Chapter 1 Poke goes the Bat!
Batman, also known as Bruce Wayne, was living the life as the vigilante superhero and billionaire playboy. He stops all his archenemies in Gotham City and works with the Justice League. Everything was going well with Batman, but it wasn't long before his long forgotten dark secret was exposed on the internet. As he was looking through his Batcomputer, Batman suddenly read a video article about him kissing the supervillain, Cheetah. As Alfred Pennyworth fainted, the video became viral video in the social media, earning the nickname "Batty Smooshie Miss Cheeto". Soon then Batman got a call from the Justice League on his Batphone.
Batman was heading towards the Justice League's Watchtower II for a serious meeting with his fellow members. Superman, Wonder Women, Flash, Green Lantern (John Stewart), Hawkgirl and Martian Manhunter were waiting for Batman in serious look. First, Wonder Women slap Batman out of betrayal and soon everyone started to question him. They demanded a good explanation and Batman explained in an honest way. But as they were arguing about Batman's case, Superman declared that Batman is expelled from the Justice League until Batman knows who side he is on. Batman accepts the punishment and hands over his transmitter key that is his access to the Watchtower II. He heads out from the Watchtower II and Batman saw his friend with disappointment as the doors were closing.
As Batman returned to Gotham City he was despised and laughed at by everyone due to his viral video meme. Batman tries to resume his crime fighting deeds but his enemies like the Penguin, Bane, Poison Ivy, Dr. Freeze, the Riddler, Two-Face, Scarecrow and even Joker refuse and make fun of Batman because of his viral video meme. So, Gotham City was living an average life without crimes since every criminal blackmailed Batman for viral meme. Batman was hiding in his mansion home waiting for the video meme to end. Soon Alfed Pennyworth told Batman to go outside as Bruce Wayne. So, Batman took a walk in the streets but soon comes across someone who looks suspicious.
Luckily, Batman change to his outfit when nobody was looking, and he follow the suspicious man. As he follows the suspicious man, it led him to an underground laboratory where they were doing experiments on a strange orb. Batman thought to himself, if he could retrieve the strange orb from those evil scientists and return to its rightful place he could return as the superhero in Gotham City. As the scientists were beginning their experiment, Batman rushes through to get the mysterious orb. Then suddenly, when Batman touches it, the mysterious orb turns into a portal. Batman tries to escape the portal's vortex but was suck into it.
Batman was traveling inside the portal and then soon crashed land into an unknown world. As Batman woke up from unconsciousness, he saw that he was in a forest, and he observed his surroundings. Batman was walking through the forest when he encountered many strange creatures that almost looked like animals and plants. Batman saw that the strange creatures were friendly, and he approached them. The strange creatures saw him and were intimate by Batman's disguise. Seeing how his outfit scares them, Batman took off his mask, cape and belt and the creatures walked toward him. They were very friendly toward Batman and Batman started to like them. So, he walked with the strange creatures to learn about what they were.
