Hello everyone! Shunya Toshiki brings you another update for Power Rangers Nexus Force.
Except this time, I'm posting an intermission instead of a story chapter. The intermissions will be a series of shorts between chapters, where the characters of Cross Ange will learn the history of the Power Rangers.
And without further ado…Cue disclaimer!

Intermission 1: Redemption
In the Nexus Rangers' base, Dean Reilly, the Red Nexus Ranger, was seated in the command room and was looking at pictures of the six world leaders of Embryo's world with the computer.
Despite knowing about the evil, they did and their loyalty to Embryo, Dean can't help but to wonder if there's a way to…
"Dean?"
Dean blinks before he sees that Salamandinay along with Naga and Kaname had arrived in the command room.
"Oh, Salamandinay, when did you get here?" Dean asked.
"We just arrived. What were you doing?" Salamandinay asked as she and the others looked at the world leaders of Embryo's world. "Were you studying about the enemy?"
"Well…" Dean said before he sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Not exactly. I was just wondering if there's a way for us to reach out to the world leaders on the False Earth."
Salamandinay's group blink to hear that.
"If you're wondering that we should control them like with Emperor Julio, there's no need for that. I'm sure we can manage with just him." Salamandinay told him.
"No, not that. I was thinking we should try to talk things out with them. Convinced them what they're doing is wrong." Dean said, and they were surprised to hear that.
"What?" Kaname said.
"You can't possibly mean that?" Naga questions the Red Ranger, and he answers by nodding.
"I do." Dean said. "I want to believe there's a chance for us to understand each other."
"Then you should know that's impossible. They're servants of Embryo, their families and ancestors had been serving him for centuries. Each and every one of them is beyond redemption." Naga told him.
Dean sighs as he shakes his head before he looks at Naga and the others.
"I don't want to believe that. Not everyone is beyond redemption." Dean told him, and Naga scoffs as she remains unconvinced by that.
"And how would you know that?"
"Well…You'll be surprised. There's a lot of things that I know. Thanks to this." Dean said before he types on the computer and brings out a certain database and it shows images and videos of the history of the Power Rangers.
"Dean, what is this?" Salamandinay said as she and the others looked at the database.
"This is the Legendary Ranger Database. An historical archive containing 30 years' worth of Ranger history. History of Legendary Rangers from the past. Their Morphers, weapons, the Zords and Megazords. Including the history of past enemies." Dean said as he brings out images and videos of the mentioned archives in the Database.
"Interesting." Salamandinay said as she was deeply interested in this.
"But how will this prove your point?" Naga asked.
"Well, it just so happens that past enemies of the Power Rangers were able to change their ways and found redemption. Some of them even help the Rangers in their battle against evil." Dean told them, and they were surprised by this.
"Truly?" Salamandinay asked, and Dean nodded.
"But…But that's impossible." Naga stated.
"It's not actually. In fact, how about I show you?" Dean said before he accessed the archive of past Ranger enemies. "Let's see…Think I'll start things off with…This one."
Dean brought out a video of Dai Shi, the enemy of the Jungle Fury Rangers, in his spirit form.
"This is Dai Shi, an ancient and malevolent entity and the enemy of the Jungle Fury Rangers." Dean said before he brought out an ancient mural of humanoid animals fighting against an evil dragon. "10,000 years ago, Dai Shi strongly believed that beasts and animals should rule the Earth while humans should be destroyed. That led to a conflict known as the Beast Wars against the Pai Zhuq, the Order of the Claw."
The Database showed Master Mao revealing his Order's insignia which was the symbol of him being a Pai Zhuq master.
"During the Beast Wars, the masters of Pai Zhuq were able to defeat Dai Shi and sealed him inside of a box." Dean said as Master Mao showed the box that now contains Dai Shi. "In order to make sure that Dai Shi would never escape, the Order of the Claw would often select three students who had the potential to become masters to become the box's guardians. Those guardians were the Jungle Fury Rangers, Casey, Theo, and Lily. But that led to a confrontation with another student, Jarrod."
In the forbidden room, Jarrod soon enters to confront Master Mao.
"I spent 10 years in training! You just can't kick me out for no reason!" Jarrod exclaimed at Master Mao.
"Agreed. But I have a reason." Master Mao told him before he turned his back on him.
"You see, Jarrod was meant to be one of the box's guardians. But he would often misuse his power on others, and that led to him being replaced in favor of Casey. But his pride and jealousy wouldn't stand for it. That led to him attacking Master Mao in retaliation." Dean said.
Enraged by this, Jarrod soon charges at Master Mao to attack him, but Mao blocks his attack and the two engage in combat.
Jarrod attacks Master Mao several times but despite his skillful movement and strong attacks, the Pai Zhuq master was able to avoid and parry Jarrod's attacks with minimal ease showing the difference between them in their mastery in martial arts.
Master Mao kicks Jarrod which he blocks but Mao jumps in the air before he lands. Jarrod charges at Master Mao to attack him once again, but Mao counters by attacking Jarrod's chest with two fingers which sends him flying before he lands on his feet.
Jarrod lightly pants while glaring at Master Mao.
"Now go."
"Yes." Jarrod said before he heads to the exit, but he stops and attacks Master Mao with his Black Lion Animal Spirit.
When Master Mao notices that it was too late to counter or avoid it, Jarrod's animal spirit attacks Master Mao, sending him to the ground as the box which was Dai Shi's prison falls as well as it opens.
With that Dai Shi was now free as he appeared out of the box, unleashing a burst of energy which sent everyone flying as they fell to the ground.
"Free! At last…" Dai Shi roared before he set his sights on Master Mao. "Mao, my old friend. I had thought about no one else for centuries. But before I destroy you, you'll be a witness to the destruction of those dear to you."
Fearful about what he said, Jarrod soon took the chance to run away without looking back.
"After Jarrod unintentionally freed Dai Shi, he ran away while Master Mao sacrificed himself to protect his students." Dean said as the Database showed Master Mao rushing in to protect the Jungle Fury Rangers and Dai Shi attacks him mortally wounding him in the process.
In his dying moments, Master Mao's body turns into energy and leaves the forbidden room, entrusting Casey, Theo and Lily to defend the world from Dai Shi.
"But that wasn't the end of Jarrod's story, far from it." Dean said.
The Legendary Database had shown Jarrod moving in a forest in the hopes of getting away from the evil Dai Shi.
"I gotta get out of here." Jarrod said to himself before he heard a voice echoing in the woods.
"Jarrod…" Jarrod looked but no saw no one.
"Who's there?"
Jarrod then ran away as fast as he could, but he continued to hear the voice calling out to him.
"Jarrod!"
Jarrod made the mistake of stopping and turning as the source of the voice charges at him as he screams in fear.
"After Dai Shi had destroyed Master Mao, he sought out a new body for himself. And he thought of no better body than the man who freed him. Thus he took control of both Jarrod's body and his Animal Spirit." Dean said.
The Database shows Dai Shi now in control of Jarrod's body had returned to his temple and summoned forth his Rinshi army before he sat down on his throne, ready to resume his conquest of the Earth.
Then it showed Dai Shi, as the Black Lion Warrior, fighting against Casey in Ranger Form before he defeated him.
Then it showed him fighting against Master Fin, the Master of the Shark and almost destroying him.
"Huh! Looks like the end of the Shark Master!" Dai Shi said.
"He even used Jarrod's body to steal the Wolf Spirit from RJ, the Jungle Fury Rangers' mentor and their own Wolf Ranger." Dean said.
The Database showed Dai Shi fighting against RJ, where he slams the mentor onto a wall and drags him across it before throwing RJ to the ground. But Dai Shi isn't done yet, he soon moves to RJ and grabs onto his shirt.
"Get up!" Dai Shi demands as he picks RJ up and begins attacking him by kicking him on the leg and slams him to the ground before he growls at his face and throws RJ to the ground.
"Get up and fight me! Unleash your Wolf Spirit!" Dai Shi demanded as RJ stood up and refused to heed his demands.
"Not gonna happen. I'll never give you my animal spirit." RJ told him.
Dai Shi growled before he channels energy in his hand and slams that energy into RJ's chest, he almost succeeds as RJ's Wolf Spirit briefly appears before he manages to pull it back in his body and Dai Shi pulls his hand back and RJ screams and falls to the ground.
"He almost succeeded but RJ was able to resist his attempt. But the process had derailed his connection to the Wolf Spirit, which led to RJ losing control of his animal form before he was able to overcome it and regain his control over it once again." Dean said as he showed videos of RJ transforming into his animal form and attacking the Rangers.
"This is truly terrible. To think he wasn't in control of his own actions back then." Salamandinay said in sympathy.
"But this is supposed to prove your point, how?" Naga asked.
"I was getting to that. Don't worry." Dean said before he sped up to where Casey had entered Dai Shi's temple as the latter turned to the Red Ranger. "Despite the evil he had done under Dai Shi's control, Casey wasn't going to give up on Jarrod. So he invaded Dai Shi's temple to save him."
"So you dare come here?!" Dai Shi said to the Red Ranger.
Dai Shi roared at Casey loudly and the Red Ranger didn't even flinch before the Phantom Beast King stood up.
"You were foolish to come here, Tiger Master. It will be your undoing." Dai Shi told him.
"I'm not a master. I'm a friend." Casey told him.
"I don't have any friends. Only Dai Shi."
"He's not a friend, Jarrod. He's warping your mind. I've seen the real you with my own eyes." Casey stated as he steps forward.
"Look a little closer." Dai Shi said before he jumps at Casey and the two engage in battle.
Dai Shi then pins Casey to one of the pillars.
"We don't have to do this!" Casey told him.
"There's no turning back now." Dai Shi said before he threw Casey across the room.
The two engage in battle once again before Casey grabs onto Dai Shi's arm.
"You're powerful, Casey. But you're no match for Dai Shi!"
"Then you help me! Together we can destroy him!" Casey said.
"I am him!" Dai Shi proclaimed before he punched Casey, sending him flying before he crashed into a wall and fell to the floor.
Dai Shi roared before he took off his cloak and transformed.
Casey soon pulled out his Solar Morpher as he stood up.
"Whose idea was this again? Oh right…mine!" Casey said before he put on his Morpher and activated it. "Jungle Beast, Spirit Unleashed!"
After Morphering, Casey and Dai Shi circle each other and engage in battle. It then escalated to where Casey fought Dai Shi with his Jungle Chucks, but Dai Shi grabbed onto the Chucks and wrestled them out of the Red Ranger's hands.
Then the two ran and smashed into a wall which led to the weapons vault. The two soon stood up and began with Casey pushing Dai Shi to a wall and Dai Shi did the same.
Casey soon kicks Dai Shi away as he smashes into a rack of weapons, and he soon brings out the Shark Sabers.
Dai Shi picks up and throws a sword at Casey, and he deflects it with his Sabers, Dai Shi then picks up two spears and two clash weapons before Dai Shi sends Casey flying through the hole they made and falls into the throne room.
Dai Shi kicks the doors down and they soon clash weapons before Dai Shi pushes Casey to another pillar. Casey then manages to slip out and free himself before he knocks Dai Shi's spear out of his hands and slashes at him, but he dodges the Red Ranger's attack by rolling away.
Dai Shi then sends four energy blasts at Casey, and the Red Ranger dodges them, but the force of the blasts sends several pieces of debris falling to the ground.
Then both Casey and Dai Shi jump at each other to attack, and Dai Shi manages to knock the Red Ranger's Shark Sabers out of his hands.
Dean smiles to watch this battle while Salamandinay, Naga, and Kaname were on edge on who will win and if Casey can really save Jarrod from Dai Shi.
Then the two were in an arm lock as they crashed into another pillar.
"Jarrod! Look into your heart! You can fight this, I know you're in there! I saw you save Camille! Dai Shi never would've done that!" Casey calls out to him.
"No! I won't be defeated!" Dai Shi states before he throws Casey to the floor and transforms into his Phantom Beast Form.
Casey refused to give up on saving Jarrod as he stood up.
"Come on, Casey, you can do this! Jungle Master Mode!" Casey uses his Claw Booster to change into his Jungle Master Mode. "I'm not leaving without you!"
"You're not leaving, period!" Dai Shi said as he charged at Casey and the Red Ranger did the same.
Casey and Dai Shi once again fought, and their battle was fierce, and Casey avoided Dai Shi's attack by flying backwards.
"You foolish boy! Jarrod no longer exists! I have swallowed his humanity, he is now my slave." Dai Shi stated.
"No! You can't have him! He's Pai Zhuq, he's one of us!" Casey told him.
Dai Shi roared before he charges at Casey and attacks him, the Red Ranger dodges his attack by flying upwards and attacks Dai Shi with his Claw Booster sending the Phantom Beast King rolling on the ground.
Dai Shi then reverted to Jarrod's human form before he looked at the Red Ranger.
"Finish it! Do it!" Dai Shi told the Red Ranger.
But Casey lowered his stance and demorphs, he then took off his Solar Morpher.
"No. I won't destroy you, Jarrod. You're a human. A Pai Zhuq student…and I care." Casey told him.
"No…No! I am Dai Shi!" Jarrod declared.
Knowing that it wasn't true, Casey turned around and exposed his back to the possessed Jarrod.
"If you are Dai Shi…" Casey said before he threw his Morpher to the ground. "Then destroy me."
The possessed Jarrod stood up and charged at Casey to attack him…but in that moment, Jarrod was able to resist Dai Shi's control before the Phantom Beast King's energy appeared around his body.
"Thanks to Casey's resolve, Jarrod was able to free himself from Dai Shi's control." Dean said.
Jarrod roared before he fell to his knees and managed to force the evil spirit to leave his body.
After that along with Camille betraying Dai Shi, all three of them escape the temple.
"I knew you were in there somewhere!" Casey said, and the now free Jarrod smiles at Casey in gratitude that he was able to save him.
"Thanks, Casey. I owe you one." Jarrod said.
Jarrod and Camille then help the Rangers fight against the Phantom Beast Generals Scorch and Snapper. They even summon forth their own Zords to combine with the Megazord to defeat Scorch.
After the battle along with Casey earning his master stripes, Jarrod then kneels before the Tiger Master.
"Tiger Master, I am prepared for whatever punishment you deem appropriate." Jarrod said.
"No punishment necessary okay. We're gonna need you guys to help save humanity." Casey said.
"But despite what he said, Jarrod still felt guilty after what he had done under Dai Shi's control and left." Dean said as the archive showed Jarrod leaving feeling that he doesn't have the right to help them. "But after some encouragement from the Rangers and Camille, Jarrod arrives to help them in their final battle against Dai Shi."
The Database showed the Jungle Fury Rangers' final battle against Dai Shi as they looked up at him.
"Nothing we do can even weaken him!" Theo said.
"I can!" Said Jarrod as he arrived on the battlefield to help them. "We Pai Zhuq have to stick together."
"Alright!"
"Spirit of the Mighty Lion!" Jarrod transforms into the Black Lion Warrior and approaches Dai Shi. "I am here, Dai Shi!"
Jarrod then walks on top of a cliff and Dai Shi, in his true form, turns to his former servant.
"Ah! The lion has returned! Have you finally come to your senses?" Dai Shi questions him.
"Yes! You told me I had the strength of a lion but not the heart. But I'm here to show you that you're wrong!" Jarrod said before he brought out his Zocato Power. "The heart of a lion is noble and good! I can be too!"
"Using the power of his Zocato, Jarrod was able to weaken Dai Shi long enough to give the Rangers the chance to destroy him forever." Dean said.
Jarrod then jumps straight into Dai Shi's body and uses his Zocato to weaken him.
Using this chance, the Jungle Fury Rangers, Casey, Theo, and Lily use the power of their combined Animal Spirits to destroy Dai Shi.
Jarrod survives and falls to the ground, and Camilla rushes to his side.
"Are you okay?"
Jarrod pants and gave Camilla an assured smile.
"I'm better than okay. I'm good."
"And after the battle, Jarrod decided to start over again and re-enroll to the Pai Zhuq Academy with Camilla joining him. Taking beginner lessons from Casey." Dean said.
The Database showed Jarrod and Camilla taking the beginner class with other students with Casey teaching them.
"Aren't you two a little old to be taking a beginner's class?" A boy asked the former villains.
Jarrod chuckles.
"It's never too late to start over."
"So true."
"The Tiger Technique, learn it, love it. But most of all practice it. Okay, I got to bounce. My friend Jarrod here is going to take over." Casey said before he shook Jarrod's hand.
Jarrod then moves to pick up a towel and places it around Casey's neck, showing that he acknowledges him not only as a master but as a true friend.
Dean then paused the video, Salamandinay and Kaname were left in awe and Kaname was almost moved to tears by this.
"Th-This is truly remarkable." Kaname said as she tried to hold back her tears.
"I have to agree. Despite the evil he had done, they never gave up on Sir Jarrod, and he was more than willing to risk his life to help them." Salamandinay said.
While Naga could agree this moment in Ranger history was aspiring, she remained unconvinced about Dean's claim on how some people are capable of changing their ways.
"Hmph. But I still remained unconvinced on what you said about Embryo's False Humans." Naga said.
"Then how about another Ranger history lesson?" Dean asked, and Salamandinay and Kaname nodded eager to learn more. "Okay…For the next one…"
Dean then searches through the Legendary Database to look for another Ranger Villain.
"Let's see…How about…Oh, this one, without a doubt." Dean said before he brings out the archive of Ransik, the archenemy of the Time Force Rangers. "This is Ransik. The archenemy of the Time Force Rangers, and out of all of the Power Ranger villains, he's on the top ten at best."
Dean then showed footage of Ransik as he attempted to travel through time to change the future.
"Ransik was a mutant criminal from the year 3000 and considered to be the greatest criminal of that time. After seeing that he can't rule in his present, he sought to change it by ruling the past. He built a time machine to travel 1000 years into the past." Dean said as Ransik looked at his time machine.
"If I can't rule the present, then I'll just rule the past!" Ransik declared.
"During his attempt to conquer the past, Ransik had battled and even killed Alex Drake, the original Red Time Force Ranger." Dean said.
They then watch footage of Ransik battling Alex and defeating the Red Ranger by slashing on his back as he falls to the ground and explodes. Alex then dies in Jen's arms.
Salamandinay along with Naga and Kaname were stunned that Ransik was able to defeat a Red Ranger.
"My word…He defeated a Power Ranger." Salamandinay said.
"Yeah. Shortly after that, Ransik succeeded in traveling to the 21st century. The other Time Force Rangers, now led by Jen Scotts the Pink Ranger, follow Ransik using their own Time Ship." Dean said.
The Database showed footage of Ransik's base traveling through time and the four Time Force Rangers using their Time Ship to follow Ransik into the past.
"But this further proves my point. Even the evilest of villains are beyond any chance for change." Naga told him.
"Well, that may be true, but Ransik wasn't always like this." Dean said before he showed footage of Ransik's past. "Before Ransik had done his mask and started his criminal empire, he mostly scavenged for anything he could find just to survive, mostly due to the fact that people had rejected him because of what he looked like."
In a dark alleyway, heavy rain fell from the sky, Ransik wearing nothing, but ragged clothes were forced to dig through garbage to find whatever he could to survive.
That's when saw a human woman approaching him, and the moment she saw his face, she screamed in fear and ran away from him. In his despair by this, Ransik falls to his knees. That's when they saw his mutational scars on the left side of his face and head.
That's when Salamandinay, Kaname, and even Naga felt pity for Ransik now.
"I see. So he's similar to the Norma in a sense." Salamandinay said, and Dean nodded.
"Exactly. Because of that, Ransik was so filled with rage, he just lashed out at everyone. Even someone who once showed him compassion." Dean said.
The Database showed footage of Frax, who was once a kindhearted scientist known as Dr. Louis Fericks, who helped Ransik by curing the poison that had infected his body. But despite that, Ransik attacked Dr. Fericks and blew up his lap which left him gravely wounded.
He even lashed on his own daughter, Nadira, as they argued before he pushed her to the ground.
"Stop your babbling!" He exclaimed before he left to continue his attack on the humans.
Then it showed footage of Ransik fighting and defeating the Time Force Rangers one at a time as they demorph, even defeating the second Red Time Force Ranger, Wes Collins, who used his Battlizer to fight him.
Despite his wounded state, Ransik refused to fall as he roared. The wounded Jen found the strength to stand up and face him.
"I've waited for this…for a long, long time." Ransik said.
"My mission is to bring you back! And I promise you I'm going to do it!" Jen swore.
"Don't…make promises you can't keep!"
Jen then looks at her wounded teammates before she faces Ransik.
"Come and get me." Jen told him before she moves to a nearby factory and Ransik follows her.
"After a long and grueling battle, the Time Force Rangers were able to defeat Ransik but not before he learned his lesson the hard way." Dean said.
Ransik had followed the Pink Time Force Ranger into the factory as he looked for her.
He then saw someone moving between barrels, thinking that it was Jen, Ransik fired an energy blast at them creating a large explosion and the person he saw fell to the ground.
Ransik laughs while smiling in triumph before he approaches them.
"I knew I get you!"
Ransik laughs before he notices something was wrong, that's when Jen appeared behind him and aimed her blaster at him.
"Ransik!" Jen calls out and Ransik was shocked to see her.
Jen fires at Ransik and he falls to the ground. As Jen slowly approaches him, Ransik coughs as he sits up and to his own horror, he sees that the person he had attacked was his own daughter, Nadira who was carrying a baby in her arms.
"Nadira!" Ransik quickly rushed to her side and rested her back on his arm. "Nadira! What have I done?!"
"Is that?" Salamandinay said, and Dean nodded.
"Yeah. That's Ransik's daughter, Nadira." Dean said.
"Is he okay?" Nadira asked.
Ransik looks at the baby and checks on him.
"Yes, sweetheart. He's okay." Ransik told his daughter.
The other Time Force Rangers had arrived and saw what was going on.
"How Daddy? How could you hate something…so beautiful?" Nadira questions before she and Ransik look at the innocent baby in her arms.
"My heart has…has been filled with hate for so long. And that…nearly cost me the one person…I truly, truly love." Ransik said.
"Do you really love me, Daddy?"
To prove it, Ransik picks up and kisses his daughter's hand.
"More than life itself."
"Don't you see? Mutant's can love too." Nadira assured him.
Nadira then handed the baby to her father, and Ransik gently held him in his hands to look at the baby.
"We're not so different from humans." Nadira said before she and her father smiled at each other.
"After realizing that his hatred had nearly cost him the life of his daughter, Ransik finally let it go and surrendered to the Rangers." Dean said.
After Ransik hands the baby to Katie, the Yellow Time Force Ranger, he allows himself to be captured by the Rangers.
"I'm ready…to pay for what I've done."
Jen then brings out the cuffs and puts them around Ransik's wrists.
Kaname was smiling that Ransik was able to let go of his hatred while Salamandinay wipes away a tear on her eye and Naga was a bit surprised by this.
"This is truly heartwarming. To think it took his daughter and an innocent child to help Ransik change his ways." Salamandinay said.
"Yeah. I also find this truly inspiring. But little did they know back then, they needed Ranisk's help." Dean said which surprised them.
"Truly?" Kaname said.
"How so?" Salamandinay asked.
"Best that I show you." Dean said before he brings out the archive of the Wild Force Rangers. "During the Wild Force Rangers' battle against the Orgs, who sought to rule the Earth by pollution, they encountered three visitors from the future."
Appearing under a bridge were the three Mut-Orgs known as Rofang, Takach, and Kired as they landed on the ground.
"They're known as the Mut-Orgs. Creatures who have the combined power and strength of both Mutants and Orgs. Despite having help from Wes Collins, the Red Time Force Ranger, and Eric Myers, the Quantum Ranger, the Mut-Orgs prove to be more formidable than they can handle." Dean said.
It then showed the Mut-Orgs battling against the Wild Force Rangers along with Wes and Eric, and the Mut-Orgs of the future had completely overpowered and defeated them.
"My word…They're treating them like playthings instead of equal opponents." Salamandinay said.
"Yeah. And that's when they call upon Ransik for his help." Dean said.
When the other Time Force Rangers, Trip, Lucas, and Katie had arrived in their time ship, they happily reunited with Wes and Jen. That's when the Pink Time Force Ranger saw their old enemies Ransik and Nadira had traveled through time with them as they approached the Rangers.
Jen was about to pull out her blaster to attack, but Trip stops her and explains.
"Easy, Jen! Ransik and Nadira are here to help us."
Ransik and Nadira stopped in front of the Time Force Rangers.
"Time Ranger. We had a long and twisted history. I've done many horrible things in the past, allow me to make up for this one."
"You see, it was later revealed that Ransik was the one who created the Mut-Orgs." Dean said.
The Database showed footage of Ransik running in the wastelands while trying to avoid Time Force.
"After traveling in the wastelands, he stumbled upon the temple where the Orgs were sealed away for over thousands of years."
Ransik soon found his way to the temple, when he approached the temple, he saw the Orgs Rofang, Takach, and Kired were imprisoned inside of stone statues.
"Release us!"
"What are you?!" Ransik questions them.
"We are Orgs!"
"Humans imprisoned us in these stone tombs long ago!"
"What do you want?!"
"Revenge! Free us so we can punish humans for this! We can give you great power for your help!"
Tempted by this gift and understanding that they have a common enemy, Ransik was more than willing to help the imprisoned Orgs.
"If humans are your enemy, then our quest is the same!"
Ransik soon fires an energy blast at all three Orgs to free them and as astral bodies, they enter Ransik's body.
"After Ransik had freed them, the Orgs had copied his Mutant DNA to create their new bodies and in return, they turned every part of Ransik's body into a weapon."
The three Orgs, now as Mut-Orgs, had left Ransik's body showing their new forms. Ransik groans as he falls on one knee, that's when he sees a sword's grip appearing from his leg. Ransik then pulls out the sword out of his leg and he smiles to look at it.
The Mut-Orgs then left for their own mission while Ransik laughed and raised his sword.
Then it changes to the present Ransik who was in Animarium with his daughter and the Rangers as he finished his story to them.
"Back then I was filled with rage. I hunger for power, and because of it I freed those monsters. But now, I have a chance to make things right and help you destroy them. If you will trust me." Ransik told them.
The others then turn to Jen who was in deep thought about this, the Pink Ranger then made her decision before she stood up and approached Ransik.
"No matter how much we want to…we can't change the past. But we can work for a better future." Jen said before she uses her keycard to unlock Ransik's cuffs as they fall to the ground, showing she was willing to trust him and accept his help.
Grateful for this chance to make things right, Ransik shook hands with Jen.
After finding out where the Mut-Orgs, the Rangers along with Ransik and Nadira had arrived at a power plant where they plan on using it to create massive pollution.
"Let's split up." Cole said as he was about to move in, but Ransik stopped him.
"Wait. Help me get to the Mut-Orgs. I'm the only one that can negate their power." Ransik told him and Cole nodded.
While the others fight the Putrids, Wes, Cole, Ransik, and Nadira were searching for the Mut-Orgs.
That's when Rofang jumps down and lands behind Nadira, who turns to him while screaming before the Mut-Org slashes on her chest with his word and Nadira falls to the ground.
"Nadira!"
Ransik roars before he charges at Rofang to kick him away from his daughter.
The Red Rangers were about to move in to help, but Takach and Kired stop them as they jump down and battle the Red Rangers.
Ransik had quickly knelt down and picked up his daughter.
"Are you alright?"
"Oh, Daddy!" Nadira said as they hugged each other.
Rofang then charges at Ransik and slashes on his back dealing him damage as he screams.
Despite Wes and Cole's best efforts, the Mut-Orgs send them to the ground, and they soon set their sights on Ransik and his daughter.
They avoided a sword slash from Rofang, they soon manage to push their way through Takach and Kired.
Wes and Cole stood back up as Ransik and Nadira moved to them before Ransik hands his daughter to them and turns to the Mut-Orgs.
The three Mut-Orgs then brought their weapons together to channel their energy to use their ultimate attack.
"Go!"
"Run!"
Both Wes and Cole run away with Nadira, but they soon stop as they see that Ransik had stayed behind.
"As the Mut-Orgs prepared their ultimate attack, Ransik used this chance to destroy their Mutant powers that almost cost him his life."
"Ransik?"
"I created these monsters…Now it's up to me to fix my mistake!"
Ransik roars before he charges at the Mut-Orgs.
"No!" Nadira shouted as she wanted to move in to stop him, but the Red Rangers held her back as they tried to reason with him.
"Ransik!"
"Don't do it!"
Ransik then grabs the Mut-Orgs' weapons and channels his own energy to their bodies. Ransik soon turns to the Rangers and his daughter.
"Go! Get out of here, Nadira!"
After seeing they were on the verge of exploding, Wes, Cole, and Nadira turned around and ran away before Ransik exploded with the Mut-Orgs and they managed to outrun it.
When the explosions had finally stopped, Wes, Cole, and Nadira turned back to Ranisk and saw that large sparks appeared on his body as he fell to the ground.
The Red Rangers and Nadira rushed to Ransik while the three Mut-Orgs stepped back as they were now depowered.
"Mutant power gone! Retreat!" Rofang said as he and the others retreated.
"Daddy!" Nadira said in worry as she and the Red Ranger knelt down to Ransik with Cole holding his hand.
"Ransik."
"Hang in there, Ransik." Cole said.
The weakened and wounded Ransik grabs onto Cole's hand to tell the Red Rangers this.
"Rangers…I've destroyed their Mutant halves. You can finish them…Go! Go!"
Not willing to let Ransik's help go to waste, the Red Rangers nodded before they stood up and chased the Mut-Orgs while leaving Nadira to tend to her father.
"Thanks to Ransik, the Rangers were able to defeat the weakened Mut-Orgs. Ending their threat to the past and future." Dean said.
The Database then showed how the combined strength of the Time Force Rangers and the Wild Force Rangers fight the Mut-Orgs and their legion of Putrids and manage to corner the Mut-Orgs.
"Orgs!"
The three Red Rangers, Wes, Eric, and Cole had changed into their Battlizers to finish them.
"Your time is up!"
"What?!" Rofang said.
The others soon appeared and moved to the Red Rangers' side.
"Let's do it together guys!" Cole said.
"Chrono Blasters!" The Time Force Rangers said as they brought out and aimed their Blasters.
"Crystal Sabers!" The Wild Force Rangers said as they did the same with their Sabers.
"Fire!"
The Time Force Rangers and Wild Force Rangers fired a coordinated attack at the Mut-Orgs destroying them as they exploded.
"Incredible. Despite how humans had treated him in the past, Ransik was more than willing to sacrifice himself to help the Rangers in their time of need." Salamandinay said and Dean smiled in agreement.
"That's right. And the reward for his noble deed…Well, see for yourself." Dean said.
After defeating the Mut-Orgs, the Rangers soon return to where they had left Nadira and Ransik as Nadira had her head on his chest.
"Nadira?"
Nadira then smiles at them in joy.
"It's a miracle."
Nadira then helps her father stand up. Ransik, without his mask, turns to them to show that he was now free of his mutational scars and was completely human.
The Rangers smile and laugh to see this before Ransik saluted them.
"Hello, my friends."
Dean then paused the video and Kaname was now crying to see this.
"That was…just so touching." Kaname said before Dean handed her a box of tissue. "Thank you."
Kaname uses the tissues to wipe away her tears and blow her nose.
Dean folded his arms and smiled at Naga.
"Still think that most villains are beyond redemption?" Dean questions her.
While Naga admitted that Ransik helping the Rangers was indeed inspiring, but still…
"I…" Naga coughs in her hand. "I'll admit that was indeed inspiring. But I'm still unsure…"
"Will you still say that after seeing this?" Dean said before he brings out a historical archive within the Legendary Database. "This one here happens to be a personal favorite of mine."
Dean brings out the archive of Astronema, the archenemy of the Space Rangers.
"Her name was Astronema, one of the greatest enemies that the Power Rangers have ever faced. Most have often called her the Princess of Evil, the Dark Princess of Space, and even the Princess of Darkness. Heck, there was once a time she became the Queen of Evil." Dean said.
During the meeting of the United Alliance of Evil, led by Dark Specter, Astronema made herself known to the others by catching a bolt of lightning from Rita Repulsa that was meant for Divatox.
Then the Database showed how Astronema fought the Space Rangers. Then it showed her speaking to her army in the United Alliance of Evil's conquest throughout the universe.
"When we're finished. There will be no good left in the universe. No love. No happiness. Only chaos. Anger. Greed!"
Then her army cheered to hear this and Astronema smiled.
Then it showed how her right-hand man Ecliptor had sent this message to the universe and to the Alliance.
"Dark Specter is no more. Astronema, Princess of Evil, is now your supreme leader. It is for her that we fight. And for her we will conquer the universe. Good will be destroyed. And evil will rule."
That's when Astronema appeared to show that she is now the Queen of Evil.
"Not her again!" Divatox said in dismay.
That's when her forces bowed before the Queen of Evil and they even made the Alien Rangers bow to her.
"Hey! Hey! What is everyone doing?! Don't pray to her! You work for me!"
Then the Alliance's forces on Earth bowed before Astronema.
"This is truly a nightmare." Salamandinay said.
"Yes. But fortunately the Rangers never gave up and managed to save the universe, along with Astronema. It was later revealed that she was actually Karone, the long lost sister of Andros, the Red Space Ranger. After the Alliance's destruction from the Z-Wave, she was now free of Dark Specter's evil influence, restoring Karone to the side of good." Dean said.
After the Z-Wave, Astronema had changed back to her good and true self, Karone before she opened her eyes and saw her brother.
"Karone?"
"Andros?"
Salamandinay smiles to see that.
"I see. That is certainly good to hear." Salamandinay said.
"Yeah, but like Ransik, that was just a new beginning for Karone." Dean said before he brings out the archive of the Lost Galaxy Rangers. "After Kendrix, the first Galaxy Pink Ranger, sacrifices herself to save both Terra Venture and Cassie, the Pink Space Ranger by destroying the Savage Sword, the Pink Quasar Saber flies into space."
The Database showed how Kendrix fights her way towards the Savage Sword as it unleashes an energy storm. Kendrix then destroys the Savage Sword with her Saber and is caught in an explosion.
The other Rangers had arrived but it was too late. That's when the spirit of Kendrix appeared in front of them.
"I'm okay. I'll always be here."
That's when her spirit disappeared and the Pink Quasar Saber flew into space.
"Not long after that, the Lost Galaxy Rangers set out to find Kendrix's Saber to make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Karone also did the same, using her old Astronema persona, she infiltrated a weapons auction to get the Quasar Saber and to protect it."
In the auction, many begin to bid for the Pink Quasar Saber until someone gives their bid.
"One million!"
Everyone looked and saw it was Karone, disguised as Astronema.
"Astronema…"
After the auctioneer gave Karone the Saber to her, Trakeena, the main enemy of the Lost Galaxy Rangers, appears and sees through her deception.
"You're not Astronema! You are Karone." Trakeena declared.
Then it showed Karone and Trakeena engaging in a sword fight refusing to let her have the Saber, but Trakeena managed to gain the upperhand and corner Karone as she was now standing on the cliff slide.
"The mighty Astronema? Phooey."
Trakeena then grabs onto the Pink Quasar Saber and kicks Karone off of the cliff, Karone is now falling towards the ground.
"But in that moment, the spirit of Kendrix had appeared and saved Karone to give her the Transmorpher. That's how she took Kendrix's place as the Galaxy Pink Ranger, and she more than brought honor to the color." Dean said.
As Karone was falling towards her death, the spirit of Kendrix appeared and saved her.
"Hello, Karone."
"Kendrix?"
Kendrix then gave Karone her Transmorpher, she was surprised by this as she looked at the Morpher.
"You will become the Pink Ranger."
Then it soon showed Karone taking back the Pink Quasar Saber from Trakeena and holding it in her hand.
With that, Karone morphs and becomes the new Galaxy Pink Ranger.
Dean paused the video as Salamandinay's group were left in total awe by this.
"Amazing…So a past enemy of the Power Rangers had become a Ranger herself." Salamandinay said, and Dean nodded.
"Yeah and she wasn't the only one either. There were other Power Rangers like Karone who started off in dark paths. This guy being the most prime example of that." Dean said before he brings out a history archive of the legendary Tommy Oliver. "This is Tommy Oliver, the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger and he's pretty famous among the Ranger community."
"But he's similar to Karone isn't he?" Salamandinay questions, and Dean nodded.
"Pretty much. To begin Tommy's story, I'll start with the Mighty Morphin Rangers' past enemy, Rita Repulsa." Dean said before he brought out the historical archive of Rita Repulsa.
The Legendary Database then showed a video of how Rita was now free of her prison and resumed her conquest of the Earth. Then it shows how the Mighty Morphin Rangers had defeated Rita's monsters.
"After Rita had escaped from her prison, she was more than ready to begin her conquest of the Earth. The Mighty Morphin Rangers had more than once stopped her plans. But that's when Rita came up with this idea, that the best way to destroy the Power Rangers is with a Power Ranger. Thus she set out to create her own Ranger and she found the perfect candidate." Dean said.
"I'm Tommy." Tommy greeted his new friend Kimberly.
"After Tommy had passed Rita's test, she set out to capture him." Dean said.
The database showed a group of Putties ambushing Tommy to attack him and Tommy was able to defeat them. After that, Rita appeared before Tommy.
"Tommy! I have chosen you!"
"Nnnnnoooo!"
"Tommy did his best to fight it. But Rita's magic proved to be too powerful." Dean explained to them.
Tommy was then transported to Rita's castle.
"By using green chaos energy along with her magic, Rita was able to transform Tommy into the Green Ranger." Dean said.
Using her magic on the sleeping Tommy, he soon woke up and sat up before his eyes lit up in a green color, showing that he was now under Rita's control.
"How may I serve my Empress?"
After Rita had given him the Dragon Power Coin, Tommy transforms into the Green Ranger.
"To the fall of Zordon! And the destruction of the Power Rangers!"
Using his new found powers, Tommy has infiltrated the Command Center and begins disabling its systems despite Zordon telling him that he can help him.
Then the Database showed Tommy infiltrating the Rangers' Megazord and entering the cockpit.
"Long live Empress Rita!"
Tommy begins his attack by punching the Yellow Ranger which sends her to the controls damaging them.
After that, Tommy then fought the Mighty Morphin Rangers on the ground. Despite the fact that they had him outnumbered, Tommy was able to fight them on even ground.
"Rita's plan had almost worked. But the Rangers never gave up, they were able to destroy the Sword of Darkness and free Tommy of Rita's control."
The database then showed Tommy and Jason engaging in a sword fight. After a long battle between the Red and Green Rangers, Jason sends an energy slash at Tommy which knocks both of his weapons out of his hands and Tommy falls to the ground as well.
"It's all over, Tommy." Jason declared as he uses his blaster to destroy the Sword of Darkness.
Thanks to that, the Green Ranger demorphs and is now free of Rita's spell.
"Rita's spell is broken." Zack cheered.
Jason then approached the now free Tommy as he slowly stood back up.
"Are you okay, Tommy?"
"What's happening to me?"
"You're no longer under Rita's power."
Jason then helps Tommy stand up on his feet, but despite being free, Tommy is guilty for the evil he has done.
"What have I done?"
"What you did, you did under Rita's influence. You own the power now. Fight by our side and we can defeat Rita."
"After everything that's happened?"
The other Rangers move to him to further support Tommy joining their team.
"Tommy, we need you. It's where you belong. Will you join us Tommy?" Jason asked as he reached out his hand.
After realizing that this was his destiny, Tommy shook Jason's hand accepting his offer to join the team.
"Alright then…It's Morphin' Time!"
The Mighty Morphin Rangers Morph and stood side-by-side.
"Yeah! We're ready to Morph into action!" Jason declared as he strikes his pose and the others did the same.
"Six working together to fight evil!" Tommy said.
"And stop Rita!" Zack said.
"And all of her menacing monsters!" Billy said.
"From destroying our planet Earth!" Trini said.
"And ruling the universe with evil!" Kimberly said.
"Look out, Rita, we're not backing down because we're the…"
"Power Rangers!" The Rangers said together before Dean paused the video.
"And after that, Tommy sort of became a living legend to us Power Rangers and is considered to be the greatest Ranger who has ever lived." Dean told them.
"Then that is very inspiring to hear." Salamandinay said.
Dean then turns to Naga.
"So what do you think now?" The Red Ranger asked.
Naga was silent at first before she gave her answer.
"I'll admit…You have indeed proven your point." Dean smiles to hear that before she gives him another answer. "But…I'm afraid my personal feelings are different."
"Naga, you can't possibly mean that?" Kaname asked.
"Look even if you are right, even if Embryo's false humans are capable of change like you said, I'm afraid I'm not willing to forgive them that easily." Naga told him.
"Right. Understandable, but I'm not going to give up on that yet." Dean said, and Naga sighed.
"Alright, fine. But tell me this, do you think Kurt has the potential to change his ways?" Naga asked.
Dean flinches before he lowers his head, and Salamandinay grabs onto her shoulder.
"Naga, that's going too far." She told her.
Naga looks at the expression on Dean's face.
"Forgive me. I may have gone too far. Just forget I said anything." Naga said before she headed to the transporter to leave the base, Salamandinay and Kaname followed her.
Now that he is alone, Dean leans back and rubs his hands on his face.
"Not everyone is beyond redemption. But can the same really be said about Kurt?" Dean said to himself before he looked at the images of past Ranger villains who changed their ways and found redemption.
Dean sighed before he deactivated the Legendary Database.
"I'll worry about it once that time comes." Dean said before he stood up and left to head to his room so he could sleep.
(Months later)
After arriving in Arzenal during the Festa, Misty Rosenblum, the Princess of the Kingdom of Rosenblum requested to meet her former idol, Princess Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi.
She originally came to Arzenal because she couldn't believe that Princess Angelise, the person she admired and idolized, is a Norma.
That's when Angelise, now calling herself Ange, had appeared before Misty. Despite how much she had changed, Misty was able to recognize her.
That's when Ange kidnaps Misty to escape to save her sister Sylvia after receiving a call of help from her.
Thanks to the help of her loyal maid Momoka along with another Norma known as Hilda, they were able to escape Arzenal.
The officers of the Norma Management Board or NMB for short had found the ship they had stolen. They searched inside but found no one, except for Princess Misty who was stuffed in a mascot suit and was tied up.
The officers soon brought Misty home. She was in her room and seated on her bed along with her family who were relieved that she had returned and was now safe.
"Oh, Misty! Thank goodness that you're alright!" Her mother said as she hugged her daughter.
"Mother, please you're embarrassing me…" Misty said.
"I can't help it! I was worried to death about you!" Her mother said as she rubs her cheek against her own.
"We all were." Her sister said. "It was already bad enough that you were surrounded by all those filthy Norma, but then you were kidnapped by them. And the ring leader was that liar, Angelise. She should suffer dearly for that."
"Sister…" Misty said.
"Not just her. I'm going to make sure all of Misurugi pay for this." Her father, King Marik Rosenblum said.
"No. Father, that isn't necessary." Misty told her, and her family was surprised by this.
"What? Misty, why would you say that?" Her father questions her.
"I…" Misty said.
For some strange reason, Misty wasn't sure herself but she gave her father an answer.
"It was my own fault that I was kidnapped. I let my personal feelings for Lad…Angelise to distract me and for that I got careless. So please, this incident is entirely my fault. Don't blame Misurugi for it."
Marik thought about it before he nodded.
"Very well then. But I'm still sending a complaint to the Emperor and demanding an apology from him." He told her.
"That's fine." Misty nodded.
Marik then placed a hand on her shoulder.
"But until then, you are to rest in your room from now on. If you want to leave, then you must ask for my permission, understand?"
"Yes, I understand, Father." Misty said, and Marik smiled.
"Good. Rest well dear." Marik said before he and the others left the room.
Now that she was alone, Misty took a moment to ponder. Why did she try to defend Misurugi? Or maybe she was trying to defend Angelise instead.
She then thought about how she kidnapped her. Sure, she was surprised and frightened at first, but Ange only did it to save her sister. She doubts that any Norma…No, any person has that kind of resolve to save their family.
Misty then thought about the other Norma on Arzenal. From what she heard, most newborns will be sent to Arzenal all to be raised as soldiers, in fact some of them were taken from their own families including children.
Then when a Norma reaches 12 years of age, they will be eligible to pilot machines known as Para-mail, where they were forced to fight dimensional creatures known as DRAGONs, where they will no doubt stare death at the face and most of them will be killed.
Misty can't help but wonder why her own father and the rest of the world leaders would even make a system like this, or if this was truly the right thing to do.
Misty sighed before she lay down on her bed, she then used Mana to turn off the lights so she could sleep with more ease. Hopefully with some rest, she could forget all of these things in the morning.
But despite the lights being turned off, small traces of a bright light appeared on her face which caused her to wake up once again.
Misty sat up and saw the lights in her walk-in closet were now on. Misty blinks to see that.
"Strange…The lights shouldn't be on." Misty said.
Now curious about this, Misty stood up and approached the closet. That's when she saw an object through the small gaps of the closet's doors, Misty wasn't able to get a clear look, but she could tell it was large and was slowly spinning.
Misty then grabs onto the doorknobs and opens the door, with that a bright light appeared in front of her which forced Misty to shield her eyes.
The light managed to die down, and that's when Misty got a good look of the object in her closet.
The object was round and was made out of a crystal material. It almost resembles a star due to the six large blades around its body along with six smaller and colored blades colored in red, blue, white, gold, pink, and yellow.
The object that Princess Misty was looking at was the Legendary Ninja Nexus Prism. Little did she know, her encounter with the Prism will change the course of her life forever.

Between me and you guys, I greatly enjoy this one. I really like how the villains in the Power Rangers series, no matter how great or small, were able to change their ways and found redemption.
Also, I bet you didn't expect to see the Nexus Prism appearing in Misty's closet. I got the idea after reading her profile on wikipedia and the Cross Ange fandom. I know you're wondering about that, but you'll have to wait until the next intermission or two.
