger!" Claire said before she landed on her knee and foot to throw the Dagger at the Xedroids as it slashed through them and destroyed as they exploded, the Nexus Dagger then flew back to Claire's hand as she caught it. "Easy peasy!"

Using her martial arts skills, Alisa punches one Xedroid several times before she avoids two Xedroids' attacks and kicks them in the face. Then the Yellow Ranger saw another Xedroid charging in front of her to attack, just as she was ready for it, Alisa froze as Kurt's face appeared in front of the droid's head.

"Kur…" Alisa mutters and Dean notices that she was frozen as the Xedroid swung its weapon at her.

"Alisa! What are you doing?!" Dean shouted which snapped Alisa out of it and Kurt's face disappeared.

Alisa quickly catches the Xedroid's blade and slams her elbow right on its face followed by a spin kick that sends the droid to the ground. Alisa took a moment to breathe before she turned to Dean.

"Thanks for that, Dean." Alisa told the Red Ranger.

"Alisa…If you're not up for this…" Dean said before the Yellow Ranger backhanded punches one Xedroid that was about to attack her from behind.

"I said I was fine!" Alisa said before she charges at another group of Xedroids to attack them.

"Somehow I doubt that." Dean said before he avoids one Xedroid's attack when he wasn't looking and grabs onto its blade and looks at the droid. "Hey! I'm trying to keep an eye on my friend!"

Dean throws the Xedroid to a pile of boxes and they are crushed by it.

Alisa punches one Xedroid on the face before she sweep kicks one Xedroid who was charging at her to attack. That's when she saw another group of Xedroids firing laser blasts at her, Alisa then uses her flying abilities to avoid their attacks before she swoops down and attacks them by spinning around.

When Alisa lands on the ground, she soon sees a charging Xedroid heading towards to attack, but Alisa dodges it and lands a punch on its face, the Xedroid was about to fall to the ground but Alisa prevents that as she grabs onto the Xedroid by the shoulder.

"I'm done with you yet!" Alisa said before a memory of Kurt appeared in her mind.

It was in a martial arts dojo as they sparred with each other.

Alisa then begins punching the Xedroid in the face several times, in fact her punches begin to break its face into pieces.

Then another memory of Kurt appeared in her mind, it was when she tried out a fancy dress and showed it off to Kurt, but the White Ranger ended up laughing which caused her face to turn red that he found this amusing.

The Yellow Ranger then saw a group of Xedroids going to fire laser blasts at her, Alisa then threw the Xedroid she was holding at them as they crashed against each other while falling.

Then another memory Kurt flashed in her head, it was when they had burgers and fries together but Alisa ends up having ketchup on her nose and Kurt wipes it off with his thumb and licks on it before he smiles at her and Alisa once again blushes.

Alisa tightly clenches her hand as a Xedroid attacks her with its weapon, but Alisa avoids before she begins to scream and punches on the Xedroid, but instead of her more polish and elegant martial arts skills, her punches were more ruthless and savage, almost like she was fighting in rage.

Claire and Aaron notice that after they attack a Xedroid in front of them as they turn to the Yellow Ranger.

"Something's wrong with Alisa. She's not acting like herself." Claire said, and Aaron nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, I notice it too." He said before they dodge another group of Xedroids' attacks.

Alisa punches one Xedroid to the ground. She then remembers another memory of Kurt, where they had their first kiss right next to a large Christmass tree.

Alisa then screams before she grabs onto the Xedroid and begins punching it on the face several times, in her beat down against it another memory of Kurt flashed in her mind.

It was where they first met as kids, and how they became fast friends.

Just as Alisa was about to throw in another punch, Dean stops her by grabbing her wrist and the Yellow Ranger turns to him.

"Alisa, stop! You need to calm down!" Dean told her.

Alisa grits her teeth and lowers her head before she pulls her arm free and charges at another Xedroid to attack it several times with her fists.

"Alisa!" Dean calls out and was about to follow but was forced to move away to avoid several Xedroids' attacks.

Alisa continues her ruthless attacks against the Xedroids and with each attack Alisa keeps on remembering each memory of Kurt.

Where they would often eat her mom's pancakes. Where they would often run and play together. Where her father would often yell at them whenever the two cause trouble. Finally, she remembers a certain memory of Kurt.

"I'll always protect you. Even if the world comes to an end."

Alisa then pauses to remember that as she stood still and stopped her attacks before she lowered her head and combat stance.

As he was watching the Rangers battle against the Xedroids, he soon noticed the Yellow Ranger was just standing still and saw that as an opportunity.

"Well…look at that!" Scyther said before he channels energy around his right blade.

Dean notices that after he slashes one Xedroid with his Nexus Dagger along with Alisa being frozen.

"Alisa! Snap out of it!" He calls out to her, but the Yellow Ranger wasn't able to hear his voice. "Damn it!"

Dean was about to move in to push her out of the way, but another group of Xedroids stood in his way.

"Don't get in my way!" Dean says as he attacks to move to Alisa but they continue to move in front of him.

"Time to say goodbye, you little yellow eyesore!" Scyther then sends a large energy slash at the Yellow Ranger, and Shin quickly notices that.

"Alisa!" Shin said as he rushed to Alisa which snapped her out of her train of thought.

"Huh?" Alisa looks at the energy slash heading towards her and it was too late to avoid it.

Shin soon jumps and pushes her out of the way, but the energy slash manages to cut through his Ranger suit and leave a cut on his arm. When Shin and Alisa fall to the ground, the Blue Ranger demorphs and places a hand on the cut on his arm as it begins to bleed as he groans.

"Shin!" Alisa said in worry as she stood up on her knees and checked on the Blue Ranger. "Are you alright?"

After the other Nexus Rangers defeated the Xedroids, they soon saw what happened to the Blue Ranger.

"Oh no, Shin!" Claire said as they moved to check on him as well.

"Hang on, buddy!" Aaron said before he helps put pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding. "How bad's the pain?"

"Excruciating…But at least I'm still alive…" Shin said as he forced a smile on his face.

"Hahaha!" Scyther laughs at them which got the Rangers' attention. "Talk about my luck! I was hoping to take out your yellow friend, but I managed to wound the blue one!"

Dean stood up and assumed his stance with his Dagger.

"Then how about I make things even by cutting your arm?" Dean dared the Commander and Claire aimed her blaster at him.

"Hmmm…" Scyther hummed as he thought about it and shook his head. "No, I think I'll leave for now. But don't worry, I'll be back real soon."

Scyther transport back to the Kaiser Sphere.

"Wait!" Dean called out but it was too late and Claire placed a hand on his shoulder.

"We can't worry about him now, Dean." Claire said before they turned to the wounded Shin.

"Right. We need to take Shin back to the base." Dean said before they put away their weapons and knelt down to the Blue Ranger to help him stand up.

As they tend to the injured Shin, Alisa couldn't help but feel guilty that he had to protect her when she lost her focus. The Yellow Ranger then lowered her head in shame.

After Scyther had escaped, the Rangers had returned to their base and were now in the medical room where Shin was seated on a chair as Pixel uses her keyboard to use the machines in the room to treat the cut on his arm.

They saw that Salamandinay along with Kaname and Naga had arrived as they entered the room.

"We hear what happened. Is Shinya alright?" Salamandinay asked.

"We were going to ask Pixel the same question." Dean said before they all turned to the AI. "What's the verdict, Pix?"

"Well thankfully the attack had missed his vitals and central nerves, so there shouldn't be any permanent damage. But I'm afraid that Shin will be out of commission for a few days." Pixel told them as she finished patching up the Blue Ranger's wound.

Shin sighed to hear before he lightly ran his hand on his bandage arm.

"Well that sucks." Shin said.

Dean then turns to Alisa who lowered her head in shame while having a hand on her arm.

"Alisa, what the hell was that? You just froze in the middle of a battle." Dean said.

"I…I just space out a moment. I don't know how it happened." Alisa told him, but Dean wasn't convinced by that.

"Oh really? Then what did you space out about?" Dean asked, and Alisa was silent but Dean had a good idea. "It was Kurt wasn't it?"

Shin, Aaron, Claire and Salamandinay's group were worried to hear that while Alisa was silent.

"Alisa…What Kurt did, it hurt all of us." Dean said as he placed a hand on her shoulder but the Yellow Nexus Ranger smacks his hand away.

"It's not about him!" Alisa stated, but Dean could only sighed in frustration.

"You know, you're right, this is about you right now. And given your current state of mind, I think it's best for you and Shin to stay here." Dean told her.

Everyone, Alisa including, were surprised to hear that before the Yellow Ranger spoke out.

"What? But Dean…" Alisa said before Dean stops her by speaking out.

"I'm sorry, Alisa, but if you can't get Kurt out of your head and focus on the task in hand then you'll only be a hindrance to us." Dean told her before he left the room.

Aaron and Claire took a moment to look at Alisa who lowered her head in frustration before they left the room and followed Dean in the hallway as they caught up to the Red Ranger.

"You could've gone easy on her." Claire told her cousin.

"I only spoke the truth and you know it. Besides, what Alisa needs right now isn't comfort but tough love." Dean said.

"I know that…but still…" Claire said in sadness, and Aaron placed a hand on her shoulder.

"No, Dean's right. This is something Alisa needs to sort out herself." Aaron told her.

Now alone in the room with Shin and Salamandinay's group, Alisa grits her teeth and tightly clenches her hands.

"Alisa…I…" Shin calls out.

But the Yellow Ranger was too frustrated about this to hear his words, Alisa then moves to the door and punches on the wall next to it before she leaves the room with Shin looking at her in worry.

The Blue Ranger sighed as he shook his head.

"Damn it…What's the point of being a genius if I can't help my friend sort out her feelings?" Shin said before Salamandinay placed a hand on his shoulder.

"It's like Dean said, she needs to focus on the task at hand and not from the past." Salamandinay told him, and Shin sighed to hear.

"You know, you're starting to sound like the man himself." Shin said, and Salamandinay proudly smiles to hear that.

"I'll take that as a compliment." Salamandinay said before she turned to the door and was worried for the Yellow Ranger's state of mind, and she could understand why. "But still, I find it surprising that she and Kurt were once childhood friends."

"Yeah…" Shin rubs the back of his head. "Both of their families were good friends for years. So it didn't take long for them to become fast friends themselves, and overtime they became more than that."

Kaname and Naga blinks to hear that.

"More than that?" Naga said.

"What do you mean…" Kaname said before she and Naga blushed as they quickly understood what he meant. "Oh…I see."

"I see now. So that's why she's still fixated on him." Salamandinay said in understanding and sadness.

"Yeah. Which is why this is more difficult for Alisa. Because some time in the future, we'll have to fight Embryo but that will also mean we'll have to fight Kurt and that's what worries her." Shin said.

(Meanwhile)

After returning to the Kaiser Sphere, Prince Crimson along with Swartz, Cyber, and Commander Scyther were watching footage of the latter's battle against the Rangers and how he wounded the Blue Ranger when he rushed in to save Alisa.

"I don't normally say this, but well done, Scyther. Not only did you manage to wound one of the Rangers, but you also exploited a weakness with the yellow one." Prince Crimson said, and Scyther bowed his head.

"Please, no thanks necessary, Your Highness. It was an honor to serve your will. And the next time I see the Rangers, they'll be nothing but pieces." Scyther said before he sharpens his blades together, and Prince Crimson chuckles to hear that.

"Very well. Then prepare for your next attack at once." He ordered him, and Scyther saluted.

"Yes, sir!" Scyther said before he leaves to prepare for his next attack.

After a long time, Prince Crimson was looking forward to seeing how the results would end and hoped that it would bring about the Rangers' destruction.

"Now then, Power Rangers, how will you overcome this ordeal?"

Dean along with Aaron, Claire, the injured Shin, Pixel and Salamandinay's group were in the command room waiting for Scyther's next attack.

As they were waiting Claire was tapping her finger on the computer.

"Are we really waiting for him to show up again?" Claire asked.

"Yeah. I know how this sounds, but it's not like we have any other options." Dean told her.

"I understand that but still…" Claire said before they heard the alarm going off and saw Scyther and a group of Xedroids attacking another town on the computer. "Don't say it…"

"Don't worry, I'm just as surprised as you are." Dean said before he coughs in his hand. "Let's move."

"Are you sure? He has a large number and we're two Rangers short." Claire told him.

"We don't have a choice. Besides, we always have worse odds." Dean said before he moves to the transporter.

"I know that but still…" Claire said before she and Aaron followed Dean.

The three Rangers then stood on the transporter and soon used their Morphers.

"Access the Morphin Grid!" They said as they morph into their Ranger forms, then the transporter teleports to Scyther's attack.

Seeing his friends leaving without him left Shin a bit frustrated before he rubs the wound on his arm.

"Dang it…I hate being the one left behind." Shin said before Pixel placed her tiny hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, look at the bright side, at least you're not the only one." Pixel said, and Shin sighed in understanding.

"Yeah. This is probably only a scratch compared to what Alisa's going through." Shin said.

---

Dean, Claire, and Aaron had arrived at Scyther's area of attack but to their confusion it was the ruins of the old world.

"The ruins?" Aaron said.

"Why would he attack here? No lives here, at least not anymore." Claire said.

"Something tells me we'll find out soon. Because here he is." Dean said before they spotted Scyther and appeared in front of them along with the Xedroids.

"Well look who decided to show up! But it seems like you're missing a few people." Scyther said.

"Don't worry. We're more than enough to handle you." Dean said.

"Yeah, and only this time you're not running away." Claire said.

"Especially since you just hurt our friend." Aaron said, but Scyther just laughed at them.

"Hahaha! Yeah, we'll see about that." Scyther said before he snapped his fingers.

That's when the Rangers saw several more Xedroids appearing from the ruined buildings in the area, and some were standing on the roof on other buildings as they completely surrounded the Rangers.

The three Rangers stood back-to-back as they assumed their combat stance and were ready to fight.

"Please don't say it…" Dean said.

"Too late. It's a trap." Claire told her cousin.

"And we probably should've brought backup." Aaron said, and Dean sighed to hear that.

"Well, like you said, it's too late now. We'll just have to make do with the three of us." Dean told them before they charged and battled the Xedroids.

Dean attacks some of the Xedroids with his Racer Saber before he blocks one's attack towards him, he soon pushes it back and slashes on its chest but that's when another slash upon the Red Ranger's chest as sparks appear.

Dean stumbles back before a group of Xedroids fire laser blasts at him, Dean avoids their blasts by rolling on the ground but as he stands up, another Xedroid slashes his Saber out of his hand.

Dean looks at it and was about to rush in to pick it up but was forced to avoid a Xedroid's attack and was forced to move away from his weapon as he continued to avoid their attacks.

Aaron is seen punching and kicking the Xedroids in front of him before another group of Xedroids jump and pile on top of the Black Ranger, they begin to beat on him, Aaron then grits his teeth and manages to use all of his strength to push them all back.

But at that moment, another group of Xedroids appeared in front of him and fired laser blasts. Aaron managed to avoid some of them but most managed to hit him and created sparks in front of him.

As he stumbles back, another Xedroid charges and slashes on his chest sending Aaron to the ground.

Claire is seen flipping forward to avoid the Xedroids' laser blasts, but that's when two appear in front of her and slashes on her legs, sending the Pink Ranger falling to the ground.

That's when more Xedroids appear to attack Claire with their blades, she avoids their attack by rolling on the ground. When Claire stood up, two Xedroids grabbed onto her arms, and then another group of Xedroids were ready to fire at them.

Claire then manages to free herself and sends the two Xedroids to the ground and manages to avoid the others' laser blasts by rolling on the ground.

"This is not going to be easy." Claire said before she goes back to fighting the Xedroids.

Scyther laughs to see the Rangers struggle against the Xedroids.

"Hahaha! This is nice to watch, makes me wish I had some popcorn." Scyther said.

---

In the base, Shin along with Pixel and Salamandinay's group were watching Dean, Aaron, and Claire's struggle fighting against the numerous Xedroids in worry.

"This isn't good. They'll be overrun at this rate." Pixel said before Shin stood up.

"That's it. I can't just sit here and do nothing." Shin said as he was about to move to help his friends, but Pixel stood in his way.

"Not so fast, Shin. You're in no shape to fight right now, and you know it." Pixel told the Blue Ranger.

"Then what do you expect me to do? Watch and let my friends be killed?" Shin said.

"No. But if you did rush in to help, you'll be overrun like the others." Pixel said, and Shin lowered his head as he knew that she's right.

"Then maybe I can lend some aid." Salamandinay said, getting their attention. "I can send a legion of my forces to help them."

"No, that's also too risky. Don't forget that they have those Xe-Bots and Xe-Fighters, that will only make the situation worse if you do that." Pixel told the DRAGON Princess.

"But there must be something we can do?" Salamandinay asked, but Shin and Pixel weren't sure how to respond.

"It would seem things would only escalate even further." Naga said, and Kaname nodded in agreement.

"Agreed. If only Alisa was in her right mind." Kaname said.

---

In the hallways of the base, Sayla was carrying a basket of Serra's clothes after she had washed and dried them.

"It's truly amazing that this place has everything I need. I should really thank Dean again for letting me stay here." Sayla said before she was closed to the training room.

At that moment, she heard someone screaming inside. Curious about this, she looks inside and sees Alisa doing her favorite training simulation.

"Alisa?" Sayla said.

The Yellow Ranger continues to scream as she punches and kicks at the disks but ends up missing most of them along with missing the final disk.

Alisa then turns to the score.

Alisa grits her teeth to see her poor score as she remembers another memory of Kurt where they went to the beach with their friends.

Alisa screams in frustration as she falls on her knees and slams her hands on the floor. She continues to scream and punches on the floor several times before slamming both her head and fists on the ground.

Then tears began to drop on the floor as Alisa was crying. She then remembers how she saw Kurt's face on one of the Xedroids, how she was frozen thinking about him, and how Shin got hurt because of that.

"Damn it…Damn it…" Alisa mutters to herself.

She then felt someone's hand on her shoulder, Alisa looked and saw it was Sayla who knelt down to her.

"Sayla?" Alisa said.

"Is something wrong?" Sayla asked.

Alisa quickly wipes away her tears before she sits down on her rear and hugs her legs.

"It's nothing…I'm fine." Alisa said.

Sayla wasn't convinced by that before she sat down behind Alias and brought her back against her own.

"It doesn't seem like that to me. Why don't you tell me what's wrong?" Sayla said, but Alisa remained quiet. "It's about this Kurt, isn't it?"

Alisa flinches but speaks to Sayla.

"I guess Dean told you about it."

"More and less." Sayla nodded. "But I understand you too were close. But how close exactly?"

Alisa tightly held her arms and spoke.

"It's a long time ago. But my family used to run a dojo, and it just so happens that Kurt's parents were close friends of my own. So…We grew up together and even trained in martial arts together. And over time…We…"

Sayla blinks before she understands that her past relationship with Kurt was more than friends.

"I see."

"Yeah. That's why when Kurt showed up, attacking people, fighting Dean…siding with Embryo. I just don't want to believe it, even if the truth was right in front of me. That's when these thoughts just appeared in my head. If Kurt shows up again, I'll be forced to fight him or even…I just don't know if I'm able to do that." Alisa said before Sayla placed a hand on her shoulder.

"It's only natural to feel that way. Love can do that to someone, and I know this is strange to say, but I think it's good that you feel that way." Sayla said, and Alisa blinks before she turns to her.

"You do?" The Yellow Ranger asked, and Sayla nodded.

"Yeah. In fact, I think it was better than it was with my husband." Sayla said.

"Your husband?" Alisa said.

"Yes. Serra's father. I hadn't told Dean about this, but I first met my husband in college. He was an upperclassman, wanted to be a politician but we met and fell in love. Not long after that we married, and our daughter was born." Sayla smiles before she sighed in sadness. "Until we learn that Serra was a Norma. When my husband learned about this, he was worried how this would affect his status and wanted to eliminate her before anyone could figure it out. I didn't want that to happen, so I ran away with Serra and went back to my maiden name."

"I see. I'm sorry to hear that. It must've been difficult for you." Alisa said.

"It was. But I had no regrets about it, and I didn't blame my husband for it either." Sayla said, and Alisa was surprised by that.

"You didn't?" Sayla shook her head.

"Despite our differences, I understand my husband's reasoning for it. He just wanted to protect himself, I would've done the same. At first I tried to talk things out to him, but he just refused to listen to me. So I gave up on him and left without looking back. But I would be lying to say that I didn't regret it at first."

"Well, that's something to hear, but how does this relate to my problem?" Alisa asked.

"Well, tell me this, do you know Kurt's reason for joining Embryo?" Sayla asked.

"What kind of question is that? Dean pretty much told me his words himself when they fought." Alisa said.

"But did he tell you those words himself? Face to face?" Sayla asked, and Alisa blinked but answered.

"No. Does that even matter right now?" Alisa asked.

"It should matter. Unlike me, you didn't hear Kurt's reason to join with Embryo for yourself. But I for one understood my husband's reason for our daughter and in the end, I gave up on him. So tell me this, are you going to give up on Kurt? Not before learning why he did it yourself?" Sayla questions the Yellow Ranger.

Alisa was left in deep thought about it and remembers when he first met Kurt when they were kids.

(Flashback)

Inside her family's dojo, a 10-year-old Alisa was standing in front of Kurt who was the same age as their fathers stood beside them.

"Alisa, this is my son, Kurt. He's the same age as you. Come introduce yourself, Kurt." Mr. Summers told his son, but he shyly hid behind his father's leg. "Kurt, come on. I'm sorry, he's a bit shy to strangers."

Alisa hummed as she stared at the shy Kurt before she smiled and approached to reach out her hand.

"Hey, I'm Alisa. Let's be friends Kurt." Alisa told him.

Kurt blinks and for some strange reason, Alisa's smile and presence felt comforting towards him. He smiles and grabs onto Alisa's hand.

"I would like that…Alisa." Kurt said.

(End of flashback)

Alisa grits her teeth to remember that memory as tears begin to fall from her eyes. But she quickly wiped them and stood up.

"Damn it…How can I be so stupid?!" Alisa said before she roared and ran out of the training room and ran in the hallway with Sayla watching her with a smile on her face.

"Good luck, Alisa." Sayla said.

Alisa continues to run in the hallway and heads to the command room, she then remembers Kurt's words once again.

"I'll always protect you. Even if the world comes to an end."

Alisa grits her teeth to remember that memory again, but she continues to harden her resolve.

'Kurt…' Alisa thought before she slapped her cheeks several times and stopped. 'I don't know what's going on in that head of yours…But…I do know that you're not the kind of person who would break that promise! Especially towards me!'

Shin, Pixel, and Salamandinay continue to argue on what to do.

"Look I understand your reason but…" Shin said before he stopped as he saw Alisa had entered the room as she took a moment to catch her breath. "Alisa?"

The others turn to the Yellow Ranger as well before she moves in front of the computer and sees her friends were having a tough time fighting the numerous Xedroids.

"Seems like I arrived at the worst time." Alisa said before she moves to the transporter to help her friends, but Shin stops her by grabbing her arm.

"Hold on for a minute. Are you sure you're up for this?" Shin asked, and Alisa rolled her eyes and removed his hand.

"Yeah. This time I'm not going to lose my focus. Because I'm going to focus on the here and now." Alisa said before she moved to the transporter.

Shin smiles to hear that.

"Well, guess I can't sit around all day either." Shin said before he followed the Yellow Ranger.

Knowing too well that Shin and Alisa are too stubborn to listen to her, Pixel just sighed and shook her head.

"I swear…those kids always make me feel ancient. But I am over 500 years old." Pixel said.

---

Dean, Aaron, and Claire continue their fight against the numerous Xedroids but they are starting to overrun them.

"Nexus Blaster!" Dean said as he uses his Blaster to fire upon the Xedroids around him.

But then another group of Xedroids jump down and grab hold of Dean, and that's when Commander Scyther moves in front of the Red Ranger as he sharpens his blades.

"The Red Ranger, the core of the group. I'm going to take great pleasure in finishing you off first." Scyther said as he raised his blade to ready it.

Aaron and Claire soon notice this.

"Oh no, Dean!" Claire said as she and Kurt were about to move in to save him, but the Xedroids stopped them as they grabbed onto the Pink and Black Rangers.

"Let us go!" Aaron said as they struggled to break free.

"I hope you're watching, Your Highness. Because I'm going to finish the Red Ranger! You better give me a great reward for this!" Scyther said as he swung his blade at the Red Ranger.

"Dean!" Aaron shouted.

"No!" Claire shouted.

Dean could only close his eyes to brace himself but…

"Hey, ugly!" A familiar voice calls out.

"Huh?" Scyther turns to the side and someone lands a double kick right in front of his face which sends him rolling on the ground.

Scyther soon stood up and he along with the Rangers saw it was Alisa, in her Ranger form.

"Alisa?" Dean said in surprised to see her.

That's when Shin shows up, also in Ranger form, as he uses his Blaster to fire at the Xedroids holding Dean forcing them to let go.

"Shin too?" Aaron said as he and Claire managed to push the Xedroids away from them.

Shin then placed a hand on Dean's shoulder.

"You okay, Dean?"

"What are you doing here? You should be in the base, both of you in fact." Dean said.

"Don't worry, Dean. I'm not going to space out again. Let me show you." Alisa said before she walked to Scyther.

"Wait, Alisa!" Dean said but Shin patted on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, Dean, she's got this. We should worry more about ourselves." Shin said before he and Dean fought against the Xedroids.

As Alisa walks towards Scyther, the commander laughs at the Yellow Ranger.

"So you're back for more?! Too bad, because I know your weakness now…Xedroids!" Scyther said and a group of Xedroids charged at the Yellow Ranger to attack.

This time, Alisa dodge their attacks and punches and kicks them with her usual poise and skill in martial arts. Just as she kicks two Xedroids to the ground, she lowered her stance along with her head, standing still and leaving herself open for attack.

Dean notices that as he punches one Xedroid.

"Oh no…not again." Dean said as he was about to move in but Shin stopped him by raising his arm in front of him. "Shin, what are you doing?"

"Don't worry. She got it this time." Shin assured him.

"Hahaha! Just in time!" Scyther said before he sends an energy slash at Alisa and two Xedroids jump down to attack her from her left and right.

As the energy slash and Xedroids were heading towards her, Alisa inhaled deeply and exhaled. The Yellow Ranger narrowly dodges Scyther's energy slash by stepping to the right.

"Huh?" Scyther said in confusion to see that.

In that moment, Alisa grabs the incoming Xedroid from her right by the wrist and throws it to the other Xedroid to her left making them crash into each other as they explode.

Dean was stunned by this while Shin smiled and the others saw that as well.

"Damn…" Dean mutters.

"I told you so." Shin told him.

"Nice!" Claire said before she kicked one Xedroid.

"Now there's the Alisa we know!" Aaron said before he punches one Xedroid behind him.

Alisa then turns to Scyther who was staring at her in shock.

"I'm sorry. What was that about you knowing my weakness?" Alisa said before she pulled out her Nexus Dagger. "Nexus Dagger!"

Alisa then brings out her wings and flies towards Scyther. Scyther growls before he sends more energy slashes at the Yellow Ranger, and Alisa dodges his attacks with ease.

When she was close enough, Alisa lands a somersault kick which sends Scyther up in the air. Alisa follows by flying up towards him, the Yellow Ranger then spins around and slash around Scyther's body with her Nexus dagger and then she lands a kick on his back sending the Commander crashing into the ground.

Alisa lands elegantly on the ground before she looks at Scyther who stood back up.

"Damn you…" Scyther growled at the Yellow Ranger.

"That's what you get for being cocky." Alisa said before Dean moved to her side.

"I guess I was wrong. Glad to see you found your focus again." Dean said.

"Me too." Alisa nodded.

"And I think I owe you an apology once this is over."

"That too. But let's finish this guy first."

The other Nexus Rangers moved in and they all stood side-by-side ready to fight Scyther together.

"Grrr…Xedroids!" Scyther calls out and the Xedroids move and gather in front of the Nexus Rangers and their numbers are over a hundred.

"Over hundreds of them and only five of us. Those are not good odds." Claire said before Dean stepped forward.

"Then we just need to take things to the next level. Time to go Legendary!" Dean said before he and the others pulled out a Legendary Ranger Card.

The Cards were the Super Megaforce Rangers.

"Load Legendary Ranger Card! Super Megaforce!" They said before they load the Cards into their Morphers and transform into the Super Megaforce Rangers, with Aaron being the Green Ranger.

The Xedroids then charge at them, the Nexus Ranger soon brings out the Super Mega Sabers and Blasters before they charge at the Xedroids and attack them.

Dean cuts down several Xedroids with his Saber and fires upon a few more with his Blaster. That's when another group of Xedroids fire at him, and the Red Ranger deflects their shots with his Saber and fires at them with his Blaster.

Dean then turns to Shin who was mostly attacking the Xedroids with his Saber while having the Blaster at his back.

"Shin, catch!" Dean said before he threw the Blaster to the Blue Ranger.

Shin noticed that and nodded.

"Aaron!" Shin said as he throws his Blaster to Aaron and catches the Red Ranger's Saber.

Shin uses the Blue Super Megaforce Ranger's swordsmanship to cut down the Xedroids with both Sabers.

Aaron fires upon the Xedroids with his Blaster before he sees Shin's own Blaster heading towards him.

"Alisa!" Aaron said as he threw his Saber to the Yellow Ranger to catch the Blaster.

Aaron then uses both Blasters to fire upon the Xedroids who were charging at him, destroying them. Aaron chuckles before he sees another group of Xedroids jumping down to attack, and Aaron dodges them by rolling backwards on the ground. He landed on a wall and fired at the Xedroids destroying them as they exploded.

Alisa slashes on two Xedroids with her Saber and fires upon three more. She then sees Aaron's Saber heading towards before she throws her Blaster to Claire.

"Claire, heads up!" Alisa said before she catches the Saber and dual wields with both of them. "Now for Saber Whip!"

Alisa then uses her Sabers as whips and uses them to attack the Xedroids around.

Claire slash one Xedroid before she saw Alisa's Blaster heading towards her.

"Dean!" Claire said as she throws her Saber at the Red Ranger and catches the incoming Blaster.

Claire then spun around and fired at the Xedroids around her.

Dean was dodging several Xedroids attacks before he fired upon some of them with his Blaster and saw Claire's Saber heading towards and catching it, Dean then used to slash upon the Xedroids.

Using their weapons, the Nexus Rangers destroyed the first wave of Xedroids as they exploded. That's when they saw another wave charging towards them.

"Here comes the second wave!" Shin said.

"Then it's time for another change!" Dean said.

The Nexus Rangers then pulled out the RPM Ranger Cards.

"Load Legendary Ranger Card! RPM! Get in Gear!" The Nexus Rangers load the Cards into their Morphers and transform into the RPM Rangers with Claire as a female version of the Green Ranger.

They then charge at the Xedroids by moving like race cars while attacking them as they pass them before they stop and the Xedroids explode.

Scyther then glares at the Rangers as the remaining Xedroids stood by his side.

"Damn you!" Scyther said before the Rangers turned to him and the Xedroids.

The Nexus Rangers then bring out their Morphers along with the Dino Charge Cards.

"Load Legendary Ranger Card! Dino Charge! Unleash the Power!" The Nexus Rangers said before they load their Cards into their Morphers and transform into the Dino Charge Rangers with Alisa as a female version of the Green Ranger, they did the Dino Charge Rangers' poses.

Scyther growled before he and the Xedroids charged at the Rangers, and they soon brought out the Dino Charge Rangers' Dino Steel and weapons.

"Dino Steel, Armor On!"

The Nexus Rangers then charge at the Xedroids and attack them with their weapons.

Aaron begins by using both his Dino Charge Morpher and Para Chopper.

"Para Chopper!" Aaron said as he fires upon the Xedroids with his weapons destroying them.

Alisa follows by using both the Dino Saber and Raptor Claw.

"Raptor Claw!" Alisa said as she uses both weapons to slash at the Xedroids with skill and agility.

"Tricera Drill!" Claire said as she uses her Drill to attack the Xedroids as she charges forward.

Scyther could only watch as the Rangers continued to destroy his forces with ease.

"Dang it! You're really starting to be an annoyance!" Scyther exclaimed as he sent a large energy slash at the Rangers.

Shin then moves in front of Scyther's attack.

"Stego Shield!" Shin said as he uses his Shield block Scyther's attack and uses the Blue Dino Charge Ranger's strength to push it aside.

"What?! Impossible!" Scyther said in shock.

"Hey, ugly!" Said Dean as he charges at Scyther. "Here's a T-Rex Smasher from me!"

Dean uses his Smasher to punch Scyther on the chest which sends him skidding back a few feet before he stops and falls on one knee and places a hand on his chest.

"Damn you…!" Scyther glared at the Rangers as he stood back up.

The Rangers stood side-by-side before they changed back to their Base Forms.

"How about we give him one more surprise?" Dean asked and his friends nodded.

"It's alright with me." Claire said.

"I always love surprises." Shin said.

Then the five Nexus Rangers pulled out a Legendary Red Ranger Card.

"Load Legendary Ranger Card! Red Ranger Power!" The Rangers said as they load the Cards into their respective Morphers and they soon transformed into a different Red Ranger.

Dean transforms into the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger.

Shin, the Operation Overdrive Red Ranger.

Aaron, the SPD Red Ranger.

Alisa, a female version of the Jungle Fury Red Ranger.

Claire, a female version of the Red Wild Force Ranger.

Then the five Red Rangers strike their poses while Scyther was surprised by this.

"What?! You can all go red?!" Scyther said.

"You bet we can!" Dean said before he brought out the Power Sword.

Shin brings out the Driver Lance and Aaron pulls out Delta Blasters. Then the Nexus Rangers charge Scyther.

Aaron starts off the attack by firing the Delta Blasters.

"Delta Blasters!"

As Scyther was fired upon, Aaron continues to charge at him and lands some good hits with his blasters. Scyther stumbles back before he slashes at him, and Aaron dodges it by jumping backwards and when he lands, he once again fires at Scyther with his Blasters once again.

"Shin, you're up!" Aaron said as he stood up and readied his arms.

"I'm on it!" Shin said as he jumps onto Aaron's shoulder and uses it to jump towards Scyther. "Drive Lance!"

Using the Drive Lance, Shin slashes upon Scyther a few times, he then uses the Lance to grab onto Scyther and then he swung the commander around before he throws him away and Scyther crashes into a wall and falls to the ground.

"Haha! Guess my wound's all better now!" Shin said as he patted on the wound on his arm before he flinched in pain. "Ow! Ow! Ow! I spoke too soon…"

As Scyther stood up, he saw Claire charging at her, Scyther slashes at her and Claire dodges and pushes the Commander to the ground and begins to drag him across the ground as she moves like an animal and deals him damage as a result.

"Alisa!" Claired said as she threw Scyther away, sending him rolling on the ground.

Scyther quickly stood back up with a hand on his shoulder, he soon saw Alisa charging at him to attack.

Scyther attacks her with both of his blades, but Alisa uses Jungle Fury's martial arts prowess to skillfully parry his attacks and punches on his body a few times before finishing with a powerful punch which forces Scyther to stumble back.

That's when Dean jumps over Alisa to attack Scyther with his Sword.

"Power Sword!"

Dean lands and uses the Power Sword to slash at Scyther a few times before he spins and slashes on Scyther's chest which sends him rolling on the ground.

"I-I'm…not done yet!" Scyther said as he slowly stood back up.

With that, the Nexus Rangers change back into their base forms. They then pulled out their Blasters and their SuperCharge Cards.

"Load SuperCharge Card!" Dean said.

"Load Card!" The other Rangers said before all five of them insert their Cards into their Blasters.

Then the five Nexus Rangers aim their Blasters as they charge up with powerful energy, they then fire at Scyther and their blasts combine together to become an even more powerful attack before it hits straight into Scyther's chest.

Scyther screams before his body explodes.

With Scyther destroyed, the Rangers lowered or spun their Nexus Blasters while Dean swipes his thumb on his helmet.

"Morphinominal!" The Red Ranger said.

In the Kaiser Sphere, Prince Crimson along with his subordinates had watched Scyther's battle against the Rangers and was soundly defeated.

Enraged by this, Prince Crimson slams his fist on his armrest before he calms down and clicks his tongue.

"I should've known Scyther was useless, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to give him a second chance along with some extra insurance. Cyber, activate the Kaiser Reanimator! Swartz, send a legion of Xe-Bots and Fighters as well!" Prince Crimson commanded them.

"Yes, Your Highness!" They bow their heads before they move to their respective computers to activate the Reanimator along with sending the Xe-Bots and Xe-Fighters as all three head to the Earth.

The beam from the Kaiser Reanimator landed on top of Scyther's remains which brought him back as a giant and a legion of Xe-Bots and Xe-Fighters dropped down and stood by his side.

The Rangers then look up at them as Sctyher in turn looks down at them while laughing.

"I'm back! And I got an even bigger army!" Scyther declared.

"You're not the only one who can play that game!" Dean said.

The Nexus Rangers then pulled out their Zord and inserted them into their Morphers' card slots.

"Load Card!" They said before they pressed on their Morphers' Zord button to call upon them.

"Deploy, Nexus Racer Zord!"

"Nexus Wolf Zord!"

"Nexus Dozer Zord!"

"Nexus Falcon Zord!"

"Nexus Chopper Zord!"

The Nexus Zords soon moved in their respective pathways and appeared in the outside world.

The Rangers then jump to their respective Zords and enter their cockpit. The Rangers then pull out their Morphers and attach them to the slot.

"Access Controls!" The Rangers said at the same time.

Dean then loads the Battle Mode Card into his Morpher and the Racer Zord changes into its Battle Mode.

"Nexus Racer Zord, Battle Mode!"

Then the five Nexus Zords stood side-by-side as they were ready to fight the giant Scyther along with his legion of Xe-Bots and Xe-Fighters.

"Attack!" Scyther commanded and the Xe-Bots and Fighters charged at the Zords and they did the same.

The Wolf Zord started the attack by pouncing on two Xe-Bots to attack them with its fangs and claws before it jumped back.

"Fire blasters!" Shin said as he pulled the triggers.

The Wolf Zord then fires upon the Xe-Bots with its machine gun, destroying them as they explode.

The Dozer Zord charges at one Xe-Bot and brings its shovel right under its foot.

"Going up!" Aaron said as he pulled back the shovel lever.

The Dozer Zord then lifted up the Xe-Bot before it spun around and threw it to another group of Xe-Bots as they crashed onto each other.

The Chopper Zord was chasing behind two Xe-Fighters.

"Fire!" Claire said before she pulled the trigger.

The Chopper Zord fires its blasters at the Xe-Fighters to destroy them.

The Falcon Zord was charging at two Xe-Fighters who were also charging at him. The Xe-Fighters then fire at the Zord.

"I don't think so!" Alisa said before she swung her controls to the left and to the right.

The Falcon Zord avoids their fire and uses its blade wings to cut straight through the Fighters, destroying them.

Three Xe-Bots armed with gun arms fire at the Falcon Zord.

"So that's how you want to play it?!" Alisa said before she pushed her controls down.

The Falcon Zord then flies down to the three Xe-Bots and uses its wing to cut through each of them one at a time, destroying them as they explode.

Then the Racer Zord armed with its Saber clash blades with Scyther three times before they brought their blades in a lock.

Dean then pushed down the lever and pressed on the gas pedal.

The engine on the Racer Zord's chest revs up and manages to push Scyther's blades back and the Racer Zord uses this chance to slash on its chest twice and land a punch on him, forcing the giant Commander to stumble back.

Scyther stops and soon glares at the Racer Zord before the other Zords move beside it.

"Damn you!" Scyther said as two remaining Xe-Bots and Xe-Fighters moved to his side.

"I think it's about we finish this. Are you guys ready?" Dean said to his friends.

"You bet!"

"Of course!"

"I'm always already!"

"Did you even have to ask?"

"Alright! It's Megazord time!" Dean said before he pulled out a new Megazord Card.

The Card had a picture of a combination of all five of their Zords.

"Load Megazord Card!" Dean said before loads the Card into his Morpher. "Initiate Megazord Prime Formation!"

Then the words 'Initiate Megazord Prime Sequence' appeared on all five of their Morphers.

Then the eyes of their Zords lit up, the Wolf and Falcon roared like the animals that they were while the engines on the Racer and Dozer Zords roared loudly and the Chopper Zord's propeller spins faster than before.

Emerging from a tunnel were the Dozer, Falcon, Chopper, and Wolf Zords as they raced down the street with the Racer Zord following behind them.

As it runs, the Racer Zord has caught up to the Wolf and Chopper Zords, and just like with the Triad Formation, the Racer Zord's arms folded and move to the back and the Wolf and Chopper Zords form the arms along with the tail rotor attaches itself on the waist.

The Dozer Zord then jumps down to another road below as it was falling, the Dozer Zord's body moving upward before it split in half to form the legs with the shovels acting as the feet before the Zord landed on the road and the hatches on top of it opened up.

The Racer Zord then jumps down and heads to the Dozer Zord. As it was falling, the Racer Zord's feet folds up and its legs fit into the Dozer Zord's open compartment. The inner parts of both Zords interlock to secure themselves.

The Falcon Zord roars as it flies and attaches itself onto the Racer Zord's back to form the backpack and wings.

Then the four corners of the Racer Zord's engine pops open to reveal four jewels before they change into the colors, with the top right blue and top left black, and with the bottom right yellow and the left pink.

Then the Racer Zord's helmet changes form. It now has a silver mouth with white colored armor pieces on the side with blue eyes. The top was colored red with a large golden V-fin on the forehead with a red jewel on the center.

The Nexus Rangers then appeared in the Megazord's cockpit and stood on their respective colored platforms and attached their Morphers to the slots.

"Access Controls!" With that, the words 'Nexus Prime Megazord, Controls Accessed' appeared on the screen of their respective Morphers.

The Megazord was standing in a dark space with dark thunder clouds in the sky.

"Nexus Prime Megazord! Formation Complete!" The Rangers declared as five colored thunderbolts appeared behind the Megazord as they clashed against each other which blew away from the dark space as everything turned into a space with multiple colors.

The Nexus Prime Megazord assumes its stance ready to fight Scyther along with the remaining Xe-Bots and Fighters.

"Grr…Attack!" Scyther commanded.

The Xe-Bots led the charge first, and the Megazord charged at them.

The Nexus Rangers then throw two punches.

The Megazord in turn throws a punch at the Xe-Bot in front of it, first with its right first and then with its left fist.

"Chopper Shield Blade!" The Rangers said as they swung out their left arm.

Then the rotor blades on the Chopper Zord begin to spin rapidly, the Megazord then uses it to slash at the Xe-Bot three times, destroying it before it explodes.

That's when the second Xe-Bot attacks the Megazord with its drill, but the Megazord uses its Chopper Shield to block it and pushes the Xe-Bot back.

"Dozer Kick!" The Rangers said before they did a spin kick followed with a reverse spin kick.

The Megazord follows by throwing a spin kick landing a hit with its shovel foot, after it hit on the Xe-Bot's head, the Megazord followed with a reverse spin and as it was heading towards the Xe-Bot, the shovel foot on it moves to the back dealing the Bot major damage, the Xe-Bot stumbles back before it exploded.

That's when the Megazord saw the two Xe-Fighters flying towards to attack from the sky.

"Deploy, Mega Nexus Saber, Blaster Mode!" Dean said before he pressed both the sword and blaster buttons on his Morpher's screen.

Then both the Nexus Saber and Blaster appeared, then both weapons combined before the barrel on the Blaster drops down and attaches itself on the backside of the Saber thus forming the Mega Nexus Saber - Blaster Mode.

The Megazord then wields the combined weapon with its right hand, it then uses his backpack to fly into the sky and heads to the Xe-Fighters.

The Xe-Fighters change form and fire at the Megazord, it avoids their blaster fire before the Megazord flies up and drops down to one of the Xe-Fights and uses the Saber to slash through it to destroy it as it explodes.

The Megazord then flew out of the explosion and soon flew around the second Xe-Fighter and fired upon it at all sides with its Blaster, destroying it as well.

The Megazord then landed on the ground and faced Scyther once again as the giant Commander angrily growled and glared at it.

"Damn you…Don't think I'm going to give up now!" Scyther exclaimed.

"Don't worry. We weren't counting on it." Dean said before he pressed the sword button on his Morpher. "Saber Mode!"

The Mega Nexus Blaster changed into its Saber Mode and the Megazord charges at Scyther and he did the same.

(Cue: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Full Theme Song)

Then both the Megazord and Scyther clash blades twice before they bring their weapons in a bladed lock.

The Rangers roared as they stepped forward, and the Megazord began to walk forward and pushed Scyther back before it pushed his blades, and the Megazord landed a powerful slash on its chest.

The Rangers then kick forward, and the Megazord followed by kicking Scyther with its Shovel foot, the Megazord then kept on the attack by attacking with its Chopper Shield Blade forcing Scyther to stumble back.

"Time to finish this! Super Nexus Blaster!" Dean calls out and the Super Nexus Blaster flies to his hand. "Alright! Limiter One, Unlock!"

Dean pressed the screen on his Morpher and the words 'Limiter One, Unlock' appeared on it.

"Limiter Two, Unlock!" Shin does the same with his Morpher.

"Limiter Three, Unlock!" Aaron followed along with Alisa and then Claire.

"Limiter Four, Unlock! Alisa said.

"Limiter Five, Unlock!" Claire said.

With that the engine on the Megazord's chest begins to rev up with multicolor energy and the multicolor flames shoot out from the Dozer Zord's exhaust pipes and the same flames appeared around the Falcon Zord's wings, and the Megazord's eyes lit up.

Then multicolor energy appears around the Mega Nexus Saber's blade.

Dean readies the Super Nexus Blaster and the other Rangers pull out their Blasters and aim them at Scyther.

"Nexus Prime Megazord, Saber Blast Final Attack!" The Rangers said before they fired their Blasters.

Then the Megazord uses its energy enhanced Saber to slash Scyther three times creating the Nexus Rangers' 'N' symbol. Then the Saber changes to its Blaster Mode and the Megazord aims and fires an 'N' energy blast at Scyther.

"This can't be!" Scyther shouted as he fell to the ground and exploded.

(End of song)

The Megazord swung its weapon to the side.

"Never underestimate humans!" The Nexus Rangers said.

In the Kaiser Sphere, Prince Crimson saw Scyther's defeat against the Rangers' Megazord.

He was enraged at first as he tightly clenched his throne's armrest and was about to break them, but Prince Crimson exhaled to calm down and lessen his hold on his armrests.

"No matter. This changes nothing. Once we make contact with this other Earth, then I'll make sure the Rangers suffer for this." Prince Crimson said to himself.

The Rangers were once again in the base's medical room where Pixel treated Shin's wound since it reopened during the battle.

"Ow, ow, ow…can you be a little gentler please?" Shin asked the AI.

"Believe it or not, this is me being gentle. Plus I did warn you that you shouldn't go out until it heals. But did you listen to me? No." Pixel said.

"Fine, fine…" Shin mutters before Pixel finishes treating his arm.

"There and this time, rest and let it heal." Pixel told the Blue Ranger.

"I got it…Jeez." Shin said before he got off the bed.

The others chuckle to hear that. Dean and Alisa then had nervous looks on their faces before they spoke to each other.

"Dean/Alisa, I…Oh, sorry do you…?" They said at the same time before Dean coughed in his hand.

"Do you mind if I go first?" He asked, and Alisa nodded. "Okay. Alisa, I want to say that I'm sorry. Ordering you to stay in the place was uncalled for and was it stupid of me. But I'm also sorry for not helping you with sorting out your feelings, especially with Kurt. I should've done better as both the leader and more importantly as your friend."

"Dean…" Alisa sighed before she told him this. "No, I'm the one who's sorry. And most importantly you were right."

The others were surprised by this, and Dean blinked.

"I am?" Dean asked, and Alisa nodded.

"Yeah. I made the mistake of going out in battle knowing that my head won't be in the game. Because of that, Shin got hurt trying to protect me. I shouldn't have fixated on the past like that. So I should be the one saying sorry." Alisa told him.

"Well…I guess we both learn our lessons the hard way." Dean said.

"Seems like it." Alisa said.

The Rangers then chuckle before Alisa stops and speaks out.

"But…I would be lying if I said I was ready to fight Kurt."

The Rangers gave her looks of understanding.

"Yeah…That's a given." Dean said.

"But…that doesn't mean I'm going to stand by and let him endanger you guys or the people here. Especially since he hadn't explained himself to me yet." Alisa told them and her friends were confused by that.

"What?" Aaron said.

"I know what you heard may have been the truth, Dean. But those were the words Kurt said to you but not to me. He hasn't told me his reasons in front of me. I don't want to believe Kurt betrayed us yet, so I've decided. Until we see Kurt again and hear his side of the story, I'm not going to give up on him." Alisa told her friends.

While the others smile to hear that, Dean thought about it before he sighed and rubs the back of his head and smiles at Alisa.

"Well…I guess he'll have a lot of explaining to do if that happens." Dean said, and Alisa smiles to hear that.

"Yeah. I guess he does…" Alisa said before she lowered her head.

Dean then walks up to her to give her a hug much to Alisa's confusion.

"I know you like to act tough, but there's no shame in letting it out once in a while. Especially with your friends by your side." Dean told her.

While she tries her best to hold it back, Alisa then begins to break down in tears and cries in front of Dean's chest as the Red Ranger continues to comfort her.

To respect Alisa's privacy, Claire, Aaron, and Shin soon left the room and walked in the hallway together.

"Man…That was supposed to be my thing. I guess I'll give Dean credit for this." Claire said.

"Then we'll make this one of the many things both Embryo and Kurt will have to pay for." Aaron said.

"Agreed." Shin nodded. "But there's one thing I still don't understand."

"What is it?" Claire asked.

"Why would Kurt help Embryo destroy the world?" Shin answered. "He may have his frustration that we should end the D-War, but I highly doubt he'll take it to such extremes."

"Yeah. That's a good point." Claire said.

Aaron sighed as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Well…I guess that's another question that he'll have to answer himself." Aaron said, and they nodded in agreement.

"Agreed." Shin said.

Whoa! Nice! I think my imagination may have gone wild here, but I'm quite proud of this chapter. Just like with all of my stories. I'm also proud I was able to post the design for the Nexus Prime Megazord.
