A miracle.

"What the hell... why am I like this... where am I?"

Uzumaki Naruto was so very confused when he just awoke in the form of a small floating ball of yellow energy. He existed in the form of a physical soul that floated above a small mound of dirt that seemed to have been recently dug up. It was a very startling state of being for him, since he didn't expect to be like this.

He was also so weak.

"You, girl, explain... you're dressed weird." Naruto stated when he saw a very shocked girl who was sitting on the ground, having jumped back in shock when a yellow soul just appeared out of the ground.

She was dressed as a nun, sort of.

Blond hair, long and straight, big green rounded eyes, and peach skin. She couldn't be more than 16 or 17 years old, and she had a body that didn't have a lot of physical training from a glance. She was slender though, a very attractive girl.

The girl was just stunned.

She looked at the mound of dirt.

'She seems shocked... and I'm just a tiny ball of chakra and soul... hmmm... I see, I see... I can still sort of sense my original body too... but it's in another dimension.' Naruto thought as he looked at the girl, and then he looked at the dirt mound. He could still sense his original body, and his original body was still alive and well. It also had a huge part of his chakra and soul still inside of it, only now the connection was so weak that only a small amount of chakra was coming through from the original.

A piece.

All of a Shinobi's memories could be contained in a small piece of chakra, and flesh could contain chakra as well. Naruto would guess that this was like a weird type of connection. It was like the connection between him and his Shadow Clones, connected by a string of chakra too thin of track, but strong enough to stay connected across dimensions.

"I... I buried your hand... you're dead."

"Okay, I'm all caught up now." Naruto heard her speak, and he now had confirmation that he wasn't the full thing. He was just the smallest of fractions of himself at the moment. He was still "the original" as in he was a piece of himself. 'Nature energy is different... the air around this place feels... divine almost... I get it. The little bit of my chakra in my hand must have mixed in with the surroundings.'

The girl calmed down slowly.

"What is... what is your name? My name is Asia Argento." Asia introduced herself when she asked, so she was a girl who had very good manners. Naruto turned his form around and looked at her more directly. 'Whisker marks.' Asia noticed the soul ball had those on it.

"Uzumaki Naruto, call me Naruto... is this holy ground... and are you some kind of holy girl?" Naruto asked her as he tried to figure out what happened.

Six Paths Sage Mode was a Divine Transformation, if this was Holy Ground, then it was possible that his chakra really did just sync up with the air here. If this girl was a holy maiden, and she offered prayers to his hand, then nature energy, holy energy, and his own chakra filled with his memories could have just given the small fragment of his chakra a soul of it's own... well, converted part of his chakra into a soul.

"I'm... well... kind of. This is holy ground though, we're outside of the Vatican." Asia answered the question.

"Vatican..." Naruto didn't know what that was. Naruto did look at the girl though. 'Her prayers, she must be a girl with a mindset like mine... and her body... she's like a female version of me, change her eye color and she's my sister.' Naruto could see why his chakra synced up so well with this girl's prayers.

1/100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance of this all lining up so perfectly.

It was almost unbelievable.

All of the perfect conditions came together for this to happen.

'My chakra is synced up to her, it's inside of her soul now. I'm bound to her...' Naruto could feel that her soul contained a piece of his chakra. "... What prayer did you use?"

"I prayed that you wouldn't be lonely."

"Asia... you didn't just pray, you bound us together. Are you a lonely person... yeah, you are, you don't need to answer." Naruto could see her look away. The sun was starting to set, and he could see that she was all by herself at the moment. Her face changed when he asked if she was lonely. Her prayer wasn't just a prayer, but it was a wish. She had not just wished he wouldn't be lonely in the afterlife, but she had connected that to her wishing she could have somebody to be with.

"You're bound to me?" Asia didn't know what that meant.

Naruto floated around her.

"I'm not just bound to you, you're bound to me as well. Chakra, my chakra, is a force that can bond people together even on a spiritual level... when you wished, when you prayed that I wouldn't be lonely, my chakra... my memories felt bad for you and granted your wish." Naruto could easily see his chakra and memories just syncing up with her desire for people, and awakening him

The sun was starting to touch the horizon.

"So... you're like my guardian angel?"

The sun was halfway down.

"... Consider me your-" Naruto started to stay, only he paused when his point of view changed. It wasn't a subtle change either.

It all changed.

He wasn't looking at Asia anymore, instead he was looking at a small light green ball of soul that was floating in front of him. The soul had a ahoge like Asia, and a very confused look to it's face. The ball of soul had a green glow around the light green sphere itself.

"What happened, I'm looking at me!" Asia's voice came out of the ball of soul.

Naruto stood up and looked down.

He was in control of Asia's body.

"... other half." Naruto continued after a moment, and he had Asia's voice when he was in control of her body. He reached up and grabbed his throat. "Ah... ah... ah... there we go." Naruto changed Asia's voice by deepening it until he mimicked his own voice. It would take an active effort to keep her voice changed to his voice.

"What happened!"

"The sun set, and we switched places. Lets see... this is the most I can do." Naruto tried to activate his own chakra, but the amount of chakra he had, and the amount that Asia's body could use was miniscule. He managed to cover Asia's fist in yellow chakra for a couple of seconds, before the chakra fizzled away.

Asia's hand was a wreck.

Those few seconds of using his chakra in her hand had left her hand covered in wounds, as all of the muscles in her hand were torn, and even the skin was ripped in some spots.

"Sorry!"

"It's okay, I can heal it!" Asia accepted his apology and floated down next to her own hand, and the green glow around her soul got larger. It covered her hand, and the wounds started to heal themselves. "My Sacred Gear is part of my soul, so I can use it like this too... that's handy!" Asia looked at Naruto in her body.

He started to pace back and forth.

'Why did we switch... I don't have enough information... if I was Shikamaru I would be able to figure it out. Maybe it has something to do with the way Asia and me are bound together... maybe... maybe I can ask Kurama about it. If I strengthen the connection between my chakra and my original body, I can ask Kurama about it in my mind... the connection is too weak now though.' Naruto knew that even Shadow Clones could communicate with Kurama in his mind. As long as he was still connected to his main body through chakra, if he could make the connection stronger then he could talk to Kurama.

"It seems this might be my fault."

"Please... holy maiden... please help me."

"Do you know this guy?" Naruto asked Asia as a boy was crawling towards them. He had injuries, and he seemed to be crawling towards Asia with a knowing look. He had bat-like wings coming from his back, and a nasty aura about him. Naruto was on his guard because the guy, despite being injured, wasn't actually in danger of anything.

He was faking it.

"No, but he's hurt, you need to help him." Asia started to float to the boy.

Naruto grabbed her in his hand and stopped her.

"Boy, can you see what I'm holding?" Naruto showed the boy Asia's soul. He looked at Naruto's hand, but he saw the palm of his hand, and not Asia's soul inside of it. He was just visibly confused, and Naruto could tell from that, that only he could see Asia at the moment. He hoped that meant that Asia was the only one who could see him in soul form.

"Nothing... please help me."

"No, you're clearly evil. Stay away from Asia's body." Naruto backed away from the boy.

He clicked his teeth.

"Fine, damn, I hoped that I wouldn't need to just rape you. I wanted to get you kicked out of the church first, and then rescue you... but if you won't heal me..." The boy stopped the act, and his words struck Asia dearly. Naruto let go of her, and he started to get Asia's body ready for some kind of fight. The boy stopped faking everything, being hurt, and needing help. His face became unpleasant and wicked, a lick of his lips. "Well... you being fucked by a devil will still mean you can't stay here, and you won't have anywhere else to go."

"He's... what is he talking about?" Asia whispered as she floated behind Naruto.

"No answer." Naruto didn't want to say the answer. His chakra from earlier that he used had recharged thanks to his connection to his original body. He had about 2 seconds worth of chakra, and using it hurt Asia's body thanks to her lack of chakra network. The chakra ripped up her body. For 2 seconds of a small amount of chakra, he had about a 5 minute recharge time. '... Once he gets in close, I need to counter attack at the right moment.'

Asia didn't have great reaction speed in her body.

The boy appeared in front of Asia's body, and Naruto wasn't able to track him with Asia's eyes easily. It was just a blur of moment. He took a gut punch that knocked the wind out of him.

"Naruto!"

'Shit, Asia's body isn't built for fighting...' Naruto grit his teeth when Asia was grabbed by the neck. The front of her dress was ripped off of her body, and he could feel Asia's breast get groped painfully hard.

"Oh, you've got a defiant look in your eye, I love that... oh... you want to fight back, cute."

Naruto had reached out with Asia's hand and grabbed the boy's forehead and gripped it.

'Don't have a lot of chakra to work with... not even enough for a Rasengan right now. Still... I should have enough for this.' Naruto thought. '... Rasengan training... STAGE 2... pop the rubber ball!' Naruto used his training.

He popped the rubber ball.

The demon's head exploded, and Naruto fell to the groundf gasping for breath. He looked as the demon collapsed backwards, the upper part of his head just vanished from reality. Blood poured out of his head and onto the ground.

"Is... is it over?" Asia asked.

Naruto slowly caught his breath.

'Such a cruel, underhanded way to kill... I couldn't even react to him in her body. I had to use him underestimating her to finish him off... I couldn't even make a Rasengan to kill him with some form of honor.' Naruto looked at Asia's hand. The palm of her hand and the underside of her fingers were torn up from what he had done. The boy's body kept bleeding, but the blood flow had slowed down considerably.

Asia floated down and started to heal her own hand.

"I'm... I'm sorry you were forced to do that to protect us."

"Us?" Naruto asked, his surprise making him drop the his voice mimicking.

"I mean... you said it, we're bound together. I forced you to be bound to me, the least I can do is share my body with you... so... it's our body. Thank you for protecting us." Asia thanked him, and he smiled for a brief moment.

'Right, this is our body I guess... I haven't felt that weak in a long time. Still, I managed to save us this time... not all opponents will want to rape us or underestimate us like that. I've got to make our body stronger.' Naruto glanced at Asia's soul, which was not looking at the boy's body.

"MISS ASIA! Be careful, a devil escaped here, and-!"

"Wow, you're a bit late buddy." Naruto deadpanned when a couple of men in uniform came running to save her. The man looked at the corpse, and Naruto chuckled in Asia's voice. He placed her hand on her face. 'Our hand... huh...' Naruto thought with a blink.

Whisker marks.

Asia's cheeks were engraved with his whisker marks.

"You managed to kill him!?"

"Naruto... my boobs!"

"Our boobs actually." Naruto whispered back to her with a short laugh. Still, Naruto could see what Asia wanted. The devil had ripped her dress, and her boobs were exposed at the moment. Naruto reached up and used an arm to cover up her boobs, and with the sleeve of her dress Naruto kept Asia's breasts hidden from the men who had arrived on the scene too late. "You know, he was going to rape me... you guys should have gotten to him much faster than this. I mean, look at me... look at these bruises." Naruto's throat was bruised, and so was his stomach.

"We're sorry, we should have known he was after you, what can we do to make it up to you."

"It's fine, I'm not totally helpless. I can kill a devil like that if I really tried. If I couldn't defend myself, then I would have been raped... still, I forgive you two... these bruises will heal soon enough." Naruto teased the men slightly, before he became much more relaxed.

One of the men was examining the corpse.

"You killed him?"

"Yes, I killed him, he was about to really do some nasty stuff to me. I used my Sacred power thing to do it." Naruto didn't remember what Asia called it.

"I see, that make sense, Twilight Healing is a powerful healing gear... when used on a devil, surely this is the result.' The exorcist stated as it clicked for him.

Naruto looked at Asia.

"Holy power hurts devils."

'Okay, that makes sense, my chakra seemed SUPER effective on him. The amount of chakra I used should have just scrambled his brains, but his head exploded... still... I have a feeling that if Asia had healed this guy, something horrible would have happened.' Naruto couldn't drop the feeling that it was a really good thing for Asia that he was in control of her body at the moment.

Things could have gotten ugly.
