So, this is a new story of mine. Similar to Unknown Legions 'Seeing Alternate Versions of Earthland' But, this wont just deal with Earthland or different Fairy Tail's. It will be a multiverse of viewing! Halo! DBZ! One Punch! Marvel! DC! Deadpool! Alien worlds and different outcomes of historical wars! Basically anything I feel like writing! Also, without saying they'll witness some of my main timeline characters or chapters, but there will be no interaction.
Simply put, this is just a random Earthland that gets the chance to view different timelines so it has no bearing on DotCOG, No Hope, Shifting or any of the others. Also, if a reader has an idea, send it to me. Can't make promises, but some do get written in.
I will also say this, first few timelines will be pleasant. No death or destruction, just…nice stuff for a few chapters.
Anyway…ONTO THE STORY!
Chapter One: The First Timeline
Magnolia, Mid summer, year 791
Waving lines of heat rose from the baked streets and buildings, the summer heat stifling for the day as citizens hurried about their business, eager to return home to some magically powered air conditioning.
Some of them shopped at the markets along the winding canal street, others worked with sweat dripping down their brows as the rabble of humanity thrived in the small, but vibrant city of twenty thousand.
Toward the southern edge of the city, whistling howls from an arriving train made itself known as the engineer applied the brakes with a hail of sparks along the iron rails. Finally halting at the large platform covered in shade from numerous awnings, the long collection of passenger cars stopped with finality.
Exiting the rear most car, Cosmos of the Garou Knights emerged, the woman stepping aside for her partner, Kamika.
Wearing her signature white hat with six dots, the pink haired woman wore a white dress that flared outward at the knees, showing off her smooth legs. Her boots were green, matching her undershirt that strained against her ample bosom. "This weather is not beautiful at all" Watching several nearby citizens, the executioner found no issue as Kamika rested a firm hand on the hilt of her sword.
Several inches taller than Cosmos, Kamika was far more slender than her partner. Dressed in her normal purple kimono with a red belt around her waist, the woman gave a light smirk while brushing the hanging bangs that framed her face.
"It's not that bad, Cosmos" she stated as the shade of the awning diminished the heat of the summer day. Idly toying with her midnight locks, the two waited as Queen Hisui stepped off the passenger car.
Smiling brightly, the queen was the epitome of regal beauty as she studied the two, her flowing green hair tucked behind her crown with a large red jemstone in the center of the golden band. Wearing a dress of maroon coloration, it meshed with her white boots, leggings, and white vest adored with bright brass buttons.
"Ahh! This is so exciting! I never get away from the palace, but a small vacation is well worth it" Starting to walk toward the exit of the train station, Cosmos and Kamika fell to her flanks, both taking the duty seriously.
"I still don't understand why you want to visit them in this unbeautiful heat" Cosmos asked as the trio moved into the city proper, walking along the wide boulevards to their destination at the north end of the city.
"Because they helped saved Fiore during the Grand Magic Games despite your misjudgment. Plus, they're such fun, energetic mages!" Bubbling excitedly, Hisui strode forward as many citizens gave a wide berth to the queen.
Well…more specifically, her two guards.
"The scary one is there" Kamika uttered with a hint of contempt, the knight scanning the citizens for perceived threats.
"Oh…your just mad because you haven't had any missions lately"
"Protecting the royal family is the greatest mission, your highness" Kamika replied rapidly as the trio crossed over the canal street bridge.
"It is a beautiful task for us" Cosmos admitted as the towering guild of Fairy Tail soon loomed in sight. Watching Hisui for a moment, the pink haired knight flinched as some sweat started to pool down her cheeks. "Even when you sweat, its beautiful Queen Hisui"
"Please don't be weird" Smiling with a threatening grin toward the knight, the ruler of Fiore retuned to the task of traversing the city toward the infamous guild as the summer heat bore down on all.
Nearly half an hour later, Queen Hisui and her two guardians arrived at the gate of Fairy Tail, the guild hall a towering structure of stone battlements, towers, and multiple flags showing the guild's familiar symbol.
Surrounded by a low wall of stone that faced the road, the property was nestled among several shops and business, many advertising chilled drinks for the pedestrian traffic.
"Finally. I thought we would never arrive. I should have insisted on a magic mobile" Kamika uttered, the bodyguard stepping past the open gates toward the guild. Wiping a small amount of sweat from her brow, the slender knight hoped the guild was cooler inside.
"It's alright, Kamika. I think it did us all some good to be seen by the average citizen" Smiling, Hisui hid the fact that she craved a cool glass of water as she stepped onto the short stone path toward the wooden double doors of the famous hall.
Strangely, there was a brown box sitting directly near the door. About two feet long and wide, it rose approximately twenty inches in height.
"How unbeautiful. I will destroy it" Cosmos grinned with wickedness. Extending her hand, she was preparing plant magic before the queen called out.
"I'm fairly certain it is just a package for the guild. Please carry it inside"
Halting the growing vines gripping the box, Cosmos silently groused, but listened to the order. Waving the tendrils, she lifted the box into her arms as Kamika proceeded to the door. Opening it swiftly, the queen and her guards were treated to a sight of chaos within the hall.
Many were in groups at tables, eating or talking with excitement about past jobs, others wrestling or starting to pick fights as a few bottles were thrown.
Happy was sitting on the rafters with the other two exceeds, the blue cat eating a fish with Carla and Pantherlily.
Cana Alberona lounged at the bar, her blue bikini top supporting her large assets as she drank from a barrel. Setting it down with a loud thud, she wiped her chin as her father read a dirty magazine at a nearby table. Ignoring her old man, she turned her attention to Gray across the hall. "Yo Gray! Give me some ice!"
"What? No, I'm busy dealing with this ash for brains!"
"Hah! Why would Cana want to be cold anyway! Heat is awesome! The hotter the better!" Natsu retorted with a wide grin.
"Not everybody enjoys being burned you char-head!"
"What did you say, you frozen piece of crap!" Starting to fight, Elfman cheered on as he flexed for Evergreen.
"HAH! Manly muscles require manly solutions!"
"Gray is soo cool! Juvia will gladly be frozen…" Watching from the side, she gave a small glare to Cana. "Possible love rival?"
"Yeah! I got it! Your Manly" The brunette Earth mage replied as she sat with Laxus and the others near her romantic interest.
"MANLY!"
Toward the end of the bar closest to the door, Erza ate a slice of strawberry cheesecake, the redheaded woman dressed in a white blouse and blue skirt rather than her normal armor. Savoring the taste, her eyes flinched as several chairs were broken. "Hey. Don't disturb my dessert"
"Oh…right. Yeah, we're best friends!" Shaking each other's hand, Gray and Natsu backed off as Lucy complained toward Mira and Lisanna.
"Isn't anybody going to stop those old perverts from reading dirty magazines in the guild!?"
"Hey! Swimsuit magazines don't count, right my awesome daughter?" Grinning, Gildarts held up the magazine, the cover showing a bikini clad beauty.
"Shut up, dad" Going back to her drinking, she ignored her father as Mira turned toward the open door.
"Oh my! The queen is in our guild!"
"What!?" Makarov yelled from the back as he ran forward, still clutching a risqué magazine. Grinning, he waved toward the queen and her guards. "Queen Hisui! What a ple—ahh! Why did Macao give me this filth!" Throwing it at the father of Romeo, the short elder wiped his palms of the smut before spreading his arms. "Welcome to Fairy Tail! Please ignore those disgusting men in the back!"
"We saw you reading that" Kamika replied with crossed arms as she turned her gaze to Mira, her gaze narrowed. "The Scary One"
Mira waved with a smile, the bubbly mage sliding another slice of cheesecake to her old rival.
"To think that a guild with such high standing would read such filth. Let me kill him beautifully" Cosmos asked as she used several vines to hold the box, her attention on the guild master who sweated from the threat.
"No no, it's quite alright" Giving a warm smile, Hisui clasped her hands together. "I simply came for a short visit since your guild did save the kingdom. Plus, I wanted a little time away from my duties"
"I see. Well, please make yourself at home!" Turning on his heel, Makarov glared at all the mages. "Behave yourselves you insane brats!"
"If you're going to worry, watch Natsu" Gajeel joked as Levy walked up, her blue hair pressed down by a green headband. Wearing a yellow summer dress with thin shoulder straps, the script mage pointed to the box.
"Did you bring us a gift?"
"Actually, it was outside your guild" Hisui explained as she gave a nod to Cosmos, the busty guard giving a sigh before she set it on a table near Wendy who lightly flinched at the crazy woman.
"Interesting…" Makarov pondered, the man stroking his chin.
"AH! LET'S OPEN IT!" Rushing forward, Natsu tore open the box with manic glee.
"Be careful! It could be fragile!" Lucy reminded her friend with a scolding tone, but her words were ignored as the brown exterior was ripped away.
"Huh? What is it?" Laxus inquired as multiple mages looked at the object now resting on the table.
It was a dull gray cube about one foot in length, width and height. A series of lenses occupied one side of the cube very much like the compound eyes of an insect. On the top were two buttons, one green and one red while a small note of paper was taped to the dull material.
Levy picked up the note, her natural curiosity getting the best of her. "Let's see…it says 'Press the green button to view a timeline. Press the red button to sever the connection. Enjoy watching different timelines of the multiverse. From T.H. and S.L.M.
"T.H? S.L.M? are those initials?" Wendy asked.
"Well, Levy's are L.M. but she doesn't have an 'S' anywhere in her name. As for T.H? Who knows?" Droy shrugged before returning to his plate of food.
"…I don't get it" Natsu finally admitted as he stared into the multiple lens.
"Does it link to Edolas? That was a mirror universe" Bisca stated as she sat with her husband, watching as Asuka ran around like children do.
"Perhaps it allows the user to view an entirely different Earthland?" Levy suggested as Erza approached, the beautiful red head setting a bare hand on the device. "I don't sense any magic from it. Nor ill intent"
"Let's try it out! Could be fun!" Lisanna cheered from behind the bar before clapping her hands in support.
Kamika crouched low, looking into the side of lenses as Natsu continued to stare. "The craftsmanship of these lenses is high quality. I also don't sense any ill intent from this device"
Hisui cocked her hip, the royal woman studying the strange object before giving a low nod. "If you believe it is safe, then I see no risk. Let's see if this works as advertised. Plus, who knows, maybe we will learn something that could benefit our kingdom"
"That is a very beautiful conclusion. Very well, you heard the queen! By royal decree, we shall 'Watch the Multiverse!" Balling her fists, Cosmos rested them on her hips in a show of superiority.
"Why did you say it weird?" Natsu asked.
"I did not!"
"Please step out of the way you two. I think this side is how we can watch" Moving the cube, Levy pointed it at the back wall where no windows were present. Centering on a section devoid of support beams or any other objects, it would be adequate as the guild waited.
"So…who's gonna push the button?" Romeo asked while looking around the guild at his family and friends.
"Heh. I'll do it. After all, I'm great at pushing buttons" Grinning, Gajeel strode forward and without fanfare, pressed his palm on the green button.
A flash of light erupted from the multitude of lenses, then the cube gave a small hum as previously hidden lines on its exterior surface lit up with ebbing pulses of blue.
"WHOA! THAT'S COOL!" Natsu shouted with excitement as he sat at a nearby table with Erza.
"It hasn't started yet, you idiot" Gray shot back before shrinking from the deadly glare of Scarlet. Taking a seat nearby, the ice mage sighed as Juvia sat next to him, the stunning water mage trying to squeeze close.
Suddenly, the light focused with a waver as the projection flickered, then showed an image of the Fairy Tail guild hall upon the distant wall. Stretching nearly thirty feet wide, and twenty tall, it was more than enough for all to see.
"Alright! Let's see what this is all about!" Laki cheered as the guild, Hisui, and her two guards settled in to watch.
The view suddenly zoomed inside the alternate building, showing a multitude of mages within.
Mira was standing on a ladder, her arms outstretched as she hung some glittering pink letters across the main hall, the barmaid concentrating. "Almost got it…there!" Smiling at a job well done, she climbed down the ladder to scrutinize her work. The words flared out 'CONGRATULATIONS!' the individual letters giving a light ebb of magic.
"Looks good, Mira" Lisanna said with a warm tone as she carried a cake with pink frosting toward nearby table. "Lucy, Cana, can you bring out the plates? And Laxus? Protect this cake from all of…them" Pointing toward Macao, Gildarts and Gajeel, Lisanna stared blankly.
"Oh, come on! It doesn't even look that good" Gajeel waved off as he lounged at a table, the dragon slayer looking positively bored.
Lisanna's eye twitched as she turned to Laxus. "Feel free to torment him for insulting my baking and hard work"
Laxus grinned as he stood guard at the table with the large cake, the blonde, broad shouldered man cracking his knuckles. "Ready to get your bones broken?"
Gajeel gulped, then rapidly looked away with a hint of dread. "The light messed with my eyes…it looks delicious…hah"
"I guess they're celebrating something? Maybe a birthday?" Lucy guessed.
"Just for the record, I would never insult Mira or Lisanna's cooking! I don't have a death wish after all" Gajeel rapidly informed his friends, the slayer trying to cover his bases as both of the Strauss sisters glanced his way.
"Protecting a cake…I mean, its not bad?" Evergreen pointed out as her team-mates simply went back to watching this other timeline unfold.
"Hah! I bet I could eat that whole cake! Plus, it's got salmon frosting" Natus proclaimed with smugness.
"Pretty sure that's pink" Levy quipped before she too, continued to watch.
Wendy was hanging some streamers with Carla, the young woman unfurling crinkly paper of white and pink that hung down from all points around the hall. Suddenly squealing, the kind girl almost dropped the roll. "AHHH! I CAN'T WAIT!"
"I know! This is so cool!" Drinking from a flask after setting down multiple plates, Cana returned to the kitchen behind the bar to retrieve some glasses.
Suddenly, the guild hall doors burst open, showing a frantic Happy as he flew toward Mira. "They're almost here! AHHHHH!"
Mira's eyes bugged out, then she practically became a general as she started to bark out orders. "Laki! Bowls of punch! Evergreen and Gray, get all the snack platters out here on the double! Pantherlilly, help Carla and Wendy finish up right now! Levy and Gajeel, watch the windows! I want to know the second they arrive! Gildarts! Don't you dare say anything weird or creepy! Now everyone move!" Clapping her hands, the entire guild flew into overdrive as the mages hustled under Mira's watch.
"It's gotta be a surprise birthday party" Gray concluded with a swift nod.
"I don't see Natsu or Erza in this other timeline. Perhaps the party is for one of them?" Hisui added, her reasoning solid.
"It's possible. After all, we don't know the date so they could be throwing my…er…double? The other Erza a party which would be welcome so long as the cake has strawberry frosting"
"I must admit that the other Mira sure can command when she wants to. I'm sure ours could do the same with a surprise party at stake" Makarov added. Going silent, the guild continued to watch the frantically preparing mages as they scurried about with all manner of tasks.
"AH THEY'RE AT THE GATE!" Levy and Gajeel yelled in unison as the two retreated from the windows facing the frontage property.
"EVERYBODY GET IN POSITION!" Mira threatened as she stood in the center of the hall, directly under the large 'CONGRATULATIONS' sign. All around her the other members gathered, each with excitement and underlaying joy.
Suddenly, the guild hall doors were kicked inwards as Natsu strode in with the biggest smile on his face. Joined by Erza, the red haired knight was dressed in a flowing yellow dress that hugged her curves. With her own small smile, she pushed a stroller with a newborn baby wrapped in a pink blanket "HEY! THE DRAGNEEL'S ARE HERE!"
Mira raised her arms as the entire guild shouted at the top of their lungs. "CONGRATULATIONS ON THE BABY YOU TWO!"
"Oh my, this is certainly a surprise" Erza exclaimed as she walked forward with her husband.
"Wait…WHAT!?" showing waves of shock, the mages slowly looked toward Erza and Natsu, both of them frozen in place.
"N…Natsu…a…and Erza are…are married there?" Lucy stammered as her teammate began to burn bright red.
"A baby with Natsu? That means we…we" the images of bedroom activities flowed through Erza's mind as her ears steamed.
"Hey alright Natsu! Erza's a babe!" Gildarts congratulated with a thumbs up and winking eye. Drinking his beer, the crash mage slowly nodded. "Hey, maybe that could happen here too. But you gotta give me the details"
"ARE YOU TRYING TO GET ME KILLED!?" Natsu roared as he slowly heard the muttering from Erza. Turning his head, his friend was simply muttering. "lewd…husband…wife…me…Natsu…baby…making babies…" Trembling, the knight was in her own mind as Gray doubled over nearby, his face turning a sickly green.
"Oh god…this means that Natsu managed to…to procreate"
"Now that is a nightmare" Gajeel agreed as his eyes wavered with horror.
"I think I'm going to be sick…" Clutching his stomach, Gray didn't mind the reassuring squeeze of Juvia as she wrapped her arms around him.
"Don't worry Gray! We can have babies too!"
"GAHHH!" Unleashing a low yell of agony, the ice mage collapsed to the floor as his body twitched.
"You two are completely over-reacting!" Lucy scolded as she waved a hand in front of Erza. "I think she's broken"
"What a beautiful situation. My queen, you should pay for their wedding when the time arrives" Cosmos suggested with a pointed finger in the direction of the subject matter.
Hisui had to agree with her guard. "That is a fantastic idea. Very well! When Natsu and Erza marry, I will provide a lavish banquet!" Crossing her covered forearms beneath her bust, the queen found no fault in her statement.
"AHHH!" Evergreen suddenly screamed out, her chest heaving as terror gripped her heart. "What if Erza becomes even more terrifying during a pregnancy! Just think of her now, but with all those raging hormones! She would kill us for cheesecake!"
"We're all gonna die!" Happy bellowed as the cat began flying in frantic circles near the ceiling.
"HE'S RIGHT! PANIC!" Several members of the guild cried out as they started to run around at the mere thought of a terrifying, pregnant Erza.
"S…sex with Natsu…Natsu…YOU PERVERT!" Suddenly rebooting her mind, Erza swung at where Natsu had been sitting, only to swipe her hand through air as the fire mage hid behind the bar, waiting for his friend to calm down. "Erza! I didn't do anything, I swear!"
"Then explain that!" Pointing to the wall and unfolding timeline, the red head started to rise out of her seat to properly punish the man while re-equipping a sharpened blade.
"AhhH! She's soooo cuteeee!" Mira squealed after the surprise greeting. Rushing to join her friends, the woman stared down at the little baby in the stroller. "What's her name!?"
"Rose Dragneel! And I'm gonna teach her fire magic!"
"With sword skills" Erza hastily added before picking up her little bundle of life. "Of course, that's still far in the future by several years. She must learn to walk first" Holding her in a cradling support, Erza lightly stroked the fuzzy pink hair of the little girl.
"Ohhh…can I hold her? She's just so cute!" Mira asked as more of the women gathered around, each cooing at the baby.
Natsu walked off toward the bar, letting his wife and the other women talk. Eyeing Gray, Gajeel and Elfman walk up, the trio were grinning.
"THAT IS THE MANLIEST BABY I'VE EVER SEEN!"
"I'm still surprised you survived Erza's pregnancy. Do you remember that cheesecake craving frenzy she had a month ago? I thought we were all dead" Laughing at his own joke, the black haired iron mage suddenly shuddered at the memory.
It had been far too close.
"I suppose I should congratulate you" Gray said casually before leaning against the bar himself.
"Eh, don't worry about it. After all, I won"
"Won what?" Gray asked with a cocked brow, the ice mage unsure.
"At everything! Fire Magci! I won! Dated a woman before you! I won! Married! Victory! And lastly, A child to torment you in the future!" Pumping his fist, Natsu grinned with an evil smile. "Just you wait, Gray. I'm gonna teach her to light your frozen ass on fire!"
"You…fire roasted bastard!" Yelling with new found anger, Gray glared with rivalry sparks.
"Eat it ice cube! I just beat you in every life category! I even have a great house with my wife and daughter while you won't even go on a date with Juvia! HA!"
"Oh…OH YEAH! Well, I can date too! Hey Juvia, lets get lunch together on a date tomorrow!" Pressing a pointed finger against Natsu's chest, the ice mage grinned with a cocky laugh….which rapidly disappeared as Juvia appeared in a puff of rain droplets, her arms latched onto Gray's with a stunning smile.
"We can plan the names of our children"
"Oh shit…CRAP! You bastard, did you trick me!?" Trying to wiggle out of Juvia's grasp, the woman wouldn't let go as her arms became like a vice grip.
"You're done now, Gray! She won't let go!" Laxus roared with laughter as the rest of the Thunder Legion joined in at the predicament.
"He really messed up that time!" Bicslow added with a grinning outburst of humor.
Juvia watched the events unfold, her mind racing. "If Natsu and Erza have a baby here…it will make Gray date Juvia…"
"Don't take that other timeline as a gui—" Gray tried to reason as his stomach threatened to upchuck his meal.
"YOU TWO NEED TO HAVE A BABY SO JUVIA WINS THE HEART OF GRAY!"
Forming a water heart around the two, Juvia tried to entangle the knight and fire dragon until Erza cut through it with her blade, her cheeks still heated at the implication.
"I will not!"
Levy ignored the insanity, the script mage cocking her head to the side before speaking over the pandemonium. "I wonder what occurred to get those two together?"
"That's a good question. Maybe if all you damn brats would calm down…"
"Still so awful to thin…think about" Gray wheezed with green tinted sickness.
"Don't you dare vomit on my floor!" Makarov finished before clearing his throat. "Let's all remember this is a different timeline with an obvious unexpected marriage between Natsu and Erza. Perhaps if we continue to watch, we will learn more"
Cana grinned impishly, the brunette drinking from a frothing mug on a seat next to her father. "I mean…it's not so farfetched? Just like those old stories of knights and dragons, except they're in the guild"
"Don't make me take your alcohol away" Erza threatened as she finally calmed down, causing the busty lush to gasp in horror. Retaking her seat as Natsu nervously sat at his, the woman continued. "I do have to admit they both look rather happy. Perhaps this other Natsu matured somewhat to win his wife's affections" Still avoiding her friend, the guild finally settled down to watch some more.
Lucy held the little baby, making cute little noises at Rose while Erza and the Strauss siblings stood nearby, each having retrieved a slice of cake.
"Just you wait Rose, Aunt Lucy is taking you shopping when your older"
"And I'm going to be her super cool aunt!" Puffing out her chest, Mira knew it would happen.
Wendy approached with Asuka and Bisca, the newly added trio grinning at the new addition to the guild. Eating her own slice of cake, Bisca could only approve of the warm vibes flowing through the hall as the party started to get underway. "If you need any help, I can offer advice. I did go through this already"
"That would be appreciated" Erza added as she savored her favorite dessert with motherly approval.
"Mom, she's so tiny!" Asuka added as she stared with Wendy at the baby. "Ah! I'm a big sister! Yay!" running off, the little girl went to get some snacks.
Wendy giggled as the infant gripped an extended finger, not letting go. "Look! She likes me!"
"She sure does" Retaking her child from Lucy a few moments later, Erza settled Rose back in the stroller.
Alzack joined his wife, watching the infant with fondness. "I still can't believe you two got married. After all, just think about when Lucy joined the guild all those years ago. No indication of romance at all between you two"
Erza unleashed a warm, womanly laugh, then studied her husband now taunting Gray wrapped up in Juvia's arms. "It did take a long time, but after the Tower of Heaven, I think Natsu realized how close he came to losing me. Of course, he was so dense back then he probably didn't realize it. Then you know how we left on a year long training mission to improve our magical strength. That time alone together…it was wonderful" Sipping from a glass of punch, Erza then continued. "After that, we got married and I'm positive little Rose was conceived during our wedding night"
"Hah! Now that's what I'm talking about! Any details you can share of Erza, buddy? You know…from the bedroom" Gildarts pried while nudging Natsu for some information as several of the older men leaned to listen with lecherous grins.
Natsu glanced at his wife who was resting her hands upon a table, her glare at the perverts turning to anger. Throwing up up his hands, Natsu turned away from the crash mage, Macao and Wakaba. "Nope! Nothing at all"
"FILTHY PERVERTS!" Throwing a full table at the older males, they were bowled over and embedded into the far wall, each twitching. Fortunately, Natsu had dove out of the way, the father standing and dusting himself off.
"Like I'm stupid enough to reveal those details. Did they forget my wife is Erza?" Shaking his head as Gildarts used his crash magic to free himself, Natsu rejoined his wife, neither of them concerned with the suffering of the embedded men in the wall.
"I have to admit, my double deserved that. You can't just ask for details like that in public. You have to be sneaky about it" Gildarts said, the man convinced nothing else was wrong.
"You're missing the point! None of them should be asking about…b…bedroom a…activities!" Erza tried to scold, but her mind reverted to the lewd possibilities between herself and Natsu.
Her thoughts were very detailed.
Kamika slapped a balled fist into her open palm, the slender guard pleased with herself. "I pieced it together! Natsu and Erza of this other timeline found romance after a year long training mission together"
"We know, Kamkia. We all heard the explanation" Hisui lightly chided as the blue cat flew around above Natsu and Erza.
"I better have gone with! Natsu's my friend!"
"Don't worry buddy. I'm sure my other self brought you with!" Natsu exclaimed with a thumbs up.
"Hey shut up! My other self is gonna hold the baby, which means I'm awesome!" Gajeel barked out as he concentrated on the parallel timeline.
Gajeel approached the tiny baby held by Erza, the man joined by Levy as he grinned. "Hey, mind if I try holding her?"
Erza smiled, ignoring the outstretched arms of Mira who whimpered. "Sure, just make sure to support her correctly" Handing over her child, Gajeel grinned down at the infant. "Hey Rose, its your new uncle Gajeel"
Rose looked up at the man, the baby studying the metal studs, black hair and angles of the face before her. "WAAAAAA!" Immediately starting to cry, the baby wailed as Erza immediately took back her daughter with soothing tones.
"Dude! Your face is terrifying! Why did you think you could hold my child!" Natsu shot out, the father showing his temperament.
"I wanted to be supportive! She's probably just hungry!"
"No way! You terrify children just by entering the room!" Bicslow added as Elfman shook his head in disappointment below some pink streamers.
"So unmanly!"
"All of you can shut up!" Pouting, he sat down at a table with a huff, his arms crossed.
"It's alright Gajeel. Babies cry for lots of reasons. I'm…sure it wasn't your face" Levy tried to reassure with a supportive pat of his shoulder.
"Nah, it was definitely his face. I mean, I get sick looking at it" Natsu said out loud.
"Hate to agree with Natsu, but he's right. You're like a villain" Max added in support, the sand mage giving a light chuckle as several more mages added in fits of laughter.
"Oh yeah! Well, I'll just go find some babies and prove I'm not scary!" Starting to get up, the man felt a slender hand grip his shoulder. Craning his head, Levy stared back with a strained smile.
"Please don't. We don't need you going to prison. Now calm down and let's see if we can learn anything else"
Huffing with a glare at Salamander and the others, Gajeel complied.
Lisanna made goofy faces at Rose, causing the baby to give a light giggle after calming down. Placed in her stroller, several of the women were still crowded around in awe of the child. Standing herself straight, she looked at the couple nearby, talking with Alzack and Bisca about parenthood. "Do you plan on having any more, Erza?"
Breaking off her conversation with Bisca for a moment, the stunning redhead looked her way. "Perhaps. I know Natsu would like a son as well. But if we do, it will still be a few years into the future. Plus, once I'm fully recovered from childbirth, I would like to resume quests with my husband to earn a viable income" Holding her chin in contemplation, Erza thought out loud. "I will need to find a babysitter in the future as well…" Glancing her way toward Cana, the bikini top wearing mage spluttered while almost choking on her drink.
"Don't look at me! I can't watch after your kid while you go fighting monsters with Natsu!"
Mira swooped in. "Don't you worry, Erza! I'll watch after Rose if you ever need to travel or simply want some alone time with Natsu" Winking devilishly, Mira somehow had retaken the infant, supporting her with stars in her eyes.
"I'll help too! I'll basically be her big sister!" Wendy added while pumping a fist in the air.
Makarov bellowed a laugh, the old man hefting a mug of frothing beer. "Ahh! This is great! A new member to our wonderful family, the presence of love and trust! This is a truly great day!" Slugging down half the beer, the elder studied the two parents with a fatherly smile. "Don't you worry you two, Fairy Tail can help anyway we can, after all, we're just a big family"
"Hah! Thanks gramps!" Clutching a fist enveloped in fire, Natsu was all smiles before turning to his wife. "Just so you know, if we have a boy next, I'm naming him Igneel"
Erza smiled at her husband, the wife's demeanor relaxed and warm. "Perhaps. But if we have another daughter, I get to name her…hmmm, I'll have to think about that"
"Either way, there could be a second little me running around in a few years! Igneel will be awesome like my dad! Hell yeah!"
"No nononoNO! This is a nightmare! Seeing him procreate once is bad enough, but two of him!?" Rushing toward the glowing cube, Gray slapped his palm on the red button, the ice mage horrendously green in the face as he gasped in horror at the implication.
In a flash, the universe on display disappeared, leaving the entirety of the guild disappointed.
"HEY! WE WERE STILL WATCHING!" Cana roared before throwing her beer at the man who deftly ducked despite his mental anguish.
He was talking about another child with Erza! More procreation!" clutching the sides of his head, Gray breathed in deeply as he tried to regain his senses. "I may have to sterilize him…" The continued thinking made him queasy once more, the ice mage stumbling.
"You will do no such thing" Erza stated with authority before glancing at Natsu who gave an awkward wave.
"That other Gray must be going through hell"
"Once again, your over-reacting!" Lucy shot out, the blonde key mage simply wandering over to the cube device, its glowing lines now hidden.
"Uh…you're not still mad at me for that other guild thing, right?"
Clearing her throat, Erza retook her seat, trying to regain her composure. Brushing a few scarlet locks away, she inhaled deeply. "While it was unexpected, it clearly was not the worst thing. After all, it appeared that our doubles had a very happy relationship and growing family. However, I will not start a romantic relationship with Natsu or whomever just because we witness it using this strange device….No matter how much somebody asks" Turning her gaze toward Juvia, the rain woman idly whistled while twisting a blue locket of hair.
"Juvia is just saying that If you two marry, then she can get Gray"
"Pretty sure it doesn't work like that" Laxus worded simply to the water mage.
Lucy poked the side with a slender finger, the young woman quite amazed. "Still pretty insane when you think about it. We just watched a parallel timeline unfold"
"We did indeed. I just wonder who actually built it" Hisui wondered before hearing some sniffling to her right.
Cosmos was wiping her eyes, the pink haired buxom woman mumbling how 'beautiful' it had all been.
"Should we watch another?" Romeo asked, the young man ignoring his still trapped father embedded in the wall. The elder Conbolt could be so embarrassing sometimes and Romeo tended to ignore his dad's habits.
"Yeah! Hopefully with something cool and metal!" Gajeel boasted loudly before slapping his palm on the green button with a big grin.
"BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREAK IT!" Levy shouted, but the script mage had no reason to worry as the cube shaped device powered up once more, the strange machine humming while the familiar blue lights of energy appeared.
In a flash, a brand new timeline appeared drawing the gaze of the mages as the talking settled down.
The field of sunflowers swayed under a summer breeze, the plantlife tranquil while several insects buzzed in contentment. Above, the sunlight poured down through a few scattered clouds while Erza walked slowly through the standing stalks of plants.
Wearing a flower petaled dress with simply straps, the stunning woman brushed her fingertips against several of the plants, her mind at ease.
"My love!"
Immediately turning her head, Erza's smile grew wider as Ichiya ran toward her, the short man in a white suit and purple tie. With flowing orange hair, the man drew closer as Erza started to run, her large bosom unrestrained in the simple dress.
"You came, Ichiya" Running faster through the field of flowers, Erza soon reached the short man and scooped him up in her arms.
"Ahhh! Your parfume of beauty radiates like these sunflowers! Just think, in a few short days we will be married!"
"Yes! I can hardly wa—"
"NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!" Screaming in horror, Erza made a beeline to the cube while raising her sword in a flash of re-quipped light. "I WILL NOT WITNESS SUCH EVIL! AHHHHHH!" Bringing it down on the cube, her sword struck, only to deflect off the material without a scratch.
"AAAAHHHH! WHY WONT THIS THING BREAK!?" Nearly panicking as her alternate timeline double leaned in for a kiss with Ichiya, Erza swung four more times before finally striking the red button by sheer accident.
Seething as the lights faded and the humming stopped, Erza looked frantic before she spun on the guild. "If…If that little troll ever finds out about this…you are all to blame" Raising her blade to emphasize her point, the woman looked like she had walked through the depths of hell.
"R…right. Of course. It never happened, right everybody?" Makarov placated as he looked for support from his children.
Of course, most were frozen in fear with the exception of Queen Hisui and her two guards. "I don't understand. She didn't act like this with the first timeline to this extreme" the young ruler thought out loud as Erza still trembled with horror across the room.
"Ichiya from Blue Pegasus is always hitting on Erza. I think she kicked him across the city once" Mira explained with a single finger resting on her chin. "But I guess with this device, we should expect to see many strange relationships or outcome's"
"Not. That. Never again" Eyes twitching, she slowly returned to her seat near Natsu. "I'd rather marry Natsu than that little square headed mage a hundred times" Shuddering once more, she finally dispelled her blade, letting the guild give a gasp of relief.
"Amazing that it wasn't destroyed. In fact, it doesn't have a single scratch. I wonder what type of material could withstand Erza like that?" Levy asked in contemplation, the slender and shorter woman trying to think of anything that could explain this strange cube.
"Who knows? Maybe the designer was worried about accidental damage?" Evergreen suggested while warily looking at Erza, the knight still showing signs of disturbance. "To be fair, I wouldn't want to marry that little creep either"
For a brief moment, the lone female of the Thunder Legion felt an icy hand grip her heart before pushing the nightmare out of her head.
"So, what now?" Gildarts asked. Leaning back against the bar, even he had been a little scared of Erza that time.
"How about I hand out some more refreshments? It's a hot day and it will allow some of us to cool down after all that" Kinana suggested from behind the bar. Going to fill up several pitchers of sparkling cold water, the guild slowly settled down as the multiversal cube sat silently, waiting for the next activation.
So yeah, new story! I might do one more right away, but maybe not. Also a reminder. Not every universe will be FT. As stated, it could be something from Predator. Or Halo, or One Punch Man or a hundred different things. Will some of my stuff from my other stories make an appearance, yes. Will it all be there? No. If I did that, might as will just look up my other stories.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy and if you care about canon events…I don't.
